Exodus 8

1 Afterward the Lord sayde vnto Moses, Goe vnto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people goe, that they may serue me:

௧அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “நீ பார்வோனிடம் போய்: “எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என்னுடைய மக்களை அனுப்பிவிடு.

2 And if thou wilt not let them goe, beholde, I will smite all thy countrey with frogges:

௨நீ அவர்களை அனுப்பிவிடமாட்டேன் என்று சொன்னால், உன்னுடைய எல்லை முழுவதும் தவளைகளால் வாதிப்பேன்.

3 And the riuer shall scral ful of frogges, which shall goe vp and come into thine house, and into thy chamber, where thou sleepest, and vpon thy bed, and into the house of thy seruants, and vpon thy people, and into thine ouens, and into thy kneading troughes.

௩நதி தவளைகளைத் திரளாக பிறப்பிக்கும்; அவைகள் உன்னுடைய வீட்டிலும் படுக்கை அறையிலும், படுக்கையின்மேலும், வேலைக்காரர்களுடைய வீடுகளிலும், மக்களிடத்திலும், அடுப்புகளிலும், மாவுபிசைகிற உன்னுடைய பாத்திரங்களிலும் வந்து ஏறும்.

4 Yea, the frogges shall climbe vp vpon thee, and on thy people, and vpon all thy seruants.

௪அந்தத் தவளைகள் உன்மேலும், உன்னுடைய மக்கள்மேலும், வேலைக்காரர்கள் எல்லோர்மேலும் வந்து ஏறும் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார் என்று சொல்” என்றார்.

5 Also the Lord said vnto Moses, Say thou vnto Aaron, Stretch out thine hande with thy rod vpon the streames, vpon the riuers, and vpon the ponds, and cause frogs to come vp vpon the land of Egypt.

௫மேலும் யெகோவா மோசேயிடம் நீ ஆரோனை நோக்கி:” நீ உன்னுடைய கையில் இருக்கிற கோலை நதிகள்மேலும், வாய்க்கால்கள்மேலும், குளங்கள்மேலும் நீட்டி, எகிப்துதேசத்தின்மேல் தவளைகளை வரும்படிச் செய் என்று சொல்” என்றார்.

6 Then Aaron stretched out his hand vpon the waters of Egypt, and the frogges came vp, and couered the land of Egypt.

௬அப்படியே ஆரோன் தன்னுடைய கையை எகிப்திலுள்ள தண்ணீர்கள்மேல் நீட்டினான்; அப்பொழுது தவளைகள் வந்து, எகிப்து தேசத்தை மூடிக்கொண்டது.

7 And the sorcerers did likewise with their sorceries, and brought frogges vp vpon the land of Egypt.

௭மந்திரவாதிகளும் தங்களுடைய மந்திரவித்தையினால் அப்படிச் செய்து, எகிப்து தேசத்தின்மேல் தவளைகளை வரச்செய்தார்கள்.

8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Pray ye vnto the Lord, that hee may take away the frogges from mee, and from my people, and I will let the people goe, that they may doe sacrifice vnto the Lord.

௮பார்வோன் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் அழைத்து: “அந்தத் தவளைகள் என்னையும் என்னுடைய மக்களையும்விட்டு நீங்கும்படி யெகோவாவை நோக்கி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; யெகோவாவுக்குப் பலியிடும்படி மக்களைப் போகவிடுவேன்” என்றான்.

9 And Moses said vnto Pharaoh, Concerning me, euen command when I shall pray for thee, and for thy seruants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogges from thee and from thine houses, that they may remaine in the riuer only.

௯அப்பொழுது மோசே பார்வோனை நோக்கி: “தவளைகள் நதியிலே மட்டும் இருக்கும்படி அவைகளை உம்மிடத்திலும் உம்முடைய வீட்டிலும் இல்லாமல் ஒழிந்துபோகும்படிச் செய்ய, உமக்காகவும் உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர்களுக்காகவும் உம்முடைய மக்களுக்காகவும் நான் விண்ணப்பம் செய்யவேண்டிய காலத்தைக் குறிக்கும் மேன்மை உமக்கே இருப்பதாக” என்றான்.

10 Then he said, To morowe. And he answered, Be it as thou hast said, that thou maiest know, that there is none like vnto the Lord our God.

௧0அதற்கு அவன்: “நாளைக்கு என்றான். அப்பொழுது இவன்: “எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒப்பானவர் இல்லை என்பதை நீர் அறியும்படி உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படி ஆகட்டும்.

