Exodus 28
1 And cause thou thy brother Aaron to come vnto thee and his sonnes with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may serue me in the Priestes office: I meane Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar Aarons sonnes.
Und du sollst deinen Bruder Aaron und seine Söhne mit ihm zu dir nahen lassen aus den Kindern Israel, daß er mein Priester sei, nämlich Aaron und seine Söhne, Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Itamar.
2 Also thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, glorious and beautifull.
Und du sollst deinem Bruder Aaron heilige Kleider machen zur Ehre und zur Zierde.
3 Therefore thou shalt speake vnto al cunning men, whome I haue filled with the spirite of wisedome, that they make Aarons garments to consecrate him, that he may serue me in the Priestes office.
Und sollst reden mit allen, die eines weisen Herzens sind, die ich mit dem Geist der Weisheit erfüllt habe, daß sie dem Aaron Kleider machen, ihn zu heiligen und mir zum Priester zu weihen.
4 Nowe these shall be the garments, which they shall make, a brest plate, and an Ephod, and a robe, and a broydred coate, a miter, and a girdle. so these holy garments shall they make for Aaron thy brother, and for his sonnes, that he may serue me in the Priests office.
Das sind aber die Kleider, welche sie machen sollen: Ein Brustschildlein, ein Ephod, einen Rock und einen Leibrock von gewürfeltem Stoff, Kopfbund und Gürtel. Also sollen sie deinem Bruder Aaron und seinen Söhnen heilige Kleider machen, daß er mein Priester sei.
5 Therefore they shall take golde, and blew silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linnen,
Dazu sollen sie Gold nehmen und Stoffe von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesinfarbe und von weißer Baumwolle.
6 And they shall make the Ephod of gold, blewe silke, and purple, skarlet, and fine twined linen of broydred worke.
Das Ephod sollen sie machen von Gold und aus Stoff von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesinfarbe und gezwirnter weißer Baumwolle, künstlich gezwirnt.
7 The two shoulders thereof shalbe ioyned together by their two edges: so shall it be closed.
Zwei verbundene Schulterstücke soll es haben, an seinen beiden Enden verbunden.
8 And the embroydred garde of the same Ephod, which shalbe vpon him, shall be of the selfe same worke and stuffe, euen of golde, blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen.
Die künstliche Arbeit aber seines Gürtels, welcher darauf liegt, soll von der gleichen Arbeit sein, von Gold, aus Stoff von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesinfarbe und von gezwirnter weißer Baumwolle.
9 And thou shalt take two onix stones, and graue vpon them the names of the children of Israel:
Und du sollst zwei Schohamsteine nehmen und die Namen der Kinder Israel darauf graben,
10 Sixe names of them vpon the one stone, and the sixe names that remaine, vpon the seconde stone, according to their generations.
sechs Namen derselben auf den einen Stein und die sechs übrigen Namen auf den andern Stein, nach ihren Geschlechtern.
11 Thou shalt cause to graue the two stones according to the names of the children of Israel by a grauer of signets, that worketh and graueth in stone, and shalt make them to be set and embossed in golde.
Steinschneiderarbeit soll es sein, von Siegelstechern; die Namen der Kinder Israel sollst du auf die beiden Steine stechen und sie mit Gold einfassen lassen.
12 And thou shalt put the two stones vpon the shoulders of the Ephod, as stones of remebrance of the children of Israel: for Aaron shall beare their names before the Lord vpon his two shoulders for a remembrance.
Und sollst sie auf die Schulterstücke des Ephod heften, daß sie Steine des Gedächtnisses seien für die Kinder Israel; daß Aaron ihre Namen auf seinen beiden Schultern trage vor dem HERRN, zum Gedächtnis.
13 So thou shalt make bosses of golde,
Und du sollst goldene Einfassungen machen,
14 And two cheynes of fine golde at the ende, of wrethed worke shalt thou make them, and shalt fasten the wrethed cheynes vpon the bosses.
und zwei gewundene Ketten von reinem Gold, und sollst die zwei gewundenen Ketten an der Einfassung befestigen.
15 Also thou shalt make the brest plate of iudgement with broydred worke: like the worke of the Ephod shalt thou make it: of gold, blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen shalt thou make it.
Das Brustschildlein für die Rechtspflege soll ein Kunstwerk sein wie das Ephod, von Gold, aus Stoffen von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesinfarbe und gezwirnter weißer Baumwolle.
