1 After this, Bezaleel made the Arke of Shittim wood, two cubites and an halfe long and a cubite and an halfe broade, and a cubite and an halfe hie:
Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Its length was two and a half cubits; its width was one cubit and a half; and its height was one cubit and a half.
2 And ouerlayde it with fine golde within and without, and made a crowne of golde to it rounde about,
He covered it inside and out with pure gold and made for it a border of gold around its top.
3 And cast for it foure rings of golde for the foure corners of it: that is, two rings for the one side of it, and two rings for the other side thereof.
He cast four rings of gold for its four feet, with two rings on one side of it, and two rings on the other side.
4 Also he made barres of Shittim wood, and couered them with golde,
He made poles of acacia wood and covered them with gold.
5 And put the barres in the rings by the sides of the Arke, to beare the Arke.
He put the poles into the rings on the ark's sides, in order to carry the ark.
6 And he made the Merciseate of pure golde: two cubites and an halfe was the length thereof, and one cubite and an halfe the breadth thereof.
He made an atonement lid of pure gold. Its length was two and a half cubits, and its width was one and a half cubits.
7 And he made two Cherubims of gold, vpon the two endes of the Merciseate: euen of worke beaten with the hammer made he them.
Bezalel made two cherubim of hammered gold for the two ends of the atonement lid.
8 One Cherub on the one ende, and another Cherub on the other ende: of the Merciseate made he the Cherubims, at ye two endes thereof.
One cherub was for one end of the atonement lid, and other cherub was for the other end. They were made as one piece with the atonement lid.
9 And the Cherubims spread out their wings on hie, and couered the Merciseat with their wings, and their faces were one towards another: towarde the Merciseat were the faces of the Cherubims.
The cherubim spread out their wings upward and overshadowed the atonement lid with them. The cherubim faced one another and looked toward the center of the atonement lid.
10 Also he made ye Table of Shittim wood: two cubites was the length thereof, and a cubite the breadth thereof, and a cubite and an halfe the height of it.
Bezalel made the table of acacia wood. Its length was two cubits, its width was one cubit, and its height was one and a half cubits.
11 And hee ouerlayde it with fine golde, and made thereto a crowne of golde round about.
He covered it with pure gold and put a border of pure gold around the top.
12 Also he made thereto a border of an hand breadth round about, and made vpon the border a crowne of golde round about.
He made a surrounding frame for it one handbreadth wide, with a surrounding border of gold for the frame.
13 And he cast for it foure rings of gold, and put the rings in the foure corners that were in the foure feete thereof.
He cast for it four rings of gold and attached the rings to the four corners, where the four feet were.
14 Against the border were the rings, as places for the barres to beare the Table.
The rings were attached to the frame to provide places for the poles, in order to carry the table.
15 And he made the barres of Shittim wood, and couered them with golde to beare the Table.
He made the poles out of acacia wood and covered them with gold, in order to carry the table.
16 Also he made the instruments for the Table of pure golde: dishes for it, and incense cuppes for it, and goblets for it, and couerings for it, wherewith it should be couered.
He made the objects that would be on the table—the dishes, spoons, the bowls, and pitchers to be used to pour out the offerings. He made them out of pure gold.
17 Likewise he made the Candlesticke of pure golde: of worke beaten out with the hammer made he the Candlesticke: and his shaft, and his branche, his bolles, his knops, and his floures were of one piece.
He made the lampstand of pure hammered gold. He made the lampstand with its base and shaft. Its cups, its leafy bases, and its flowers were all made of one piece with it.
18 And sixe branches came out of the sides thereof: three branches of the Candlesticke out of the one side of it, and three branches of the Candlesticke out of the other side of it.
Six branches extended out from its sides—three branches extended from one side, and three branches of the lampstand extended from the other side.
19 In one branche three bolles made like almondes, a knop and a floure: and in another branch three bolles made like almondes, a knop and a floure: and so throughout the sixe branches that proceeded out of the Candlesticke.
The first branch had three cups made like almond blossoms, with a leafy base and a flower, and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, with a leafy base and a flower. It was the same for all six branches extending out from the lampstand.
20 And vpon the Candlesticke were foure bolles after the facion of almondes, the knoppes thereof and the floures thereof:
On the lampstand itself, the central shaft, there were four cups made like almond blossoms, with their leafy bases and the flowers.
21 That is, vnder euery two branches a knop made thereof, and a knop vnder the second branch thereof, and a knop vnder the thirde branche thereof, according to the sixe branches comming out of it.
There was a leafy base under the first pair of branches—made as one piece with it, and a leafy base under the second pair of branches—also made as one piece with it. In the same way there was a leafy base under the third pair of branches, made as one piece with it. It was the same for all six branches extending out from the lampstand.
22 Their knops and their branches were of the same: it was all one beaten worke of pure gold.
Their leafy bases and branches were all one piece with it, one beaten piece of work of pure gold.
23 And he made for it seuen lampes with the snuffers, and snufdishes thereof of pure golde.
Bezalel made the lampstand and its seven lamps, its tongs and their trays of pure gold.
24 Of a talent of pure golde made he it with all the instruments thereof.
He made the lampstand and its accessories with one talent of pure gold.
25 Furthermore he made the perfume altar of Shittim wood: the length of it was a cubite, and the breadth of it a cubite (it was square) and two cubites hie, and the hornes thereof were of ye same.
Bezalel made the incense altar. He made it with acacia wood. Its length was one cubit, and its width one cubit. It was square, and its height was two cubits. Its horns were made as one piece with it.
26 And he couered it with pure gold, both the top and the sides thereof rounde about, and the hornes of it, and made vnto it a crowne of golde round about.
He covered the incense altar with pure gold—its top, its sides, and its horns. He also made a surrounding border of gold for it.
27 And he made two rings of gold for it, vnder the crowne thereof in the two corners of the two sides thereof, to put barres in for to beare it therewith.
He made two golden rings to be attached to it under its border on its two opposite sides. The rings were holders for poles to carry the altar.
28 Also he made the barres of Shittim wood, and ouerlayde them with golde.
He made the poles of acacia wood, and he covered them with gold.
29 And he made the holy anointing oyle, and the sweete pure incense after ye apothecaries arte.
He made the holy anointing oil and the pure fragrant incense, the work of a perfumer.
