Esther 9
1 So in the twelft moneth, which is the moneth Adar, vpon the thirteenth daye of the same, when the Kings commandement and his decree drew neere to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Iewes hoped to haue power ouer them (but it turned contrary: for the Iewes had rule ouer them that hated them)
Karon sa ikanapulog duha nga bulan, nga mao ang bulan sa Adar, sa ikanapulog tulo ka adlaw, sa dihang ipatuman na ang balaod ug kasugoan sa hari, sa adlaw nga gilaoman sa mga kaaway sa mga Judio aron sa pagbaton ug gahom labaw kanila, nasukwahi kini. Nagbaton ug gahom ang mga Judio labaw niadtong adunay kalagot kanila.
2 The Iewes gathered themselues together into their cities throughout all the prouinces of the King Ahashuerosh, to lay hande on such as sought their hurt, and no man coulde withstande them: for the feare of them fel vpon al people.
Nagtigom ang mga Judio sa ilang mga siyudad sa tanang mga probinsya ni Haring Ahasuerus, aron sa pagdapat sa ilang mga kamot niadtong buot mosulay sa pagdala ug katalagman kanila. Walay makabarog batok kanila, kay ang pagkahadlok kanila midangat ngadto sa tanang katawhan.
3 And all the rulers of the prouinces, and the princes and the captaines, and the officers of the King exalted the Iewes: for the feare of Mordecai fell vpon them.
Mitabang sa mga Judio ang tanang opisyal sa mga probinsya, mga gobernador sa probinsya, mga gobernador, ug mga tigdumala sa hari, tungod kay midangat kanila ang pagkahadlok kang Mordecai.
4 For Mordecai was great in the kings house, and the report of him went through all the prouinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.
Kay bantogan si Mordecai sa panimalay sa hari, ug ang iyang pagkainila mikaylap sa tanang mga probinsya, kay nahimong bantogan si Mordecai.
5 Thus the Iewes smote all their enemies with strokes of the sworde and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they woulde vnto those that hated them.
Gisulong sa mga Judio ang ilang mga kaaway pinaagi sa espada, sa pagpatay ug paglaglag kanila, ug gibuhat ang nakapahimuot kanila niadtong nagdumot kanila.
6 And at Shushan the palace slewe the Iewes and destroyed fiue hundreth men,
Gipamatay ug gipanglaglag sa mga Judio ang 500 ka kalalakin-an didto sa salipdanan sa Susa.
7 And Parshandatha, and Dalphon, and Aspatha,
Gipamatay nila si Parshandata, Dalfon, Aspata,
8 And Poratha, and Adalia, and Aridatha,
Porata, Adalia, Aridata,
9 And Parmashta, and Arisai, and Aridai, and Vaiezatha,
Parmashta, Arisay, Ariday, Vaysata,
10 The ten sonnes of Haman, ye sonne of Ammedatha, the aduersarie of the Iewes slewe they: but they layd not their hands on the spoyle.
ug ang napulo ka mga anak nga lalaki ni Haman nga anak nga lalaki ni Hamedata, ang kaaway sa mga Judio. Apan wala sila nanguha ug bisan unsang inilog.
11 On the same day came ye nomber of those that were slayne, vnto the palace of Shushan before the King.
Niadtong adlawa gibalita ngadto sa hari ang gidaghanon sa gipamatay sa salipdanan sa Susa.
12 And the King sayd vnto the Queene Ester, The Iewes haue slayne in Shushan the palace and destroyed fiue hundreth men, and the ten sonnes of Haman: what haue they done in the rest of the Kings prouinces? and what is thy petition, that it may be giuen thee? or what is thy request moreouer, that it may be performed?
Miingon ang hari kang Rayna Ester, “Gipamatay sa mga Judio ang 500 ka kalalakin-an didto sa salipdanan sa Susa, lakip ang napulo ka mga anak nga lalaki ni Haman. Unsa pa man ang ilang gibuhat sa ubang mga probinsya sa hari? Karon unsa pa man ang imong hangyoon? Kay igahatag kini kanimo. Unsa pa man ang imong hangyo? Kay igahatag kini kanimo.”
13 Then sayd Ester, If it please the King, let it be granted also to morow to the Iewes that are in Shushan, to do according vnto this daies decree, that they may hang vpon ye tree Hamans ten sonnes.
