Exodus 15
1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song vnto the Lord, and sayd in this maner, I will sing vnto the Lord: for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and him that rode vpon him hath he ouerthrowen in the Sea.
Entonces cantó Moisés y los hijos de Israel esta canción a Jehová, y dijeron: Yo cantaré a Jehová, porque se ha magnificado grandemente, echando en la mar al caballo y al que subía en él.
2 The Lord is my strength and praise, and he is become my saluation. He is my God, and I will prepare him a tabernacle. he is my fathers God, and I will exalt him.
Jehová es mi fortaleza, y mi canción, el cual me es por salud: este es mi Dios, y a este adoraré: Dios de mi padre, y a este ensalzaré.
3 The Lord is a man of warre, his Name is Iehouah.
Jehová, varón de guerra: Jehová es su nombre.
4 Pharaohs charets and his host hath he cast into the Sea: his chosen captaines also were drowned in the red Sea.
Los carros de Faraón, y a su ejército echó en la mar, y sus escogidos príncipes fueron hundidos en el mar Bermejo.
5 The depths haue couered them, they sanke to the bottome as a stone.
Los abismos los cubrieron, como una piedra, descendieron a los profundos.
6 Thy right hande, O Lord, is glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath brused the enemie.
Tu diestra, oh Jehová, ha sido magnificada en fortaleza; tu diestra, oh Jehová, ha quebrantado al enemigo.
7 And in thy great glorie thou hast ouerthrowen them that rose against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as the stubble.
Y con la multitud de tu grandeza has trastornado a los que se levantaron contra ti: enviaste tu furor, el cual los tragó como a hojarasca.
8 And by the blast of thy nostrels the waters were gathered, the floods stoode still as an heape, the depthes congealed together in the heart of the Sea.
Con el soplo de tus narices las aguas se amontonaron; paráronse las corrientes, como en un montón; los abismos se cuajaron en medio de la mar:
9 The enemie sayd, I wil pursue, I wil ouertake them, I will deuide the spoyle, my lust shall bee satisfied vpon them, I will drawe my sworde, mine hand shall destroy them.
El enemigo dijo: Perseguiré, prenderé, repartiré despojos, mi alma se henchirá de ellos: sacaré mi espada, destruirlos ha mi mano.
10 Thou blewest with thy winde, the Sea couered them, they sanke as leade in the mightie waters.
Soplaste con tu viento, cubriólos la mar: hundiéronse como plomo en las vehementes aguas.
11 Who is like vnto thee, O Lord, among the Gods! who is like thee so glorious in holinesse, fearefull in prayses, doing wonders!
¿Quién como tú, oh Jehová? ¿quién como tú, magnífico en santidad, terrible en loores, hacedor de maravillas?
12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hande, the earth swallowed them.
En extendiendo tu diestra, la tierra los tragó.
13 Thou wilt by thy mercie cary this people, which thou deliueredst: thou wilt bring them in thy strength vnto thine holy habitation.
Llevaste con tu misericordia a este pueblo, al cual salvaste; llevástele con tu fortaleza a la habitación de tu santuario.
14 The people shall heare and be afraide: sorow shall come vpon the inhabitants of Palestina.
Oiránlo los pueblos, y temblarán; dolor tomará a los moradores de Palestina.
15 Then the dukes of Edom shalbe amased, and trembling shall come vpon the great men of Moab: all the inhabitantes of Canaan shall waxe faint hearted.
Entonces los príncipes de Edom se turbarán, a los robustos de Moab temblor los tomará: desleirse han todos los moradores de Canaán.
16 Feare and dread shall fall vpon them: because of the greatnesse of thine arme, they shalbe stil as a stone, till thy people passe, O Lord: til this people passe, which thou hast purchased.
Caiga sobre ellos temblor y espanto: a la grandeza de tu brazo enmudezcan como una piedra, hasta que haya pasado tu pueblo, oh Jehová, hasta que haya pasado este pueblo, que tú rescataste.
17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountaine of thine inheritance, which is the place that thou hast prepared, O Lord, for to dwell in, euen the sanctuarie, O Lord, which thine hands shall establish.
Tú los meterás y los plantarás en el monte de tu heredad, en el lugar de tu morada, que tú has aparejado, oh Jehová, en el santuario del Señor, que han afirmado tus manos.
18 The Lord shall reigne for euer and euer.
Jehová reinará por el siglo, y más adelante.
19 For Pharaohs horses went with his charets and horsemen into the Sea, and the Lord brought the waters of the Sea vpon them: but the children of Israel went on drie land in the middes of the Sea.
Porque Faraón entró cabalgando con sus carros y su gente de a caballo en la mar; y Jehová volvió a traer sobre ellos las aguas de la mar; mas los hijos de Israel fueron en seco por medio de la mar.
20 And Miriam the prophetesse, sister of Aaron tooke a timbrell in her hande, and all the women came out after her with timbrels and daunces.
Y María profetisa, hermana de Aarón, tomó el adufre en su mano; y todas las mujeres salieron en pos de ella con adufres y corros.
21 And Miriam answered the men, Sing yee vnto the Lord: for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath hee ouerthrowen in the Sea.
Y María les respondía: Cantád a Jehová; porque se ha magnificado grandemente, echando en la mar al caballo, y al que subía en él.
22 Then Moses brought Israel from the redde Sea, and they went out into the wildernesse of Shur: and they went three dayes in the wildernesse, and found no waters.
E hizo Moisés que partiese Israel del mar Bermejo, y salieron al desierto del Sur, y anduvieron tres días por el desierto que no hallaron agua.
23 And whe they came to Marah, they could not drinke of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of the place was called Marah.
Y llegaron a Mará, y no pudieron beber las aguas de Mará, porque eran amargas; y por eso le pusieron nombre Mará.
24 Then the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drinke?
Entonces el pueblo murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Qué hemos de beber?
25 And he cried vnto the Lord, and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were sweete: there he made them an ordinance and a law, and there he proued them,
Y Moisés clamó a Jehová, y Jehová le enseñó un árbol, el cual como metió dentro de las aguas, las aguas se endulzaron. Allí les dio estatutos y derechos; y allí los tentó,
26 And sayd, if thou wilt diligently hearken, O Israel, vnto the voyce of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that, which is right in his sight, and wilt giue eare vnto his commandements, and keepe all his ordinances, then will I put none of these diseases vpon thee, which I brought vpon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Y dijo: Si oyendo oyeres la voz de Jehová tu Dios, e hicieres lo recto delante de sus ojos, y escuchares a sus mandamientos, y guardares todos sus estatutos, ninguna enfermedad de las que envié a los Egipcios, te enviaré a ti; porque yo soy Jehová tu sanador.
27 And they came to Elim, where were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they camped thereby the waters.
Y vinieron a Elim, donde había doce fuentes de aguas, y setenta palmas, y asentaron allí junto a las aguas.
