Ezekiel 23
1 The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
Veiu mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
2 Sonne of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother.
Filho do homem, houve duas mulheres, filhas de uma mãe.
3 And they committed fornication in Egypt, they committed fornication in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teates of their virginitie.
Estas fornicaram no Egypto; na sua mocidade fornicaram; ali foram apertados os seus peitos, e ali foram apalpados os seios da sua virgindade.
4 And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sonnes and daughters: thus were their names. Samaria is Aholah, and Ierusalem Aholibah.
E os seus nomes eram: Ohola, a mais velha, e Oholiba, sua irmã; e foram minhas, e pariram filhos e filhas; e, quanto aos seus nomes, Samaria é Ohola, e Jerusalem é Oholiba.
5 And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine, and she was set on fire with her louers, to wit, with the Assyrians her neighbours,
E fornicou Ohola, sendo minha; e enamorou-se dos seus amantes, dos assyrios, seus visinhos,
6 Which were clothed with blewe silke, both captaines and princes: they were all pleasant yong men, and horsemen riding vpon horses.
Vestidos de azul, prefeitos e magistrados, todos mancebos de cobiçar, cavalleiros montados a cavallo.
7 Thus she committed her whoredome with them, euen with all them that were the chosen men of Asshur, and with all on whome she doted, and defiled her selfe with all their idoles.
Assim commetteu ella as suas fornicações com elles, os quaes todos eram a flôr dos filhos da Assyria, e com todos os de quem se enamorava; com todos os seus idolos se contaminou.
8 Neither left she her fornications, learned of the Egyptians: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginitie, and powred their whoredome vpon her.
E as suas fornicações, que trouxe do Egypto, não as deixou; porque com ella se deitaram na sua mocidade, e elles apalparam os seios da sua virgindade, e derramaram sobre ella a sua fornicação.
9 Wherefore I deliuered her into the hands of her louers, euen into the hands of the Assyrians, vpon whome she doted.
Portanto a entreguei na mão dos seus amantes, na mão dos filhos da Assyria, de quem se enamorara.
10 These discouered her shame: they tooke away her sonnes and her daughters, and slewe her with the sworde, and she had an euill name among women: for they had executed iudgement vpon her.
Estes descobriram a sua vergonha, levaram seus filhos e suas filhas, mas a ella mataram á espada; e foi afamada entre as mulheres, e n'ella exerceram os juizos.
11 And when her sister Aholibah sawe this, she marred her selfe with inordinate loue, more then she, and with her fornications more then her sister with her fornications.
O que vendo sua irmã Oholiba, corrompeu o seu amor mais do que ella, e as suas fornicações mais do que as fornicações de sua irmã
12 She doted vpon the Assyrians her neighbours, both captaines and princes clothed with diuers sutes, horsemen ryding vpon horses: they were all pleasant yong men.
Enamorou-se dos filhos da Assyria, dos prefeitos e dos magistrados seus visinhos, vestidos com primor, cavalleiros que andam montados em cavallos, todos mancebos de cobiçar.
13 Then I sawe that she was defiled, and that they were both after one sort,
E vi que se tinha contaminado; que o caminho de ambas era o mesmo.
14 And that she encreased her fornications: for when she sawe men painted vpon the wall, the images of the Caldeans painted with vermelon,
E augmentou as suas fornicações, porque viu homens pintados na parede, imagens dos chaldeos, pintadas de vermelho;
15 And girded with girdles vpon their loynes, and with dyed attyre vpon their heads (looking all like princes after the maner of the Babylonians in Caldea, the land of their natiuitie)
Cingidos de cinto nos seus lombos, e tiaras largas tingidas nas suas cabeças, todos de parecer de capitães, á similhança dos filhos de Babylonia em Chaldea, terra do seu nascimento.
16 Assoone, I say, as she sawe them, she doted vpon them, and sent messengers vnto them into Caldea.
E se enamorou d'elles, vendo-os com os seus olhos: e lhes mandou mensageiros a Chaldea.
17 Nowe when the Babylonians came to her into the bed of loue, they defiled her with their fornication, and she was polluted with them, and her lust departed from them.
Então vieram a ella os filhos de Babylonia para a cama dos amores, e a contaminaram com as suas fornicações: e ella se contaminou com elles; então apartou-se d'elles a alma d'ella.
18 So she discouered her fornication, and disclosed her shame: then mine heart forsooke her, like as mine heart had forsaken her sister.
