Deuteronomy 11
1 Therefore thou shalt loue the Lord thy God, and shalt keepe that, which he commandeth to be kept: that is, his ordinances, and his lawes, and his commandements alway.
१म्हणून तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्यांच्यावर प्रेम करा. त्याच्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे वागा. त्याने घालून दिलेल्या नियमांचे, आज्ञांचे पालन करा.
2 And consider this day (for I speake not to your children, which haue neither knowen nor seene) the chastisement of the Lord your God, his greatnesse, his mighty hande, and his stretched out arme,
२परमेश्वराने तुमच्यासाठी केलेले सर्व प्रताप आज आठवा. हे मी तुम्हासच सांगत आहे. तुमच्या मुलाबाळांना नव्हे. कारण त्यांनी या शिस्तींपैकी काहीच पाहिले किंव्हा अनुभवले नाही. तुमचा देव परमेश्वर त्याची थोरवी, त्याचे सामर्थ्य व पराक्रमी हात व ऊगारलेला बाहू ह्याच्याद्ववारे,
3 And his signes, and his actes, which hee did in the middes of Egypt vnto Pharaoh the King of Egypt and vnto all his land:
३मिसरचा राजा फारो व त्याचा सर्व देश ह्याला त्याने कोणती चिन्हे व चमत्कार दाखवली हे तुम्ही पाहिलेच आहे.
4 And what he did vnto the hoste of the Egyptians, vnto their horses, and to their charets, when he caused the waters of the red Sea to ouerflowe them, as they pursued after you, and the Lord destroied them vnto this day:
४मिसरचे सैन्य, त्यांचे घोडे, रथ यांची कशी दैना झाली, तुमचा ते पाठलाग करत असताना त्यांच्यावर तांबड्या समुद्राच्या पाण्याचा लोंढा कसा आणला हेही तुम्ही पाहिले. परमेश्वराने त्यांना पूर्ण नेस्तनाबूत केले.
5 And what he did vnto you in the wildernesse, vntill yee came vnto this place:
५तुम्ही येथे येईपर्यंत रानावनातून तुम्हास त्याने कसे आणले हे तुम्हास माहीत आहेच.
6 And what he did vnto Dathan and Abiram the sonnes of Eliab ye sonne of Reuben, when the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them with their housholds and their tents, and all their substance that they had in the middes of al Israel.
६त्याचप्रमाणे रऊबेनाचा मुलगा अलीयाब याच्या दाथान व अबीराम या मुलांचे देवाने काय केले ते तुम्हास माहीत आहे. त्यांना आणि त्यांचे कुटुंबीय, त्यांचे तंबू, नोकरचाकर व गुरेढोरे यांना सर्व इस्राएलादेखत पृथ्वीने आपल्या पोटात घेतले.
7 For your eyes haue seene all the great actes of the Lord which he did.
७परमेश्वराची ही महान कृत्ये तुमच्या मुलांनी नाही, तर तुम्ही तुमच्या डोळ्यांनी पाहिलीत.
8 Therefore shall ye keepe all the commandements, which I commaund you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possesse the land whither ye goe to possesse it:
८तेव्हा आज मी देतो ती प्रत्येक आज्ञा कटाक्षाने पाळा त्यामुळे तुम्ही बलशाली व्हाल, यार्देन ओलांडून जो देश ताब्यात घ्यायला तुम्ही सिद्ध झाला आहात तो हस्तगत कराल.
9 Also that ye may prolong your daies in the land, which the Lord sware vnto your fathers, to giue vnto them and to their seede, euen a lande that floweth with milke and honie.
९त्या देशात तुम्ही चिरकाल रहाल. तुमच्या पूर्वजांना व त्यांच्या वंशजांना दुधामधाचा प्रदेश द्यायचे परमेश्वराने वचन दिले आहे. या प्रदेशात सुबत्ता आहे.
10 For the land whither thou goest to possesse it, is not as the lande of Egypt, from whence ye came, where thou sowedst thy seede, and wateredst it with thy feete as a garden of herbes:
१०तुम्ही जेथे जाणार आहात तो प्रदेश तुम्ही सोडून आलेल्या मिसरसारखा नाही. तेथे तुम्ही भाजीच्या मळ्याप्रमाणे बी पेरून पायांनी जमीनीला पाणी देत होता.
11 But the land whither ye goe to possesse it, is a land of mountaines and valleis, and drinketh water of the raine of heauen.
११पण आता मिळणारी जमीन तशी नाही. त्या देशामध्ये डोंगर आणि खोरी आहेत. आकाशातून पडणाऱ्या पावसाचे पाणी या भूमीला मिळते.
12 This land doth the Lord thy God care for: the eies of the Lord thy God are alwaies vpon it, from the beginning of the yeere, euen vnto the ende of the yeere.
१२तुमचा देव परमेश्वर त्या जमिनीची काळजी घेतो. वर्षांच्या सुरुवातीपासून शेवटपर्यंत त्याची या जमिनीवर कृपादृष्टी असते.
13 If yee shall hearken therefore vnto my commandements, which I commaund you this day, that yee loue the Lord your God and serue him with all your heart, and with all your soule,
१३परमेश्वर म्हणतो, ज्या आज्ञा मी आज तुम्हास देत आहे त्यांचे तुम्ही काटेकोरपणे पालन करा. मन: पूर्वक तुमचा देव परमेश्वर याची सेवा करा. त्याच्यावर प्रेम करा.
