Ezekiel 24
1 Again in the ninth yeere, in the tenth moneth, in the tenth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lord vnto me, saying,
Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich im neunten Jahr, im zehnten Monat, am zehnten des Monats, folgendermaßen:
2 Sonne of man, write thee the name of the day, euen of this same day: for the King of Babel set himselfe against Ierusalem this same day.
Menschensohn, schreibe dir den Namen des Tages auf, - eben diesen heutigen Tag! An eben diesem heutigen Tag hat sich der König von Babel auf Jerusalem geworfen.
3 Therefore speake a parable vnto the rebellious house, and say vnto them, Thus sayth the Lord God, Prepare a pot, prepare it, and also powre water into it.
Darum sage dem Hause der Widerspenstigkeit ein Gleichnis vor und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Stelle hin den Topf, stelle hin und gieße auch Wasser hinein.
4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, euen euery good piece, as the thigh and the shoulder, and fill it with the chiefe bones.
Thue die Fleischstücke hinein, die hineingehören, allerlei gute Stücke, Lende und Schulter; fülle ihn mit auserlesenen Knochenstücken.
5 Take one of the best sheepe, and burne also the bones vnder it, and make it boyle well, and seethe the bones of it therein,
Nimm sie vom auserlesenen Kleinvieh und schichte auch die Holzscheite darunter auf; laß seine Fleischstücke sieden: schon kochen darin seine Knochenstücke.
6 Because the Lord God sayth thus, Woe to the bloody citie, euen to the pot, whose skomme is therein, and whose skomme is not gone out of it: bring it out piece by piece: let no lot fall vpon it.
Darum spricht der Herr Jahwe also: Wehe, Stadt der Blutschuld, Topf, an dem der Rost sitzt, und von dem der Rost nicht abging; Stück für Stück hat man ihn leer gemacht, ohne daß das Los über sie geworfen ward.
7 For her blood is in the middes of her: shee set it vpon an high rocke, and powred it not vpon on the ground to couer it with dust,
Denn das von ihr vergossene Blut ist noch mitten in ihr; auf den kahlen Felsen hat sie es gethan, hat es nicht auf den Boden gegossen, um Erde darüber zu decken.
8 That it might cause wrath to arise, and take vengeance: euen I haue set her blood vpon an high rocke that it should not be couered.
Um Grimm heraufzuführen, um Rache üben zu können, habe ich das von ihr vergossene Blut auf den kahlen Felsen gethan, damit es nicht zugedeckt würde.
9 Therefore thus saith ye Lord God, Woe to the bloody citie, for I will make ye burning great.
Darum spricht der Herr Jahwe also: Wehe, Stadt der Blutschuld! Ja ich will den Holzstoß machen!
10 Heape on much wood: kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and cast in spice, and let the bones be burnt.
Man schaffe viel Holz herbei, zünde das Feuer an, mache das Fleisch gar, bringe zum Sieden die Brühe, daß die Knochen anbrennen.
11 Then set it emptie vpon the coles thereof, that the brasse of it may be hot, and may burne, and that the filthinesse of it may be molten in it, and that the skomme of it may be consumed.
Dann stelle ihn leer auf seine Kohlen, damit er erhitzt werde, und sein Erz erglühe, und die Unreinigkeit in ihm abschmelze, und sein Rost schwinde.
12 She hath wearied her selfe with lyes, and her great skomme went not out of her: therefore her skomme shall be consumed with fire.
Alles Mühen hat er scheitern lassen, denn der viele Rost ging nicht von ihm ab
13 Thou remainest in thy filthines and wickednes: because I would haue purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthines, till I haue caused my wrath to light vpon thee.
ob deiner unzüchtigen Unreinheit. Weil ich dich zu reinigen gesucht, du aber nicht rein wurdest von deiner Unreinheit, so sollst du auch ferner nicht rein werden, bis ich meinem Grimm an dir Ruhe verschafft habe.
14 I the Lord haue spoken it: it shall come to passe, and I will doe it: I will not goe backe, neither will I spare, neither will I repent: according to thy wayes, and according to thy workes shall they iudge thee, sayeth the Lord God.