16 Foure square it shall be and double, an hand bredth long and an hand bredth broade.
Viereckig soll es sein und zweifach, eine Spanne lang und eine Spanne breit.
17 Then thou shalt set it full of places for stones, euen foure rowes of stones: the order shalbe this, a rubie, a topaze, and a carbuncle in the first rowe.
Und du sollst es mit vier Reihen von Steinen besetzen. Die erste Reihe sei ein Rubin, ein Topas und ein Smaragd;
18 And in the seconde rowe thou shalt set an emeraude, a saphir, and a diamonde.
die zweite Reihe ein Granat, ein Saphir und ein Diamant;
19 And in the third rowe a turkeis, an achate, and an hematite.
die dritte Reihe ein Opal, ein Achat, ein Amethyst;
20 And in the fourth rowe a chrysolite, an onix, and a iasper: and they shall be set in golde in their embossements.
die vierte Reihe ein Chrysolith, ein Schoham und ein Jaspis. In Gold sollen sie gefaßt sein bei ihrer Einsetzung.
21 And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelue, according to their names, grauen as signets, euerye one after his name, and they shall bee for the twelue tribes.
Und diese Steine sollen nach den zwölf Namen der Kinder Israel lauten und von Steinschneidern gestochen sein, ein Stein für jeden Namen der zwölf Stämme.
22 Then thou shalt make vpon the breast plate two cheines at the endes of wrethen worke of pure golde.
Und du sollst für das Brustschildlein gewundene Ketten machen von lauterem Golde,
23 Thou shalt make also vpon the brest plate two rings of golde, and put the two rings on the two endes of the brest plate.
und zwei goldene Ringe, also daß du dieselben beiden Ringe an zwei Ecken des Brustschildes heftest
24 And thou shalt put the two wrethen chaynes of golde in the two rings in the endes of the brest plate.
und die beiden goldenen, gewundenen Ketten in die zwei Ringe tuest, die an den beiden Enden des Brustschildleins sind.
25 And the other two endes of the two wrethen cheines, thou shalt fasten in ye two embossements, and shalt put them vpon the shoulders of the Ephod on the foreside of it.
Aber die beiden andern Enden der zwei gewundenen Ketten sollst du in die beiden Einfassungen tun und sie einander gegenüber auf die Schulterstücke des Ephod heften.
26 Also thou shalt make two rings of gold, which thou shalt put in the two other endes of the brest plate, vpon the border thereof, towarde the inside of the Ephod.
Und du sollst zwei andere goldene Ringe machen und sie an die andern beiden Ecken des Brustschildleins heften, nämlich an seinen Saum, welcher inwendig dem Ephod zugekehrt ist.
27 And two other rings of golde thou shalt make, and put them on the two sides of the Ephod, beneath in the forepart of it ouer against the coupling of it vpon the broydred garde of the Ephod.
Und sollst noch zwei goldene Ringe machen und sie auf die beiden Schulterstücke des Ephod heften, unterhalb, einander gegenüber, dort wo das Ephod zusammengeht, oben an dem Gürtel des Ephod.
28 Thus they shall binde the brest plate by his rings vnto the rings of the Ephod, with a lace of blewe silke, that it may be fast vpon the broydred garde of the Ephod, and that the brest plate be not loosed from the Ephod.
Und man soll das Brustschildlein mit seinen Ringen mit einer Schnur von blauem Purpur an die Ringe des Ephod knüpfen, daß es an dem Gürtel des Ephod hart anliege und das Brustschildlein sich nicht von dem Ephod losmache.
29 So Aaron shall beare the names of the children of Israel in the brest plate of iudgement vpon his heart, when he goeth into the holy place, for a remembrance continually before the Lord.
Also soll Aaron die Namen der Kinder Israel in dem Brustschildlein für die Rechtspflege auf seinem Herzen tragen, wenn er in das Heilige geht, zum Gedächtnis vor dem HERRN, allezeit.
30 Also thou shalt put in the brest plate of iudgement the Vrim and the Thummim, which shalbe vpon Aarons heart, when he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall beare the iudgement of the children of Israel vpon his heart before the Lord continually.