Assim descobriu as suas fornicações, e descobriu a sua vergonha: então a minha alma se apartou d'ella, como já se tinha apartado a minha alma de sua irmã.
19 Yet she encreased her whoredome more, and called to remembrance ye dayes of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
Porém multiplicou as suas fornicações, lembrando-se dos dias da sua mocidade, em que fornicara na terra do Egypto.
20 For she doted vpon their seruants whose members are as the members of asses, and whose yssue is like the yssue of horses.
E enamorou-se dos seus amantes, cujas carnes são como carnes de jumentos, e cujo fluxo é como o fluxo de cavallos.
21 Thou calledst to remembrance the wickednes of thy youth, when thy teates were bruised by ye Egyptians: therefore ye paps of thy youth are thus.
Assim trouxeste á memoria a enormidade da tua mocidade, quando os do Egypto apalpavam os teus seios, por causa dos peitos da tua mocidade.
22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus sayeth the Lord God, Beholde, I will raise vp thy louers against thee, from whome thine heart is departed, and I will bring them against thee on euery side,
Por isso, ó Oholiba, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu suscitarei contra ti os teus amantes, dos quaes se tinha apartado a tua alma, e os trarei contra ti de em redor:
23 To wit, the Babylonians, and all the Caldeans, Peked, and Shoah, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: they were all pleasant yong men, captaines and princes: all they were valiant and renoumed, riding vpon horses.
Os filhos de Babylonia, e todos os chaldeos de Pecod, e de Soa, e de Coa, e todos os filhos da Assyria com elles, mancebos de cobiçar, prefeitos e magistrados todos elles, capitães e homens afamados, todos elles montados a cavallo.
24 Euen these shall come against thee with charets, waggons, and wheeles, and with a multitude of people, which shall set against thee, buckler and shield, and helmet round about: and I will leaue the punishment vnto them, and they shall iudge thee according to their iudgements.
E virão contra ti com carros, carretas e rodas, e com ajuntamento de povos; e se porão contra ti em redor com rodelas, e escudos, e capacetes: e porei diante d'elles o juizo, e julgar-te-hão segundo os teus juizos.
25 And I wil lay mine indignation vpon thee, and they shall deale cruelly with thee: they shall cut off thy nose and thine eares, and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall cary away thy sonnes and thy daughters, and thy residue shall be deuoured by the fire.
E porei contra ti o meu zelo, e usarão de indignação comtigo: o nariz e as orelhas te tirarão, e o que te ficar de resto cairá á espada: teus filhos e tuas filhas elles te tomarão, e o que ficar por ultimo em ti será consumido pelo fogo.
26 They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fayre iewels.
Tambem te despirão os teus vestidos, e te tomarão as tuas joias de enfeite.
27 Thus wil I make thy wickednes to cease from thee and thy fornication out of the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift vp thine eyes vnto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
Assim farei cessar em ti a tua enormidade e a tua fornicação da terra do Egypto; e não levantarás os teus olhos para elles, nem te lembrarás mais do Egypto.
28 For thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I wil deliuer thee into the hand of them, whome thou hatest: euen into the hands of them from whome thine heart is departed.
Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu te entregarei na mão dos que aborreces, na mão d'aquelles de quem se tinha apartado a tua alma.
29 And they shall handle thee despitefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leaue thee naked and bare, and the shame of thy fornications shalbe discouered, both thy wickednes, and thy whoredome.
E te tratarão com odio, e levarão todo o teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida: e descobrir-se-ha a vergonha da tua fornicação, e a tua enormidade, e as tuas fornicações.
30 I wil doe these things vnto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idoles.
Estas coisas se te farão, porquanto tu fornicaste após os gentios, e porquanto te contaminaste com os seus idolos.
31 Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister: therefore wil I giue her cup into thine hand.
No caminho de tua irmã andaste; por isso te darei o seu copo na tua mão.
32 Thus saith ye Lord God, Thou shalt drinke of thy sisters cup, deepe and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorne and had in derision, because it containeth much.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Beberás o copo de tua irmã, fundo e largo: servirás de riso e escarneo; elle leva muito.
33 Thou shalt be filled with drunkennes and sorow, euen with the cup of destruction, and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
De embriaguez e de dôr te encherás: o copo de tua irmã Samaria é copo de espanto e de assolação.
