Ezekiel 16
1 Again, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
൧യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 Sonne of man, cause Ierusalem to knowe her abominations,
൨“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യെരൂശലേമിനോട് അതിന്റെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളെ അറിയിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടത്:
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God vnto Ierusalem, Thine habitation and thy kindred is of the land of Canaan: thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
൩യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് യെരൂശലേമിനോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘നിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവവും ജനനവും കനാൻദേശത്താകുന്നു; നിന്റെ അപ്പൻ അമോര്യനും അമ്മ ഹിത്യസ്ത്രീയും അത്രേ.
4 And in thy natiuitie whe thou wast borne, thy nauell was not cut: thou wast not washed in water to soften thee: thou wast not salted with salt, nor swadled in cloutes.
൪നിന്റെ ജനനവസ്തുതയോ - ജനിച്ചനാളിൽ നിന്റെ പൊക്കിൾക്കൊടി മുറിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല; നിന്നെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിപ്പിച്ച് വെടിപ്പാക്കിയില്ല; ഉപ്പ് തേച്ചിരുന്നില്ല, തുണി ചുറ്റിയതുമില്ല.
5 None eye pitied thee to do any of these vnto thee, for to haue compassion vpon thee, but thou wast cast out in the open fielde to the contempt of thy person in ye day that thou wast borne.
൫നിന്നോട് മനസ്സലിവു തോന്നിയിട്ട് ഇവയിൽ ഒന്നെങ്കിലും നിനക്ക് ചെയ്തുതരുവാൻ ഒരു കണ്ണിനും നിന്നോട് കനിവുണ്ടായില്ല; നീ ജനിച്ചനാളിൽ തന്നെ അവർക്ക് നിന്നോട് വെറുപ്പുതോന്നിയതുകൊണ്ട് നിന്നെ വെളിമ്പ്രദേശത്ത് ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
6 And when I passed by thee, I saw thee polluted in thine owne blood, and I said vnto thee, whe thou wast in thy blood, Thou shalt liue: euen when thou wast in thy blood, I saide vnto thee, Thou shalt liue.
൬എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സമീപത്ത് കൂടി കടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ നീ രക്തത്തിൽ കിടന്നുരുളുന്നതു കണ്ട് നിന്നോട്: “നീ രക്തത്തിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ജീവിക്കുക” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു; “അതേ, നീ രക്തത്തിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ജീവിക്കുക” എന്ന് ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് കല്പിച്ചു.
7 I haue caused thee to multiplie as the bud of the fielde, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou hast gotten excellent ornaments: thy breastes are facioned, thine heare is growen, where as thou wast naked and bare.
൭വയലിലെ സസ്യംപോലെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നീ വളർന്നു വലിയവളായി അതിസൗന്ദര്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു; നിനക്ക് ഉന്നതസ്തനവും ദീർഘകേശവും ഉണ്ടായി; എങ്കിലും നീ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആയിരുന്നു.
8 Nowe when I passed by thee, and looked vpon thee, beholde, thy time was as the time of loue, and I spred my skirtes ouer thee, and couered thy filthines: yea, I sware vnto thee, and entred into a couenant with thee, saith the Lord God, and thou becamest mine.
൮ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അരികിൽ കൂടി കടന്ന് നിന്നെ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ നിനക്ക് പ്രേമത്തിന്റെ സമയമായി എന്നു മനസ്സിലാക്കി, എന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നിന്റെമേൽ വിരിച്ച് നിന്റെ നഗ്നത മറച്ചു; ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് സത്യവും നിയമവും ചെയ്ത് നീ എനിക്കുള്ളവൾ ആയിത്തീർന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
9 Then washed I thee with water: yea, I washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oyle.
൯പിന്നെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിപ്പിച്ച്, രക്തം കഴുകിക്കളഞ്ഞ് എണ്ണപൂശി.
10 I clothed thee also with broydred worke, and shod thee with badgers skin: and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I couered thee with silke.
