Ezekiel 24
1 Again in the ninth yeere, in the tenth moneth, in the tenth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lord vnto me, saying,
E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, no nono anno, no decimo mez, aos dez do mez, dizendo:
2 Sonne of man, write thee the name of the day, euen of this same day: for the King of Babel set himselfe against Ierusalem this same day.
Filho do homem, escreve o nome d'este dia, d'este mesmo dia; porque o rei de Babylonia se achega a Jerusalem n'este mesmo dia.
3 Therefore speake a parable vnto the rebellious house, and say vnto them, Thus sayth the Lord God, Prepare a pot, prepare it, and also powre water into it.
E usa de uma comparação para com a casa rebelde, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Põe a panella ao lume, põe-n'a, e deita-lhe tambem agua dentro.
4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, euen euery good piece, as the thigh and the shoulder, and fill it with the chiefe bones.
Ajunta n'ella os seus pedaços, todos os bons pedaços, as pernas e as espadoas; enche-a de ossos escolhidos.
5 Take one of the best sheepe, and burne also the bones vnder it, and make it boyle well, and seethe the bones of it therein,
Pega no melhor do rebanho, e queima tambem os ossos debaixo d'ella: faze-a ferver bem, e cozam-se dentro d'ella os seus ossos.
6 Because the Lord God sayth thus, Woe to the bloody citie, euen to the pot, whose skomme is therein, and whose skomme is not gone out of it: bring it out piece by piece: let no lot fall vpon it.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ai da cidade sanguinaria, da panella cuja escuma está n'ella, e cuja escuma não saiu d'ella! tira d'ella pedaços a pedaços, não caia sorte sobre ella
7 For her blood is in the middes of her: shee set it vpon an high rocke, and powred it not vpon on the ground to couer it with dust,
Porque o seu sangue está no meio d'ella, sobre uma penha descalvada o poz: não o derramou sobre a terra, para o cobrir com pó.
8 That it might cause wrath to arise, and take vengeance: euen I haue set her blood vpon an high rocke that it should not be couered.
Para que eu faça subir a indignação, para tomar vingança, tambem eu puz o seu sangue n'uma penha descalvada, para que não se encubra.
9 Therefore thus saith ye Lord God, Woe to the bloody citie, for I will make ye burning great.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ai da cidade sanguinaria! tambem eu farei uma grande fogueira.
10 Heape on much wood: kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and cast in spice, and let the bones be burnt.
Amontoa muita lenha, accende o fogo, consome a carne, e tempera-a com especiarias, e ardam os ossos.
11 Then set it emptie vpon the coles thereof, that the brasse of it may be hot, and may burne, and that the filthinesse of it may be molten in it, and that the skomme of it may be consumed.
Então a porás vazia sobre as suas brazas, para que ella aqueça, e se queime a sua ferrugem, e se funda a sua immundicia no meio d'ella, e se consuma a sua escuma.
12 She hath wearied her selfe with lyes, and her great skomme went not out of her: therefore her skomme shall be consumed with fire.
Com vaidades me cançou; e não saiu d'ella a sua muita escuma; ao fogo irá a sua escuma.
13 Thou remainest in thy filthines and wickednes: because I would haue purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthines, till I haue caused my wrath to light vpon thee.
Na immundicia ha infamia, porquanto te purifiquei, e tu não te purificaste; nunca mais serás purificada da tua immundicia, emquanto eu não fizer descançar sobre ti a minha indignação.
14 I the Lord haue spoken it: it shall come to passe, and I will doe it: I will not goe backe, neither will I spare, neither will I repent: according to thy wayes, and according to thy workes shall they iudge thee, sayeth the Lord God.
Eu, o Senhor, o fallei; virá, e o farei: não me tornarei atraz, e não pouparei, nem me arrependerei; conforme os teus caminhos, e conforme os teus tratos, te julgarão, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
15 Also the worde of ye Lord came vnto me, saying,
E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
16 Sonne of man beholde, I take away from thee the pleasure of thine eyes with a plague: yet shalt thou neither mourne nor weepe, neither shall thy teares runne downe.
Filho do homem, eis que tirarei de ti o desejo dos teus olhos d'um golpe, mas não lamentarás, nem chorarás, nem te correrão as lagrimas.
17 Cease from sighing: make no mourning for the dead, and binde the tyre of thine head vpon thee, and put on thy shooes vpon thy feete, and couer not thy lips, and eate not the bread of men.
Refreia-te de gemer, não farás luto por mortos, ata o teu turbante, e mette nos pés os teus sapatos; e não te rebuçarás, e o pão dos homens não comerás
18 So I spake vnto the people in the morning, and at euen my wife dyed: and I did in the morning, as I was commanded.
E fallei ao povo pela manhã, e á tarde morreu minha mulher: e fiz pela manhã como se me deu ordem.
19 And the people said vnto me, Wilt thou not tell vs what these things meane towarde vs that thou doest so?
E o povo me disse: Porventura não nos farás saber o que nos significam estas coisas que tu estás fazendo?
20 Then I answered them, The worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
E eu lhes disse: Veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
21 Speake vnto the house of Israel, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I will pollute my Sanctuarie, euen the pride of your power, the pleasure of your eyes, and your hearts desire, and your sonnes, and your daughters whom ye haue left, shall fall by the sworde.
Dize á casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu profanarei o meu sanctuario, a gloria da vossa fortaleza, o desejo dos vossos olhos, e o regalo das vossas almas; e vossos filhos e vossas filhas, que deixastes, cairão á espada.
22 And ye shall doe as I haue done: ye shall not couer your lippes, neither shall ye eate the bread of men.
E fareis como eu fiz: não vos rebuçareis, e não comereis o pão dos homens.
23 And your tyre shalbe vpon your heads, and your shooes vpon your feete: ye shall not mourne nor weepe, but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourne one toward another.
E tereis nas cabeças os vossos turbantes, e os vossos sapatos nos pés; não lamentareis, nem chorareis, mas definhar-vos-heis nas vossas maldades, e dareis gemidos uns com os outros.
24 Thus Ezekiel is vnto you a signe: according to all that he hath done, ye shall do: and when this commeth, ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
Assim vos servirá Ezequiel de signal; conforme tudo quanto fez fareis: vendo isto, então sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Jehovah.
25 Also, thou sonne of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their power, ye ioy of their honor, ye pleasure of their eyes, and the desire of their heart, their sonnes and their daughters?
E tu, filho do homem, porventura não será no dia que eu lhes tirar a sua fortaleza, o gozo do seu ornamento, o desejo dos seus olhos, e a saudade das suas almas, seus filhos e suas filhas,
26 That he that escapeth in that day, shall come vnto thee to tell thee that which hee hath heard with his eares?
Aquelle dia em que virá ter comtigo algum que escapar, para t'o fazer ouvir com os ouvidos?
27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speake, and be no more dumme, and thou shalt be a signe vnto them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.
N'aquelle dia abrir-se-ha a tua bocca para com aquelle que escapar, e fallarás, e mais não ficarás mudo: assim lhes virás a ser um signal maravilhoso, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
