Exodus 11
1 Now the Lord had saide vnto Moses, yet will I bring one plague more vpon Pharaoh, and vpon Egypt: after that, he will let you go hence: when he letteth you goe, he shall at once chase you hence.
E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Uma praga trarei ainda sobre Faraó, e sobre o Egito; depois da qual ele vos deixará ir daqui; e seguramente vos expulsará daqui de todo.
2 Speake thou nowe to the people, that euery man require of his neighbour, and euery woman of her neighbour iewels of siluer and iewels of gold.
Fala agora ao povo, e que cada um peça a seu vizinho, e cada uma à sua vizinha, objetos de prata e de ouro.
3 And the Lord gaue the people fauour in the sight of the Egyptians: also Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaohs seruantes, and in the sight of the people.)
E o SENHOR fez o povo ser favorecido aos olhos dos egípcios. Também Moisés era muito grande homem na terra do Egito, aos olhos dos servos de Faraó, e aos olhos do povo.
4 Also Moses sayde, Thus sayth the Lord, About midnight will I goe out into the middes of Egypt.
E disse Moisés: o SENHOR disse assim: À meia noite eu sairei por meio do Egito,
5 And all the first borne in the lande of Egypt shall die, from the first borne of Pharaoh that sitteth on his throne, vnto the first borne of the maide seruant, that is at the mille, and all the first borne of beastes.
E morrerá todo primogênito na terra do Egito, desde o primogênito de Faraó que se assenta em seu trono, até o primogênito da serva que está atrás do moinho; e todo primogênito dos animais.
6 Then there shalbe a great crie throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was neuer none like, nor shalbe.
E haverá grande clamor por toda a terra do Egito, qual nunca foi, nem jamais será.
7 But against none of ye children of Israel shall a dogge moue his tongue, neyther against man nor beast, that ye may knowe that the Lord putteth a difference betweene the Egyptians and Israel.
Mas entre todos os filhos de Israel, desde o homem até o animal, nem um cão moverá sua língua; para que saibais que o SENHOR fará diferença entre os egípcios e os israelitas.
8 And all these thy seruants shall come downe vnto me, and fal before me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that are at thy feete, and after this will I depart. So he went out from Pharaoh very angry.
E descerão a mim todos estes teus servos, e inclinados diante de mim dirão: Sai tu, e todo o povo que está abaixo de ti; e depois disto eu sairei. E saiu-se muito irado da presença de Faraó.
9 And the Lord saide vnto Moses, Pharaoh shall not heare you, that my wonders may bee multiplied in the land of Egypt.
E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Faraó não vos ouvirá, para que minhas maravilhas se multipliquem na terra do Egito.
10 So Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: but the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he suffred not the children of Israel to goe out of his lande.
E Moisés e Arão fizeram todos estes prodígios diante de Faraó; mas o SENHOR havia endurecido o coração de Faraó, e não permitiu que os filhos de Israel saíssem da sua terra.
