Deuteronomy 16
1 Thou shalt keepe the moneth of Abib, and thou shalt celebrate the Passeouer vnto the Lord thy God: for in the moneth of Abib ye Lord thy God brought thee out of Egypt by night.
Achte auf den Monat Abib, daß du Jahwe, deinem Gotte, zu Ehren Passah feierst; denn im Monat Abib hat dich Jahwe, dein Gott, bei Nacht aus Ägypten hinweggeführt.
2 Thou shalt therefore offer the Passeouer vnto the Lord thy God, of sheepe and bullockes in the place where the Lord shall chose to cause his Name to dwell.
Und du sollst als Passahopfer für Jahwe, deinen Gott, Schafe und Rinder schlachten an der Stätte, die Jahwe erwählen wird, um seinen Namen daselbst wohnen zu lassen.
3 Thou shalt eate no leauened bread with it: but seuen dayes shalt thou eate vnleauened bread therewith, euen the bread of tribulation: for thou camest out of the land of Egypt in haste, that thou maist remember ye day whe thou camest out of the land of Egypt, all the dayes of thy life.
Du darfst nichts Gesäuertes dazu essen; sieben Tage lang sollst du ungesäuerte Brote essen, Brot des Elends, denn in ängstlicher Hast bist du aus Ägypten weggezogen -, damit du an den Tag deines Auszugs aus Ägypten dein Leben lang gedenkest.
4 And there shalbe no leauen seene with thee in all thy coastes seuen dayes long: neither shall there remaine the night any of the flesh vntil the morning which thou offeredst ye first day at euen.
Sieben Tage lang darf sich in deinem ganzen Bereiche kein Sauerteig bei dir vorfinden, und von dem Fleische, das du am ersten Tag am Abend opferst, darf nichts über Nacht bis zum Morgen bleiben.
5 Thou maist not offer ye Passeouer within any of thy gates, which ye Lord thy God giueth thee:
Du darfst das Passahopfer nicht in einer deiner Ortschaften feiern, die dir Jahwe, dein Gott, giebt;
6 But in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to place his Name, there thou shalt offer the Passeouer at euen, about the going downe of the sunne, in the season that thou camest out of Egypt.
sondern an der Stätte, die Jahwe, dein Gott, erwählen wird, um seinen Namen daselbst wohnen zu lassen, sollst du das Passahopfer schlachten, am Abend, wenn die Sonne untergeht, zu der Zeit, wo du aus Ägypten wegzogst,
7 And thou shalt roste and eate it in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, and shalt returne on the morowe, and goe vnto thy tentes.
und sollst es kochen und essen an der Stätte, die Jahwe, dein Gott, erwählen wird, und am andern Morgen sollst du dich auf den Weg machen, um wieder heimzukehren.
8 Six daies shalt thou eate vnleauened bread, and ye seuenth day shall be a solemne assemblie to ye Lord thy God thou shalt do no worke therein.
Sechs Tage lang sollst du ungesäuerte Brote essen, und am siebenten Tag ist Festversammlung für Jahwe, deinen Gott; da darfst du keine Arbeit verrichten.
9 Seuen weekes shalt thou nomber vnto thee, and shalt beginne to nomber ye seuen weekes, when thou beginnest to put the sickel to ye corne:
Sieben Wochen sollst du dir abzählen; von da an, wo man zuerst die Sichel an die Halme legte, sollst du anfangen, sieben Wochen zu zählen,
10 And thou shalt keepe the feast of weekes vnto the Lord thy God, euen a free gift of thine hand, which thou shalt giue vnto the Lord thy God, as the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.
und sollst dann Jahwe, deinem Gotte, das Wochenfest halten, mit den freiwilligen Gaben, die deine Hand geben wird je nach dem Maße des Segens, den dir Jahwe, dein Gott, verleiht,
11 And thou shalt reioyce before the Lord thy God, thou and thy sonne, and thy daughter, and thy seruant, and thy maide, and the Leuite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherles, and the widowe, that are among you, in the place which the Lord thy God shall chuse to place his Name there,
und sollst vor Jahwe, deinem Gotte, fröhlich sein, du und dein Sohn und deine Tochter, dein Sklave und deine Sklavin, der Levit, der sich an deinem Wohnort aufhält, und der Fremdling, die Waise und die Witwe, die unter dir wohnen, an der Stätte, die Jahwe, dein Gott, erwählen wird, um seinen Namen daselbst wohnen zu lassen.
