Exodus 6
1 Then the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Nowe shalt thou see, what I will doe vnto Pharaoh: for by a strong hand shall he let them goe, and euen be constrained to driue them out of his land.
അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശയോട്, “ഞാൻ ഫറവോനോട് എന്തു ചെയ്യുമെന്നു നീ കാണും. എന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള ഭുജംനിമിത്തം അവൻ അവരെ വിട്ടയയ്ക്കും; എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള കരം കണ്ടിട്ട് അവൻ അവരെ ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് ആട്ടിയോടിക്കും” എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
2 Moreouer God spake vnto Moses, and sayd vnto him, I am the Lord,
ദൈവം മോശയോടു വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
3 And I appeared vnto Abraham, to Izhak, and to Iaakob by the Name of Almightie God: but by my Name Iehouah was I not knowen vnto the.
ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനും യാക്കോബിനും സർവശക്തനായ ദൈവമായി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് എന്നെത്തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല.
4 Furthermore as I made my couenant with them to giue them ye land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers:
അവർ പ്രവാസികളായി താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന കനാൻദേശം അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അവരോട് ഉടമ്പടിചെയ്തു.
5 So I haue also hearde the groning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keepe in bondage, and haue remembred my couenant.
ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അടിമകളാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കുകയും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി ഓർക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 Wherefore say thou vnto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians, and will deliuer you out of their bondage, and will redeeme you in a stretched out arme, and in great iudgements.
“ആകയാൽ, ഇസ്രായേല്യരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുക: ‘ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ നുകത്തിൻകീഴിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കും; അവരുടെ അടിമത്തത്തിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കും; നീട്ടിയ ഭുജത്താലും മഹാശിക്ഷാവിധികളാലും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കും.
7 Also I will take you for my people, and will be your God: then ye shall knowe that I the Lord your God bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians.
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്വന്തജനമായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ആയിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ നുകത്തിൻകീഴിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ വിടുവിച്ച നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാൻതന്നെ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അപ്പോൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കും.
8 And I will bring you into the land which I sware that I woulde giue to Abraham, to Izhak, and to Iaakob, and I will giue it vnto you for a possession: I am the Lord.
അബ്രാഹാമിനും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനും യാക്കോബിനും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ കൈ ഉയർത്തി ശപഥംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് അതു നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അവകാശമായിത്തരും. ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.’”
9 So Moses told the children of Israel thus: but they hearkened not vnto Moses, for anguish of spirit and for cruel bondage.
മോശ ഇത് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാൽ തങ്ങളെ തളർത്തുന്നരീതിയിലുള്ള ക്രൂരമായ അടിമത്തം നിമിത്തം അവർ മോശയുടെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.
10 Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
ഇതിനുശേഷം യഹോവ മോശയോട്,
11 Go speak to Pharaoh King of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel goe out of his land.
“നീ ചെന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോട്, ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ അവന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു വിട്ടയയ്ക്കണമെന്നു പറയുക” എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.
12 But Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Beholde, the children of Israel hearken not vnto me, howe then shall Pharaoh heare mee, which am of vncircumcised lippes?
എന്നാൽ മോശ യഹോവയോട്, “ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾപോലും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല, പിന്നെ ഫറവോൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ? ഞാൻ വാക്ചാതുര്യമുള്ളവനല്ലല്ലോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
13 Then the Lord spake vnto Moses and vnto Aaron, and charged them to goe to the children of Israel and to Pharaoh King of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the lande of Egypt.
എന്നാൽ യഹോവ മോശയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഈജിപ്റ്റുരാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും അവിടന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ നിയോഗിച്ചയച്ചു.
14 These bee the heades of their fathers houses: the sonnes of Reuben the first borne of Israel are Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi: these are ye families of Reuben.
അവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിലെ തലവന്മാർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രൂബേന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹാനോക്ക്, ഫല്ലൂ, ഹെസ്രോൻ, കർമി; ഇവയായിരുന്നു രൂബേന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ.
15 Also the sonnes of Simeon: Iemuel and Iamin, and Ohad, and Iachin, and Zoar, and Shaul the sonne of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.
ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യെമൂവേൽ, യാമിൻ, ഓഹദ്, യാഖീൻ, സോഹർ, ഒരു കനാന്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകനായ ശാവൂൽ; ഇവയായിരുന്നു ശിമെയോന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ.
16 These also are the names of the sonnes of Leui in their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari (and the yeres of the life of Leui were an hundreth thirtie and seuen yere)
തങ്ങളുടെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗെർശോൻ, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി. (ലേവി 137 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.)
17 The sonnes of Gershon were Libni and Shimi by their families.
കുലങ്ങളുടെ ക്രമമനുസരിച്ച് ഗെർശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ലിബ്നിയും ശിമെയിയും ആയിരുന്നു.
18 And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram and Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel. (and Kohath liued an hundreth thirtie and three yeere)
കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. (കെഹാത്ത് 133 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.)
19 Also the sonnes of Merari were Mahali and Mushi: these are ye families of Leui by their kinreds.
മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, മൂശി എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. ഇവരാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രമാണരേഖകളിൻപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ കുലങ്ങൾ.
20 And Amram tooke Iochebed his fathers sister to his wife, and shee bare him Aaron and Moses (and Amram liued an hundreth thirtie and seuen yeere)
അമ്രാം തന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ യോഖേബേദിനെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന് അഹരോനെയും മോശയെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു. അമ്രാം നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തിയേഴു വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.
21 Also the sonnes of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
യിസ്ഹാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കോരഹ്, നേഫെഗ്, സിക്രി എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു.
22 And the sonnes of Vzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മീശായേൽ, എത്സാഫാൻ, സിത്രി.
23 And Aaron tooke Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahashon to his wife, which bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
അഹരോൻ അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകളും നഹശോന്റെ പെങ്ങളുമായ എലീശേബയെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന് നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ എന്നിവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.
24 Also the sonnes of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
കോരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അസ്സീർ, എൽക്കാനാ, അബീയാസാഫ് എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. കോരഹിന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ ഇവതന്നെ.
25 And Eleazar Aarons sonne tooke him one of the daughters of Putiel to his wife, which bare him Phinehas: these are the principall fathers of the Leuites throughout their families.
അഹരോന്റെ മകനായ എലെയാസാർ ഫൂതിയേലിന്റെ പെൺമക്കളിൽ ഒരുവളെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന് ഫീനെഹാസിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇവരായിരുന്നു ലേവ്യകുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ കുലംകുലമായുള്ള തലവന്മാർ.
26 These are Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, Bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, according to their armies.
“ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ ഗണംഗണമായി ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോരുക” എന്ന് യഹോവ കൽപ്പിച്ചത് ഇതേ അഹരോനോടും മോശയോടും ആയിരുന്നു.
27 These are that Moses and Aaron, which spake to Pharaoh King of Egypt, that they might bring the children of Israel out of Egypt.
ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു സംസാരിച്ചവരും ഇവരായിരുന്നു—ഈ മോശയും അഹരോനും.
28 And at that time when the Lord spake vnto Moses in the land of Egypt,
യഹോവ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽവെച്ചു മോശയോടു സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവിടന്ന്,
29 When the Lord, I say, spake vnto Moses, saying, I am the Lord, speake thou vnto Pharaoh the King of Egypt all that I say vnto thee,
“ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു പറയുക” എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.
30 Then Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of vncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh heare me?
എന്നാൽ മോശ യഹോവയോട്, “വാക്ചാതുര്യമില്ലാത്തവനാണു ഞാൻ; ഫറവോൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