Und du sollst in das Brustschildlein für die Rechtspflege das Licht und Recht legen, daß sie auf dem Herzen Aarons seien, wenn er hineingeht vor dem HERRN; und also soll Aaron die Rechtspflege der Kinder Israel allezeit auf seinem Herzen tragen vor dem HERRN.
31 And thou shalt make the robe of the Ephod altogether of blewe silke.
Du sollst auch den Rock zum Ephod ganz von blauem Purpur machen.
32 And the hole for his head shalbe in the middes of it, hauing an edge of wouen woorke rounde about the coller of it: so it shalbe as the coller of an habergeon that it rent not.
Und oben in der Mitte soll eine Öffnung sein, und ein Saum um die Öffnung her gewoben, wie der Saum eines Panzers, damit er nicht zerreiße.
33 And beneath vpon the skirtes thereof thou shalt make pomegranates of blew silke, and purple, and skarlet, round about the skirts thereof, and belles of gold betweene them round about:
Und unten, an seinem Saum, sollst du Granatäpfel machen aus Stoffen von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesinfarbe, ringsum, und goldene Schellen zwischen dieselben, auch ringsum,
34 That is, a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate rounde about vpon the skirtes of the robe.
daß eine goldene Schelle sei, darnach ein Granatapfel, und wieder eine goldene Schelle, darnach ein Granatapfel, ringsum an dem Saum des Rocks.
35 So it shalbe vpon Aaron, when he ministreth, and his sound shalbe heard, when he goeth into the holy place before the Lord, and when he commeth out, and he shall not dye.
Und Aaron soll ihn tragen, wenn er dient, daß man seinen Klang höre, wenn er hineingeht in das Heiligtum vor dem HERRN und wenn er hinausgeht, auf daß er nicht sterbe.
36 Also thou shalt make a plate of pure golde, and graue thereon, as signets are grauen, Holines To The Lord,
Du sollst auch ein Stirnblatt von reinem Golde machen und darein graben in Siegelschrift: Heilig dem HERRN!
37 And thou shalt put it on a blew silke lace, and it shalbe vpon the miter: euen vpon the fore front of the miter shall it be.
und sollst dasselbe anheften mit einer Schnur von blauem Purpur, daß es an dem Kopfbunde sei; vorn am Kopfbund soll es sein;
38 So it shalbe vpon Aarons forehead, that Aaron may beare the iniquitie of the offrings, which the children of Israel shall offer in all their holy offrings: and it shall be alwayes vpon his forehead, to make them acceptable before the Lord.
und es soll auf Aarons Stirne sein, damit Aaron die Verschuldung trage in betreff der heiligen Gaben, welche die Kinder Israel weihen, welcherlei heilige Opfergaben sie auch darbringen mögen. Und es soll allezeit auf seiner Stirne sein, um sie wohlgefällig zu machen vor dem HERRN.
39 Likewise thou shalt embroyder the fine line coat, and thou shalt make a miter of fine line, but thou shalt make a girdell of needle worke.
Den Leibrock sollst du weben von weißer Baumwolle und einen gestickten Gürtel machen.
40 Also thou shalt make for Aarons sonnes coates, and thou shalt make the girdels, and bonets shalt thou make them for glorie and comelinesse.
Gleicherweise sollst du den Söhnen Aarons Leibröcke, Gürtel und Kopfbünde machen zur Ehre und zur Zierde.
41 And thou shalt put them vpon Aaron thy brother, and on his sonnes with him, and shalt anoint them, and fill their handes, and sanctifie them, that they may minister vnto me in the Priestes office.
Und sollst sie deinem Bruder Aaron samt seinen Söhnen anlegen, und sie salben und ihre Hände füllen und sie weihen, daß sie meine Priester seien.
42 Thou shalt also make them linen breeches to couer their priuities: from the loynes vnto the thighs shall they reache.
Und sollst ihnen leinene Beinkleider machen, die Blöße zu bedecken, von den Lenden bis an die Hüften.
43 And they shalbe for Aaron and his sonnes when they come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, or whe they come vnto the altar to minister in the holy place, that they commit not iniquitie, and so die. This shalbe a lawe for euer vnto him and to his seede after him.
Und Aaron und seine Söhne sollen sie tragen, wenn sie in die Stiftshütte gehen oder zum Altare treten, zum Dienst am Heiligtum, damit sie keine Schuld auf sich laden und nicht sterben müssen. Das sei eine ewige Ordnung für ihn und seinen Samen nach ihm!
