Ezekiel 33
1 Again, the woorde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
१मग परमेश्वराचे वचन मजकडे आले व म्हणाले,
2 Sonne of man, speake to the children of thy people, and say vnto them, When I bring the sworde vpon a lande, if the people of the lande take a man from among them, and make him their watchman,
२“मानवाच्या मुला, तुझ्या लोकांशी बोल त्यांना सांग की, जेव्हा मी कोणत्याही देशाविरूद्ध तलवार आणीन, तेव्हा त्या देशाचे लोक आपल्यातील एका मनुष्यास घेतात आणि त्यास आपल्यासाठी पहारेकरी करतात.
3 If when hee seeth the sworde come vpon ye land, he blow the trumpet, and warne the people,
३तो देशावर तलवार येत आहे असे पाहून आणि तो त्याचे शिंग फुंकून लोकांस सावध करतो.
4 Then hee that heareth the sounde of the trumpet, and will not bee warned, if the sworde come, and take him away, his blood shall be vpon his owne head.
४जर लोकांनी शिंगाचा आवाज ऐकला पण त्याकडे लक्ष दिले नाही, आणि जर त्यांच्यावर तलवार आली व त्यांना मारले, तर प्रत्येकाचे रक्त त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या डोक्यावर राहिल.
5 For he heard the sound of the trumpet, and woulde not bee admonished: therefore his blood shall be vpon him: but he that receiueth warning, shall saue his life.
५जर कोणी एखाद्याने शिंगाचा आवाज ऐकला आणि लक्ष दिले नाही, त्याचे रक्त त्यावर राहिल. पण जर त्याने लक्ष दिले, तो आपला स्वतःचा जीव वाचवील.
6 But if the watchman see the sworde come, and blowe not the trumpet, and the people be not warned: if the sworde come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away for his iniquitie, but his blood will I require at the watchmans hande.
६पण, कदाचित्, जर जसे पहारेकरी तलवार येत आहे असे पाहील, पण जर त्याने शिंग फुंकले नाही, त्याचा परीणाम लोकांस सावध केले नाही, आणि जर तलवार आली आणि कोणाचा जीव घेतला, तर तो त्याच्या पापात मरेल, पण त्याचे रक्त मी पहारेकऱ्याकडून मागून घेईन.
7 So thou, O sonne of man, I haue made thee a watchman vnto the house of Israel: therefore thou shalt heare the woorde at my mouth, and admonish them from me.
७आता, मानवाच्या मुला, मी तुला इस्राएलाच्या घराण्यासाठी पहारेकरी केले आहे. तू माझ्या मुखातून वचन ऐकून आणि माझ्यावतीने त्यांना सावध कर.
8 When I shall say vnto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt die the death, if thou doest not speake, and admonish the wicked of his way, that wicked man shall die for his iniquitie, but his blood will I require at thine hand.
८जर मी दुष्टाला म्हणतो, अरे दुष्टा तू खचित मरशील, पण जर तू दुष्टाला त्याच्या मार्गापासून फिरवण्यासाठी तू त्यास बजावून सांगण्यासाठी त्याच्याशी बोलणार नाही तर तो दुष्ट आपल्या पापत मरेल, पण त्याचे रक्त मी तुझ्यापासून मागेन.
9 Neuerthelesse, If thou warne the wicked of his way, to turne from it, if he doe not turne from his way, he shall die for his iniquitie, but thou hast deliuered thy soule.
९पण तू त्या पाप्यास सावध करून कुमार्ग सोडून सन्मार्ग धरण्यास सांगितलेस आणि त्याने ह्यास नकार दिला, तर तो मनुष्य त्याच्या पापामुळे मरेल. पण तू वाचशील.
10 Therefore, O thou sonne of man, speake vnto the house of Israel, Thus yee speake and say, If our transgressions and our sinnes bee vpon vs, and we are consumed because of them, howe should we then liue?
१०म्हणून हे मानवाच्या मुला, इस्राएलाच्या घराण्याला सांग, तुम्ही म्हणता, की, आमचे अपराध व आमची पापे यांचा बोजा आम्हावर आहे व त्यामुळे त्यामध्ये आम्ही कुजत आहोत. आम्ही कसे जगावे?
11 Say vnto them, As I liue, sayeth the Lord God, I desire not the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turne from his way and liue: turne you, turne you from your euill waies, for why will ye die, O ye house of Israel?
११त्यांना सांग, प्रभू परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, जसा मी जिवंत आहे, मला ‘दुष्टांच्या मरणाने आनंद होत नाही, कारण जर दुष्टाने आपल्या मार्गापासून पश्चाताप केला, तर मग तो जिवंत राहील! पश्चाताप करा! तुमच्या दुष्ट मार्गापासून पश्चाताप करा! कारण इस्राएल घराण्यांनो, तुम्ही का मरावे?’