൧൦ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ച്, തഹശുതോൽകൊണ്ടുള്ള ചെരിപ്പിടുവിച്ചു; ശണപടംകൊണ്ടു ചുറ്റി പട്ട് പുതപ്പിച്ചു.
11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets vpon thine handes, and a chaine on thy necke.
൧൧ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ആഭരണം അണിയിച്ച് നിന്റെ കൈയ്ക്ക് വളയും കഴുത്തിൽ മാലയും ഇട്ടു.
12 And I put a frontlet vpon thy face, and earings in thine eares, and a beautifull crowne vpon thine head.
൧൨ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മൂക്കിനു മൂക്കുത്തിയും കാതിൽ കുണുക്കും ഇട്ട്, തലയിൽ ഭംഗിയുള്ള ഒരു കിരീടവും വച്ചു.
13 Thus wast thou deckt with gold and siluer, and thy rayment was of fine linen, and silke, and broydred worke: thou didest eate fine floure, and honie and oyle, and thou wast very beautifull, and thou didest grow vp into a kingdome.
൧൩ഇങ്ങനെ നീ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും അണിഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ ഉടുപ്പ് ശണപടവും പട്ടും വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രവും ആയിരുന്നു; നീ നേരിയമാവും തേനും എണ്ണയും ഭക്ഷിച്ച് ഏറ്റവും സൗന്ദര്യമുള്ളവളായിത്തീർന്നു; നീ രാജത്വവും പ്രാപിച്ചു.
14 And thy name was spred among the heathen for thy beautie: for it was perfite through my beautie which I had set vpon thee, saith the Lord God.
൧൪ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അണിയിച്ച അലങ്കാരംകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യം പരിപൂർണ്ണമായതിനാൽ നിന്റെ കീർത്തി ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പരന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
15 Nowe thou didest trust in thine owne beautie, and playedst the harlot, because of thy renowne, and hast powred out thy fornications on euery one that passed by, thy desire was to him.
൧൫“എന്നാൽ നീ നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ച്, നിന്റെ കീർത്തി ഹേതുവായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരോടും ഒപ്പം പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.
16 And thou didest take thy garments, and deckedst thine hie places with diuers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like thinges shall not come, neither hath any done so.
൧൬നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളിൽ ചിലതു നീ എടുത്ത്, പല നിറത്തിൽ പൂജാഗിരികളെ തീർത്ത്, അലങ്കരിച്ച്, അവയുടെമേൽ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; ഇത് ഒരിടത്തും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, സംഭവിക്കുകയും ഇല്ല.
17 Thou hast also taken thy faire iewels made of my golde and of my siluer, which I had giuen thee, and madest to thy selfe images of men, and didest commit whoredome with them,
൧൭ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് തന്ന പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും കൊണ്ടുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങൾ നീ എടുത്ത്, പുരുഷരൂപങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവയോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.
18 And tookest thy broydred garments, and coueredst them: and thou hast set mine oyle and my perfume before them.
൧൮നിന്റെ വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ നീ എടുത്ത് അവയെ പുതപ്പിച്ച്, എന്റെ എണ്ണയും കുന്തുരുക്കവും അവയുടെ മുമ്പിൽവച്ചു.
19 My meate also, which I gaue thee, as fine floure, oyle, and honie, wherewith I fedde thee, thou hast euen set it before them for a sweete sauour: thus it was, saith the Lord God.
൧൯ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് തന്ന ആഹാരമായി, നിന്റെ പോഷണത്തിനുള്ള നേരിയമാവും എണ്ണയും തേനും നീ അവയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ സൗരഭ്യവാസനയായി നിവേദിച്ചു; ഇങ്ങനെയാണ് സംഭവിച്ചത്” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
20 Moreouer thou hast taken thy sonnes and thy daughters, whome thou hast borne vnto me, and these hast thou sacrificed vnto them, to be deuoured: is this thy whoredome a small matter?