Miingon si Ester, “Kung makapahimuot kini sa hari, tugoti ang mga Judio nga anaa sa Susa sa pagtuman sa sugo niining adlawa ug sa sunod adlaw usab, ug tugoti nga bitayon ang napulo ka mga anak nga lalaki ni Haman didto sa bitayanan.”
14 And the King charged to doe so, and the decree was giuen at Shushan, and they hanged Hamans ten sonnes.
Busa nagsugo ang hari sa pagbuhat niini. Gimantala ang kasugoan didto sa Susa, ug gibitay ang napulo ka mga anak nga lalaki ni Haman.
15 So the Iewes that were in Shushan, assembled themselues vpon the fourteenth day of the moneth Adar, and slew three hundreth men in Shushan, but on the spoyle they layd not their hand.
Nagtigom ang mga Judio didto sa Susa sa ikanapulog upat nga adlaw sa bulan sa Adar, ug mipatay ug dugang 300 ka kalalakin-an sa Susa, apan wala sila nanghilabot sa mga inilog.
16 And the rest of the Iewes that were in the Kings prouinces assembled themselues, and stood for their liues, and had rest from their enemies, and slewe of them that hated them, seuentie and fiue thousand: but they layd not their hand on the spoyle.
Nagtigom ang ubang mga Judio nga anaa sa mga probinsya sa hari aron sa pagpanalipod sa ilang mga kinabuhi, ug nagmadaugon sila gikan sa ilang mga kaaway ug gipatay ang 75, 000 niadtong adunay kalagot kanila, apan wala sila nanghilabot niadtong mga bililhong kabtangan sa ilang gipamatay.
17 This they did on the thirteenth day of the moneth Adar, and rested the fourteenth day thereof, and kept it a day of feasting and ioy.
Nahitabo kini sa ikanapulog tulo nga adlaw sa bulan sa Adar. Nagpahulay sila sa ikanapulog upat nga adlaw ug gihimo kini nga adlaw sa pagsaulog ug paglipay.
18 But the Iewes that were in Shushan assembled themselues on the thirteenth day, and on the fourteenth therof, and they rested on the fifteenth of the same, and kept it a day of feasting and ioy.
Apan nagtigom ang mga Judio nga anaa sa Susa sa ikanapulog tulo ug sa ikanapulog upat nga mga adlaw. Nagpahulay sila sa ikanapulog lima ka adlaw ug gihimo kini nga adlaw sa pagsaulog ug paglipay.
19 Therefore the Iewes of the villages that dwelt in the vnwalled townes, kept the foureteenth day of the moneth Adar with ioy and feasting, euen a ioyfull day, and euery one sent presents vnto his neighbour.
Mao nga ang mga Judio sa mga baryo, nga nagtukod sa ilang mga panimalay didto sa mga lungsod, nagsaulog sa ikanapulog upat nga adlaw sa bulan sa Adar ingon nga adlaw sa paglipay ug pagsaulog, ug ingon nga adlaw nga magpadala sila ug mga gasa nga pagkaon sa usag usa.
20 And Mordecai wrote these words, and sent letters vnto all the Iewes that were through all the prouinces of the King Ahashuerosh, both neere and farre,
Gisulat ni Mordecai kining mga butanga ug nagpadala ug mga sulat sa tanang mga Judio nga anaa sa tanang mga probinsya ni Haring Ahasuerus, sa duol ug sa layo,
21 Inioyning them that they shoulde keepe the fourteenth day of the moneth Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, euery yeere.
gihatagan sila ug kaakohan sa pagsaulog sa ikanapulog upat ug ikanapulog lima nga adlaw sa Adar matag tuig.
22 According to the dayes wherein the Iewes rested from their enemies, and the moneth which was turned vnto them from sorowe to ioy, and from mourning into a ioyfull day, to keepe them the dayes of feasting, and ioy, and to sende presents euery man to his neyghbour, and giftes to the poore.
Mao kini ang mga adlaw nga nagmadaugon ang mga Judio gikan sa ilang mga kaaway, ug ang bulan sa dihang ang ilang kasubo napulihan ug kalipay, ug ang pagbangotan nahimong adlaw sa pagsaulog. Gihimo nila kini nga mga adlaw sa kombira ug paglipay, ug pagpadala ug mga gasa nga pagkaon sa usag usa, ug mga gasa ngadto sa mga kabos.