Ich, Jahwe, habe es geredet; es kommt und ich führe es aus: ich lasse nichts davon nach, noch übe ich Schonung, noch lasse ich mich's gereuen. Nach deinem Wandel und nach deinen Thaten richtet man dich, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.
15 Also the worde of ye Lord came vnto me, saying,
Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
16 Sonne of man beholde, I take away from thee the pleasure of thine eyes with a plague: yet shalt thou neither mourne nor weepe, neither shall thy teares runne downe.
Menschensohn, ich werde dir deiner Augen Lust durch eine Krankheit hinwegnehmen; aber du sollst nicht klagen noch weinen, noch sollen dir Thränen kommen.
17 Cease from sighing: make no mourning for the dead, and binde the tyre of thine head vpon thee, and put on thy shooes vpon thy feete, and couer not thy lips, and eate not the bread of men.
Seufze still, veranstalte keine Totenklage; binde dir deinen Turban auf, ziehe deine Sandalen an deine Füße; lege keine Hülle über deinen Lippenbart und iß kein Trauerbrot!
18 So I spake vnto the people in the morning, and at euen my wife dyed: and I did in the morning, as I was commanded.
Und ich redete am Morgen zum Volk; am Abend aber starb mein Weib, und ich that am folgenden Morgen, wie mir befohlen war.
19 And the people said vnto me, Wilt thou not tell vs what these things meane towarde vs that thou doest so?
Da sagten die Leute zu mir: Willst du uns nicht erklären, was uns dies soll, daß du so verfährst?
20 Then I answered them, The worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Ich antwortete ihnen: Das Wort Jahwes erging an mich folgendermaßen:
21 Speake vnto the house of Israel, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I will pollute my Sanctuarie, euen the pride of your power, the pleasure of your eyes, and your hearts desire, and your sonnes, and your daughters whom ye haue left, shall fall by the sworde.
Sprich zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Fürwahr, ich werde mein Heiligtum, den Gegenstand eurer stolzen Hoffart, die Lust eurer Augen und das Verlangen eurer Seele, entweihen, und eure Söhne und Töchter, die ihr dort zurückgelassen habt, werden durchs Schwert fallen.
22 And ye shall doe as I haue done: ye shall not couer your lippes, neither shall ye eate the bread of men.
Da werdet ihr dann thun, wie ich gethan habe: ihr werdet keine Hülle über den Lippenbart legen und kein Trauerbrot essen.
23 And your tyre shalbe vpon your heads, and your shooes vpon your feete: ye shall not mourne nor weepe, but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourne one toward another.
Ihr werdet euren Turban auf dem Haupt und eure Sandalen an den Füßen behalten, werdet nicht klagen noch weinen, sondern werdet in euren Sünden dahinschwinden und einer gegen den andern stöhnen.
24 Thus Ezekiel is vnto you a signe: according to all that he hath done, ye shall do: and when this commeth, ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
Und so wird euch Hesekiel zum Wahrzeichen dienen; ganz wie er gethan hat, werdet auch ihr thun, wenn es eintrifft, damit ihr erkennet, daß ich Jahwe bin.
25 Also, thou sonne of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their power, ye ioy of their honor, ye pleasure of their eyes, and the desire of their heart, their sonnes and their daughters?
Du aber, o Menschensohn - wird nicht an dem Tage, da ich ihnen ihr Bollwerk nehmen werde, ihr herrliches Entzücken, die Lust ihrer Augen und das Verlangen ihrer Seele, ihre Söhne und Töchter, -
26 That he that escapeth in that day, shall come vnto thee to tell thee that which hee hath heard with his eares?
an jenem Tage wird ein Flüchtling zu dir kommen, um es euren Ohren zu verkündigen.
27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speake, and be no more dumme, and thou shalt be a signe vnto them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.
An jenem Tage wird dein Mund zugleich mit dem des Flüchtlings aufgethan werden, und du wirst reden und nicht mehr verstummen und du wirst ihnen zum Wahrzeichen dienen, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.