൨൦“നീ എനിക്ക് പ്രസവിച്ച നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും നീ എടുത്ത് അവയ്ക്കു ഭോജനബലിയായി അർപ്പിച്ചു.
21 That thou hast slaine my children, and deliuered them to cause them to passe through fire for them?
൨൧നിന്റെ പരസംഗം പോരാഞ്ഞിട്ടോ നീ എന്റെ മക്കളെ അറുത്ത് അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ച് അവയ്ക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തത്?
22 And in all thine abominations and whoredomes thou hast not remembred the dayes of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
൨൨എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളിലും പരസംഗങ്ങളിലും നീ മുമ്പ് നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആയി രക്തത്തിൽ കിടന്നുരുണ്ട നിന്റെ യൗവനകാലം ഓർത്തില്ല.
23 And beside all thy wickednes (wo, wo vnto thee, saith the Lord God)
൨൩നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയെല്ലാം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചശേഷം - ‘നിനക്ക് കഷ്ടം, കഷ്ടം!” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട് -
24 Thou hast also built vnto thee an hie place, and hast made thee an hie place in euery streete.
൨൪“നീ ഒരു കമാനം പണിത്, സകലവീഥിയിലും ഓരോ പൂജാഗിരി ഉണ്ടാക്കി.
25 Thou hast built thine hie place at euery corner of the way, and hast made thy beautie to be abhorred: thou hast opened thy feete to euery one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredome.
൨൫എല്ലാ വഴിത്തലക്കലും പൂജാഗിരി പണിത്, നീ നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തെ വഷളാക്കി, വഴിപോകുന്ന ഏവനും നിന്റെ കാലുകൾ അകത്തി നിന്റെ പരസംഗം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.
26 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, which haue great members, and hast encreased thy whoredome, to prouoke me.
൨൬മാംസപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള ഈജിപ്റ്റ്നിവാസികളായ നിന്റെ അയല്ക്കാരോടും നീ പരസംഗം ചെയ്ത്, എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന് നിന്റെ പരസംഗം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.
27 Beholde, therefore I did stretche out mine hand ouer thee, and will diminish thine ordinarie, and deliuer thee vnto the will of them that hate thee, euen to the daughters of the Philistims, which are ashamed of thy wicked way.
൨൭അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നിന്റെനേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, നിന്റെ നിത്യച്ചെലവു കുറച്ച്, നിന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുകയും നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഫെലിസ്ത്യപുത്രിമാരുടെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിനു നിന്നെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.
28 Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast insaciable: yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.
൨൮നീ തൃപ്തി വരാത്തവളാകയാൽ അശ്ശൂര്യരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവരുമായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്തിട്ടും നിനക്ക് തൃപ്തി വന്നില്ല.
29 Thou hast moreouer multiplied thy fornication from the land of Canaan vnto Caldea, and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.
൨൯നീ കനാൻദേശത്തും കല്ദയദേശംവരെയും നിന്റെ പരസംഗം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടും നിനക്ക് തൃപ്തി വന്നില്ല.
30 Howe weake is thine heart, saith the Lord God, seeing thou doest all these thinges, euen the worke of a presumptuous whorish woman?
൩൦നാണംകെട്ട വേശ്യയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയായിരിക്കുന്ന ഇതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്തതിൽ, നീ എല്ലാ വഴിത്തലക്കലും കമാനം പണിത്, സകലവീഥിയിലും പൂജാഗിരി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതിൽ,
31 In that thou buildest thine hie place in the corner of euery way, and makest thine hie place in euery streete, and hast not bene as an harlot that despiseth a reward,
൩൧നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം എത്ര വഷളത്വം പൂണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “നീ കൂലി നിരസിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് വേശ്യയെപ്പോലെയല്ല.
32 But as a wife that playeth the harlot, and taketh others for her husband:
൩൨ഭർത്താവിനു പകരം അന്യന്മാരെ സ്വീകരിച്ച് വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീയേ!