12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a seruant in Egypt: therefore thou shalt obserue and doe these ordinances.
Und du sollst daran denken, daß du Sklave in Ägypten gewesen bist, und auf die Befolgung dieser Satzungen achten.
13 Thou shalt obserue the feast of the Tabernacles seuen daies, when thou hast gathered in thy corne, and thy wine.
Das Laubhüttenfest sollst du sieben Tage lang feiern, wenn du den Ertrag von deiner Tenne und von deiner Kelter einheimsest.
14 And thou shalt reioyce in thy feast, thou, and thy sonne, and thy daughter, and thy seruant, and thy maid, and the Leuite, and the stranger, and the fatherlesse, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
Und du sollst an deinem Feste fröhlich sein, du und dein Sohn und deine Tochter, dein Sklave und deine SkIavin, der Levit, der Fremdling, die Waise und die Witwe, die in deinen Ortschaften wohnen.
15 Seuen daies shalt thou keepe a feast vnto the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord shall chuse: when the Lord thy God shall blesse thee in all thine increase, and in all the workes of thine hands, thou shalt in any case be glad.
Sieben Tage lang sollst du Jahwe, deinem Gott, an der Stätte feiern, die Jahwe erwählen wird. Denn Jahwe, dein Gott, wird dich segnen in allem, was dir zuwächst, und bei allem, was deine Hände thun; darum sollst du überaus fröhlich sein.
16 Three times in the yeere shall all the males appeare before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall chuse: in the feast of the vnleauened bread, and in the feast of the weekes, and in the feast of the Tabernacles: and they shall not appeare before the Lord emptie.
Dreimal im Jahre soll alles, was männlich unter dir ist, vor Jahwe, deinem Gott, erscheinen, an der Stätte, die er erwählen wird, am Feste der ungesäuerten Brote, am Wochenfest und am Laubhüttenfest, und vor Jahwe soll man nicht mit leeren Händen erscheinen;
17 Euery man shall giue according to the gift of his hand, and according to the blessing of the Lord thy God, which he hath giuen thee.
jeder soll mit dem kommen, was er zu geben vermag, je nach dem Segen, den dir Jahwe, dein Gott, gegeben hat.
18 Iudges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy cities, which the Lord thy God giueth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall iudge the people with righteous iudgement.
Richter und Amtleute sollst du dir Stamm für Stamm in allen deinen Ortschaften, die dir Jahwe, dein Gott, giebt, einsetzen, damit sie das Volk mit Gerechtigkeit richten.
19 Wrest not thou ye Law, nor respect any person, neither take rewarde: for the reward blindeth ye eyes of the wise, and peruerteth ye worde of ye iust.
Du sollst das Recht nicht beugen, nicht parteilich sein und nicht Geschenke annehmen; denn das Geschenk macht die Weisen blind und verkehrt die gerechte Sache.
20 That which is iust and right shalt thou follow, that thou maiest liue, and possesse the land which the Lord thy God giueth thee.
Nichts als das Recht sollst du im Auge haben, auf daß du leben bleibest im Besitze des Landes, welches dir Jahwe, dein Gott, giebt.
21 Thou shalt plant thee no groue of any trees neere vnto the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
Du sollst dir neben den Altar Jahwes, deines Gottes, den du dir errichtest, keinen heiligen Baum von irgend welchem Holz einpflanzen
22 Thou shalt set thee vp no pillar, which thing the Lord thy God hateth.
und sollst dir keinen Malstein aufrichten, wie ihn Jahwe, dein Gott, haßt.