11 So the frogges shall depart from thee, and from thine houses, and from thy seruantes, and from thy people: onely they shall remaine in the riuer.

௧௧தவளைகள் உம்மையும், உம்முடைய வீட்டையும், உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர்களையும், உம்முடைய மக்களையும்விட்டு நீங்கி, நதியிலே மட்டும் இருக்கும்” என்றான்.

12 Then Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cryed vnto the Lord concerning the frogges, which hee had sent vnto Pharaoh.

௧௨மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் பார்வோனைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டார்கள். பார்வோனுக்கு எதிராக வரச்செய்த தவளைகளினால் மோசே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டான்.

13 And the Lord did according to the saying of Moses: so the frogges died in the houses, in the townes, and in the fieldes.

௧௩யெகோவா மோசேயின் சொற்படிச் செய்தார்; வீடுகளிலும் முற்றங்களிலும் வயல்களிலும் இருந்த தவளைகள் செத்துப்போனது.

14 And they gathered the together by heaps, and the land stanke of them.

௧௪அவைகளைக் குவியல் குவியலாகச் சேர்த்தார்கள்; அதினால் பூமியெங்கும் நாற்றம் எடுத்தது.

15 But when Pharaoh sawe that hee had rest giuen him, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not vnto them, as the Lord had said.

௧௫இலகுவுண்டாயிற்றென்று பார்வோன் கண்டபோதோ, தன்னுடைய இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தி, அவர்களுடைய சொல்லைக் கேட்காமற்போனான்; யெகோவா சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே ஆனது.

16 Againe the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Say vnto Aaron, Stretche out the rod, and smite the dust of the earth, that it may bee turned to lyce throughout all the land of Egypt.

௧௬அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மோசேயிடம் நீ ஆரோனை நோக்கி: “உன்னுடைய கோலை நீட்டி, பூமியின் புழுதியின்மேல் அடி; அப்பொழுது அது எகிப்து தேசம் முழுவதும் பேன்களாகப்போகும் என்று சொல்” என்றார்.

17 And they did so: for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth: and lyce came vpon man and vpon beast: all the dust of the earth was lyce throughout all the land of Egypt.

௧௭அப்படியே செய்தார்கள்; ஆரோன் தன்னுடைய கையில் இருந்த தன்னுடைய கோலை நீட்டி, பூமியின் புழுதியின்மேல் அடித்தான்; அப்பொழுது அது மனிதர்கள்மேலும், மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும், எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் பூமியின் புழுதியெல்லாம் பேன்களானது.

18 Nowe the enchanters assaied likewise with their enchantments to bring forth lyce, but they could not. So the lyce were vpon man and vpon beast.

௧௮மந்திரவாதிகளும் தங்களுடைய மந்திரவித்தையினால் பேன்களை உருவாக்கும்படி முயற்சிசெய்தார்கள்; அப்படிச்செய்தும், அவர்களால் முடியாமற்போனது; பேன்கள் மனிதர்கள்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் இருந்தது.

19 Then saide the enchanters vnto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God. But Pharaohs heart remained obstinate, and hee hearkened not vnto them, as the Lord had said.

௧௯அப்பொழுது மந்திரவாதிகள் பார்வோனை நோக்கி: “இது தேவனுடைய விரல்” என்றார்கள். ஆனாலும், யெகோவா சொல்லிருந்தபடி பார்வோனுடைய இருதயம் கடினப்பட்டது; அவர்களுடைய சொல்லைக் கேட்காமற்போனான்.

20 Moreouer the Lord sayd to Moses, Rise vp earely in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh (lo, hee will come forth vnto the water) and say vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serue me.

௨0அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “நாளை அதிகாலையில் நீ எழுந்து போய், பார்வோன் நதிக்குப் புறப்பட்டு வரும்போது, அவனுக்கு முன்பாக நின்று: எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யும்படி என்னுடைய மக்களைப் போகவிடு.

21 Els, if thou wilt not let my people goe, behold, I will send swarmes of flies both vpon thee, and vpon thy seruants, and vpon thy people, and into thine houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shalbe full of swarmes of flies, and the ground also whereon they are.

௨௧என்னுடைய மக்களைப் போகவிடாமல் இருந்தால், நான் உன்மேலும், உன்னுடைய வேலைக்காரர்கள்மேலும், மக்கள்மேலும், வீடுகள்மேலும் பலவித வண்டுகளை அனுப்புவேன்; எகிப்தியர்களுடைய வீடுகளும் அவர்கள் இருக்கிற தேசமும் அந்த வண்டுகளால் நிறையும்.