33 They giue giftes to all other whores, but thou giuest giftes vnto all thy louers, and rewardest them, that they may come vnto thee on euery side for thy fornication.
൩൩സകലവേശ്യാസ്ത്രീകളും സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങുന്നു; നീയോ നിന്റെ സകലജാരന്മാർക്കും സമ്മാനം നല്കുകയും നീയുമായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് നാലുപുറത്തുനിന്നും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവാൻ അവർക്ക് കൈക്കൂലി കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy fornications, neither the like fornication shall be after thee: for in that thou giuest a rewarde, and no reward is giuen vnto thee, therefore thou art contrary.
൩൪നിന്റെ പരസംഗത്തിൽ നിനക്ക് മറ്റു സ്ത്രീകളുമായി ഒരു വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ട്; നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പരസംഗത്തിന് ആരും വരുന്നില്ല; നീ സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങുകയല്ല, സമ്മാനം കൊടുക്കുകയാകുന്നു ചെയ്യുന്നത്; അതിലാകുന്നു വ്യത്യാസം ഉള്ളത്.
35 Wherefore, O harlot, heare the worde of the Lord.
൩൫ആകയാൽ വേശ്യാസ്ത്രീയേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്കുക.
36 Thus sayeth the Lord God, Because thy shame was powred out, and thy filthinesse discouered through thy fornications with thy louers, and with all the idoles of thine abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didest offer vnto them,
൩൬യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ജാരന്മാരുമായുള്ള നിന്റെ പരസംഗങ്ങളാൽ നിന്റെ പണം ചെലവഴിക്കുകയും നിന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാകുകയും ചെയ്യുകകൊണ്ട്, നിന്റെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളും നിമിത്തവും നീ അവയ്ക്കു കൊടുത്ത നിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ രക്തംനിമിത്തവും
37 Beholde, therefore I wil gather all thy louers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loued, with al them that thou hast hated: I will euen gather them round about against thee, and will discouer thy filthines vnto them, that they may see all thy filthines.
൩൭നീ രമിച്ച നിന്റെ സകലജാരന്മാരെയും നീ സ്നേഹിച്ച ഏവരെയും നീ പകച്ച ഏവരെയും ഞാൻ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തും; ഞാൻ അവരെ നിനക്ക് വിരോധമായി ചുറ്റും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി, അവർ നിന്റെ നഗ്നത കാണത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ നഗ്നത അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ അനാവൃതമാക്കും.
38 And I wil iudge thee after ye maner of them that are harlots, and of them that shead blood, and I wil giue thee the blood of wrath and ielousie.
൩൮വ്യഭിചരിക്കുകയും രക്തം ചൊരിയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളെ വിധിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ന്യായംവിധിച്ച് ക്രോധത്തിന്റെയും ജാരശങ്കയുടെയും രക്തം നിന്റെമേൽ ചൊരിയും.
39 I will also giue thee into their handes, and they shall destroy thine hie place, and shall breake downe thine hie places. they shall strippe thee also out of thy clothes, and shall take thy faire iewels, and leaue thee naked and bare.
൩൯ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവർ നിന്റെ കമാനം പൊളിച്ച്, നിന്റെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും; അവർ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം അഴിച്ച് ആഭരണങ്ങൾ എടുത്ത്, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും.
40 They shall also bring vp a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swordes.
൪൦അവർ നിനക്ക് വിരോധമായി ഒരു സഭയെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി നിന്നെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞ് വാൾകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും.
41 And they shall burne vp thine houses with fire, and execute iudgements vpon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt giue no reward any more.
൪൧അവർ നിന്റെ വീടുകളെ തീവച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും; അനേകം സ്ത്രീകളുടെ കണ്മുമ്പിൽ നിന്റെമേൽ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; നിന്റെ പരസംഗം ഞാൻ നിർത്തലാക്കും; നീ ഇനി ആർക്കും കൂലി കൊടുക്കുകയില്ല.
42 So will I make my wrath towarde thee to rest, and my ielousie shall depart from thee, and I will cease and be no more angrie.
