Ezekiel 28
1 The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
2 Sonne of man, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man and not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
"Sprich, Menschensohn! Sprich so: 'Vom Tyrusfürsten spricht der Herr, der Herr, also: Du sagst im Übermut. "Ein Gott bin ich. Auf einem Göttersitz im Herzen des Meeres wohne ich", obgleich du nur ein Mensch bist und kein Gott. Du meinst, der Weisheit eines Gottes sei die deine gleich.
3 Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.
Sieh, du bist weiser noch als Daniel, und kein Geheimnis ist vor dir verborgen.
4 With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.
Durch deine Weisheit, deine Klugheit erwarbst du Reichtum dir und schafftest Gold und Silber her in deinen Schatz.
5 By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.
Dank deiner Klugheit Fülle mehrtest du durch deinen Handel deinen Reichtum, und übermütig ward dein Sinn durch deine Schätze.'
6 Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
Deshalb spricht so der Herr, der Herr: 'Du meintest, eines Gottes Weisheit sei die deine gleich.
7 Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.
Drum führ ich über dich jetzt Fremdlinge herbei, der Heidenvölker Wildeste. Die zücken ihre Schwerter gegen deiner Klugheit Wohnstätte, vernichten deinen Glanz
8 They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.
und stürzen dich zur Grube, daß du den Tod Erschlagener sterbest.
9 Wilt thou say then before him, that slayeth thee, I am a god? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hands of him that slayeth thee.
Wirst du vor deinen Henkern dann noch sagen: "Ich bin ein Gott"? Du bist dann nur ein Mensch, kein Gott, wenn du dich in der Mörder Hand erblickst.
10 Thou shalt die the death of the vncircumcised by the hands of stragers: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.
Den Tod der Nackten sollst du leiden durch fremde Hand. Ich sage es.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn."
11 Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
12 Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.
"Ach Menschensohn! Ein Klagelied heb über Tyrus' König an und sprich: So spricht der Herr, der Herr, von ihm: 'Ein Muster bist du und ein Ausbund voller Weisheit, an Schönheit ganz vollkommen.
13 Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
In einem Eden, einem Gottesgarten, wohntest du und warst bedeckt mit mannigfachen Edelsteinen, mit Karneol, Topas, Beryll, mit Goldstein, Onyx und mit Jaspis, mit Saphir und Rubin, Smaragd und Gold, mit Werken deiner Künstler und Metallbearbeiter, die an dem Tage deines Werdens in Bereitschaft standen.
14 Thou art the anointed Cherub, that couereth, and I haue set thee in honour: thou wast vpon the holy mountaine of God: thou hast walked in the middes of the stones of fire.
Ich machte dich dem Cherub ähnlich, der das Verschlossene behütet. Du warst auf einem Gottesberge und wandeltest inmitten dort von Feuersteinen.
15 Thou wast perfite in thy wayes from the day that thou wast created, till iniquitie was found in thee.
Du schienst in deinem Wandel tadellos zu sein vom Tage deines Werdens an, bis daß man schließlich Schlechtigkeit an dir entdeckte.
16 By the multitude of thy marchandise, they haue filled the middes of thee with crueltie, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as prophane out of the mountaine of God: and I will destroy thee, O couering Cherub from the mids of the stones of fire.
Durch deinen großen Handel sind deine Schatzkammern mit ungerechtem Gut gefüllt. Und du begingst Verfehlungen. Da warf ich dich vom Gottesberg herab, gab dich, den Schutz-Cherub bei Feuersteinen, dem Untergange preis.
17 Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.
Hochfahrend war dein Sinn durch deine Schönheit. So hast du deine Weisheit dir verdorben um deines Glanzes willen. Da warf ich dich zu Boden und gab dich Königen zur Augenweide preis.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, and by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.
Durch deiner Frevel Menge, durch die VerschuIdungen bei deinem Handel hast du dein Heiligtum entweiht. Ich ließ hervor aus deiner Mitte Feuer brechen; dich fraß es auf. Ich machte auf der Erde dich zu Staub im Angesichte aller, die dich sahen.
19 All they that knowe thee among the people, shalbe astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt thou be any more.
Und alle, die dich kannten bei den Völkern, staunten über dich. Zum Schreckgespenst bist du geworden und bist für alle Zeit dahin.'"
20 Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
21 Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,
"Nun, Menschensohn! Dein Antlitz richte gegen Sidon! Und weissage dagegen!
22 And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.
Und sprich: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Ich will an dich, du Sidon; gekränkte Ehre räche ich an dir, damit man innewerde: Ich bin der Herr; an ihm vollziehe ich die Strafgerichte und zeige mich an ihm als Heiligen.
23 For I wil send into her pestilence, and blood into her streetes, and the slaine shall fall in the middes of her: the enemie shall come against her with the sword on euery side, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Ich sende Pest dawider und Blut in seine Gassen. Erschlagne stürzen darin nieder durch das Schwert, von überall dagegen wütend, auf daß man innewerde, daß ich der Herr bin.
24 And they shalbe no more a pricking thorne vnto the house of Israel, nor any grieuous thorne of all that are round about them, and despised them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord God.
Für das Haus Israel gibt's keinen Stachel mehr, der es verwundet, und keine Dornen, die es schmerzen, bei allen seinen Nachbarn, die es anfielen, damit sie innewerden, daß ich der Herr, der Herr.'
25 Thus saith the Lord God, When I shall haue gathered the house of Israel from the people where they are scattered, and shalbe sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwel in the land, that I haue giuen to my seruant Iaakob.
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Wenn ich das Haus von Israel einst aus den Völkern sammle, worunter es zerstreut, dann zeige ich an ihnen vor den Augen der Heiden mich als Heiligen; dann sollen sie ihr Land bewohnen, das ich verliehen habe meinem Knechte Jakob.
26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall builde houses, and plant vineyards: yea, they shall dwell safely, when I haue executed iudgements vpon al round about them that despise them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord their God.
Sie sollen sicher in ihm wohnen und Häuser bauen, Weinberge anpflanzen. Sie sollen sicher wohnen, wenn ich an allen ihren Nachbarn, die sie angefallen, die Strafgerichte dann vollstrecke, damit sie innewerden: Der Herr, ihr Gott, bin ich.'"
