Deuteronomy 33
1 Nowe this is the blessing wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death, and said,
Yei ne nhyira a Onyankopɔn onipa Mose de hyiraa Israelfoɔ no ansa na ɔrewu:
2 The Lord came from Sinai, and rose vp from Seir vnto them, and appeared clearely from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of Saints, and at his right hand a firie Lawe for them.
Ɔkaa sɛ, “Awurade firi Sinai ba bɛpuee yɛn so firii Seir; ɔhran firii Paran bepɔ so. Ɔde akronkronfoɔ pii ba firii anafoɔ fam ne mmepɔ nsianeɛ so.
3 Though hee loue the people, yet all thy Saints are in thine handes: and they are humbled at thy foete, to receiue thy words.
Nokorɛ mu, wo wodɔ wo nnipa no, akronkronfoɔ nyinaa wɔ wo nsam. Wɔkoto wo nan ase, na wɔnya nkyerɛkyerɛ firi wo hɔ;
4 Moses commanded vs a Lawe for an inheritance of the Congregation of Iaakob.
mmara a Mose de maa yɛn no: Yakob nkurɔfoɔ agyapadeɛ.
5 Then he was among the righteous people, as King, when the heades of the people, and the tribes of Israel were assembled.
Awurade yɛɛ ɔhene wɔ Yeshurun ɛberɛ a nnipa no ntuanofoɔ hyiaa Israel mmusuakuo no.
6 Let Reuben liue, and not die, though his men be a small nomber.
“Ma Ruben nya nkwa. Mma nʼase ntɔre. Na ne mmarima nso, mma wɔn so nhwan.”
7 And thus he blessed Iudah, and said, Heare, O Lord, the voyce of Iudah, and bring him vnto his people: his hands shalbe sufficient for him, if thou helpe him against his enemies.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Yuda abusuakuo ho nie: “Tie Ao Awurade, tie Yuda sufrɛ fa no brɛ ne nkurɔfoɔ. Ɔde nʼankasa ahoɔden bɔ ne ho ban. Yɛ ne ɔboafoɔ na tia nʼatamfoɔ!”
8 And of Leui he said, Let thy Thummim and thine Vrim be with thine Holy one, whome thou diddest proue in Massah, and didst cause him to striue at the waters of Meribah.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Lewi abusuakuo ho nie: “Ao Awurade, wode ade kronkron ama wʼasomfoɔ nokwafoɔ Lewifoɔ. Wosɔɔ wɔn hwɛɛ wɔ Masa wone wɔn koeɛ wɔ Meriba asuo ho.
9 Who said vnto his father and to his mother, I haue not seene him, neither knewe he his brethren, nor knewe his owne children: for they obserued thy word, and kept thy couenant.
Lewifoɔ tiee wʼasɛm bɔɔ wʼapam no ho ban. Wɔdii wo nokorɛ sene sɛdeɛ wɔdii wɔn awofoɔ, wɔn abusuafoɔ ne wɔn mma nokorɛ.
10 They shall teach Iaakob thy iudgements, and Israel thy Lawe: they shall put incense before thy face, and the burnt offring vpon thine altar.
Afei, ma wɔnkyerɛ Yakob wo mmara no. Ma wɔmfa wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no mma Israelfoɔ. Wɔde aduhwam bɛba wʼanim Abɛbɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ wɔ afɔrebukyia so.
11 Blesse, O Lord, his substance, and accept the worke of his handes: smite through ye loynes of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not againe.
Hyira Lewifoɔ, Ao Awurade na ma wɔn nnwuma nyinaa nsɔ wʼani. Bubu wɔn atamfoɔ nnwonku; bɔ wɔn atamfoɔ hwe fam a wɔnsɔre bio.”
12 Of Beniamin he said, The beloued of the Lord shall dwell in safetie by him: the Lord shall couer him all the day long, and dwell betweene his shoulders.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Benyamin abusuakuo ho nie: “Awurade dɔ Benyamin nkurɔfoɔ na wɔnya banbɔ wɔ ne mu. Ɔtwa wɔn ho hyia ɛberɛ biara na ɔbɔ wɔn ho ban firi ɔhaw biara mu.”
13 And of Ioseph hee sayde, Blessed of the Lord is his land for the sweetenesse of heauen, for the dewe, and for the depth lying beneath,
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Yosef mmusuakuo ho nie: “Awurade nhyira wɔn nsase; ɔmfa ne bosuo pa a ɛfiri sorosoro ne nsuo a ɛfiri asase ase pɛɛ no,
14 And for the sweete increase of the sunne, and for the sweete increase of the moone,
ne nnepa a ɛnyini wɔ owia mu ne adonneɛ a ɛba ɔbosome biara mu;
15 And for the sweetenes of the top of the ancient mountaines, and for the sweetenes of the olde hilles,
ne nnɔbaeɛ pa a ɛfiri tete mmepɔ mu ne deɛ abu so wɔ nkokoɔ a ɛtim hɔ daa mu
16 And for the sweetenesse of the earth, and abundance thereof: and the good will of him that dwelt in the bushe, shall come vpon the head of Ioseph, and vpon the toppe of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
ne akyɛdeɛ amapa dodoɔ a ɛfiri asase mu, ne adom a ɛfiri deɛ ɔpuee wɔ ogya a ɛrederɛ no mu. Saa nhyira yi nyinaa mmra Yosef so nhyɛ no ahenkyɛ wɔ ne nuanom mu.
