Deuteronomy 7
1 When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possesse it, and shall roote out many nations before thee: the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites, seuen nations greater and mightier then thou,
Rehefa entin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao ka tafiditra any amin’ ny tany izay efa hidiranao holovana, ary firenena maro no voaroakany hiala eo anoloanao, dia ny Hetita sy ny Girgasita sy ny Amorita sy ny Kananita sy ny Perizita sy ny Hivita ary ny Jebosita, dia firenena fito izay lehibe sy mahery noho ianao.
2 And the Lord thy God shall giue them before thee, then thou shalt smite them: thou shalt vtterly destroy them: thou shalt make no couenant with them, nor haue compassion on them,
ary rehefa voatolotr’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao eo anoloanao ireny ka resinao: dia aringano mihitsy izy; aza manao fanekena aminy, na mamindra fo aminy;
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them, neither giue thy daughter vnto his sonne, nor take his daughter vnto thy sonne.
ary aza mifanambady anaka aminy: ny zanakao-vavy tsy homenao ho vadin’ ny zananilahy, ary ny zananivavy tsy halainao ho vadin’ ny zanakao-lahy.
4 For they wil cause thy sonne to turne away from me, and to serue other gods: then will the wrath of the Lord waxe hote against you and destroy thee suddenly.
Fa hampiala ny zanakao-lahy amin’ ny fanarahana Ahy izy mba hanompoany andriamani-kafa, dia hirehitra aminareo ny fahatezeran’ i Jehovah, ka handrifigana anao vetivety Izy.
5 But thus ye shall deale with them, Ye shall ouerthrowe their altars, and breake downe their pillars, and ye shall cut downe their groues, and burne their grauen images with fire.
Fa izao kosa no ataovinareo aminy: ny alitarany horavanao, ary ny tsangam-baton-tsampiny hovakivakinao; ny Aserahany hokapainao, ary ny sarin-javatra voasokitra hodoranao amin’ ny afo.
6 For thou art an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, the Lord thy God hath chosen thee, to be a precious people vnto himselfe, aboue all people that are vpon the earth.
Fa firenena masìna ho an’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao; fa ianao efa nofidin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ho firenena rakitra soa ho Azy mihoatra noho ny firenena rehetra ambonin’ ny tany.
7 The Lord did not set his loue vpon you, nor chose you, because ye were more in number then any people: for ye were the fewest of all people:
Tsy ny hamaroanareo noho ny firenena rehetra anefa no niraiketan’ ny fitiavan’ i Jehovah taminareo sy nifidianany anareo, fa ianareo dia vitsy noho ny firenena rehetra aza;
8 But because the Lord loued you, and because hee would keepe the othe which hee had sworne vnto your fathers, the Lord hath brought you out by a mightie hand, and deliuered you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt,
fa ny nitiavan’ i Jehovah anareo sy ny nitandremany ny fianianana izay efa nianianany tamin’ ny razanareo no nitondran’ i Jehovah anareo tamin’ ny tanana mahery sy nanavotany anao tamin’ ny trano nahandevozana dia tamin’ ny tànan’ i Farao, mpanjakan’ i Egypta.
9 That thou mayest knowe, that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithfull God which keepeth couenant and mercie vnto them that loue him and keepe his commandements, euen to a thousand generations,
Koa aoka ho fantatrao fa Jehovah Andriamanitrao ihany no Andriamanitra, dia Andriamanitra mahatoky, Izay mitandrina fanekena sy famindram-po amin’ izay tia Azy sy mitandrina ny didiny, hatramin’ ny taranaka arivo mandimby,
10 And rewardeth them to their face that hate him, to bring them to destruction: he wil not deferre to reward him that hateth him, to his face.

11 Keepe thou therefore the commandements, and the ordinances, and the lawes, which I commaund thee this day to doe them.
Koa tandremo ny lalàna sy ny didy ary ny fitsipika, izay andidiako anao anio, ka araho izy.
12 For if ye hearken vnto these lawes, and obserue and doe them, then the Lord thy God shall keepe with thee the couenant, and the mercie which he sware vnto thy fathers.
Ary raha mihaino ireo fitsipika ireo ianareo ka mitandrina sy manaraka azy, dia hotanterahin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao aminao ny fanekena sy ny famindram-po, izay nianianany tamin’ ny razanao;
13 And he wil loue thee, and blesse thee, and multiplie thee: he will also blesse the fruite of thy wombe, and the fruite of thy land, thy corne and thy wine, and thine oyle and the increase of thy kine, and the flockes of thy sheepe in the land, which he sware vnto thy fathers to giue thee.
dia ho tia anao sy hitahy anao ary hahamaro anao Izy; ary Izy hitahy ny ateraky ny kibonao sy ny vokatry ny taninao, dia ny varinao sy ny ranom-boalobokao sy ny diloilonao, ary ny ateraky ny ombinao sy ny ateraky ny ondry aman’ osinao any amin’ ny tany izay nianianany tamin’ ny razanao homena anao.
