Ecclesiastes 9
1 I have surely giuen mine heart to all this, and to declare all this, that the iust, and the wise, and their workes are in the hand of God: and no man knoweth eyther loue or hatred of all that is before them.
১সেয়ে মই এই সকলো বিষয়ে চিন্তা কৰিলোঁ আৰু দেখিলোঁ যে, ধাৰ্মিক আৰু জ্ঞানী লোকসকল তথা তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো কার্য ঈশ্বৰৰ হাতত। কোনেও নাজানে তেওঁক প্ৰেম কৰা হ’ব নে ঘৃণা কৰা হ’ব।
2 All things come alike to all: and the same condition is to the iust and to the wicked, to the good and to the pure, and to the polluted, and to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner, he that sweareth, as he that feareth an othe.
২সকলোৰে ক্ষেত্রত শেষ পৰিণতি একেই। ভৱিষ্যতে একেই ঘটে। ধাৰ্মিক হওঁক বা দুষ্ট হওঁক, সৎ আৰু বেয়া, শুচি আৰু অশুচি, বলি উৎসর্গ কৰক বা নকৰক সকলোলৈকে একে ঘটে; যেনেদৰে সৎ লোকৰ মৃত্যু হয়, তেনেদৰে পাপীৰো হয়; ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰত প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াজনৰ যেনেদৰে মৃত্যু হয়, তেনেকৈ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিবলৈ ভয় কৰা জনৰো হয়।
3 This is euill among all that is done vnder the sunne, that there is one condition to all, and also the heart of the sonnes of men is full of euill, and madnes is in their heartes whiles they liue, and after that, they goe to the dead.
৩সূৰ্যৰ তলত যি সকলো কাৰ্য কৰা হয়, তাৰ ভিতৰত অতি দুখৰ বিষয় এয়ে যে, একে দশা সকলোলৈকে ঘটে; মানুহৰ হৃদয়বোৰ দুষ্টতাৰে পৰিপূর্ণ আৰু জীয়াই থাকে মানে তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয়ত উন্মত্ততা থাকে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হয়।
4 Surely whosoeuer is ioyned to all ye liuing, there is hope: for it is better to a liuing dog, then to a dead lyon.
৪সকলো জীৱিত লোকৰ কাৰণে আশা আছে। এই প্রবাদ আছে যে, ‘মৃত সিংহতকৈ জীৱিত কুকুৰেই শ্রেয়’।
5 For the liuing knowe that they shall dye, but the dead knowe nothing at all: neither haue they any more a rewarde: for their remembrance is forgotten.
৫কিয়নো জীৱিত লোকসকলে জানে যে তেওঁলোকৰ মৃত্যু হ’ব। কিন্তু মৃতলোকসকলে একোকেই নাজানে; মৃত লোকে পাবৰ কাৰণে একো পুৰস্কাৰ নাই, কাৰণ তেওঁলোকৰ কথা মানুহে পাহৰি যায়।
6 Also their loue, and their hatred, and their enuie is now perished, and they haue no more portion for euer, in all that is done vnder the sunne.
৬তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰেম, ঘৃণা আৰু হিংসা সকলো বিলুপ্ত হৈ যায়। সূৰ্যৰ তলত কৰা যিকোনো কাৰ্যত তেওঁলোকৰ পুনৰ কোনো ভাগ নাথাকিব।
7 Goe, eate thy bread with ioy, and drinke thy wine with a cheerefull heart: for God nowe accepteth thy workes.
৭সেয়ে তুমি গৈ আনন্দেৰে নিজৰ আহাৰ ভোজন কৰা আৰু হৰ্ষিত হৃদয়েৰে নিজৰ দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস পান কৰাগৈ; কিয়নো তোমাৰ সকলো কৰ্ম ঈশ্বৰে পূর্বৰে পৰা গ্ৰহণ কৰিলে।
8 At all times let thy garments be white, and let not oyle be lacking vpon thine head.
৮সকলো সময়তে বস্ত্ৰ বগা বস্ত্র পিন্ধি আৰু মূৰত তেল দি আনন্দ প্রকাশ কৰিবা।
9 Reioyce with the wife whom thou hast loued all the dayes of the life of thy vanitie, which God hath giuen thee vnder the sunne all the dayes of thy vanitie: for this is thy portion in the life, and in thy trauaile wherein thou labourest vnder the sunne.