17 His beautie shalbe like his first borne bullock, and his hornes as the hornes of an vnicorne: with them hee shall smite the people together, euen the endes of the world: these are also the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasseh.
Yosef wɔ ahoɔden ne tumi sɛ nantwie ba. Nʼahoɔden te sɛ ɔtrɔm mmɛn. Ɔde bɛwowɔ akyirikyiri aman, apamo wɔn akɔ asase ano. Yei ne me nhyira a mede rema Efraim bebrebe ne Manase mpempem no.”
18 And of Zebulun he sayd, Reioice, Zebulun, in thy going out, and thou Isshachar in thy tents.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Sebulon ne Isakar mmusuakuo ho nie: “Sebulon asefoɔ, monnya nkɔsoɔ wɔ mo akwantuo biara mu. Isakar asefoɔ, monnya nkɔsoɔ wɔ mo fie ntomadan mu.
19 They shall call ye people vnto the mountaine: there they shall offer the sacrifices of righteousnesse: for they shall sucke of the abundance of the sea, and of the treasures hid in the sand.
Wɔfrɛ nnipa no kɔ bepɔ no so kɔbɔ afɔdeɛ a ɛdi mu wɔ hɔ. Wɔnya mfasoɔ firi ɛpo mu nnepa ne ademudeɛ a ahinta wɔ anwea mu.”
20 Also of Gad he said, Blessed be hee that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, that catcheth for his praye the arme with the head.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Gad abusuakuo ho nie: “Nhyira nka obi a ɔtrɛ Gad mantam mu! Gad ayɛ krado sɛ gyata a ɔrebɛtu abasa anaa wate etire.
21 And hee looked to himselfe at the beginning, because there was a portion of the Lawe-giuer hid: yet hee shall come with the heades of the people, to execute the iustice of the Lord, and his iudgements with Israel.
Gad nkurɔfoɔ gyee asase pa no maa wɔn ho; ɔkannifoɔ kyɛfa na wɔde maa wɔn. Ɛberɛ a nkurɔfoɔ no mpanimfoɔ hyiaeɛ no, wɔde Awurade atɛntenenee yɛɛ adwuma, na wɔdii mmara a wɔde maa Israelfoɔ no so.”
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lions whelp: he shall leape from Bashan.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Dan abusuakuo ho nie: “Dan yɛ gyata ba a ɔrehurihuri firi Basan.”
23 Also of Naphtali he sayd, O Naphtali, satisfied with fauour, and filled with the blessing of the Lord, possesse the West and the South.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Naftali abusuakuo ho nie: “Ao Naftali, wowɔ adom bebree na Awurade nhyira ayɛ wo ma; atɔeɛ fam ne anafoɔ fam bɛyɛ wo kyɛfa.”
24 And of Asher he saide, Asher shalbe blessed with children: he shalbe acceptable vnto his brethren, and shall dippe his foote in oyle.
Asɛm a Mose ka faa Aser abusuakuo ho nie: “Aser nnya animuonyam wɔ ne nuanom anim; ne nuanom mfa anidie mma no; wɔmfa ngo nsra ne nan ho.
25 Thy shooes shalbe yron and brasse, and thy strength shall continue as long as thou liuest.
Wʼapono ho nkyerewa nyɛ dadeɛ ne kɔbere mfrafraeɛ; Awurade mmɔ wo ho ban wo nkwa nna nyinaa.
26 There is none like God, O righteous people, which rideth vpon the heauens for thine helpe, and on the cloudes in his glory.
“Onyankopɔn biara nni hɔ sɛ Yeshurun Onyankopɔn; Ɔnam ɔsorosoro bɛboa wo, ɔde ne tumi nante omununkum mu.
27 The eternall God is thy refuge, and vnder his armes thou art for euer: hee shall cast out the enemie before thee, and will say, Destroy them.
Onyankopɔn a ɔwɔ hɔ daa yɛ wo dwanekɔbea; nʼabasa a ɛwɔ hɔ daa no kura wo. Ɔbɛpam wʼatamfoɔ afiri wʼanim; Ɔno na ɔteaam sɛ, ‘Sɛe wɔn!’
28 Then Israel the fountaine of Iaakob shall dwell alone in safetie in a lande of wheat, and wine: also his heauens shall drop the dewe.
Enti, Israel bɛtena ase asomdwoeɛ mu; Yakob a wanya nkɔsoɔ bɛnya banbɔ wɔ asase a aduane ne nsã wɔ so, na ɔsoro tɔ bosuo gu so.
29 Blessed art thou, O Israel: who is like vnto thee, O people saued by the Lord, the shielde of thine helpe, and which is the sword of thy glorie? therefore thine enemies shall bee in subiection to thee, and thou shalt tread vpon their hie places.
Nhyira nka mo, Ao Israel! Hwan na ɔte sɛ mo, nnipa a Awurade agye mo nkwa. Ɔyɛ mo akokyɛm ne mo ɔboafoɔ ne mo nkonimdie akofena! Mo atamfoɔ bɛkoto mo anim, na moatiatia wɔn so.”
