Exodus 30
1 Fvrthermore thou shalt make an altar for sweete perfume, of Shittim wood thou shalt make it.
“ধূপ জ্বালানোর জন্য বাবলা কাঠ দিয়ে একটি বেদি তৈরি কোরো।
2 The length therof a cubite and the breadth thereof a cubite (it shalbe foure square) and the height thereof two cubites: the hornes thereof shalbe of the same,
এটি 45 সেন্টিমিটার করে লম্বা ও চওড়া, এবং 90 সেন্টিমিটার উঁচু বর্গাকার হবে—এর শিংগুলি এর সাথে একই টুকরো দিয়ে গড়া হবে।
3 And thou shalt ouerlay it with fine golde, both the toppe therof and the sides thereof round about, and his hornes: also thou shalt make vnto it a crowne of gold round about.
এর চূড়া ও সবদিক এবং শিংগুলি খাঁটি সোনা দিয়ে মুড়ে দিয়ো, এবং এর চারপাশে সোনার এক ছাঁচ তৈরি কোরো।
4 Besides this thou shalt make vnder this crowne two golden rings on either side: euen on euery side shalt thou make them, that they may be as places for the barres to beare it withall.
সেই ছাঁচের তলায় বেদিটির জন্য সোনার দুটি আংটা তৈরি কোরো—বেদিটি বহন করার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত খুঁটিগুলি ধরে রাখার জন্য বিপরীত দিকগুলির প্রত্যেকটিতে দুটি দুটি করে আংটা তৈরি কোরো।
5 The which barres thou shalt make of Shittim wood, and shalt couer them with golde.
বাবলা কাঠ দিয়ে খুঁটিগুলি তৈরি কোরো এবং সেগুলি সোনা দিয়ে মুড়ে দিয়ো।
6 After thou shalt set it before the vaile, that is neere the Arke of Testimonie, before the Merciseate that is vpon the Testimonie, where I will appoynt with thee.
যে পর্দাটি বিধিনিয়মের সিন্দুকটিকে আড়াল করে রাখে, সেটির সামনের দিকে—যে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত-আচ্ছাদনটি বিধিনিয়মের ফলকগুলির উপরে থাকে, সেটির সামনে—সেই বেদিটি রেখো, যেখানে আমি তোমার সাথে দেখা করব।
7 And Aaron shall burne thereon sweete incense euery morning: when hee dresseth the lampes thereof, shall he burne it.
“প্রতিদিন সকালে হারোণ যখন প্রদীপগুলি পরিষ্কার করবে তখন তাকে বেদিতে সুগন্ধি ধূপ জ্বালাতে হবে।
8 Likewise at eue, when Aaron setteth vp the lampes thereof, he shall burne incense: this perfume shalbe perpetually before ye Lord, throughout your generations.
আবার গোধূলিবেলায় সে যখন প্রদীপগুলি জ্বালাবে তখনও তাকে ধূপ জ্বালাতে হবে, যেন আগামী বংশপরম্পরায় সদাপ্রভুর সামনে নিয়মিতভাবে ধূপ জ্বলে।
9 Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor offring, neither powre any drinke offring thereon.
এই বেদিতে আর অন্য কোনো ধূপ বা কোনো হোমবলি বা শস্য-নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ কোরো না, এটির উপরে কোনো পেয়-নৈবেদ্য ঢেলো না।
10 And Aaron shall make reconciliation vpon the hornes of it once in a yere with the blood of the sinne offring in the day of reconciliation: once in the yeere shall hee make reconciliation vpon it throughout your generations: this is most holy vnto the Lord.
বছরে একবার হারোণ বেদির শিংগুলির উপরে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত সাধন করবে। এই বাৎসরিক প্রায়শ্চিত্তটি আগামী বংশপরম্পরায় প্রায়শ্চিত্তকারক পাপার্থক বলির রক্ত দিয়ে করতে হবে। সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে এটি অতি পবিত্র।”
11 Afterward the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
12 When thou takest the summe of the children of Israel after their nomber, then they shall giue euery man a redemption of his life vnto the Lord, when thou tellest them, that there bee no plague among the when thou countest them.
“ইস্রায়েলীদের সংখ্যা গণনা করার জন্য যখন তুমি তাদের জনগণনা করবে, তখন গণিত হওয়ার সময় প্রত্যেককে তার জীবনের জন্য সদাপ্রভুকে এক মুক্তিপণ দিতে হবে। তুমি তাদের সংখ্যা গণনা করার সময় তখন আর তাদের উপর কোনও আঘাত নেমে আসবে না।
13 This shall euery man giue, that goeth into the nomber, halfe a shekel, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie: (a shekel is twentie gerahs) the halfe shekel shalbe an offring to the Lord.