34 Thou shalt euen drinke it, and wring it out to the dregges, and thou shalt breake the sheards thereof, and teare thine owne breasts: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.
Bebel-o-has pois, e esgotal-o-has, e os seus cacos roerás, e os teus peitos arrancarás; porque eu o fallei, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
35 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behinde thy backe, therefore thou shalt also beare thy wickednes and thy whoredome.
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto te esqueceste de mim, e me lançaste para traz das tuas costas, leva tu pois tambem a tua enormidade e as tuas fornicações.
36 The Lord sayd moreouer vnto me, Sonne of man, wilt thou iudge Aholah and Aholibah? and wilt thou declare to them their abominations?
E disse-me o Senhor: Filho do homem, porventura julgarias a Ohola e a Oholiba? mostra-lhes pois as suas abominações.
37 For they haue played the whores, and blood is in their hands, and with their idoles haue they committed adulterie, and haue also caused their sonnes, whome they bare vnto me, to passe by the fire to be their meate.
Porque commetteram adulterio, e sangue se acha nas suas mãos, e com os seus idolos commetteram adulterio, e até os seus filhos, que me geraram, fizeram passar pelo fogo por si, para os consumir.
38 Moreouer, thus haue they done vnto me: they haue defiled my Sanctuarie in the same day, and haue prophaned my Sabbaths.
E ainda isto me fizeram: contaminaram o meu sanctuario no mesmo dia, e profanaram os meus sabbados.
39 For when they had slaine their children to their idoles, they came the same day into my Sanctuarie to defile it: and loe, thus haue they done in the middes of mine house.
Porque, havendo sacrificado seus filhos aos seus idolos, vinham ao meu sanctuario no mesmo dia para o profanarem; e eis que assim fizeram no meio da minha casa.
40 And howe much more is it that they sent for men to come from farre vnto whom a messenger was sent, and loe, they came? for whome thou diddest wash thy selfe, and paintedst thine eyes, and deckedst thee with ornaments,
E, o que mais é, enviaram uns homens, que haviam de vir de longe, aos quaes fôra enviado um mensageiro, e eis que vieram, por amor dos quaes te lavaste, coloriste os teus olhos, e te enfeitaste de enfeites.
41 And satest vpon a costly bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oyle.
E te assentaste sobre um leito de honra, diante do qual estava uma mesa preparada: e pozeste sobre ella o meu incenso e o meu oleo.
42 And a voyce of a multitude being at ease, was with her: and with the men to make the company great were brought men of Saba from the wildernes, which put bracelets vpon their hands, and beautifull crownes vpon their heads.
Havia com ella a voz de uma multidão satisfeita, e com varões da classe baixa foram trazidos beberrões do deserto; e pozeram braceletes nas suas mãos, e corôas de esplendor nas suas cabeças.
43 Then I sayd vnto her, that was olde in adulteries, Now shall she and her fornications come to an end.
Então disse á envelhecida em adulterios: Agora devéras fornicarão as suas fornicações, como tambem ella.
44 And they went in vnto her as they goe to a common harlot: so went they to Aholah and Aholibah the wicked women.
E entraram a ella, como quem entra a uma prostituta: assim entraram a Ohola e a Oholiba, mulheres infames.
45 And ye righteous men they shall iudge them, after the maner of harlots, and after the maner of murtherers: for they are harlots, and blood is in their hands.
De maneira que homens justos elles as julgarão conforme o juizo das adulteras, e conforme o juizo das que derramam o sangue; porque adulteras são, e sangue ha nas suas mãos.
46 Wherefore thus sayth the Lord God, I will bring a multitude vpon them, and will giue them vnto the tumult, and to the spoyle,
Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Farei subir contra ellas uma congregação, e as entregarei ao desterro e ao roubo.
47 And the multitude shall stone them with stones, and cut them with their swordes: they shall slay their sonnes, and their daughters, and burne vp their houses with fire.
E a congregação as apedrejará com pedras, e as acutilarão com as suas espadas: a seus filhos e a suas filhas matarão, e as suas casas queimarão a fogo.
48 Thus will I cause wickednesse to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to doe after your wickednesse.
Assim farei cessar a infamia da terra, para que se escarmentem todas as mulheres, e não façam conforme a vossa infamia.
49 And they shall laye your wickednesse vpon you, and ye shall beare the sinnes of your idoles, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord God.
E a vossa infamia carregarão sobre vós, e levareis os peccados dos vossos idolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Jehovah.
