Ephesians 6
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Los hijos obedezcan a sus progenitores, porque esto es justo.
2 Honour thy father and mother (which is the first commandement with promise)
Honra a tu padre y a [tu] madre, que es [el ]primer Mandamiento con promesa,
3 That it may be well with thee, and that thou mayst liue long on earth.
para que te vaya bien, y vivas largo tiempo sobre la tierra.
4 And ye, fathers, prouoke not your children to wrath: but bring them vp in instruction and information of the Lord.
Los padres no provoquen a ira a sus hijos, sino críenlos con disciplina y amonestación del Señor.
5 Seruants, be obedient vnto them that are your masters, according to the flesh, with feare and trembling in singlenesse of your hearts as vnto Christ,
Los esclavos obedezcan a los señores humanos con temor y temblor, con sinceridad de su corazón, como a Cristo.
6 Not with seruice to the eye, as men pleasers, but as the seruants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,
No [hagan] un servicio al ojo, como los que tratan de complacer a la gente, sino como esclavos de Cristo. Hagan la voluntad de Dios con ánimo.
7 With good will, seruing the Lord, and not men.
Sirvan de buena voluntad, como al Señor y no a [los ]hombres,
8 And knowe ye that whatsoeuer good thing any man doeth, that same shall he receiue of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
pues [ustedes] saben que lo bueno que cada uno haga, esto recibirá de parte del Señor, sea esclavo o libre.
9 And ye masters, doe the same things vnto them, putting away threatning: and know that euen your master also is in heauen, neither is there respect of person with him.
Los amos hagan las mismas cosas con ellos y abandonen la amenaza, pues saben que el Señor, tanto de ellos como de ustedes, está en [el] cielo. Para Él no hay parcialidad.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Finalmente, mis hermanos, sean fuertes en [el] Señor y su fuerza poderosa.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the assaultes of the deuil.
Vístanse con toda la armadura de Dios para que estén firmes contra las estrategias del diablo.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly gouernours, the princes of the darkenesse of this worlde, against spirituall wickednesses, which are in ye hie places. (aiōn g165)
Porque no tenemos lucha contra carne y sangre, sino contra los principados, las circunscripciones, los gobernadores de este mundo de la oscuridad y contra las huestes espirituales en los [planes] celestiales. (aiōn g165)
13 For this cause take vnto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the euill day, and hauing finished all things, stand fast.
Tomen la armadura completa de Dios, para que puedan resistir en el día malo y, después de conquistar todo, estar firmes.
14 Stand therefore, and your loynes girded about with veritie, and hauing on the brest plate of righteousnesse,
Por tanto estén firmes. Átense la cintura con [la] verdad. Pónganse la coraza de justicia.
15 And your feete shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace.
Cálcense los pies con el equipo de las Buenas Noticias de la paz.
16 Aboue all, take the shielde of faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fierie dartes of the wicked,
Sobre todo, tomen el escudo de la fe, con el cual podrán extinguir todas las flechas encendidas del maligno.
17 And take the helmet of saluation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the worde of God.
Tomen el yelmo de la salvación y la espada del Espíritu, que es [la] Palabra de Dios.
18 And pray alwayes with all maner prayer and supplication in the Spirit: and watch thereunto with all perseuerance and supplication for al Saints,
Hablen con Dios en todo tiempo por medio de toda conversación y súplica en espíritu. Por lo mismo, estén alerta con toda perseverancia y suplicación por todos los santos,
19 And for me, that vtterance may be giuen vnto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to publish the secret of the Gospel,
y por mí, para que se me dé palabra al abrir mi boca, a fin de proclamar con osadía el misterio de las Buenas Noticias,
20 Whereof I am the ambassadour in bonds, that therein I may speake boldely, as I ought to speake.
del cual soy embajador con cadena, para que hable de él con osadía, como debo hablar.
21 But that ye may also know mine affaires, and what I doe, Tychicus my deare brother and faithfull minister in the Lord, shall shewe you of all things,
Para que ustedes también sepan mi situación y lo que hago, todo les informará Tíquico, el hermano amado, y fiel ministro en [el] Señor,
22 Whom I haue sent vnto you for the same purpose, that ye might knowe mine affaires, and that he might comfort your hearts.
a quien les envié para que sepan las cosas con respecto a nosotros y consuele sus corazones.
23 Peace be with the brethren, and loue with faith from God the Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
Paz a los hermanos y amor con fe en Dios Padre y en el Señor Jesucristo.
24 Grace be with all them which loue our Lord Iesus Christ, to their immortalitie, Amen. ‘Written from Rome vnto the Ephesians, and sent by Tychicus.’
La gracia sea con todos los que aman a nuestro Señor Jesucristo con perpetuidad.