൪൨ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്നിൽ നിവർത്തിച്ചിട്ട് എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത നിന്നെ വിട്ടുമാറും; പിന്നെ ഞാൻ കോപിക്കാതെ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കും.
43 Because thou hast not remembred the dayes of thy youth, but hast prouoked me with all these things, behold, therefore I also haue brought thy way vpon thine head, sayeth the Lord God: yet hast not thou had consideration of all thine abominations.
൪൩നീ നിന്റെ യൗവനകാലം ഓർക്കാതെ ഇവയാൽ ഒക്കെയും എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട്, ഞാനും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിനു തക്കവണ്ണം നിനക്ക് പകരം ചെയ്യും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “നിന്റെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകൾക്കും പുറമെ നീ ഈ ദുഷ്കർമ്മവും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലയോ.
44 Beholde, all that vse prouerbes, shall vse this prouerbe against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
൪൪പഴഞ്ചൊല്ല് പറയുന്നവനെല്ലാം: “യഥാമാതാതഥാപുത്രീ” എന്നുള്ള പഴഞ്ചൊല്ല് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയും.
45 Thou art thy mothers daughter, that hath cast off her husband and her children, and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which forsooke their husbands and their children: your mother is an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
൪൫നീ ഭർത്താവിനെയും മക്കളെയും വെറുക്കുന്ന അമ്മയുടെ മകളും, ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരെയും മക്കളെയും വെറുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന സഹോദരിമാർക്കു നീ സഹോദരിയുമാകുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മ ഹിത്യസ്ത്രീയും അപ്പൻ അമോര്യനും ആയിരുന്നു.
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, and her daughters, that dwell at thy left hand, and thy yong sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom, and her daughters.
൪൬നിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠത്തി നിന്റെ ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്ത് തന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുമായി പാർക്കുന്ന ശമര്യ; നിന്റെ അനുജത്തി നിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് തന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുമായി പാർക്കുന്ന സൊദോം.
47 Yet hast thou not walked after their wayes, nor done after their abominations: but as it had bene a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more then they in all thy wayes.
൪൭നീ അവരുടെ വഴികളിൽ നടന്നില്ല; അവരുടെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾപോലെ ചെയ്തില്ല; അത് പോരാ എന്നുവച്ച് നീ നിന്റെ എല്ലാ വഴികളിലും അവരെക്കാൾ അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.
48 As I liue, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister hath not done, neither shee nor her daughters, as thou hast done and thy daughters.
൪൮എന്നാണ, നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
49 Beholde, this was the iniquitie of thy sister Sodom, Pride, fulnesse of bread, and aboundance of idlenesse was in her, and in her daughters: neither did shee strengthen the hande of the poore and needie.
൪൯“നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമിന്റെ അകൃത്യമോ: ഗർവ്വവും അമിതഭക്ഷണവും അലസജീവിതവും തന്നെ. അത് അവൾക്കും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാർക്കും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും അവൾ സഹായിച്ചതുമില്ല.
50 But they were hautie, and committed abomination before mee: therefore I tooke them away, as pleased me.
൫൦അവർ അഹങ്കാരികളായി എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ മ്ലേച്ഛത ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് ബോധിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
51 Neither hath Samaria committed halfe of thy sinnes, but thou hast exceeded them in thine abominations, and hast iustified thy sisters in all thine abominations, which thou hast done.
൫൧ശമര്യയും, നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ പകുതിയോളം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; നീ അവരെക്കാൾ നിന്റെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ച്, നീ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളാലും നിന്റെ സഹോദരിമാരെ നീതീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
52 Therefore thou which hast iustified thy sisters, beare thine owne shame for thy sinnes, that thou hast committed more abominable then they which are more righteous then thou art: be thou therefore confounded also, and beare thy shame, seeing that thou hast iustified thy sisters.