22 But ye land of Goshe, where my people are, wil I cause to be wonderfull in that day, so that no swarmes of flies shalbe there, that thou maiest know that I am the Lord in the middes of the earth.

௨௨பூமியின் நடுவில் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நீ அறியும்படி என்னுடைய மக்கள் இருக்கிற கோசேன் நாட்டில் அந்த நாட்களிலே வண்டுகள் வராதபடி, அந்த நாட்டை தனிப்படுத்தி,

23 And I will make a deliuerance of my people from thy people: to morowe shall this miracle be.

௨௩என்னுடைய மக்களுக்கும் உன்னுடைய மக்களுக்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டாகும்படி செய்வேன்; இந்த அடையாளம் நாளைக்கு உண்டாகும் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்” என்று சொல் என்றார்.

24 And the Lord did so: for there came great swarmes of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his seruants houses, so that through all the lande of Egypt, the earth was corrupt by the swarmes of flies.

௨௪அப்படியே யெகோவா செய்தார்; வெகு திரளான வண்டுவகைகள் பார்வோனுடைய வீட்டிலும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரர்களுடைய வீடுகளிலும், எகிப்து தேசம் முழுவதிலும் வந்தது; வண்டுகளினாலே தேசம் கெட்டுப்போனது.

25 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and saide, Goe, doe sacrifice vnto your God in this lande.

௨௫அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் அழைத்து: “நீங்கள் போய், உங்கள் தேவனுக்கு இந்த தேசத்திலேயே பலியிடுங்கள்” என்றான்.

26 But Moses answered, It is not meete to do so: for then we shoulde offer vnto the Lord our God that, which is an abomination vnto the Egyptians. Loe, can we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and they not stone vs?

௨௬அதற்கு மோசே: “அப்படிச் செய்யக்கூடாது; எங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு நாங்கள் எகிப்தியர்களுடைய அருவருப்பைப் பலியிடுகிறதாக இருக்குமே, எகிப்தியர்களுடைய அருவருப்பை நாங்கள் அவர்களுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பலியிட்டால், எங்களைக் கல்லெறிவார்கள் அல்லவா?

27 Let vs go three dayes iourney in the desert, and sacrifice vnto the Lord our God, as he hath commanded vs.

௨௭நாங்கள் வனாந்திரத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் பயணமாக போய், எங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா எங்களுக்கு விதிக்கிறபடியே அவருக்குப் பலியிடுவோம்” என்றான்.

28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice vnto the Lord your God in the wildernesse: but goe not farre away, pray for me.

௨௮அப்பொழுது பார்வோன்: “நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு வனாந்திரத்தில் பலியிடும்படி, நான் உங்களைப் போகவிடுவேன்; ஆனாலும், நீங்கள் அதிக தூரமாகப் போகவேண்டாம்; எனக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்யுங்கள்” என்றான்.

29 And Moses said, Behold, I will go out from thee, and pray vnto the Lord, that the swarmes of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his seruants, and from his people to morowe: but let Pharaoh from hencefoorth deceiue no more, in not suffering the people to sacrifice vnto the Lord.

௨௯அதற்கு மோசே: “நான் உம்மைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டபின்பு, நாளைக்கு வண்டுகள் பார்வோனையும் அவருடைய வேலைக்காரர்களையும் அவருடைய மக்களையும் விட்டு நீங்கும்படி, நான் யெகோவாவை நோக்கி வேண்டுதல் செய்வேன்; ஆனாலும், யெகோவாவுக்குப் பலியிடுகிறதற்கு மக்களைப் போகவிடாதபடிப் பார்வோன் இனி ஏமாற்றாதிருப்பாராக” என்றான்.

30 So Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed vnto the Lord.

௩0மோசே பார்வோனைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், யெகோவா நோக்கி வேண்டுதல் செய்தான்.

31 And the Lord did according to the saying of Moses, and the swarmes of flies departed from Pharaoh, from his seruants, and from his people, and there remained not one.

௩௧அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மோசேயின் சொற்படி, வண்டுவகைகள் பார்வோனையும் அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரர்களையும், மக்களையும்விட்டு நீங்கும்படிச் செய்தார்; ஒன்றுகூட மீதியாக இருக்கவில்லை.

32 Yet Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, and did not let the people goe.

௩௨பார்வோனோ, இந்த முறையும் தன்னுடைய இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தி, மக்களைப் போகவிடாமல் இருந்தான்.
