Exodus 19
1 In the third moneth, after the children of Israel were gone out of the lande of Egypt, the same day came they into the wildernes of Sinai.
Sa ikatolo ka bulan human ang mga anak sa Israel makagula gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, niadtong maong adlaw mingdangat sila sa kamingawan sa Sinai.
2 For they departed from Rephidim, and came to the desart of Sinai, and camped in the wildernesse: euen there Israel camped before the mount.
Ug sa nakalakaw sila gikan sa Repidim, ug miabut sila sa kamingawan sa Sinai, mingpahamutang sila sa kamingawan; ug didto ang Israel mingpahaluna sa atubangan sa bukid.
3 But Moses went vp vnto God, for ye Lord had called out of the mount vnto him, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Iaakob, and tell the children of Israel,
Ug si Moises mitungas ngadto sa Dios, ug si Jehova nagtawag kaniya gikan sa bukid, nga nagaingon: Sa ingon niini ikaw magapamulong sa panimalay ni Jacob, ug sultihi ang mga anak sa Israel:
4 Ye haue seene what I did vnto the Egyptians, and how I caryed you vpon eagles wings, and haue brought you vnto me.
Kamo nanagpakakita sa gibuhat ko sa mga Egiptohanon, ug giunsa ko pagdala kamo sa ibabaw sa mga pako sa mga agila, ug gidala ko kamo nganhi kanako.
5 Now therefore if ye wil heare my voyce in deede, and keepe my couenant, then ye shalbe my chiefe treasure aboue all people, though all the earth be mine.
Busa karon, kong kamo magapatalinghug gayud sa akong tingog, ug magabantay kamo sa akong tugon, nan kamo mamahimo nga akong kaugalingon nga bahandi gikan sa kinataliwad-an sa tanang mga katawohan: kay ang tibook nga yuta, ako man:
6 Yee shall be vnto mee also a kingdome of Priestes, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel.
Ug alang kanako kamo mahimo nga usa ka gingharian sa mga sacerdote, ug usa ka balaan nga nasud. Kini mao ang mga pulong nga igapamulong mo sa mga anak sa Israel.
7 Moses then came and called for the Elders of the people, and proposed vnto them all these things, which the Lord commanded him.
Ug milugsong si Moises ug gipatawag niya ang mga anciano sa katawohan ug gipahayag niya sa atubangan nila kining tanan nga mga pulong nga gisugo kaniya ni Jehova.
8 And the people answered all together, and sayd, All that the Lord hath commanded, we will doe. And Moses reported the wordes of the people vnto the Lord.
Ug ang tanan nga katawohan nanagdungan sa pagtubag, ug miingon: Ang tanan nga giingon ni Jehova among pagabuhaton. Ug si Moises nagsugilon sa mga pulong sa katawohan ngadto kang Jehova.
9 And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Lo, I come vnto thee in a thicke cloude, that the people may heare, whiles I talke with thee, and that they may also beleeue thee for euer. (for Moses had tolde the wordes of the people vnto the Lord)
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Ania karon, ako mianhi kanimo sa usa ka mabagang panganod, aron ang katawohan makadungog sa diha nga magasulti ako kanimo, ug motoo usab kanimo sa kanunay. Ug gisugilon ni Moises ang mga pulong sa katawohan ngadto kang Jehova.
10 Moreouer, the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Goe to the people, and sanctifie them to day and to morow, and let them wash their clothes.
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Umadto ka sa katawohan ug pagbalaanon mo sila karon ug ugma, ug palabhan mo kanila ang mga bisti nila,
11 And let them be ready on the third day: for the thirde day the Lord will come downe in the sight of all the people vpon mount Sinai:
Ug paandama sila alang sa ikatolo ka adlaw; kay sa ikatolo ka adlaw mokunsad si Jehova nga makita sa tanan nga katawohan sa ibabaw sa bukid sa Sinai.
12 And thou shalt set markes vnto the people rounde about, saying, Take heede to your selues that ye goe not vp the mount, nor touche the border of it: whosoeuer toucheth the mount, shall surely die.
Ug palibutan mo ug utlanan ang katawohan, sa pag-ingon: Magmatngon kamo sa inyong kaugalingon, nga dili kamo magtungas sa bukid, ni maghikap kamo sa utlanan niini; bisan kinsa nga maghikap sa bukid, pagapatyon gayud.
