Ezekiel 27
1 The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
Mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore:
2 Sonne of man, take vp a lametation for Tyrus,
«Orsù, figlio dell'uomo, intona un lamento su Tiro.
3 And say vnto Tyrus, that is situate at the entrie of the sea, which is the marte of the people for many yles, Thus sayeth the Lord God, O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfite beautie.
Così dice il Signore Dio: Tiro, tu dicevi: Io sono una nave di perfetta bellezza. Dì a Tiro, alla città situata all'approdo del mare, che commercia con i popoli e con le molte isole:
4 Thy borders are in the middes of the sea, and thy builders haue made thee of perfit beauty.
In mezzo ai mari è il tuo dominio. I tuoi costruttori ti hanno reso bellissima:
5 They haue made all thy shippe boardes of firre trees of Shenir: they haue brought cedars from Lebanon, to make mastes for thee.
con cipressi del Senìr hanno costruito tutte le tue fiancate, hanno preso il cedro del Libano per farti l'albero maestro;
6 Of ye okes of Bashan haue they made thine ores: the company of the Assyrians haue made thy banks of yuorie, brought out of ye yles of Chittim.
i tuoi remi li hanno fatti con le querce di Basan; il ponte te lo hanno fatto d'avorio, intarsiato nel bòssolo delle isole di Chittim.
7 Fine linen with broydered woorke, brought from Egypt, was spread ouer thee to be thy sayle, blue silke and purple, brought from the yles of Elishah, was thy couering.
Di lino ricamato d'Egitto era la tua vela che ti servisse d'insegna; di giacinto scarlatto delle isole di Elisà era il tuo padiglione.
8 The inhabitants of Zidon, and Aruad were thy mariners, O Tyrus: thy wise men that were in thee, they were thy pilots.
Gli abitanti di Sidòne e d'Arvad erano i tuoi rematori, gli esperti di Semer erano in te, come tuoi piloti.
9 The ancients of Gebal, and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers, all the shippes of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupie thy marchandise.
Gli anziani di Biblos e i suoi esperti erano in te per riparare le tue falle. Tutte le navi del mare e i loro marinai erano in te per scambiare merci.
10 They of Persia, and of Lud and of Phut were in thine armie: thy men of warre they hanged the shielde and helmet in thee: they set foorth thy beautie.
Guerrieri di Persia, di Lud e di Put erano nelle tue schiere, appendevano in te lo scudo e l'elmo, ti davano splendore.
11 The men of Aruad with thine armie were vpon thy walles round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towres: they hanged their shields vpon thy walles round about: they haue made thy beautie perfite.
I figli di Arvad e il loro esercito erano intorno alle tue mura vigilando sui tuoi bastioni, tutti appendevano intorno alle tue mura gli scudi, coronando la tua bellezza.
12 They of Tarshish were thy marchantes for the multitude of all riches, for siluer, yron, tynne, and leade, which they brought to thy faires.
Tarsìs commerciava con te, per le tue ricchezze d'ogni specie, scambiando le tue merci con argento, ferro, stagno e piombo.
13 They of Iauan, Tubal and Meshech were thy marchants, concerning the liues of men, and they brought vessels of brasse for thy marchadise.
Anche la Grecia, Tubal e Mesech commerciavano con te e scambiavan le tue merci con schiavi e oggetti di bronzo.
14 They of the house of Togarmah brought to thy faires horses, and horsemen, and mules.
Quelli di Togarmà ti fornivano in cambio cavalli da tiro, da corsa e muli.
15 The men of Dedan were thy marchantes: and the marchandise of many yles were in thine handes: they brought thee for a present hornes, teeth, and peacockes.
Gli abitanti di Dedan trafficavano con te; il commercio delle molte isole era nelle tue mani: ti davano in pagamento corni d'avorio ed ebano.
16 They of Aram were thy marchants for the multitude of thy wares: they occupied in thy faires with emerauds, purple, and broidred worke, and fine linen, and corall, and pearle.
Aram commerciava con te per la moltitudine dei tuoi prodotti e pagava le tue merci con pietre preziose, porpora, ricami, bisso, coralli e rubini.
17 They of Iudah and of the land of Israel were thy marchants: they brought for thy marchandise wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honie and oyle, and balme.
Con te commerciavano Giuda e il paese d'Israele. Ti davano in cambio grano di Minnìt, profumo, miele, olio e balsamo.
18 They of Damascus were thy marchants in ye multitude of thy wares, for the multitude of all riches, as in the wine of Helbon and white wooll.
Damasco trafficava con te per i tuoi numerosi prodotti, per i tuoi beni di ogni specie scambiando vino di Chelbòn e lana di Zacar.
