Deuteronomy 6
1 These now are the commandements, ordinances, and lawes, which the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that ye might doe them in the land whither ye go to possesse it:

2 That thou mightest feare the Lord thy God, and keepe all his ordinances, and his commandements which I commaund thee, thou, and thy sonne, and thy sonnes sonne all the dayes of thy life, euen that thy dayes may be prolonged.
To tiah ni nangmah hoi na caanawk, na caanawk ih caa patoengnawk mah, kang paek ih lokcaekhaih hoi zaehhoihaih daan loknawk to hing thung pazui o tih, na Angraeng Sithaw to zii o ueloe, hinglung doeh sawk o tih.
3 Heare therefore, O Israel, and take heede to doe it, that it may go well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily in the land that floweth with milke and hony, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
Aw Israel kaminawk, tahngai oh; nam panawk ih Angraeng Sithaw mah nangcae khaeah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, nangcae loe tahnutui hoi khoitui longhaih prae ah, khosak na hoih o tih, pop parai ah nang pung o thaih hanah, acoehaih hoiah pazui oh.
4 Heare, O Israel, The Lord our God is Lord onely,
Aw Israel kaminawk, tahngai oh; aicae Angraeng Sithaw loe, maeto khue kaom Angraeng ah oh.
5 And thou shalt loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy might.
Na Angraeng Sithaw to na palungthin boih, na hinghaih boih, na thacakhaih boih hoiah palung ah.
6 And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart.
Vaihniah kang thuih o ih hae loknawk hae na palungthin thungah pakuem oh;
7 And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:
na caanawk ih caa patoeng khaeah doeh kahoih ah patuk oh; imthung ah nang hnut o naah maw, loklam na caeh o naah maw, na iih o moe, nang thawk o naah maw doeh thui pae oh.
8 And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hand, and they shalbe as frontlets betweene thine eyes.
Na ban pongah to loknawk to angmathaih ah pathlet oh loe, na mik salak ih lu pataeh nuiah doeh zaeng oh.
9 Also thou shalt write them vpon ye postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates.
Na khongkha hoi na imthung ih tung pongah doeh tarik oh.
10 And when the Lord thy God hath brought thee into the land, which he sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob, to giue to thee, with great and goodly cities which thou buildedst not,
Na Angraeng Sithaw mah na sah o ai ih kalen parai, kahoih phi vangpuinawk nangcaeh khaeah paek hanah, nam pa Abraham, Isak hoi Jakob khaeah lokkam ih prae thungah ang caeh haih naah loe,
11 And houses full of all maner of goods which thou filledst not, and welles digged which thou diggedst not, vineyards and oliue trees which thou plantedst not, and when thou hast eaten and art full,
na sah o ai ih kahoih hmuennawk hoiah kakoi imnawk, na takaeh o ai ih tuikhawnawk, na patit o ai ih misur takhanawk hoi olive kungnawk to caak moe, zok nam hah o haih atue om tih.
12 Beware least thou forget the Lord, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Misong ah na oh o haih, Izip prae thung hoiah zaehoikung, Angraeng to na pahnet o han ai ah acoe oh.
13 Thou shalt feare the Lord thy God, and serue him, and shalt sweare by his Name.
Na Angraeng Sithaw to zii oh loe, anih ih tok khue to sah oh; anih ih ahmin hoiah lokkamhaih to sah oh.
14 Ye shall not walke after other gods, after any of the gods of the people which are round about you,
Nangcae taengah kaom kaminawk ih, sithawnawk hoi kalah sithawnawk hnukah patom o hmah;
15 (For the Lord thy God is a ielous God among you: ) least the wrath of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from the face of the earth.
to tih ai nahaeloe nangcae salakah kaom, na Angraeng Sithaw loe ut panoek Sithaw ah oh pongah, nangcae nuiah na Angraeng Sithaw palungphuihaih hmai baktiah kangh ueloe, long nui hoiah na tamit o boih moeng tih.
16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye did tempt him in Massah:
Massah ah na sak o ih baktih toengah, na Angraeng Sithaw to tanoek o hmah.
17 But ye shall keepe diligently the commandements of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his ordinances which he hath commanded thee,
Na Angraeng Sithaw mah paek ih, pazui han koi a thuih ih loknawk hoi zaehhoihaih daannawk to nangcae mah kahoih ah pazui oh.
18 And thou shalt doe that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that thou mayest prosper, and that thou mayest go in, and possesse that good land which the Lord sware vnto thy fathers,
Angraeng hmaa ah katoeng hoi kahoih hmuen to sah oh; to tiah nahaeloe Angraeng mah nam panawk khaeah paek han lokkam ih, prae thungah na kun o thaih ueloe, khosak na hoih o tih,
19 To cast out all thine enemies before thee, as the Lord hath sayd.

20 When thy sonne shall aske thee in time to come, saying, What meane these testimonies, and ordinances, and Lawes, which the Lord our God hath commanded you?
Hmabang tue ah na caa mah, Aicae Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih ih pazui han koi loknawk hoi lokcaekhaihnawk loe tih thuih koehhaih ih aa? tiah dueng nahaeloe,
21 Then shalt thou say vnto thy sonne, We were Pharaohs bondmen in Egypt: but the Lord brought vs out of Egypt with a mightie hand.
na caa khaeah, Kaicae loe Izip prae ah Faro ih misong ah ka oh o; toe a ban thacakhaih hoiah Angraeng mah Izip prae thung hoiah tacawt haih;
22 And the Lord shewed signes and wonders great and euill vpon Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his housholde, before our eyes,
Angraeng mah kaicae mikhnuk ah, angmathaih, dawnrai hmuennawk, zit kathok, kalen parai hmuennawk to Izip prae, Faro hoi anih ih imthung takoh boih nuiah phaksak.
23 And brought vs out from thence, to bring vs in, and to giue vs the land which he sware vnto our fathers.
Toe aicae ampanawk khaeah paek hanah sak ih lokkamhaih baktih toengah, to prae thungah akunsak hanah Izip prae thung hoiah kaicae hae ang tacawt haih.
24 Therefore the Lord hath commanded vs, to doe all these ordinances, and to feare the Lord our God, that it may goe euer well with vs, and that he may preserue vs aliue as at this present.
Aicae Angraeng Sithaw to zit moe, hae zaehhoihaih daannawk pazui boih hanah, Angraeng mah lokthuih; vaihni khoek to anih mah tahmenhaih amtuengsak baktih toengah, aicae hinghaih doeh na pathlung pae tih.
25 Moreouer, this shall be our righteousnes before the Lord our God, if we take heede to keepe all these commandements, as he hath commanded vs.
Hae kaaloknawk hae aicae Angraeng Sithaw hmaa ah a pazui o thaih boih nahaeloe, aicae toenghaih ah om tih, tiah thui pae oh, tiah a naa.
