Ezekiel 14
1 Then came certaine of the Elders of Israel vnto me, and sate before me.
இஸ்ரயேலின் முதியவர்கள் சிலர் எனக்கு முன்பாக வந்து அமர்ந்தார்கள்.
2 And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது,
3 Sonne of man, these men haue set vp their idoles in their heart, and put the stumbling blocke of their iniquitie before their face: should I, being required, answere them?
“மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த மனிதர் தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் விக்கிரகங்களை வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். தங்களை அக்கிரமத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும் காரியங்களைத் தங்கள் கண்முன் வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். இப்படியானவர்கள் என்னிடம் விசாரணை செய்ய நான் இடமளிக்க வேண்டுமோ?
4 Therefore speake vnto them, and say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God, Euery man of the house of Israel that setteth vp his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling blocke of his iniquitie before his face, and commeth to the Prophet, I the Lord will answere him that commeth, according to the multitude of his idoles:
ஆகையால் நீ அவர்களோடு பேசிச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: எந்தவொரு இஸ்ரயேலனாவது, தன் இருதயத்தில் விக்கிரகங்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டவனாய், தங்களை அக்கிரமத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும் காரியங்களைத் தங்கள் கண்முன் வைத்துக்கொண்டு இறைவாக்கினன் ஒருவனிடம்போனால், யெகோவாவாகிய நான் அவனுடைய பெரும் விக்கிரக ஆராதனைக்கு ஏற்பவே பதிலளிப்பேன்.
5 That I may take the house of Israel in their owne heart, because they are all departed from me through their idoles.
தங்களுடைய விக்கிரகங்களின் நிமித்தம், என்னைவிட்டு விலகிப்போன இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களின் இருதயங்களை மீண்டும் நான் என் பக்கம் திருப்புவதற்காக இவ்வாறு செய்வேன்.’
6 Therfore say vnto the house of Israel, Thus sayth the Lord God, Returne, and withdraw your selues, and turne your faces from your idoles, and turne your faces from all your abominations.
“ஆதலால் நீ இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரிடம் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. மனந்திரும்புங்கள்; உங்கள் விக்கிரங்களை விட்டுத் திரும்புங்கள். எல்லா அருவருப்பான பழக்கவழக்கங்களைவிட்டு உங்கள் முகத்தைத் திருப்புங்கள்.
7 For euery one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that soiourneth in Israel, which departeth from mee, and setteth vp his idoles in his heart, and putteth the stumbling blocke of his iniquitie before his face, and commeth to a Prophet, for to inquire of him for me, I the Lord will answere him for my selfe,
“‘இஸ்ரயேலனாவது, இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டில் வாழும் பிறநாட்டானாவது என்னைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்து, தன் இருதயத்தில் விக்கிரகங்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டும், தங்களை அக்கிரமத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தும் காரியங்களைத் தங்கள் முன் வைத்துக்கொண்டும் என்னிடம் விசாரிப்பதற்காக இறைவாக்கினரிடம் போவானானால், யெகோவாவாகிய நானே அவனுக்குப் பதிலளிப்பேன்.
8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him an example and prouerbe, and I will cut him off from the middes of my people, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.
நான் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக என் முகத்தைத் திருப்பி, அவனை ஒரு உதாரணமாகவும் ஒரு பழமொழியாகவும் வைத்து, அவனை என் மக்களிலிருந்து முற்றிலும் அகற்றிவிடுவேன். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.
9 And if the Prophet be deceiued, when hee hath spoken a thing, I the Lord haue deceiued that Prophet, and I will stretch out mine hande vpon him, and will destroy him from the middes of my people of Israel.
“‘ஆனால் அப்படி ஆலோசனை கேட்கும்போது தீர்க்கதரிசி ஒருவன் ஏமாந்து, பொய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்வதற்குத் துணிவுகொண்டால், யெகோவாவாகிய நானே அவனை அவ்வாறான துணிகரத்திற்குட்படுத்தினேன். அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக என் கரத்தை நீட்டி, இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் மத்தியிலிருந்து அவனை அழிப்பேன்.
10 And they shall beare their punishment: the punishment of the Prophet shall bee euen as the punishment of him that asketh,
அவர்கள் தங்கள் குற்றத்தைச் சுமப்பார்கள். தீர்க்கதரிசி குற்றவாளியாயிருப்பது போலவே, அவனிடம் ஆலோசனை கேட்க வந்தவனும் குற்றவாளி. ஆகவே நான் அவர்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன்.
11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from mee, neither bee polluted any more with all their transgressions, but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, sayth the Lord God.
அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் இனியொருபோதும் என்னைவிட்டு வழிதவறிப் போகமாட்டார்கள். பாவங்களினால் தங்களைக் கறைப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவும் மாட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் என் மக்களாயிருப்பார்கள். நான் அவர்களின் இறைவனாயிருப்பேன் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்’” என்றார்.
12 The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது. அவர் என்னிடம்,
13 Sonne of man, when ye land sinneth against me by committing a trespasse, then will I stretch out mine hand vpon it, and will breake the staffe of the bread thereof, and will send famine vpon it, and I will destroy man and beast forth of it.
“மனுபுத்திரனே, ஒரு நாடு எனக்கெதிராய் பாவம் செய்து உண்மையற்றதாய் இருந்தால், நான் அதற்கு விரோதமாக என் கரத்தை நீட்டுவேன். அதற்கு உணவளிப்பதை நிறுத்தி, பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்பி அதன் மக்களையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவேன்.
