Ezekiel 27

1 The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,

خداوند به من فرمود: «ای پسر انسان، برای صور این مرثیهٔ غم‌انگیز را بخوان:

2 Sonne of man, take vp a lametation for Tyrus,

3 And say vnto Tyrus, that is situate at the entrie of the sea, which is the marte of the people for many yles, Thus sayeth the Lord God, O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfite beautie.

«ای شهر مقتدر بندری، ای مرکز تجارت دنیا، به پیام خداوند یهوه گوش کن! می‌گویی که در تمام دنیا شهری زیباتر از تو نیست.

4 Thy borders are in the middes of the sea, and thy builders haue made thee of perfit beauty.

تو حدود خود را به داخل دریا رسانیده‌ای و سازندگانت تو را مانند یک کشتی زیبا ساخته‌اند.

5 They haue made all thy shippe boardes of firre trees of Shenir: they haue brought cedars from Lebanon, to make mastes for thee.

ایشان تخته‌های تو را از بهترین صنوبرهای کوه هرمون درست کرده‌اند و دکلهای تو را از سروهای لبنان ساخته‌اند.

6 Of ye okes of Bashan haue they made thine ores: the company of the Assyrians haue made thy banks of yuorie, brought out of ye yles of Chittim.

پاروهایت از چوب بلوط ناحیهٔ باشان است. عرشهٔ تو را از چوب شمشاد ساحل جنوبی قبرس ساخته‌اند و با عاج آنها را زینت داده‌اند.

7 Fine linen with broydered woorke, brought from Egypt, was spread ouer thee to be thy sayle, blue silke and purple, brought from the yles of Elishah, was thy couering.

بادبانهایت از بهترین پارچه‌های کتان گلدوزی شدهٔ مصر ساخته شده است. سایبان آبی و بنفش تو را از ناحیهٔ شرقی جزیرهٔ قبرس آورده‌اند.

8 The inhabitants of Zidon, and Aruad were thy mariners, O Tyrus: thy wise men that were in thee, they were thy pilots.

پاروزنان تو اهل صیدون و اَرواد هستند و ملوانان تو از ماهرترین افراد سرزمینت می‌باشند.

9 The ancients of Gebal, and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers, all the shippes of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupie thy marchandise.

کار قیراندود کردن درزهای کشتی‌ات به عهدهٔ مردان پیر و کارآزمودهٔ جِبال است. کشتی‌های پر از کالا از همه جا می‌آیند تا با تو داد و ستد نمایند.

10 They of Persia, and of Lud and of Phut were in thine armie: thy men of warre they hanged the shielde and helmet in thee: they set foorth thy beautie.

مردان سرزمینهای دور دست پارس، لود، و فوط جزو سپاهیان تو می‌باشند. آنها کمر به خدمت تو بسته‌اند و تو افتخار می‌کنی از اینکه ایشان سپرها و کلاهخودهای خود را بر دیوارهایت آویزان می‌کنند.

11 The men of Aruad with thine armie were vpon thy walles round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towres: they hanged their shields vpon thy walles round about: they haue made thy beautie perfite.

سربازان ارواد بر دیوارهایت نگهبانی می‌دهند و مردان جماد بر برجهای تو دیدبانی می‌کنند. سپرهای خود را به ردیف روی دیوارها می‌آویزند و شکوه و زیبایی تو را کامل می‌کنند.

12 They of Tarshish were thy marchantes for the multitude of all riches, for siluer, yron, tynne, and leade, which they brought to thy faires.

«تو با ترشیش تجارت می‌کنی. از آنجا نقره، آهن، روی و سرب فراوان به بازارهایت می‌آید.

13 They of Iauan, Tubal and Meshech were thy marchants, concerning the liues of men, and they brought vessels of brasse for thy marchadise.

تاجران یونان، توبال و ماشک برده‌ها و ظروف مفرغین برای تو می‌آورند،

14 They of the house of Togarmah brought to thy faires horses, and horsemen, and mules.

و تاجران توجرمه، اسب بارکش، اسب جنگی و قاطر به تو می‌فروشند.

15 The men of Dedan were thy marchantes: and the marchandise of many yles were in thine handes: they brought thee for a present hornes, teeth, and peacockes.

«تاجران رودس و بازرگانان سرزمینهای ساحلی، مجذوب بازارهای تو هستند و عاج و چوب آبنوس را با کالاهای تو معاوضه می‌کنند.

16 They of Aram were thy marchants for the multitude of thy wares: they occupied in thy faires with emerauds, purple, and broidred worke, and fine linen, and corall, and pearle.

سوریه برای خرید کالاهای فراوانت تاجران خود را نزد تو می‌فرستد. آنها با خود زمرد، ارغوان، پارچه‌های گلدوزی شده، کتان لطیف، مرجان و عقیق می‌آورند.

17 They of Iudah and of the land of Israel were thy marchants: they brought for thy marchandise wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honie and oyle, and balme.

یهودا و اسرائیل تجار خود را با گندم، حلوا، عسل، روغن زیتون و بلسان نزد تو می‌فرستند.

18 They of Damascus were thy marchants in ye multitude of thy wares, for the multitude of all riches, as in the wine of Helbon and white wooll.

