Ezekiel 2
1 And he said vnto me, Sonne of man, stand vp vpon thy feete, and I wil speake vnto thee.
Telle fut la vision de l’image de la gloire du Seigneur; et je vis; et je tombai sur ma face, et j’entendis la voix de quelqu’un parlant. Et il me dit: Fils d’un homme, tiens-toi sur tes pieds, et je te parlerai.
2 And the Spirite entred into me, when he had spoken vnto me, and set me vpon my feete, so that I heard him that spake vnto me.
Et il entra en moi un esprit, après que le Seigneur m’eut parlé, et il m’établit sur mes pieds; et j’entendis quelqu’un me parlant,
3 And he said vnto me, Sonne of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: for they and their fathers haue rebelled against me, euen vnto this very day.
Et disant: Fils d’un homme, moi je t’envoie vers les fils d’Israël, vers ces nations apostates qui se sont retirées de moi; eux et leurs pères ont violé mon alliance jusqu’à ce jour.
4 For they are impudent children, and stiffe hearted: I do send thee vnto them, and thou shalt say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God.
Et ce sont des enfants à la face dure, au cœur indomptable, ceux auxquels moi je t’envoie; et tu leur diras: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu:
5 But surely they will not heare, neither in deede will they cease: for they are a rebellious house: yet shall they knowe that there hath bene a Prophet among them.
Pour voir si par hasard ils écouteront, et si par hasard ils y manqueront; parce que c’est une maison qui m’exaspère; et ils sauront qu’un prophète a été au milieu d’eux.
6 And thou sonne of man, feare them not, neither be afraide of their wordes, although rebels, and thornes be with thee, and thou remainest with scorpions: feare not their wordes, nor be afrayde at their lookes, for they are a rebellious house.
Toi donc, fils d’un homme, ne les crains point, n’appréhende pas leurs discours, parce que des incrédules et des destructeurs sont avec toi, et que tu habites avec des scorpions; ne crains pas leurs paroles, n’aie pas peur de leurs visages; parce que c’est une maison qui m’exaspère.
7 Therefore thou shalt speake my words vnto them: but surely they will not heare, neither will they in deede cease: for they are rebellious.
Tu leur diras donc mes paroles, pour voir si par hasard ils écouteront, et s’ils y manqueront, parce qu’ils m’irritent sans cesse.
8 But thou sonne of man, heare what I say vnto thee: be not thou rebellious, like this rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eate that I giue thee.
Mais toi, fils d’un homme, écoute tout ce que je te dis; ne m’exaspère pas comme cette nation m’exaspère sans cesse; ouvre la bouche et mange tout ce que moi je te donne.
9 And when I looked vp, beholde, an hande was sent vnto me, and loe, a roule of a booke was therein.
Et je vis, et voilà que fut envoyée vers moi une main dans laquelle était un livre roulé; et elle déploya devant moi ce livre qui était écrit au dedans et au dehors; et là étaient écrites des lamentations, un chant et malheur.
10 And he spred it before me, and it was written within and without, and there was written therein, Lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