13 No hand shall touche it, but he shalbe stoned to death, or striken through with darts: whether it be beast or man, he shall not liue: when the horne bloweth long, they shall come vp into the mountaine.
Walay kamot nga magahikap niini, kay pagabatoon siya kun pagapanaon siya; bisan mananap kun tawo, dili siya pagabuhion. Kong ang budyong patunggon sa hataas gayud, managpanungas sila sa bukid.
14 Then Moses went downe from ye mount vnto the people, and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.
Ug milugsong si Moises gikan sa bukid padulong sa katawohan, ug gibalaan niya ang katawohan; ug gipanlabhan nila ang ilang mga bisti.
15 And he said vnto the people, Be ready on the third day, and come not at your wiues.
Ug miingon siya sa katawohan: Panag-andam kamo alang sa ikatolo ka adlaw dili kamo managpanuol sa usa ka babaye.
16 And the thirde day, when it was morning, there was thunders and lightnings, and a thicke cloude vpon the mount, and the sounde of the trumpet exceeding loude, so that all the people, that was in the campe, was afrayde.
Ug nahatabo nga sa ikatolo ka adlaw, sa pagkabuntag, nga may mga dalogdog ug mga kilat, ug ang mabagang panganod diha sa ibabaw sa bukid, ug ang tingog sa budyong nga hilabihan kakusog; ug mikurog ang tanan nga katawohan nga diha sa campo.
17 Then Moses brought the people out of the tents to meete with God, and they stoode in the nether part of the mount.
Ug gidala ni Moises ang katawohan gikan sa campo sa pagsugat sa Dios; ug nanindog sila sa ubos sa bukid.
18 And mount Sinai was all on smoke, because the Lord came downe vpon it in fire, and the smoke therof ascended, as the smoke of a fornace, and all the mount trembled exceedingly.
Ug ang tibook nga bukid sa Sinai miaso, kay si Jehova mikunsad sa ibabaw niini sa kalayo: ug ang aso niini nagautbo ingon sa aso sa usa ka hudno, ug ang tibook nga bukid nauyog sa hilabihan gayud.
19 And when the sound of the trumpet blew long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by voyce.
Ug sa nagaanam ug kakusog ang tingog sa budyong, si Moises misulti, ug ang Dios mitubag kaniya sa usa ka tingog.
20 (For the Lord came downe vpon mount Sinai on the toppe of the mount) and when the Lord called Moses vp into the top of the mount, Moses went vp.
Ug si Jehova mikunsad sa ibabaw sa bukid sa Sinai, sa ibabaw sa kinatumyan sa bukid: ug si Jehova nagtawag kang Moises ngadto sa kinatumyan sa bukid; ug si Moises mitungas.
21 Then the Lord said vnto Moses, Go down, charge the people, that they breake not their boundes, to go vp to the Lord to gaze, least many of them perish.
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Lumugsong ka ug sugoon mo ang katawohan tingali unya molabang sila sa utlanan sa pagtutok kang Jehova, ug mangamatay ang daghanan kanila.
22 And let the Priestes also which come to the Lord be sanctified, least the Lord destroy them.
Ug ang mga sacerdote usab nga magaduol kang Jehova, managbalaan sila sa ilang kaugalingon, tingali hinoon si Jehova modasmag kanila.
23 And Moses sayde vnto the Lord, The people can not come vp into the mount Sinai: for thou hast charged vs, saying, Set markes on the mountaine, and sanctifie it.
Ug si Moises miingon kang Jehova: Ang katawohan dili arang makatungas sa bukid sa Sinai, kay ikaw nagsugo kanamo nga nagaingon: Magbutang ka ug mga utlanan libut sa bukid, ug magbalaan ka niini.
24 And the Lord sayd vnto him, Go, get thee downe, and come vp, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the Priestes and the people breake their boundes to come vp vnto the Lord, least he destroy them.
Ug si Jehova miingon kaniya: Lumakaw ka, lumugsong ka, ug tumungas ka ug si Aaron uban kanimo: apan ayaw pagtugoti ang mga sacerdote ug ang katawohan sa paglapas sa utlanan sa pagtungas kang Jehova, tingali unya siya modasmag kanila.
25 So Moses went downe vnto the people, and tolde them.
Busa si Moises milugsong ngadto sa katawohan ug misulti kanila.