৯সূৰ্যৰ তলত ঈশ্বৰে তোমাক এই যি সকলো অস্থায়ী আয়ুসৰ কাল দিছে, তোমাৰ জীৱনৰ সেই সকলো অসাৰ দিনত তোমাৰ ভার্যা, যাক তুমি ভালপোৱা, তেওঁৰে সৈতে আনন্দেৰে জীৱন কটোৱা। কিয়নো সূর্যৰ তলত তোমাৰ জীৱনকালত আৰু তোমাৰ পৰিশ্রমত এয়ে তোমাৰ পাবলগা ভাগ।
10 All that thine hand shall finde to doe, doe it with all thy power: for there is neither worke nor inuention, nor knowledge, nor wisedome in the graue whither thou goest. (Sheol h7585)
১০তোমাৰ হাতত যি কার্যই আহঁক, তোমাৰ সকলো শক্তিৰে সৈতে তাক কৰিবা; কিয়নো তুমি যি ঠাইলৈ গৈ আছা, সেই চিয়োলত কোনো কাৰ্য বা পৰিকল্পনা বা বুদ্ধি কি জ্ঞান একোৱেই নাই। (Sheol h7585)
11 I returned, and I sawe vnder the sunne that the race is not to the swift, nor the battell to the strong, nor yet bread to the wise, nor also riches to men of vnderstanding, neither yet fauour to men of knowledge: but time and chance commeth to them all.
১১সূর্যৰ তলত মই পুনৰ কিছুমান আমোদজনক বিষয় দেখিলোঁ: যিসকলে বেগেৰে লৰ মাৰে, তেওঁলোকেই যে সকলো সময়তে জয়ী হয়, এনে নহয়; বীৰসকলেই যে সকলো সময়তে ৰণত জয়ী হয়, এনে নহয়; জ্ঞানীসকলেই যে সকলো সময়তে পেট ভৰাই খাবলৈ পায়, এনে নহয়; বুদ্ধিমান লোকেই যে সকলো সময়তে ধনী হয়, এনে নহয়; বিদ্বান লোকেই যে সকলো সময়তে সুযোগ পায়, এনে নহয়; পৰিবর্তে, সময় আৰু সুযোগৰ দ্বাৰা তেওঁলোক সকলো প্রভাৱান্বিত হয়।
12 For neither doth man knowe his time, but as the fishes which are taken in an euill net, and as the birdes that are caught in the snare: so are the children of men snared in the euill time when it falleth vpon them suddenly.
১২কোনেও নাজানে তেওঁৰ মৃত্যুৰ সময় কেতিয়া আহিব। যেনেকৈ মাছ নিষ্ঠুৰ জালত পৰে আৰু চৰাইবোৰ ফান্দত ধৰা পৰে, তেনেকৈ বিপদ হঠাতে মানুহৰ ওপৰলৈ আহে আৰু তেওঁক ফান্দত পেলায়।
13 I haue also seene this wisedome vnder the sunne, and it is great vnto me.
১৩মই সূৰ্যৰ তলত প্রজ্ঞা সম্বন্ধে আন এক বিষয় দেখিলোঁ আৰু সেয়ে মোলৈ অতি গুৰুতৰ বোধ হ’ল।
14 A litle citie and fewe men in it, and a great King came against it, and compassed it about, and builded fortes against it.
১৪এখন সৰু নগৰত অতি তাকৰ মানুহ আছিল; এজন শক্তিশালী ৰজাই নগৰখনৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আহি তাক অৱৰোধ আক্রমণ কৰিবলৈ বৰ বৰ কোঁঠ সাজিলে।
15 And there was founde therein a poore and wise man, and he deliuered the citie by his wisedome: but none remembred this poore man.
১৫সেই নগৰত এজন জ্ঞানৱান দৰিদ্ৰ মানুহক পোৱা গ’ল; তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰজ্ঞাৰ দ্বাৰাই নগৰখন ৰক্ষা কৰিলে; কিন্তু কোনেও সেই দৰিদ্ৰ মানুহজনক সোঁৱৰণ নকৰিলে।
16 Then said I, Better is wisdome then strength: yet the wisedome of the poore is despised, and his wordes are not heard.
১৬সেয়ে মই ক’লোঁ, “শক্তিতকৈ প্রজ্ঞা উত্তম; কিন্তু দৰিদ্র লোকৰ প্ৰজ্ঞাক হেয়জ্ঞান কৰা হয় আৰু তেওঁৰ কথা কোনেও নুশুনে।”
17 The wordes of the wise are more heard in quietnes, then the crye of him that ruleth among fooles.
১৭অজ্ঞানীসকলৰ মাজত কৰা এজন শাসনকর্তাৰ গর্জনতকৈ বৰং জ্ঞানৱানৰ শান্ত-সৌম্য কথা শুনা ভাল।
18 Better is wisedome then weapons of warre: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
১৮যুদ্ধৰ অস্ত্ৰ-শস্ত্রতকৈ প্রজ্ঞা উত্তম; কিন্তু এজন পাপীয়ে অনেক ভাল কার্য নষ্ট কৰে।