دمشق هم برای خرید کالا و صنایع گوناگون تو، شراب حلبون و پشم سفید سوری به تو می‌دهد.

19 They of Dan also and of Iauan, going to and from, occupied in thy faires: yron woorke, cassia and calamus were among thy marchandise.

دانی‌ها و یونانیان اهل اوزال با تو روابط تجاری دارند و برایت آهن، سلیخه و نیشکر می‌آورند.

20 They of Dedan were thy marchants in precious clothes for the charets.

و اهالی ددان نمدهای نفیس برای زین اسبانت به تو می‌فروشند.

21 They of Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar occupied with thee, in lambes, and rammes and goates: in these were they thy marchants.

«عربها و بزرگان قیدار برایت بره و قوچ و بز می‌آورند.

22 The marchats of Sheba, and Raamah were thy marchantes: they occupied in thy faires with the chiefe of all spices, and with al precious stones and golde.

بازرگانان سبا و رعمه با همه نوع ادویه‌جات و جواهرات و طلا می‌آیند.

23 They of Haram and Canneh and Eden, the marchants of Sheba, Asshur and Chilmad were thy marchants.

تجار حران، کنه، عدن، سبا، آشور و کلمد نزد تو می‌آیند.

24 These were thy marchants in all sortes of things, in raiment of blewe silke, and of broydred woorke, and in coffers for the rich apparell, which were bound with cordes: chaines also were among thy marchandise.

آنها برای معامله با تو همه نوع کالا می‌آورند لباسهای فاخر، پارچه‌های آبی، پارچه‌های گلدوزی شده، فرشهای رنگارنگ، طنابها و ریسمانهای نفیس.

25 The shippes of Tarshish were thy chiefe in thy marchandise, and thou wast replenished and made very glorious in the middes of the sea.

کالاهای تو با کشتی‌های بزرگ تجاری حمل می‌شوند. انبارهای جزیرهٔ تو پر و لبریزند!

26 Thy robbers haue brought thee into great waters: the East winde hath broken thee in the middes of the sea.

ولی رهبرانت، کشتی سرزمین تو را به وسط دریا می‌رانند؛ در آنجا کشتی تو گرفتار تندباد شرقی شده، در قلب دریا در هم شکسته خواهد شد.

27 Thy riches and thy faires, thy marchandise, thy mariners and pilotes, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy marchandise and al thy men of warre that are in thee, and all thy multitude which is in the middes of thee, shall fall in the middes of the sea in the day of thy ruine.

همه چیز تو از دست خواهد رفت. اموال و کالاها، ناخدایان و ملوانان، کشتی‌سازان و بازرگانان، سربازان و همهٔ قوم تو در روز در هم شکسته شدن کشتی‌ات در دریا غرق خواهند شد.

28 The suburbes shall shake at the sound of the crie of thy pilotes.

از فریاد ناخدایان تو سواحل دریا تکان خواهند خورد.

29 And all that handle the ore, the mariners and al the pilots of the sea shall come downe from their shippes, and shall stand vpon the land,

«همهٔ دریانوردان به خشکی خواهند آمد و در ساحل ایستاده، نگاه خواهند کرد.

30 And shall cause their voyce to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast dust vpon their heads, and wallow theselues in the ashes.

به تلخی خواهند گریست، خاک بر سر خود خواهند ریخت و در خاکستر خواهند غلطید.

31 They shall plucke off their heare for thee and gird them with a sackecloth, and they shall weepe for thee with sorow of heart and bitter mourning.

از غصه و ناراحتی موی سر خود را خواهند کند، لباس ماتم پوشیده؛ با تلخی جان برایت گریه خواهند کرد. آنها عزا خواهند گرفت

32 And in their mourning, they shall take vp a lametation for thee, saying, What citie is like Tyrus, so destroied in the middes of the sea!

و این مرثیه را برای تو خواهند خواند:”در تمام دنیا شهری به زیبایی و عظمت صور نبود، ولی ببینید حالا چگونه در وسط دریا خاموش شده است!

33 When thy wares went foorth of the seas, thou filledst many people, and thou diddest enrich the Kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy marchandise.

ای صور اموال و ثروت تو بسیاری از قومها را سیر می‌کرد. پادشاهان جهان را با کالاهای صادراتی خود ثروتمند می‌نمودی.

34 When thou shalt be broken by ye seas in the depths of the waters, thy marchandise and all thy multitude, which was in the mids of thee, shall fal.

اما اینک در هم شکسته شده، زیر دریا مدفون گشته‌ای. تمام کالاها و کارکنانت با تو هلاک شده‌اند.

35 All the inhabitantes of the yles shall be astonished at thee, and all their Kings shall be sore afraide and troubled in their countenance.

همهٔ ساحل‌نشینان از آنچه که به سر تو آمده است حیرانند. پادشاهان ایشان وحشتزده و پریشانحال می‌باشند.

36 The marchants among the people shall hisse at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt be any more.

تجار ممالک سر خود را تکان می‌دهند، چون سرنوشت تو وحشتناک است و تو برای همیشه از بین رفته‌ای.“»
