Exodus 20
1 Then God spake all these wordes, saying,
Ug ang Dios misulti niining tanan nga mga pulong, nga nagaingon:
2 I am the Lord thy God, which haue brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Ako mao si Jehova nga imong Dios, nga nagbawi kanimo gikan sa yuta sa Egipto gikan sa balay sa pagkaulipon.
3 Thou shalt haue none other Gods before me.
Dili ka magbaton ug lain nga mga dios sa atubangan ko.
4 Thou shalt make thee no grauen image, neither any similitude of things that are in heauen aboue, neither that are in the earth beneath, nor that are in the waters vnder the earth.
Alang kanimo dili ka magbuhat ug usa ka larawan nga linilok bisan sa dagway sa bisan unsang butanga nga atua sa itaas sa langit, kun dinhi sa ilalum sa yuta, kun sa anaa sa tubig sa ilalum sa yuta:
5 Thou shalt not bowe downe to them, neither serue them: for I am the Lord thy God, a ielous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, vpon the third generation and vpon the fourth of them that hate me:
Dili mo iyukbo ang imong kaugalingon kanila, ni mag-alagad kanila; kay ako si Jehova nga imong Dios, mao ang Dios nga abughoan, nga nagadu-aw sa pagkadautan sa mga amahan sa ibabaw sa mga anak, sa ibabaw sa ikatolo ug sa ibabaw sa ikaupat ka kaliwatan sa mga nagadumot kanako,
6 And shewing mercie vnto thousandes to them that loue me, and keepe my commandemets.
Ug nagapakita ako sa mahigugmaong kalolot alang sa linibo kanila nga nahigugma kanako, ug nagabantay sa akong mga sugo.
7 Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vaine: for the Lord will not hold him guiltles that taketh his Name in vayne.
Dili mo paggamiton ang ngalan ni Jehova nga imong Dios sa pasipala; kay si Jehova dili mag-isip nga walay sala niadtong nagagamit sa iyang ngalan sa pasipala.
8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keepe it holy.
Hinumduman mo ang adlaw nga igpapahulay, aron sa pagbalaan niini.
9 Sixe dayes shalt thou labour, and doe all thy worke,
Sa unom ka adlaw magbuhat ka, ug buhaton mo ang tanan nga imong bulohaton;
10 But the seuenth day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any worke, thou, nor thy sonne, nor thy daughter, thy man seruant, nor thy mayde, nor thy beast, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates.
Apan ang adlaw nga ikapito maoy usa ka adlaw nga igpapahulay alang kang Jehova nga imong Dios. Niining adlawa dili ka magbuhat, ikaw, bisan ang imong anak nga lalake, bisan ang imong anak nga babaye, bisang ang imong sulogoon nga lalake, bisan ang imong sulogoon nga babaye, bisan ang imong kahayupan, bisan ang imong dumuloong nga anaa sa sulod sa imong mga pultahan.
11 For in sixe dayes the Lord made the heauen and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seuenth day: therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Kay sa unom ka adlaw gibuhat ni Jehova ang langit ug ang yuta, ang dagat, ug ang tanan nga anaa niini, ug mipahulay sa ikapito ka adlaw; busa gipanalanginan ni Jehova ang adlaw nga igpapahulay, ug gibalaan niya kini.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy dayes may be prolonged vpon the land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee.
Tahuron mo ang imong amahan ug ang imong inahan, aron magahataas ang imong mga adlaw sa yuta nga ginahatag kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
Dili ka magpatay.
14 Thou shalt not commit adulterie.
Dili ka magpanapaw.
15 Thou shalt not steale.
Dili ka magpangawat.
16 Thou shalt not beare false witnes against thy neighbour.
Dili ka magsaksi ug bakak batok sa imong isigkatawo.
17 Thou shalt not couet thy neighbours house, neither shalt thou couet thy neighbours wife, nor his man seruant, nor his mayde, nor his oxe, nor his asse, neyther any thing that is thy neighbours.
Dili ka maibug sa balay sa imong isigkatawo; dili ka maibug sa asawa sa imong isigkatawo, ni sa iyang sulogoon nga lalake, ni sa iyang sulogoon nga babaye, ni sa iyang vaca, ni sa iyang asno, ni sa unsang butanga nga iya sa imong isigkatawo.
18 And all the people sawe the thunders, and the lightnings, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mountaine smoking and when the people saw it they fled and stoode afare off,
Ug ang tanan nga katawohan nahibalo nga dihay mga dalogdog ug mga kilat, ug tingog sa budyong, ug sa bukid nga nag-aso; ug sa nakakita ang katawohan niini, mikurog sila, ug nanagpahalayo sila.
19 And sayde vnto Moses, Talke thou with vs, and we will heare: but let not God talke with vs, lest we die.
Ug miingon sila kang Moises: Makigsulti ka kanamo, ug kami magapatalinghug: apan ang Dios ayaw pasultiha kanamo aron kami dili mamatay.
20 Then Moses sayde vnto the people, Feare not: for God is come to proue you, and that his feare may be before you, that ye sinne not.
Ug si Moises miingon sa katawohan: Dili kamo mahadlok: kay ang Dios mianhi sa pagsulay kaninyo, ug aron ang pagkahadlok kaniya mahianha sa inyong atubangan aron kamo dili magpakasala.
21 So the people stoode afarre off, but Moses drew neere vnto the darkenes where God was.
Ug ang katawohan nanagpanindog sa halayo, ug si Moises miduol sa mabaga nga kangitngit, diin didto ang Dios.
22 And the Lord sayde vnto Moses, Thus thou shalt say vnto the children of Israel, Ye haue seene that I haue talked with you from heauen.
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Sa ingon niini magapamulong ka sa mga anak sa Israel: Kamo sa inyong kaugalingon nakakita nga ako nagsulti kaninyo gikan sa langit.
23 Ye shall not make therefore with me gods of siluer, nor gods of golde: you shall make you none.
Dili kamo magbuhat ug laing dios uban kanako; mga dios nga salapi, kun mga dios nga bulawan, dili kamo magbuhat niini alang kaninyo.
24 An altar of earth thou shalt make vnto me, and thereon shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheepe, and thine oxen: in all places, where I shall put the remembrance of my Name, I will come vnto thee, and blesse thee.
Usa ka halaran nga yuta pagabuhaton mo alang kanako, ug maghalad ka sa ibabaw niini sa imong mga halad-nga-sinunog, ug ang imong mga halad-sa-pakigdait, ang imong mga carnero, ug ang imong mga vaca: sa bisan diin nga dapit nga didto pagabuhaton ko ang pagpahinumdum sa akong ngalan, moanha ako kanimo, ug pagapanalanginan ko ikaw.
25 But if thou wilt make mee an altar of stone, thou shalt not buylde it of hewen stones: for if thou lift vp thy toole vpon them, thou hast polluted them.
Ug kong magatukod ikaw alang kanako ug usa ka halaran nga bato, dili mo pagtukoron kini sa mga bato nga sinapsapan, kay kong magbakyaw ka sa imong galamiton sa ibabaw niini, gihugawan mo kini.
26 Neither shalt thou goe vp by steppes vnto mine altar, that thy filthines be not discouered thereon.
Ug dili ka magsaka sa mga ang-ang sa akong halaran, aron dili madayag diha ang imong pagkahubo.