൫൨സഹോദരിമാരെ ന്യായം വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നീയും നിന്റെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കുക; നീ അവരെക്കാൾ അധികം മ്ലേച്ഛമായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളാൽ അവർ നിന്നെക്കാൾ നീതിയുള്ളവരല്ലയോ; അതേ, നീ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിമാരെ നീതീകരിച്ചതിൽ, നാണിച്ച് നിന്റെ ലജ്ജ വഹിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക.
53 Therefore I will bring againe their captiuitie with the captiuitie of Sodom, and her daughters, and with the captiuitie of Samaria, and her daughters: euen the captiuitie of thy captiues in the middes of them,
൫൩നീ അവർക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായി നിന്റെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കേണ്ടതിനും നീ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിനെയും കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിനും
54 That thou mayest beare thine owne shame, and mayest bee confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou hast comforted them.
൫൪ഞാൻ സൊദോമിന്റെയും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെയും സ്ഥിതിയും ശമര്യയുടെയും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെയും സ്ഥിതിയും അവരുടെ നടുവിൽ ഉള്ള നിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളുടെ സ്ഥിതിയും മാറ്റും.
55 And thy sister Sodom and her daughters shall returne to their former state: Samaria also and her daughters shall returne to their former state, when thou and thy daughters shall returne to your former state.
൫൫നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരും അവരുടെ പൂർവ്വാവസ്ഥയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; ശമര്യയും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരും അവരുടെ പൂർവ്വാവസ്ഥയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവ്വാവസ്ഥയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും.
56 For thy sister Sodom was not heard of by thy report in the day of thy pride,
൫൬അരാമിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും അവളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരെല്ലാം നിന്റെ ചുറ്റും നിന്ന് നിന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ഫെലിസ്ത്യപുത്രിമാരും നിന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ച കാലത്ത് എന്നപോലെ നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത വെളിപ്പെടുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ്
57 Before thy wickednes was discouered, as in that same time of the reproch of the daughters of Aram, and of all the daughters of the Philistims round about her which despise thee on all sides.
൫൭നിന്റെ ഗർവ്വത്തിന്റെ നാളിൽ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമിന്റെ പേരുപോലും നീ ഉച്ചരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
58 Thou hast borne therefore thy wickednesse and thine abomination, saith the Lord.
൫൮നിന്റെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മവും നിന്റെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളും നീ വഹിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
59 For thus saith the Lord God, I might euen deale with thee, as thou hast done: when thou didest despise the othe, in breaking the couenant.
൫൯യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നിയമം ലംഘിച്ച് സത്യം തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്ന നീ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടും ചെയ്യും.
60 Neuerthelesse, I wil remember my couenant made with thee in ye dayes of thy youth, and I wil confirme vnto thee an euerlasting couenant.
൬൦എങ്കിലും നിന്റെ യൗവനകാലത്ത് നിന്നോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ഞാൻ ഓർത്ത് ഒരു ശാശ്വതനിയമം നിന്നോട് ചെയ്യും.
61 Then thou shalt remember thy wayes, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receiue thy sisters, both thy elder and thy yonger, and I will giue them vnto thee for daughters, but not by thy couenat.
൬൧നിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠത്തിമാരും അനുജത്തിമാരുമായ സഹോദരിമാരെ നീ കൈക്കൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ, അന്ന് നീ നിന്റെ വഴികളെ ഓർത്തു ലജ്ജിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ നിനക്ക് പുത്രിമാരായി തരും; നിന്റെ നിയമപ്രകാരമല്ലതാനും.
62 And I wil establish my couenant with thee, and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord,
൬൨നീ ചെയ്തതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് ക്ഷമിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീ ഓർത്ത് ലജ്ജിച്ച് നാണം നിമിത്തം ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും വായ് തുറക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്
63 That thou mayest remember, and be ashamed, and neuer open thy mouth any more: because of thy shame when I am pacified toward thee, for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord God.
൬൩ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് എന്റെ നിയമം ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് നീ അറിയും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
