Exodus 7
1 Then the Lord saide to Moses, Behold, I haue made thee Pharaohs God, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy Prophet.
Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Siehe, ich habe dich einen Gott gesetzt über Pharao; und Aaron, dein Bruder, soll dein Prophet sein.
2 Thou shalt speake all that I commanded thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speake vnto Pharaoh, that he suffer the children of Israel to go out of his land.
Du sollst reden alles, was ich dir gebieten werde; aber Aaron, dein Bruder, soll es vor Pharao reden, daß er die Kinder Israel aus seinem Lande lasse.
3 But I will harden Pharaohs heart, and multiplie my miracles and my wonders in the lande of Egypt.
Aber ich will Pharaos Herz verhärten, daß ich meiner Zeichen und Wunder viel tue in Ägyptenland.
4 And Pharaoh shall not hearken vnto you, that I may lay mine hand vpon Egypt, and bring out myne armies, euen my people, the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, by great iudgements.
Und Pharao wird euch nicht hören, auf daß ich meine Hand in Ägypten beweise und führe mein Heer, mein Volk, die Kinder Israel, aus Ägyptenland durch große Gerichte.
5 Then the Egyptians shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I stretch foorth mine hand vpon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
Und die Ägypter sollen's inne werden, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich nun meine Hand ausstrecke über Ägypten und die Kinder Israel von ihnen wegführen werde.
6 So Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, euen so did they.
Mose und Aaron taten, wie ihnen der HERR geboten hatte.
7 (Nowe Moses was foure score yeere olde, and Aaron foure score and three, when they spake vnto Pharaoh)
Und Mose war achtzig Jahre alt und Aaron dreiundachtzig Jahre alt, da sie mit Pharao redeten.
8 And the Lord had spoken vnto Moses and Aaron, saying,
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose und Aaron:
9 If Pharaoh speake vnto you, saying, Shewe a miracle for you, then thou shalt say vnto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shalbe turned into a serpent.
Wenn Pharao zu euch sagen wird: Beweiset eure Wunder, so sollst du zu Aaron sagen: Nimm deinen Stab und wirf ihn vor Pharao, daß er zur Schlange werde.
10 Then went Moses and Aaron vnto Pharaoh, and did euen as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast forth his rod before Pharaoh and before his seruants, and it was turned into a serpent.
Da gingen Mose und Aaron hinein zu Pharao und taten wie ihnen der HERR geboten hatte. Und Aaron warf seinen Stab vor Pharao und vor seinen Knechten; und er ward zur Schlange.
11 Then Pharaoh called also for the wise men and sorcerers: and those charmers also of Egypt did in like maner with their enchantmens,
Da forderte Pharao die Weisen und Zauberer. Und die ägyptischen Zauberer taten auch also mit ihrem Beschwören.
12 For they cast downe euery man his rod, and they were turned into serpents: but Aarons rodde deuoured their rods.
Ein jeglicher warf seinen Stab von sich, da wurden Schlangen draus; aber Aarons Stab verschlang ihre Stäbe.
13 So Pharaohs heart was hardened, and hee hearkened not to them, as the Lord had saide.
Also ward das Herz Pharaos verstockt und hörete sie nicht, wie denn der HERR geredet hatte.
14 The Lord then saide vnto Moses, Pharaohs heart is obstinate, hee refuseth to let the people goe.
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Das Herz Pharaos ist hart; er weigert sich, das Volk zu lassen.
15 Goe vnto Pharaoh in the morning, (loe, he will come forth vnto the water) and thou shalt stand and meete him by the riuers brinke, and the rod, which was turned into a serpent, shalt thou take in thine hand.
Gehe hin zu Pharao morgen. Siehe, er wird ans Wasser gehen; so tritt gegen ihm an das Ufer des Wassers und nimm den Stab in deine Hand, der zur Schlange ward,
16 And thou shalt say vnto him, The Lord God of the Ebrewes hath sent me vnto thee, saying, Let my people goe, that they may serue mee in the wildernesse: and beholde, hitherto thou wouldest not heare.
und sprich zu ihm: Der HERR, der Ebräer Gott, hat mich zu dir gesandt und lassen sagen: Laß mein Volk, daß mir's diene in der Wüste! Aber du hast bisher nicht wollen hören.
17 Thus saith the Lord, In this shalt thou know that I am the Lord: behold, I wil smite with the rodde that is in mine hand vpon the water that is in the riuer, and it shalbe turned to blood.
Darum spricht der HERR also: Daran sollst du erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin. Siehe, ich will mit dem Stabe, den ich in meiner Hand habe, das Wasser schlagen, das in dem Strom ist, und es soll in Blut verwandelt werden,
18 And the fish that is in the riuer shall dye, and the riuer shall stinke, and it shall grieue the Egyptians to drinke of the water of the riuer.
daß die Fische im Strom sterben sollen und der Strom stinken, und den Ägyptern wird ekeln, zu trinken des Wassers aus dem Strom.
19 The Lord then spake to Moses, Say vnto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand ouer the waters of Egypt, ouer their streames, ouer their riuers, and ouer their pondes, and ouer all pooles of their waters, and they shalbe blood, and there shalbe blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and of stone.
Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sage Aaron: Nimm deinen Stab und recke deine Hand aus über die Wasser in Ägypten, über ihre Bäche und Ströme und Seen und über alle Wassersümpfe, daß sie Blut werden, und sei Blut in ganz Ägyptenland, beide in hölzernen und steinernen Gefäßen.
20 So Moses and Aaron did euen as the Lord commanded: and hee lift vp the rodde, and smote the water that was in the riuer in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his seruants: and all the water that was in the riuer, was turned into blood.
Mose und Aaron taten, wie ihnen der HERR geboten hatte, und hub den Stab auf und schlug ins Wasser, das im Strom war, vor Pharao und seinen Knechten. Und alles Wasser im Strom ward in Blut verwandelt.
21 And the fish that was in the ryuer dyed, and the riuer stanke: so that the Egyptians could not drinke of the water of the riuer: and there was blood throughout all the lande of Egypt.
Und die Fische im Strom starben, und der Strom ward stinkend, daß die Ägypter nicht trinken konnten des Wassers aus dem Strom; und ward Blut in ganz Ägyptenland.
22 And the enchanters of Egypt did likewise with their sorceries: and the heart of Phraoh was hardened: so that he did not hearken vnto them, as the Lord had sayde.
Und die ägyptischen Zauberer taten auch also mit ihrem Beschwören. Also ward das Herz Pharaos verstockt und hörete sie nicht, wie denn der HERR geredet hatte.
23 Then Pharaoh returned, and went againe into his house, neither did this yet enter into his heart.
Und Pharao wandte sich und ging heim und nahm's nicht zu Herzen.
24 All the Egyptians then digged rounde about the riuer for waters to drinke: for they could not drinke of the water of the riuer.
Aber alle Ägypter gruben nach Wasser um den Strom her, zu trinken; denn des Wassers aus dem Strom konnten sie nicht trinken.
25 And this continued fully seuen dayes after the Lord had smitten the riuer.
Und das währete sieben Tage lang, daß der HERR den Strom schlug.