যারা ইতিমধ্যেই গণিত হয়ে গিয়েছে, সেই লোকজনের মধ্যে যে কেউ আসবে, তাকে পবিত্রস্থানের শেকল অনুসারে আধ শেকল দিতে হবে, এক শেকলের ওজন কুড়ি গেরা। এই আধ শেকল সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে দত্ত এক উপহার।
14 All that are nombred from twentie yeere olde and aboue, shall giue an offring to the Lord.
এদিকে আসা যাদের বয়স কুড়ি বছর বা তার বেশি, তারা সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে এক নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করবে।
15 The rich shall not passe, and the poore shall not diminish from halfe a shekel, when ye shall giue an offring vnto the Lord, for the redemption of your liues.
তোমাদের জীবনের জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করতে গিয়ে তুমি যখন সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করবে, তখন ধনবান লোক আধ শেকলের বেশি দেবে না এবং দরিদ্রও কম দেবে না।
16 So thou shalt take the money of the redemption of the children of Israel, and shalt put it vnto the vse of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, that it may be a memoriall vnto the children of Israel before the Lord for the redemption of your liues.
ইস্রায়েলীদের কাছ থেকে প্রায়শ্চিত্তকারী অর্থ গ্রহণ কোরো এবং সেই অর্থ সমাগম তাঁবুর সেবাকাজে ব্যবহার কোরো। সদাপ্রভুর সামনে ইস্রায়েলীদের জন্য এক স্মারক হয়ে থেকে তা তোমাদের জীবনের জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে।”
17 Also the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
18 Thou shalt also make a lauer of brasse, and his foote of brasse to wash, and shalt put it betweene the Tabernacle of the Congregation and the Altar, and shalt put water therein.
“ধোয়াধুয়ি করার জন্য ব্রোঞ্জের একটি গামলা ও ব্রোঞ্জ দিয়ে সেটির মাচাও তৈরি কোরো। সমাগম তাঁবুর ও বেদির মাঝখানে সেটি রেখো, এবং সেটিতে জল ভরে দিয়ো।
19 For Aaron and his sonnes shall wash their hands and their feete thereat.
সেখান থেকে জল নিয়ে হারোণ ও তার ছেলেদের তাদের হাত পা ধুতে হবে।
20 When they go into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, or when they goe vnto the Altar to minister and to make the perfume of ye burnt offring to the Lord, they shall wash themselues with water, lest they die.
যখনই তারা তাঁবুর ভিতরে প্রবেশ করবে, তারা জল দিয়ে নিজেদের ধুয়ে ফেলবে, যেন তারা মারা না যায়। এছাড়াও, যখন তারা সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে এক ভক্ষ্য-নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করার মাধ্যমে পরিচর্যা করার জন্য সেই বেদির নিকটবর্তী হবে,
21 So they shall wash their handes and their feete that they die not: and this shall be to them an ordinance for euer, both vnto him and to his seede throughout their generations.
তখনও তারা তাদের হাত পা ধুয়ে নেবে, যেন তারা মারা না যায়। আগামী বংশপরম্পরায় হারোণ ও তার বংশধরদের জন্য এ এক দীর্ঘস্থায়ী বিধি হবে।”
22 Also the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
23 Take thou also vnto thee, principall spices of the most pure myrrhe fiue hundreth shekels, of sweete cinamon halfe so much, that is, two hundreth and fiftie, and of sweete calamus, two hundreth, and fiftie:
“তুমি এই সুন্দর সুন্দর মশলাগুলি নিও: 500 শেকল তরল গন্ধরস, এর অর্ধেক পরিমাণ (অর্থাৎ 250 শেকল) সুগন্ধি দারুচিনি, 250 শেকল সুগন্ধি বচ,
24 Also of cassia fiue hundreth, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie, and of oyle oliue an Hin.
500 শেকল নীরসে ধরনের দারুচিনি—সবই পবিত্রস্থানের শেকল অনুসারে—এবং এক হিন জলপাই তেল।
25 So thou shalt make of it the oyle of holie oyntment, euen a most precious oyntment after the arte of the Apothecarie: this shalbe the oyle of holy oyntment.