19 They of Dan also and of Iauan, going to and from, occupied in thy faires: yron woorke, cassia and calamus were among thy marchandise.
Vedàn e Iavàn da Uzàl ti rifornivano ferro lavorato, cassia e canna aromatica in cambio dei tuoi prodotti.
20 They of Dedan were thy marchants in precious clothes for the charets.
Dedan trafficava con te in coperte di cavalli.
21 They of Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar occupied with thee, in lambes, and rammes and goates: in these were they thy marchants.
L'Arabia e tutti i prìncipi di Kedàr mercanteggiavano con te: trafficavano con te agnelli, montoni e capri.
22 The marchats of Sheba, and Raamah were thy marchantes: they occupied in thy faires with the chiefe of all spices, and with al precious stones and golde.
I mercanti di Saba e di Raemà trafficavano con te, scambiando le tue merci con i più squisiti aromi, con ogni sorta di pietre preziose e con oro.
23 They of Haram and Canneh and Eden, the marchants of Sheba, Asshur and Chilmad were thy marchants.
Carran, Cannè, Eden, i mercanti di Saba, Assur, Kilmàd commerciavano con te.
24 These were thy marchants in all sortes of things, in raiment of blewe silke, and of broydred woorke, and in coffers for the rich apparell, which were bound with cordes: chaines also were among thy marchandise.
Scambiavano con te vesti di lusso, mantelli di porpora e di broccato, tappeti tessuti a vari colori, funi ritorte e robuste, sul tuo mercato.
25 The shippes of Tarshish were thy chiefe in thy marchandise, and thou wast replenished and made very glorious in the middes of the sea.
Così divenisti ricca e gloriosa in mezzo ai mari. Le navi di Tarsìs viaggiavano, portando le tue mercanzie.
26 Thy robbers haue brought thee into great waters: the East winde hath broken thee in the middes of the sea.
In alto mare ti condussero i tuoi rematori, ma il vento d'oriente ti ha travolto in mezzo ai mari.
27 Thy riches and thy faires, thy marchandise, thy mariners and pilotes, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy marchandise and al thy men of warre that are in thee, and all thy multitude which is in the middes of thee, shall fall in the middes of the sea in the day of thy ruine.
Le tue ricchezze, i tuoi beni e il tuo traffico, i tuoi marinai e i tuoi piloti, i riparatori delle tue avarie i trafficanti delle tue merci, tutti i guerrieri che sono in te e tutta la turba che è in mezzo a te piomberanno nel fondo dei mari, il giorno della tua caduta.
28 The suburbes shall shake at the sound of the crie of thy pilotes.
All'udire il grido dei tuoi nocchieri tremeranno le spiagge.
29 And all that handle the ore, the mariners and al the pilots of the sea shall come downe from their shippes, and shall stand vpon the land,
Scenderanno dalle loro navi quanti maneggiano il remo: i marinai, e tutti i piloti del mare resteranno a terra.
30 And shall cause their voyce to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast dust vpon their heads, and wallow theselues in the ashes.
Faranno sentire il lamento su di te e grideranno amaramente, si getteranno sulla testa la polvere, si rotoleranno nella cenere;
31 They shall plucke off their heare for thee and gird them with a sackecloth, and they shall weepe for thee with sorow of heart and bitter mourning.
si raderanno i capelli per te e vestiranno di sacco; per te piangeranno nell'amarezza dell'anima con amaro cordoglio.
32 And in their mourning, they shall take vp a lametation for thee, saying, What citie is like Tyrus, so destroied in the middes of the sea!
Nel loro pianto intoneranno su di te un lamento, su di te comporranno elegie: Chi era come Tiro, ora distrutta in mezzo al mare?
33 When thy wares went foorth of the seas, thou filledst many people, and thou diddest enrich the Kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy marchandise.
Quando dai mari uscivano le tue mercanzie, saziavi tanti popoli; con l'abbondanza delle tue ricchezze e del tuo commercio arricchivi i re della terra.
34 When thou shalt be broken by ye seas in the depths of the waters, thy marchandise and all thy multitude, which was in the mids of thee, shall fal.
Ora tu giaci travolta dai flutti nelle profondità delle acque: il tuo carico e tutto il tuo equipaggio sono affondati con te.
35 All the inhabitantes of the yles shall be astonished at thee, and all their Kings shall be sore afraide and troubled in their countenance.
Tutti gli abitanti delle isole sono rimasti spaventati per te e i loro re, colpiti dal terrore, hanno il viso sconvolto.
36 The marchants among the people shall hisse at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt be any more.
I mercanti dei popoli fischiano su di te, tu sei divenuta oggetto di spavento, finita per sempre».
