Ezekiel 15

1 And thee word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା,

2 Sonne of man, what commeth of the vine tree aboue all other trees? and of the vine braunch, which is among the trees of ye forest?

“ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାର ଗଛ, ବନସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସ୍ଥିତ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାର ଶାଖା, ଅନ୍ୟ ସକଳ ଗଛ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କାହିଁରେ ଅଧିକ?

3 Shall wood bee taken thereof to doe any worke? or wil men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?

କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ କି ତହିଁରୁ କାଠ ନିଆଯିବ? ଅବା କୌଣସି ପାତ୍ର ଟଙ୍ଗାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ କି ଲୋକେ ତହିଁରୁ ମେଖ କରିବେ?

4 Behold, it is cast in the fire to be consumed: the fire consumeth both the endes of it, and the middes of it is burnt. Is it meete for any worke?

ଦେଖ, ଜାଳ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ତାହା ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ପକାଗଲା; ଅଗ୍ନି ତାହାର ଦୁଇ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା ଓ ତହିଁର ମଧ୍ୟଭାଗ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେଲା ତାହା କି କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ଆସିବ?

5 Behold, when it was whole, it was meete for no worke: how much lesse shall it bee meete for any worke, when the fire hath consumed it, and it is burnt?

ଦେଖ, ଅବିକଳ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ତାହା କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୋହିଲା; ଅଗ୍ନି ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଓ ତାହା ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତାହା କି କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଅଧିକ ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୋହିବ?

6 Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, As the vine tree, that is among the trees of the forest, which I haue giuen to the fire to be consumed, so will I giue the inhabitants of Ierusalem.

ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ବନସ୍ଥ ଗଛସବୁର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥିତ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାକୁ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଜାଳ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ନିରୂପଣ କରିଅଛୁ, ସେହିପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିରୂପଣ କରିବା।

7 And I will set my face against them: they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall consume them: and ye shall know, that I am the Lord, when I set my face against them,

ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ରଖିବା, ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନିରୁ ବାହାରି ଯିବେ, ମାତ୍ର ଅଗ୍ନି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ରଖିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିବ।

8 And when I make the lande waste, because they haue greatly offended, saith the Lord God.

ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦେଶକୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସର ସ୍ଥାନ କରିବା, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ସତ୍ୟ-ଲଙ୍ଘନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”