14 Though these three men Noah, Daniel, and Iob were among them, they shoulde deliuer but their owne soules by their righteousnes, saith the Lord God.
அப்பொழுது அங்கே நோவா, தானியேல், யோபு ஆகிய மூவரும் இருந்தாலுங்கூட, அவர்கள் தங்கள் நீதியின் நிமித்தம் தங்களை மட்டுமே தப்புவித்துக்கொள்ளக்கூடும் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
15 If I bring noysome beastes into the lande and they spoyle it, so that it bee desolate, that no man may passe through, because of beastes,
“அல்லது, நான் காட்டு மிருகங்களை அந்த நாட்டின் வழியாக அனுப்பினால், அவை அந்த நாட்டிலுள்ளவர்களைப் பிள்ளையற்றவர்களாக்கும். ஒருவரும் அந்த நாட்டின் வழியாகப்போக இயலாதபடி, அது மிருகங்களின் நிமித்தம் பாழாய்ப்போகும்.
16 Though these three men were in the mids thereof, As I liue, sayth the Lord God, they shall saue neither sonnes nor daughters: they onely shalbe deliuered, but the land shall be waste.
நான் வாழ்வது நிச்சயம்போலவே, அங்கு அவ்வேளையில் இவர்கள் மூவரும் இருந்தாலுங்கூட, அவர்களால் தம் சொந்த மகன்களையோ மகள்களையோ தப்புவிக்கவும் முடியாது. அவர்கள் மாத்திரமே தப்புவார்கள். ஆனால் நாடோ பாழாய்ப்போகும் என்பதும் நிச்சயம் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
17 Or if I bring a sworde vpon this land, and say, Sword, go through the land, so that I destroy man and beast out of it,
“இல்லையெனில், நான் அந்நாட்டிற்கு எதிராக வாளை வரச்செய்து, ‘வாள் நாட்டை ஊடுருவிச் செல்லட்டும்’ என்று சொல்வேனாகில், நான் அங்குள்ள மக்களையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவேன்.
18 Though these three men were in the mids thereof, As I liue, sayth the Lord God, they shall deliuer neither sonnes nor daughters, but they onely shall be deliuered themselues.
நான் வாழ்வது நிச்சயம்போலவே, நான் அப்படிச் செய்தால், இந்த மூவரும் அங்கு இருந்தாலுங்கூட அவர்களால் தங்கள் சொந்த மகன்களையோ, மகள்களையோ தப்புவிக்கவும் முடியாது. அவர்கள் மாத்திரமே தப்புவார்கள் என்பதும் நிச்சயம் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
19 Or if I send a pestilence into this land, and powre out my wrath vpon it in blood, to destroy out of it man and beast,
“இல்லையெனில், நான் அந்நாட்டில் கொள்ளைநோயை அனுப்பி, நான் எனது கோபத்தினால் இரத்தம் சிந்தப்பண்ணி, அங்குள்ள மனிதரையும், அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொலைசெய்வேனாகில்,
20 And though Noah, Daniel and Iob were in the middes of it, As I liue, sayth the Lord God, they shall deliuer neither sonne nor daughter: they shall but deliuer their owne soules by their righteousnes.
நான் வாழ்வது நிச்சயம்போலவே, நோவா, தானியேல், யோபு ஆகிய அந்த மூவரும் அங்கிருந்தாலுங்கூட, அவர்களால் தங்கள் மகனையோ மகளையோ தப்புவிக்கவும் முடியாது. தங்கள் நீதியினால் அவர்கள் மட்டுமே தப்புவார்கள் என்பதும் நிச்சயம் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
21 For thus saith the Lord God, Howe much more when I sende my foure sore iudgements vpon Ierusalem, euen the sworde, and famine, and the noysome beast and pestilence, to destroy man and beast out of it?
“ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான் எருசலேமுக்கு விரோதமாக மனிதரையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவதற்கு வாள், பஞ்சம், காட்டுமிருகம், கொள்ளைநோய் ஆகிய நான்கு பயங்கரத் தீர்ப்புகளையும் அனுப்பும்போது, அவைகளிலும் இது எவ்வளவு அதிக கொடியதாயிருக்கும்!
22 Yet beholde, therein shalbe left a remnant of them that shalbe caryed away both sonnes and daughters: behold, they shall come forth vnto you, and ye shall see their way, and their enterprises: and ye shall be comforted, concerning the euill that I haue brought vpon Ierusalem, euen concerning al that I haue brought vpon it.
அப்படியிருந்தும், அங்கிருந்து தப்பிப்பிழைத்த சில மகன்களும், மகள்களும், வெளியே கொண்டுவரப்படுவார்கள். அவர்கள் பாபிலோனுக்கு நாடுகடத்தப்பட்டு உங்களிடத்திற்கே வருவார்கள். அவர்களுடைய ஒழுக்கக்கேட்டையும் அவர்களுடைய நடத்தையையும் நீங்கள் காணும்போது எருசலேமின்மீது நான் வரப்பண்ணின தீங்கையும், அதன்மீது வரப்பண்ணின ஒவ்வொரு அழிவையும் குறித்து ஆறுதல் அடைவீர்கள்.
23 And they shall comfort you, when yee see their way and their enterprises: and ye shall know, that I haue not done without cause all that I haue done in it, saith the Lord God.
நீங்கள் அவர்களுடைய ஒழுக்கக்கேட்டையும் நடத்தையையும் காணும்போது, நான் காரணமில்லாமால் ஒன்றும் செய்யவில்லை என்று அறிவீர்கள். அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் ஆறுதல் அடைவீர்கள் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.”