12 Therefore thou sonne of man, saye vnto the children of thy people, The righteousnesse of the righteous shall not deliuer him in the day of his transgression, nor the wickednesse of the wicked shall cause him to fall therein, in the day that he returneth from his wickednesse, neither shall the righteous liue for his righteousnesse in the day that he sinneth.
१२आणि मानवाच्या मुला, तू तुझ्या लोकांस सांग, धार्मिक पाप करील तर त्याची धार्मिकता त्यास वाचविणार नाही. आणि दुष्टाने आपल्या पापाचा पश्चाताप केला तर दुष्टतेमुळे त्याचा नाश होणार नाही. कारण धार्मिक पाप करू लागला तर तो आपल्या धार्मिकतेमुळे वाचू शकणार नाही.
13 When I shall say vnto the righteous, that he shall surely liue, if he trust to his owne righteousnes, and commit iniquitie, all his righteousnes shall be no more remembred, but for his iniquitie that he hath committed, he shall die for the same.
१३जर मी धार्मिकाला म्हणालो, तो खचित जिवंत राहिल! आणि जर तो आपल्या धार्मिकतेवर भाव ठेवून अन्याय करील, तर त्याची सर्व धार्मिकतेची कृत्ये मी आठवणार नाही. त्याने केलेल्या दुष्कृत्यांमुळे तो मरेल.
14 Againe when I shall say vnto the wicked, thou shalt die the death, if he turne from his sinne, and doe that which is lawfull and right,
१४आणि जर मी दुष्टाला म्हणालो तू खचित मरशील! पण जर त्याने त्याच्या पापापासून पश्चाताप केला आणि जे काही योग्य व न्याय्य आहे ते केले,
15 To wit, if the wicked restore the pledge, and giue againe that he had robbed, and walke in the statutes of life, without committing iniquitie, he shall surely liue, and not die.
१५जर दुष्ट गहाण परत देईल, व जे चोरून घेतलेले ते परत भरून देईल, जर तो अन्याय न करता जीवनाच्या नियमांमध्ये वागेल तर तो वाचेलच, तो मरणार नाही.
16 None of his sinnes that he hath comitted, shall be mentioned vnto him: because he hath done that, which is lawful, and right, he shall surely liue.
१६त्याने पूर्वी केलेली पापे मी स्मरणार नाही. जे योग्य व न्यायाने ते त्याने केले आहे, तो खचित जगेल.
17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equall: but their owne way is vnequall.
१७पण तुझे लोक म्हणतात, प्रभूचे मार्ग योग्य नाहीत, परंतु तुझे मार्ग योग्य नाहीत!
18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousnesse, and committeth iniquitie, he shall euen die thereby.
१८जेव्हा धार्मिक आपल्या धार्मिकतेपासून फिरून व पाप करू लागला, तर तो त्यामध्ये मरेल.
19 But if the wicked returne from his wickednesse, and doe that which is lawfull and right, hee shall liue thereby.
१९आणि जेव्हा दुष्ट आपल्या दुष्टतेपासून फिरून जे योग्य व न्याय्य आहे ते करतो तर तो त्या गोष्टीमुळे जगेल.
20 Yet yee say, The way of the Lord is not equall. O ye house of Israel, I will iudge you euery one after his waies.
२०पण तुम्ही लोक म्हणता, प्रभूचा मार्ग बरोबर नाही! इस्राएलाच्या घराण्यांनो मी तुमच्या प्रत्येकाचा न्याय त्याच्या मार्गाप्रमाणे करीन.”
21 Also in the twelfth yere of our captiuitie, in the tenth moneth, and in the fift day of the moneth, one that had escaped out of Ierusalem, came vnto me, and said, The citie is smitten.
२१आमच्या बंदिवासाच्या बाराव्या वर्षाच्या दहाव्या महिन्याच्या पाचव्या दिवशी असे झाले की, यरूशलेमेमधून एक फरारी माझ्याकडे आला व म्हणाला, “नगर काबीज झाले आहे.”
22 Now the hand of the Lord had bene vpon me in ye euening afore hee that had escaped, came, and had opened my mouth vntill he came to me in the morning: and when hee had opened my mouth, I was no more dumme.
२२तो फरारी संध्याकाळी येण्यापूर्वी परमेश्वराचा हात माझ्यावर होता, आणि तो सकाळी माझ्याकडे येण्याच्या वेळी परमेश्वराने त्याने माझे मुख उघडले होते. म्हणून माझे मुख उघडे होते; मी मुका राहिलो नाही.
23 Againe the worde of the Lord came vnto me, and saide,
२३मग परमेश्वराचे वचन मजकडे आले आणि म्हणाले,
24 Sonne of man, these that dwel in the desolate places of the land of Israel, talke and say, Abraham was but one, and hee possessed the lande: but we are many, therefore the lande shall be giuen vs in possession.
