Ezekiel 11
1 Moreover, the Spirite lift me vp, and brought me vnto the East gate of the Lordes house, which lyeth Eastwarde, and beholde, at the entrie of the gate were fiue and twentie men: among whome I sawe Iaazaniah the sonne of Azur, and Pelatiah the sonne of Benaiah, the princes of the people.
Och en andekraft lyfte upp mig och förde mig till östra porten på HERRENS hus, den som vetter åt öster. Där fick jag se tjugufem män stå vid ingången till porten; och jag såg bland dem Jaasanja, Assurs son, och Pelatja, Benajas son, som voro furstar i folket.
2 Then said he vnto me, Sonne of man, these are the men that imagine mischiefe, and deuise wicked counsell in this citie.
Och han sade till mig: "Du människobarn, det är dessa män som tänka ut vad fördärvligt är och råda till vad ont är, här i staden;
3 For they say, It is not neere, let vs builde houses: this citie is the caldron, and wee be the flesh.
det är de som säga: 'Hus byggas icke upp så snart. Här är grytan, och vi äro köttet.
4 Therefore prophesie against them, sonne of man, prophesie.
Profetera därför mot dem, ja, profetera, du människobarn."
5 And the Spirite of the Lord fell vpon me, and said vnto me, Speake, Thus saith the Lord, O ye house of Israel, this haue ye said, and I know that which riseth vp of your mindes.
Då föll HERRENS Ande över mig, han sade till mig: "Säg: Så säger HERREN: Sådant sägen I, I av Israels hus, och edra hjärtans tankar känner jag väl.
6 Many haue ye murthered in this citie, and ye haue filled the streets thereof with the slaine.
Många ligga genom eder slagna här i staden; I haven uppfyllt dess gator med slagna.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, They that ye haue slaine, and haue layed in the middes of it, they are the flesh, and this citie is the caldron, but I wil bring you foorth of the mids of it.
Därför säger Herren, HERREN så: De slagna vilkas fall I haven vållat i staden, de äro köttet, och den är grytan; men eder själva skall man föra bort ur den.
8 Ye haue feared the sworde, and I wil bring a sworde vpon you, saith the Lord God.
I frukten för svärd, och svärd skall jag ock låta komma över eder, säger Herren, HERREN.
9 And I will bring you out of the middes thereof, and deliuer you into the hands of strangers, and will execute iudgements among you.
Jag skall föra eder bort härifrån och giva eder i främlingars hand; och jag skall hålla dom över eder.
10 Ye shall fall by the sworde, and I wil iudge you in the border of Israel, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.
För svärd skolen I falla; vid Israels gräns skall jag döma eder. Och I skolen förnimma att jag är HERREN.
11 This citie shall not be your caldron, neyther shall ye be the flesh in the middes thereof, but I will iudge you in the border of Israel.
Staden skall icke vara en gryta för eder, och I skolen icke vara köttet i den; nej, vid Israels gräns skall jag döma eder.
12 And ye shall knowe that I am the Lord: for ye haue not walked in my statutes, neither executed my iudgements, but haue done after the maners of the heathen, that are round about you.
Då skolen I förnimma att jag är HERREN, I som icke haven vandrat efter mina stadgar och icke haven gjort efter mina rätter, utan haven gjort efter de hednafolks rätter, som bo runt omkring eder."
13 And when I prophesied, Pelatiah the sonne of Benaiah dyed: then fell I downe vpon my face, and cryed with a loude voyce, and saide, Ah Lord God, wilt thou then vtterly destroy all the remnant of Israel?
Medan jag så profeterade, hade Pelatja, Benajas son, uppgivit andan. Då föll jag ned på mitt ansikte och ropade med hög röst och sade: "Ack, Herre, HERRE, vill du då alldeles göra ände på kvarlevan av Israel?"
14 Againe the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Och HERRENS ord kom till mig; han sade:
15 Sonne of man, thy brethren, euen thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, wholy are they vnto whome the inhabitants of Ierusalem haue said, Depart ye farre from the Lord: for the lande is giuen vs in possession.
"Du människobarn, dina bröder, ja, dina bröder dina nära fränder och hela Israels hus, alla de till vilka Jerusalems invånare säga: 'Hållen eder borta från HERREN; det är åt oss som landet har blivit givet till besittning' --
16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God, Although I haue cast them farre off among the heathen, and although I haue scattered them among the countreis, yet wil I be to them as a litle Sanctuarie in ye countreis where they shall come.
om dem skall du alltså säga: Så säger Herren, HERREN: Ja, väl har jag fört dem långt bort ibland folken och förstrött dem i länderna, och med nöd har jag varit för dem en helgedom i de länder dit de hava kommit;
17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God, I will gather you againe from the people, and assemble you out of the countreis where ye haue bene scattered, and I will giue you ye land of Israel.
men därför skall du nu säga: Så säger Herren, HERREN: Jag skall församla eder ifrån folkslagen och hämta eder tillhopa från de länder dit I haven blivit förströdda, och skall giva eder Israels land.
18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the idoles thereof, and all the abominations thereof from thence.
Och när de hava kommit dit, skola de skaffa bort därifrån alla de skändliga och styggeliga avgudar som nu finnas där.
19 And I will giue them one heart, and I will put a newe spirit within their bowels: and I will take the stonie heart out of their bodies, and will giue them an heart of flesh,
Och jag skall giva dem alla ett och samma hjärta, och en ny ande skall jag låta komma i deras bröst; jag skall taga bort stenhjärtat ur deras kropp och giva dem ett hjärta av kött,
20 That they may walke in my statutes, and keepe my iudgements, and execute them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
så att de vandra efter mina stadgar och hålla mina rätter och göra efter dem, och de skola vara mitt folk, och jag skall vara deras Gud.
21 But vpon them, whose heart is towarde their idoles, and whose affection goeth after their abominations, I will lay their way vpon their owne heades, saith the Lord God.
Men de vilkas hjärtan efterfölja de skändliga och styggeliga avgudarnas hjärtan, deras gärningar skall jag låta komma över deras huvuden, säger Herren, HERREN."
22 Then did the Cherubims lift vp their wings, and the wheeles besides them, and the glorie of the God of Israel was vpon them on hie.
Och keruberna, följda av hjulen, lyfte sina vingar, och Israels Guds härlighet vilade ovanpå dem.
23 And the glorie of the Lord went vp from the middes of the citie, and stoode vpon the moutaine which is towarde the East side of the citie.
Och HERRENS härlighet höjde sig och lämnade staden och stannade på berget öster om staden.
24 Afterwarde the Spirite tooke me vp, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Caldea to them that were led away captiues: so the vision that I had seene, went vp from me.
Men mig hade en andekraft lyft upp och fört bort till de fångna i Kaldeen, så hade skett i synen, genom Guds Ande. Sedan försvann för mig den syn jag hade fått se.
25 Then I declared vnto them that were led away captiues, all the things that the Lord had shewed me.
Och jag talade till de fångna alla de ord som HERREN hade uppenbarat för mig.
