Ezekiel 24
1 Again in the ninth yeere, in the tenth moneth, in the tenth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lord vnto me, saying,
No nono ano, no décimo mês, aos dez do mês, veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 Sonne of man, write thee the name of the day, euen of this same day: for the King of Babel set himselfe against Ierusalem this same day.
Filho do homem, escreve para ti o nome deste dia, hoje mesmo; [porque] o rei da Babilônia chegou a Jerusalém hoje mesmo.
3 Therefore speake a parable vnto the rebellious house, and say vnto them, Thus sayth the Lord God, Prepare a pot, prepare it, and also powre water into it.
E fala uma parábola à casa rebelde, e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Põe uma panela, põe [-a], e também deita água dentro dela;
4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, euen euery good piece, as the thigh and the shoulder, and fill it with the chiefe bones.
Ajunta seus pedaços [de carne] nela; todos bons pedaços, pernas e espáduas; enche-a dos melhores ossos.
5 Take one of the best sheepe, and burne also the bones vnder it, and make it boyle well, and seethe the bones of it therein,
Toma do melhor do rebanho, e acende também os ossos debaixo dela; faze-a ferver bem; e assim seus ossos serão cozidos dentro dela.
6 Because the Lord God sayth thus, Woe to the bloody citie, euen to the pot, whose skomme is therein, and whose skomme is not gone out of it: bring it out piece by piece: let no lot fall vpon it.
Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ai da cidade sanguinária, cuja sujeira está nela, e cuja sujeira não saiu dela! Tira dela pedaço por pedaço, não caia sorte sobre ela.
7 For her blood is in the middes of her: shee set it vpon an high rocke, and powred it not vpon on the ground to couer it with dust,
Porque seu sangue está em meio dela; sobre uma pedra exposta ela o pôs; não o derramou sobre a terra, para que fosse coberto com pó.
8 That it might cause wrath to arise, and take vengeance: euen I haue set her blood vpon an high rocke that it should not be couered.
Para que eu faça subir a ira, para me vingar, eu pus seu sangue sobre a pedra exposta, para que não seja coberta.
9 Therefore thus saith ye Lord God, Woe to the bloody citie, for I will make ye burning great.
Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ai da cidade sanguinária! Também eu farei uma grande fogueira,
10 Heape on much wood: kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and cast in spice, and let the bones be burnt.
Amontoa lenha, acende o fogo, consome a carne, e a tempera com especiarias; e sejam queimados os ossos;
11 Then set it emptie vpon the coles thereof, that the brasse of it may be hot, and may burne, and that the filthinesse of it may be molten in it, and that the skomme of it may be consumed.
Depois põe [a panela] vazia sobre suas brasas, para que se esquente, e seu cobre queime, e se funda sua imundícia no meio dela, e se consuma sua sujeira.
12 She hath wearied her selfe with lyes, and her great skomme went not out of her: therefore her skomme shall be consumed with fire.
De trabalhos ela [me] cansou, e sua muita sujeira não saiu dela. Sua sujeira [irá] para o fogo.
13 Thou remainest in thy filthines and wickednes: because I would haue purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthines, till I haue caused my wrath to light vpon thee.
Em tua imundícia há obscenidade, porque eu te purifiquei, porém tu não te purificaste; não mais serás purificada de tua imundícia, enquanto eu não fizer repousar minha ira sobre ti.
14 I the Lord haue spoken it: it shall come to passe, and I will doe it: I will not goe backe, neither will I spare, neither will I repent: according to thy wayes, and according to thy workes shall they iudge thee, sayeth the Lord God.
Eu, o SENHOR, falei; virá a acontecer, e o farei. Não me tonarei atrás, não pouparei, nem me arrependerei; conforme teus caminhos e teus atos te julgarão, diz o Senhor DEUS.
15 Also the worde of ye Lord came vnto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
16 Sonne of man beholde, I take away from thee the pleasure of thine eyes with a plague: yet shalt thou neither mourne nor weepe, neither shall thy teares runne downe.
Filho do homem, eis que com um golpe tirarei de ti o desejo de teus olhos; não lamentes, nem chores, nem escorram de ti lágrimas.
17 Cease from sighing: make no mourning for the dead, and binde the tyre of thine head vpon thee, and put on thy shooes vpon thy feete, and couer not thy lips, and eate not the bread of men.
Geme em silêncio, não faças luto pelos mortos; ata teu turbante sobre ti, e põe teus sapatos em teus pés; e não te cubras os lábios, nem comas pão de homens.
18 So I spake vnto the people in the morning, and at euen my wife dyed: and I did in the morning, as I was commanded.
E falei ao povo pela manhã, e minha mulher morreu à tarde; e pela manhã fiz como me fora mandado.
19 And the people said vnto me, Wilt thou not tell vs what these things meane towarde vs that thou doest so?
E o povo me disse: Por acaso não nos farás saber o que [significam] para nós estas coisas que tu estás fazendo?
20 Then I answered them, The worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Então eu lhes disse: A palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
21 Speake vnto the house of Israel, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I will pollute my Sanctuarie, euen the pride of your power, the pleasure of your eyes, and your hearts desire, and your sonnes, and your daughters whom ye haue left, shall fall by the sworde.
Dize à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu profanarei meu santuário, a orgulho de vossa fortaleza, o desejo de vossos olhos, e o agrado de vossas almas; e vossos filhos e vossas filhas que deixastes cairão a espada.
22 And ye shall doe as I haue done: ye shall not couer your lippes, neither shall ye eate the bread of men.
E fareis como eu fiz: não cobrireis vossos lábios, nem comereis pão de homens;
23 And your tyre shalbe vpon your heads, and your shooes vpon your feete: ye shall not mourne nor weepe, but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourne one toward another.
E vossos turbantes estarão sobre vossas cabeças, e vossos sapatos em vossos pés; não lamentareis nem chorareis, em vez disso vos consumireis por causa de vossas maldades, e gemereis uns com outros.
24 Thus Ezekiel is vnto you a signe: according to all that he hath done, ye shall do: and when this commeth, ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
Assim Ezequiel vos será por sinal; conforme tudo o que ele fez, vós fareis. Quando isto acontecer, então sabereis que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.
25 Also, thou sonne of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their power, ye ioy of their honor, ye pleasure of their eyes, and the desire of their heart, their sonnes and their daughters?
E tu, filho do homem, por acaso não será no dia que eu lhes tirar sua fortaleza, o seu belo orgulho, o desejo de seus olhos, e o agrado de suas almas, seus filhos e suas filhas,
26 That he that escapeth in that day, shall come vnto thee to tell thee that which hee hath heard with his eares?
Que no mesmo dia um que tiver escapado virá a ti para trazer as notícias aos teus ouvidos?
27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speake, and be no more dumme, and thou shalt be a signe vnto them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.
Naquele dia tua boca se abrirá para falar com o escapado, e falarás, e não ficarás mais calado; e tu lhes serás por sinal, e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