२४“मानवाच्या मुला, जे इस्राएल देशाच्या विध्वंस झालेल्या नगरातून राहत आहेत ते बोलतात व म्हणतात, अब्राहाम फक्त एकच पुरुष होता आणि त्यास या देशाचे वतन मिळाले परंतु आम्ही तर पुष्कळ आहोत! देश आम्हास वतनासाठी दिला आहे.
25 Wherefore say vnto them, Thus saieth the Lord God, Ye eate with the blood, and lift vp your eyes towarde your idoles, and sheade blood: should ye then possesse the land?
२५म्हणून तू त्यांना सांग की प्रभू परमेश्वर, असे म्हणतो, तुम्ही रक्तासकट मांस खाता. तुम्ही आपल्या मूर्तीकडे डोळे लावता, तुम्ही लोकांचे रक्त पाडता. तर मग तुम्ही खरोखर देश वतन करून घ्याल का?
26 Ye leane vpon your swordes: ye worke abomination, and yee defile euery one his neighbours wife: should ye then possesse the land?
२६तुम्ही तुमच्या स्वत: च्या तलवारीवर अवलंबून राहता आणि तुम्ही अमंगळ गोष्टी करता. प्रत्येक मनुष्य आपल्या शेजाऱ्याच्या पत्नीला अशुद्ध करतो, तुम्ही खरोखर देश वतन करून घ्याल का?
27 Say thus vnto them, Thus saieth the Lord God, As I liue, so surely they that are in the desolate places, shall fall by the sword: and him that is in the open field, will I giue vnto the beasts to be deuoured: and they that be in the forts and in the caues, shall die of the pestilence.
२७तू त्यांना हे सांग की, प्रभू परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, मी जिवंत आहे; त्या नाश झालेल्या नगरात राहणारे लोक तलवारीने खचित मारले जातील. जर एखादा शेतांत असेल, तर त्यास मी पशूचे भक्ष्य म्हणून देईन आणि जे कोणी किल्ल्यात व गुहेत आहेत ते मरीने मरतील.
28 For I will lay the land desolate and waste, and the pompe of her strength shall cease: and the moutaines of Israel shalbe desolate, and none shall passe through.
२८मग मी ती भूमी ओसाड व निर्जन करीन आणि त्याच्या सामर्थ्याचा गर्वाचा अंत होईल. इस्राएलचे पर्वत ओसाड होतील. तेथून कोणीही जाणारसुद्धा नाही.
29 Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I haue laid ye land desolate and wast, because of al their abominations, that they haue committed.
२९म्हणून त्यांनी ज्या अमंगळ गोष्टी केल्या त्यामुळे जेव्हा मी तो देश ओसाड आणि दहशत असा करीन. तेव्हा त्यांना समजेल की, मीच परमेश्वर आहे.
30 Also thou sonne of man, the children of thy people that talke of thee by the wals and in the dores of houses, and speake one to another, euery one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and heare what is the word that commeth from the Lord.
३०आणि, मानवाच्या मुला, आता तुझ्याबद्दल तुझे लोक भिंतीला टेकून, त्यांच्या घराच्या दारांत उभे राहून, व एक दुसऱ्याशी व प्रत्येक आपल्या भावाशी बोलतो, ते म्हणतात चला, व परमेश्वराकडून संदेष्ट्याकडे आलेले वचन जाऊन ऐकू या.
31 For they come vnto thee, as the people vseth to come: and my people sit before thee, and heare thy wordes, but they will not doe them: for with their mouthes they make iestes, and their heart goeth after their couetousnesse.
३१म्हणून ते लोक येत असतात तसे ते तुझ्याकडे येतात. आणि ते माझ्या लोकांप्रमाणे तुझ्यापुढे बसतात तुझी वचने ऐकतात, परंतु ते ती आचरीत नाहीत. जरी ते आपल्या मुखाने फार प्रीती दाखवतात तरी त्यांचे चित्त त्यांच्या लाभाच्या मागे चालत जाते.
32 And loe, thou art vnto them, as a iesting song of one that hath a pleasant voyce, and can sing well: for they heare thy woordes, but they doe them not.
३२कारण पाहा, ज्याचा स्वर गोड व तू त्यांना मनोहर गीतासारखा, तंतुवाद्यांवर मधुर आवाजात वाजवणारा, असा तू त्यांना आहे. म्हणून ते तुझे वचने ऐकतात, पण त्याप्रमाणे ते चालत नाहीत.
33 And when this commeth to passe (for loe, it will come) then shall they know, that a Prophet hath bene among them.
३३म्हणून जेव्हा हे सर्व होईल, पाहा! हे होईल! मग त्यांना समजेल की आपल्यामध्ये एक संदेष्टा होता.”
