Ezekiel 11

1 Moreover, the Spirite lift me vp, and brought me vnto the East gate of the Lordes house, which lyeth Eastwarde, and beholde, at the entrie of the gate were fiue and twentie men: among whome I sawe Iaazaniah the sonne of Azur, and Pelatiah the sonne of Benaiah, the princes of the people.

Poleg tega me je duh dvignil navzgor in me privedel k vzhodnim velikim vratom Gospodove hiše, ki so gledala proti vzhodu. Glej, pri vratih velikih vrat sem zagledal petindvajset mož; med njimi sem videl Jaazanjá, Azúrjevega sina in Pelatjája, Benajájevega sina, princa ljudstva.

2 Then said he vnto me, Sonne of man, these are the men that imagine mischiefe, and deuise wicked counsell in this citie.

Potem mi je rekel: »Človeški sin, to so možje, ki snujejo vragolijo in dajejo zloben nasvet v tem mestu,

3 For they say, It is not neere, let vs builde houses: this citie is the caldron, and wee be the flesh.

ki pravijo: › To ni blizu; dajmo, gradimo hiše; to mesto je kotel in mi smo meso.‹

4 Therefore prophesie against them, sonne of man, prophesie.

Zato prerokuj zoper njih, prerokuj, oh človeški sin.«

5 And the Spirite of the Lord fell vpon me, and said vnto me, Speake, Thus saith the Lord, O ye house of Israel, this haue ye said, and I know that which riseth vp of your mindes.

In Gospodov Duh je padel name ter mi rekel: »Govori: ›Tako govori Gospod: ›Tako ste rekli, oh Izraelova hiša; kajti poznam besede, ki pridejo v vaš um, vsako izmed njih.

6 Many haue ye murthered in this citie, and ye haue filled the streets thereof with the slaine.

Pomnožili ste svoje umorjene v tem mestu in njegove ulice ste napolnili z umorjenimi.‹

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, They that ye haue slaine, and haue layed in the middes of it, they are the flesh, and this citie is the caldron, but I wil bring you foorth of the mids of it.

Zato tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Vaši umorjeni, ki ste jih položili v njegovi sredi, oni so meso in to mesto je kotel, toda jaz vas bom privedel iz njegove srede.

8 Ye haue feared the sworde, and I wil bring a sworde vpon you, saith the Lord God.

Bali ste se meča; pa bom nad vas privedel meč, ‹ govori Gospod Bog.

9 And I will bring you out of the middes thereof, and deliuer you into the hands of strangers, and will execute iudgements among you.

›Privedel vas bom iz njegove srede in vas izročil v roke tujcem in med vami bom izvršil sodbe.

10 Ye shall fall by the sworde, and I wil iudge you in the border of Israel, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.

Pod mečem boste padli; sodil vas bom na Izraelovi meji, in spoznali boste, da jaz sem Gospod.

11 This citie shall not be your caldron, neyther shall ye be the flesh in the middes thereof, but I will iudge you in the border of Israel.

To mesto ne bo vaš kotel niti ne boste meso v njegovi sredi; temveč vas bom jaz sodil na Izraelovi meji

12 And ye shall knowe that I am the Lord: for ye haue not walked in my statutes, neither executed my iudgements, but haue done after the maners of the heathen, that are round about you.

in spoznali boste, da jaz sem Gospod, kajti niste živeli po mojih zakonih niti izvrševali mojih sodb, temveč ste počeli po navadah poganov, ki so naokoli vas.‹«

13 And when I prophesied, Pelatiah the sonne of Benaiah dyed: then fell I downe vpon my face, and cryed with a loude voyce, and saide, Ah Lord God, wilt thou then vtterly destroy all the remnant of Israel?

In pripetilo se je, ko sem prerokoval, da je Benajájev sin Pelatjája umrl. Potem sem padel na svoj obraz in jokal z močnim glasom ter rekel: »Ah, Gospod Bog! Ali hočeš narediti popoln konec Izraelovemu preostanku?«

14 Againe the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

Ponovno je prišla k meni Gospodova beseda, rekoč:

15 Sonne of man, thy brethren, euen thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, wholy are they vnto whome the inhabitants of Ierusalem haue said, Depart ye farre from the Lord: for the lande is giuen vs in possession.

»Človeški sin, tvoji bratje, celó tvoji bratje, možje tvojega sorodstva in vsa celotna Izraelova hiša, ali so oni tisti, ki so jim prebivalci [prestolnice] Jeruzalem rekli: ›Spravite se daleč od Gospoda. Nam je dana ta dežela v posest.‹

16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God, Although I haue cast them farre off among the heathen, and although I haue scattered them among the countreis, yet wil I be to them as a litle Sanctuarie in ye countreis where they shall come.

Zato reci: ›Tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Čeprav sem jih vrgel daleč proč med pogane in čeprav sem jih razkropil med dežele, vendar jim bom kakor majhno svetišče v deželah, v katere bodo prišli.‹

17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God, I will gather you againe from the people, and assemble you out of the countreis where ye haue bene scattered, and I will giue you ye land of Israel.

Zato reci: ›Tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Jaz vas bom celo zbral izmed ljudstev in vas zbral izmed dežel, kamor ste bili razkropljeni in jaz vam bom dal Izraelovo deželo.

18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the idoles thereof, and all the abominations thereof from thence.

In prišli bodo tja in od tam bodo odvzeli vse njene ostudne stvari in vse njene ogabnosti.

19 And I will giue them one heart, and I will put a newe spirit within their bowels: and I will take the stonie heart out of their bodies, and will giue them an heart of flesh,

Dal jim bom eno srce in znotraj vas bom položil novega duha; in odvzel bom kamnito srce iz njihovega mesa in jim dal meseno srce,

20 That they may walke in my statutes, and keepe my iudgements, and execute them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

da se bodo lahko ravnali po mojih zakonih in se držali mojih odredb in jih izvajali in bodo moje ljudstvo in jaz bom njihov Bog.

21 But vpon them, whose heart is towarde their idoles, and whose affection goeth after their abominations, I will lay their way vpon their owne heades, saith the Lord God.

Toda glede tistih, čigar srce hodi za srcem njihovih ostudnih stvari in njihovih ogabnosti, bom njihovo pot poplačal na njihovih lastnih glavah, ‹ govori Gospod Bog.«

22 Then did the Cherubims lift vp their wings, and the wheeles besides them, and the glorie of the God of Israel was vpon them on hie.

Potem so kerubi dvignili svoje peruti in kolesa poleg njih; in slava Izraelovega Boga je bila zgoraj nad njimi.

23 And the glorie of the Lord went vp from the middes of the citie, and stoode vpon the moutaine which is towarde the East side of the citie.

In Gospodova slava se je vzdignila iz srede mesta in se ustavila nad goro, ki je na vzhodni strani mesta.

24 Afterwarde the Spirite tooke me vp, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Caldea to them that were led away captiues: so the vision that I had seene, went vp from me.

Potem me je duh vzel gor in me v videnju, po Božjem Duhu, privedel v Kaldejo, k tem iz ujetništva. Tako se je videnje, ki sem ga videl, dvignilo od mene.

25 Then I declared vnto them that were led away captiues, all the things that the Lord had shewed me.

Potem sem tistim iz ujetništva, spregovoril vse stvari, ki mi jih je Gospod pokazal.