14 Thou shalt be blessed aboue all people: there shall be neither male nor female barren among you, nor among your cattell.
Hotahina ianao mihoatra noho ny firenena rehetra; tsy hisy lahy na vavy tsy hiteraka, na ianareo na ny biby fiompinareo.
15 Moreouer, the Lord will take away from thee all infirmities, and will put none of the euill diseases of Egypt (which thou knowest) vpon thee, but wil send them vpon all that hate thee.
Ary harovan’ i Jehovah tsy ho azon’ aretina ianao, ka tsy hisy hameliny anao ny aretin-dratsin’ i Egypta, izay fantatrao; fa hataony amin’ izay rehetra mankahala anao kosa ireny.
16 Thou shalt therefore consume all people which the Lord thy God shall giue thee: thine eye shall not spare them, neither shalt thou serue their gods, for that shalbe thy destruction.
Ary aoka holaninao ny firenena rehetra, izay hatolotr’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao, ka aoka tsy hiantra azy ny masonao; ary aza manompo ny andriamaniny, fa ho fandrika aminao ireny.
17 If thou say in thine heart, These nations are moe then I, how can I cast them out?
Raha ianao hanao anakampo hoe: Maro noho izaho ireo firenena ireo, ka hataoko ahoana no fahay mandroaka azy?
18 Thou shalt not feare them, but remember what the Lord thy God did vnto Pharaoh, and vnto all Egypt:
dia aza matahotra azy ianao; fa tsarovy tsara izay nataon’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao tamin’ i Farao sy ny Egyptiana rehetra,
19 The great tentations which thine eyes sawe, and the signes and wonders, and the mighty hand and stretched out arme, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do vnto all ye people, whose face thou fearest.
dia ny fizahan-toetra lehibe, izay efa hitan’ ny masonao, sy ny famantarana sy ny fahagagana sy ny tanana mahery ary ny sandry nahinjitra, izay nitondran’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao nivoaka; fa toy izany no hataon’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao amin’ ny firenena rehetra izay atahoranao.
20 Moreouer, the Lord thy God will send hornets among them vntil they that are left, and hide themselues from thee, be destroyed.
Ary ny fanenitra koa dia hampandehanin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ho eo aminy mandra-paharingan’ izay sisa sy izay efa niery ka tsy hitanao.
21 Thou shalt not feare them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a God mightie and dreadful.
Aza matahotra azy ianao; fa Jehovah Andriamanitrao no eo aminao, dia Andriamanitra lehibe sy mahatahotra.
22 And the Lord thy God wil roote out these nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, least the beasts of the fielde increase vpon thee.
Ary horoahin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao eo alohanao tsikelikely ireny firenena ireny; tsy haharoaka azy faingana ianao, fandrao hihamaro ny bibi-dia ka hamely anao.
23 But the Lord thy God shall giue them before thee, and shall destroy them with a mightie destruction, vntill they be brought to naught.
Fa hatolotr’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao eo anoloanao izy ka hataony mifanaritaka be ihany mandra-pahalany ritrany.
24 And he shall deliuer their Kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from vnder heauen: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, vntill thou hast destroyed them.
Dia hatolony eo an-tananao koa ny mpanjakany, ka ho foananao tsy ho re intsony atỳ ambanin’ ny lanitra ny anarany; tsy hisy olona hahajanona eo anoloanao, fa haringanao avokoa izy mandra-pahalaniny.
25 The grauen images of their gods shall ye burne with fire, and couet not the siluer and golde, that is on them, nor take it vnto thee, least thou be snared therewith: for it is an abomination before the Lord thy God.
Ny sarin-javatra voasokitra, izay andriamaniny, dia hodoranareo amin’ ny afo; aza mitsiriritra ny volafotsy na ny volamena izay eo aminy, na maka izany ho anao, fandrao ho voafandriny ianao, fa fahavetavetana eo imason’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao izany.
26 Bring not therefore abomination into thine house, lest, thou be accursed like it, but vtterly abhorre it, and count it most abominable: for it is accursed.
Ary aza mitondra fahavetavetana ho ao an-tranonao, fandrao ho voaozona tahaka izany koa ianao; ho halanao sy ho fahavetavetana eo imasonao indrindra izany, fa zavatra voaozona.
