Exodus 15
1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song vnto the Lord, and sayd in this maner, I will sing vnto the Lord: for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and him that rode vpon him hath he ouerthrowen in the Sea.
೧ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು: “ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಗಾನಮಾಡೋಣ; ಆತನು ಮಹಾಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾದವನು. ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಹುತರನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡವಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
2 The Lord is my strength and praise, and he is become my saluation. He is my God, and I will prepare him a tabernacle. he is my fathers God, and I will exalt him.
೨ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೂ, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯೂ ಯಾಹುವೇ. ಆತನಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಆತನೇ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು, ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರು ಆತನೇ, ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆವು.
3 The Lord is a man of warre, his Name is Iehouah.
೩ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯುದ್ಧವೀರನು; ಯೆಹೋವ ಎಂಬುದು ಆತನ ನಾಮವಾಗಿದೆ.
4 Pharaohs charets and his host hath he cast into the Sea: his chosen captaines also were drowned in the red Sea.
೪ಆತನು ಫರೋಹನ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸ್ಯೆನಿಕರನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕಿದನು. ಫರೋಹನ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವೀರರನ್ನು ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
5 The depths haue couered them, they sanke to the bottome as a stone.
೫ಆಳವಾದ ಸಾಗರವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು. ಅವರು ಕಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತಳವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದರು.
6 Thy right hande, O Lord, is glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath brused the enemie.
೬ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ.
7 And in thy great glorie thou hast ouerthrowen them that rose against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as the stubble.
೭ನೀನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವವರನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿಯು ಹೊರಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಣಗಿದ ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಭಸ್ಮಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
8 And by the blast of thy nostrels the waters were gathered, the floods stoode still as an heape, the depthes congealed together in the heart of the Sea.
೮ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿನ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದವು; ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ಗೋಡೆಯೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿತು; ಸಾಗರದಾಳದೊಳಗಿನ ನೀರು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಯಿತು.
9 The enemie sayd, I wil pursue, I wil ouertake them, I will deuide the spoyle, my lust shall bee satisfied vpon them, I will drawe my sworde, mine hand shall destroy them.
೯ಶತ್ರುವು, ‘ನಾವು ಇವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವೆವು, ಅವರ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಯಕೆಯನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು. ನಾವು ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು; ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹಾರಮಾಡುವೆವು’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
10 Thou blewest with thy winde, the Sea couered them, they sanke as leade in the mightie waters.
೧೦ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿದಾಗ, ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿತು; ಅವರು ಮಹಾಸಾಗರದೊಳಗೆ ಸೀಸದ ಗುಂಡಿನಂತೆ ಮುಳುಗಿಹೋದರು.
11 Who is like vnto thee, O Lord, among the Gods! who is like thee so glorious in holinesse, fearefull in prayses, doing wonders!
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾನರು ಯಾರು? ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮನು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವನು, ಭಯಂಕರನೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾನರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?
12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hande, the earth swallowed them.
೧೨ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿದಾಗ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತಲ್ಲಾ.
13 Thou wilt by thy mercie cary this people, which thou deliueredst: thou wilt bring them in thy strength vnto thine holy habitation.
೧೩ನಿನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸಿರುವೆ.
14 The people shall heare and be afraide: sorow shall come vpon the inhabitants of Palestina.
೧೪ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಡುಗುವರು. ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು ಭಯಭೀತರಾಗುವರು.
15 Then the dukes of Edom shalbe amased, and trembling shall come vpon the great men of Moab: all the inhabitantes of Canaan shall waxe faint hearted.
೧೫ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ದಿಗ್ಭ್ರಮೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ನಡುಗುವರು; ಕಾನಾನಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗುವರು.
16 Feare and dread shall fall vpon them: because of the greatnesse of thine arme, they shalbe stil as a stone, till thy people passe, O Lord: til this people passe, which thou hast purchased.
೧೬ಭಯವೂ, ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯೂ, ಅವರಿಗುಂಟಾಗುವುದು. ನಿನ್ನ ಭುಜಬಲದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರು ಕಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಸ್ತಬ್ಧರಾಗುವರು. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೇರುವರು.
17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountaine of thine inheritance, which is the place that thou hast prepared, O Lord, for to dwell in, euen the sanctuarie, O Lord, which thine hands shall establish.
೧೭ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಕೀಯ ದೇಶವಾಗಿರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ತಂದು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ಸ್ವಂತ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದವರೆಗೂ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪರ್ವತದವರೆಗೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವಿ.
18 The Lord shall reigne for euer and euer.
೧೮ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಆಳುವವನು.”
19 For Pharaohs horses went with his charets and horsemen into the Sea, and the Lord brought the waters of the Sea vpon them: but the children of Israel went on drie land in the middes of the Sea.
೧೯ಫರೋಹನ ಕುದುರೆಗಳು, ರಥಗಳೂ, ರಾಹುತರೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಮುಳುಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಾದರೋ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಣ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋದರು.
20 And Miriam the prophetesse, sister of Aaron tooke a timbrell in her hande, and all the women came out after her with timbrels and daunces.
೨೦ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋನನ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಳವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಳು. ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಾಟ್ಯವಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಆಕೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.
21 And Miriam answered the men, Sing yee vnto the Lord: for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath hee ouerthrowen in the Sea.
೨೧ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹಾಡಿದಳು: “ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ಆತನು ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ರಾಹುತರನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿಸಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದನು.”
22 Then Moses brought Israel from the redde Sea, and they went out into the wildernesse of Shur: and they went three dayes in the wildernesse, and found no waters.
೨೨ಆನಂತರ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಶೂರ್ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳು ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
23 And whe they came to Marah, they could not drinke of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of the place was called Marah.
೨೩ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಮಾರಾ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ನೀರು ಕಹಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರಾ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು.
24 Then the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drinke?
೨೪ಜನರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನಾವೇನು ಕುಡಿಯಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
25 And he cried vnto the Lord, and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were sweete: there he made them an ordinance and a law, and there he proued them,
೨೫ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಗಿಡವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ, ನೀರು ಸಿಹಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
26 And sayd, if thou wilt diligently hearken, O Israel, vnto the voyce of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that, which is right in his sight, and wilt giue eare vnto his commandements, and keepe all his ordinances, then will I put none of these diseases vpon thee, which I brought vpon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
೨೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ, ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸರಿಬೀಳುವುದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆತನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆದರೆ, ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರಗೊಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನಾನೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಾಯಕನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದನು.
27 And they came to Elim, where were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they camped thereby the waters.
೨೭ಆ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಏಲೀಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳೂ, ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಮರಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು. ಆ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಇಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡರು.
