Ephesians 1
1 Pavl an Apostle of Jesvs Christ by the will of God, to the Saints, which are at Ephesus, and to ye faithfull in Christ Iesus:
PABLO, apóstol de Jesu-Cristo por la voluntad de Dios, á los santos y fieles en Cristo Jesus, que están en Efeso:
2 Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
Gracia [sea] á vosotros, y paz de Dios Padre nuestro, y del Señor Jesu-Cristo.
3 Blessed be God, and the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ, which hath blessed vs with all spirituall blessing in heauenly thinges in Christ,
Bendito el Dios y Padre del Señor nuestro Jesu-Cristo, el cual nos bendijo con toda bendicion espiritual en [lugares] celestiales en Cristo;
4 As hee hath chosen vs in him, before the foundation of the worlde, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in loue:
Segun nos escogió en él ántes de la fundacion del mundo, para que fuésemos santos y sin mancha delante de él en amor;
5 Who hath predestinate vs, to be adopted through Iesus Christ in him selfe, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Habiéndonos predestinado para ser adoptados hijos por Jesu-Cristo en sí mismo, segun el puro afecto de su voluntad,
6 To the prayse of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made vs freely accepted in his beloued,
Para la alabanza de la gloria de su gracia, con la cual nos hizo aceptos en el amado:
7 By whom we haue redemption through his blood, euen the forgiuenes of sinnes, according to his rich grace:
En el cual tenemos redencion por su sangre, la remision de pecados, por las riquezas de su gracia,
8 Whereby he hath bene aboundant toward vs in all wisedome and vnderstanding,
Que sobreabundó en nosotros en toda sabiduría é inteligencia;
9 And hath opened vnto vs the mysterie of his will according to his good pleasure, which he had purposed in him,
Descubriéndonos el misterio de su voluntad, segun su beneplácito, que se habia propuesto en sí mismo,
10 That in the dispensation of the fulnesse of the times, he might gather together in one all things, both which are in heauen, and which are in earth, euen in Christ:
De reunir todas las cosas en Cristo en la dispensacion del cumplimiento de los tiempos, así las que [están] en los cielos, como las que [están] en la tierra:
11 In whom also we are chosen when we were predestinate according to ye purpose of him, which worketh all things after the counsell of his owne will,
En él [digo, ] en quien asimismo tuvimos suerte, habiendo sido predestinados conforme al propósito del que hace todas las cosas segun el consejo de su voluntad,
12 That we, which first trusted in Christ, should be vnto the praise of his glorie:
Para que seamos para alabanza de su gloria nosotros, que ántes esperamos en Cristo.
13 In whom also ye haue trusted, after that ye heard the worde of trueth, euen the Gospel of your saluation, wherein also after that ye beleeued, ye were sealed with the holy Spirite of promise,
En el cual [esperasteis] tambien vosotros en oyendo la palabra de verdad el Evangelio de vuestra salud: en el cual tambien desde que creisteis, fuisteis sellados con el Espíritu Santo de la promesa,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance, for the redemption of that libertie purchased vnto the prayse of his glory.
Que es las arras de nuestra herencia, para [el dia de] la redencion de la posesion adquirida para alabanza de su gloria.
15 Therefore also after that I heard of the faith, which ye haue in the Lord Iesus, and loue toward all the Saints,
Por lo cual tambien yo, habiendo oido de vuestra fé en el Señor Jesus, y amor para con todos los santos,
16 I cease not to giue thankes for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
No ceso de dar gracias por vosotros, haciendo memoria de vosotros en mis oraciones;
17 That the God of our Lord Iesus Christ, that Father of glory, might giue vnto you the Spirit of wisedome, and reuelation through the acknowledging of him,
Que el Dios del Señor nuestro Jesu-Cristo, el Padre de gloria, os dé espíritu de sabiduría y de revelacion para su conocimiento;
18 That the eyes of your vnderstanding may be lightened, that ye may knowe what the hope is of his calling, and what the riches of his glorious inheritance is in the Saints,
Alumbrando los ojos de vuestro entendimiento, para que sepais cuál sea la esperanza de su vocacion, y cuales las riquezas de la gloria de su herencia en los santos,
19 And what is the exceeding greatnesse of his power toward vs, which beleeue, according to the working of his mightie power,
Y cual aquella supereminente grandeza de su poder para con nosotros los que creemos, por la operacion de la potencia de su fortaleza,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heauenly places,
La cual obró en Cristo, resucitándole de los muertos, y colocándole á su diestra en los cielos,
21 Farre aboue al principalitie, and power, and might, and domination, and euery Name, that is named, not in this world only, but also in that that is to come, (aiōn g165)
Sobre todo principado y potestad, y potencia, y señorío, y todo nombre que se nombra, no solo en este siglo, mas aun en el venidero: (aiōn g165)
22 And hath made all things subiect vnder his feete, and hath giuen him ouer all things to be the head to the Church,
Y sometió todas las cosas debajo de sus piés, y dióle por cabeza sobre todas las cosas á la iglesia,
23 Which is his body, euen the fulnesse of him that filleth all in all things.
La cual es su cuerpo, la plenitud de aquel que hinche todas las cosas en todo.