এগুলি দিয়ে সুগন্ধি দ্রব্যাদির প্রস্তুতকারকের হস্তকলার মতো করে পবিত্র এক অভিষেক-তেল, সুগন্ধি এক মিশ্রণ তৈরি কোরো।
26 And thou shalt anoynt the Tabernacle of the Congregation therewith, and the Arke of the Testimonie:
পরে সমাগম তাঁবু, বিধিনিয়মের সিন্দুক,
27 Also the Table, and al the instruments thereof, and the Candlesticke, with all the instruments thereof, and the altar of incense:
টেবিল ও তার সব জিনিসপত্র, দীপাধার ও তার আনুষঙ্গিক উপকরণ, ধূপবেদি,
28 Also the Altar of burnt offring with al his instruments, and the lauer and his foote.
হোমবলির বেদি ও তার সব বাসনপত্র, এবং গামলা ও তার মাচাটি অভিষিক্ত করার জন্য তা ব্যবহার কোরো।
29 So thou shalt sanctifie them, and they shalbe most holy: all that shall touch them, shalbe holy.
সেগুলি তুমি পবিত্র করবে, যেন সেগুলি অতি পবিত্র হয়ে যায় এবং যা কিছু সেগুলির সংস্পর্শে আসবে সেগুলিও পবিত্র হয়ে যাবে।
30 Thou shalt also anoint Aaron and his sonnes, and shalt consecrate them, that they may minister vnto me in the Priests office.
“হারোণ ও তার ছেলেদের অভিষিক্ত এবং পবিত্র কোরো, যেন তারা যাজকরূপে আমার সেবা করতে পারে।
31 Moreouer thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, This shalbe an holy oynting oyle vnto me, throughout your generations.
ইস্রায়েলীদের বোলো, ‘আগামী বংশপরম্পরায় এটিই হবে আমার পবিত্র অভিষেক-তেল।
32 None shall anoynt, mans flesh therewith, neither shall ye make any composition like vnto it: for it is holy, and shalbe holy vnto you.
অন্য কোনো মানুষের দেহে এটি ঢেলো না এবং একই প্রস্তুতপ্রণালী ব্যবহার করে অন্য কোনো তেল তৈরি কোরো না। এটি পবিত্র, আর তোমাদের এটি পবিত্র বলেই গণ্য করতে হবে।
33 Whosoeuer shall make the like oyntment, or whosoeuer shall put any of it vpon a stranger, euen he shalbe cut off from his people.
যে কেউ এটির মতো সুগন্ধি তৈরি করে এবং একজন যাজক ছাড়া অন্য কোনো মানুষের গায়ে ঢেলে দেয়, তাকে তার লোকজনদের কাছ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হতে হবে।’”
34 And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Take vnto thee these spices, pure myrrhe and cleare gumme and galbanum, these odours with pure frankincense, of eche like weight:
পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন, “তুমি সমপরিমাণে সুগন্ধি মশলাপাতি—আঠা রজন, নখী, কুন্দুরু—এবং খাঁটি গুগগুল নিয়ো,
35 Then thou shalt make of them perfume composed after the arte of the apothecarie, mingled together, pure and holy.
এবং একজন সুগন্ধি দ্রব্যাদি প্রস্তুতকারকের হস্তকলার মতো করে ধূপের এক সুগন্ধি মিশ্রণ তৈরি কোরো। এটি যেন লবণাক্ত এবং খাঁটি ও পবিত্র হয়।
36 And thou shalt beate it to pouder, and shalt put of it before the Arke of the Testimonie in the Tabernacle of ye Cogregatio, where I wil make appointmet with thee: it shalbe vnto you most holy.
তা থেকে কিছুটা পিষে গুঁড়ো করে নিও এবং তা সমাগম তাঁবুতে বিধিনিয়মের সেই সিন্দুকটির সামনে এনে রেখো, যেখানে আমি তোমার সাথে দেখা করব। এটি তোমাদের কাছে অতি পবিত্র হবে।
37 And ye shall not make vnto you any composition like this perfume, which thou shalt make: it shalbe vnto thee holy for the Lord.
এই প্রস্তুতপ্রণালী দিয়ে নিজেদের জন্য তোমরা কোনো ধূপ তৈরি কোরো না; সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে এটি পবিত্র বলে গণ্য কোরো।
38 Whosoeuer shall make like vnto that to smelll thereto, euen he shalbe cut off from his people.
যে কেউ এটির সুগন্ধ উপভোগ করার জন্য এটির মতো ধূপ তৈরি করবে, তাকে তার লোকজনদের কাছ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হতে হবে।”