23 And the Iewes promised to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written vnto them,
Busa gipadayon sa mga Judio ang kasaulogan nga ilang nasugdan, ug gibuhat kung unsa ang gisulat ni Mordecai kanila.
24 Because Haman the sonne of Hammedatha the Agagite al the Iewes aduersarie, had imagined against the Iewes, to destroy them, and had cast Pur (that is a lot) to consume and destroy them.
Niadtong panahona si Haman nga anak nga lalaki ni Hamedata nga Agagnon, ang kaaway sa tanang mga Judio naglaraw sa paglaglag kanila, ug gipaagi niya sa Pur (mao kini ang iyang pagripa), aron sa paggun-ob ug paglaglag kanila.
25 And when she came before the King, he commanded by letters, Let this wicked deuise (which he imagined against the Iewes) turne vpon his owne head, and let them hang him and his sonnes on the tree.
Apan sa dihang naabot kini nga butang sa atubangan sa hari, nagmando siya pinaagi sa mga sulat nga ang daotang laraw nga gihimo ni Haman batok sa mga Judio angay lamang nga mahibalik kaniya, ug nga siya ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalaki ang angay nga bitayon didto sa dapit nga bitayanan.
26 Therfore they called these dayes Purim, by the name of Pur, and because of all the wordes of this letter, and of that which they had seene besides this, and of that which had come vnto them.
Busa gitawag nila kining mga adlawa ug Purim, sunod sa ngalan nga Pur. Tungod sa tanang butang nga nahisulat niini nga sulat, ug sa tanang butang nga ilang nakita ug nahitabo kanila,
27 The Iewes also ordeined, and promised for them and for their seede, and for all that ioyned vnto them, that they would not faile to obserue those two dayes euery yeere, according to their writing, and according to their season,
gidawat sa mga Judio ang bag-ong gawi ug katungdanan. Kini nga gawi alang sa ilang mga kaugalingon, sa ilang mga kaliwat, ug sa tanan nga nakighiusa kanila. Saulogon nila kining duha ka mga adlaw matag tuig. Magsaulog sila niini sa samang paagi ug sa samang panahon sa matag tuig.
28 And that these dayes shoulde be remembred, and kept throughout euery generation and euery familie, and euery prouince, and euery citie: euen these daies of Purim should not faile among the Iewes, and the memoriall of them should not perish from their seede.
Pagasaulogon ug pagahinumdoman kini nga mga adlaw sa matag kaliwatan, matag pamilya, matag probinsya, ug matag siyudad. Dili moundang ang mga Judio ug ilang mga kaliwat sa matinud-anong pagsaulog niining mga adlawa sa Purim, aron nga dili nila kini mahikalimtan.
29 And the Queene Ester ye daughter of Abihail and Mordecai the Iew wrote with al authoritie (to cofirme this letter of Purim ye second time)
Nagsulat si Rayna Ester nga anak nga babaye ni Abihail ug si Mordecai nga Judio uban sa hingpit nga katungod ug gipamatud-an kining ikaduhang sulat mahitungod sa Purim.
30 And he sent letters vnto al the Iewes to the hundreth and seuen and twentie prouinces of the kingdome of Ahashuerosh, with words of peace and trueth,
Gipadala ang mga sulat ngadto sa tanang mga Judio sa 127 ka mga probinsya sa gingharian ni Ahasuerus, nga nanghinaot ug kaluwasan ug kamatuoran sa mga Judio.
31 To confirme these dayes of Purim, according to their seasons, as Mordecai the Iewe and Ester the Queene had appointed them, and as they had promised for them selues and for their seede with fasting and prayer.
Gipamatud-an kini nga mga sulat sa mga adlaw sa Purim sa ilang gitakda nga panahon, sumala sa gihatag nga kaakohan ni Mordecai nga Judio ug Rayna Ester ngadto sa mga Judio. Gidawat sa mga Judio kini nga kaakohan alang kanila ug sa ilang mga kaliwat, sama usab sa ilang pagdawat sa panahon sa pagpuasa, ug pagbangotan.
32 And the decree of Ester confirmed these words of Purim, and was written in the booke.
Ang mando ni Ester nagpamatuod niini nga mga kalagdaan mahitungod sa Purim, ug nahisulat kini sa libro.