14 I also wil giue raine vnto your land in due time, the first raine and the latter, that thou maist gather in thy wheat, and thy wine, and thine oyle.
१४तसे वागलात तर तुमच्या भूमीवर मी योग्यवेळी पाऊस पाडीन. म्हणजे तुम्हास धान्य, नवीन द्राक्षरस, तेल यांचा साठा करता येईल.
15 Also I will send grasse in thy fieldes, for thy cattel, that thou maist eate, and haue inough.
१५माझ्यामुळे तुमच्या गुराढोरांना कुरणात गवत मिळेल. तुम्हास खाण्याकरता पुष्कळ असेल.
16 But beware lest your heart deceiue you, and lest yee turne aside, and serue other gods, and worship them,
१६पण सांभाळा, गाफील राहू नका. या देवापासून परावृत होऊन इतर दैवतांचे भजन पूजन करु नका.
17 And so the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and he shut vp the heauen, that there be no raine, and that your lande yeelde not her fruit, and yee perish quickly from the good land, which the Lord giueth you.
१७तसे केलेत तर परमेश्वराचा कोप तुमच्यावर होईल. तो आकाश बंद करील आणि मग पाऊस पडणार नाही. जमिनीत पीक येणार नाही. जो चांगला देश परमेश्वर तुम्हास देत आहे त्यामध्ये तुम्हास लवकरच मरण येईल.
18 Therefore shall ye lay vp these my words in your heart and in your soule, and binde them for a signe vpon your hand, that they may be as a frontlet betweene your eyes,
१८म्हणून सांगतो या आज्ञा लक्षात ठेवा. त्या हृदयात साठवून ठेवा. त्या लिहून ठेवा. आणि लक्षात राहण्यासाठी हातावर चिन्हादाखल बांधा व कपाळावर लावा.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them, whe thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp.
१९आपल्या मुलाबाळांना हे नियम शिकवा. घरीदारी, झोपताना, झोपून उठताना त्याविषयी बोलत राहा.
20 And thou shalt write them vpon the postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates,
२०घराच्या फाटकांवर, आणि दारांच्या खांबांवर ही वचने लिहा.
21 That your daies may be multiplied, and the daies of your children, in ye land which the Lord sware vnto your fathers to giue them, as long as the heauens are aboue the earth.
२१म्हणजे जो देश परमेश्वराने तुमच्या पूर्वजांना शपथपूर्वक देऊ केला त्या देशात तुम्ही आणि तुमची मुलेबाळे पृथ्वीवर आकाशाचे छप्पर असेपर्यंत रहाल.
22 For if ye keepe diligently all these commandements, which I command you to doe: that is, to loue the Lord your God, to walke in all his waies, and to cleaue vnto him,
२२मी सांगतो त्या सर्व आज्ञा नीट पाळा. परमेश्वर तुमचा देव ह्याजवर प्रेम करा. त्याने सांगितलेल्या मार्गाने जा. त्याच्यावरच निष्ठा ठेवा.
23 Then will the Lord cast out all these nations before you, and ye shall possesse great nations and mightier then you.
२३म्हणजे तुम्ही जाल तेव्हा तेथील इतर राष्ट्रांना परमेश्वर तेथून हुसकावून लावेल. तुमच्यापेक्षा मोठ्या आणि सामर्थ्यवान राष्ट्रावर तुम्ही ताबा मिळवाल.
24 All the places whereon the soles of your feete shall tread, shalbe yours: your coast shalbe from the wildernes and from Lebanon, and from the Riuer, euen the riuer Perath, vnto ye vttermost Sea.
२४जेथे जेथे तुम्ही पाय ठेवाल ती जमीन तुमची होईल. दक्षिणेतील वाळवंटापासून उत्तरेला लबानोन पर्यंत आणि पूर्वेला फरात नदीपासून पश्चिमेला समुद्रापर्यंत एवढा प्रदेश तुमचा होईल.
25 No man shall stande against you: for the Lord your God shall cast the feare and dread of you vpon all the land that ye shall treade vpon, as he hath said vnto you.
२५कोणीही तुमचा सामना करु शकणार नाही. परमेश्वर देवाने तुम्हास सांगितल्याप्रमाणे, तुम्ही जेथे जेथे जाल तेथे लोकांस तुमची दहशत वाटेल.
26 Beholde, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
२६आज मी तुमच्यापुढे आशीर्वाद आणि शाप हे पर्याय ठेवत आहे. त्यातून निवड करा.
27 The blessing, if ye obey the commandements of the Lord your God which I command you this day:
२७आज मी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर ह्याच्या ज्या आज्ञा तुम्हास सांगितल्या त्या नीट लक्षपूर्वक पाळल्यात तर तुम्हास आशीर्वाद मिळेल.
28 And ye curse, if ye wil not obey the commandements of the Lord your God, but turne out of the way, which I commande you this day, to go after other gods, which ye haue not knowen.
२८पण या आज्ञा न ऐकता भलतीकडे वळालात तर शाप मिळेल. तेव्हा आज मी सांगितल्या मार्गानेच जा. इतर दैवतांच्या मागे लागू नका. परमेश्वरास तुम्ही ओळखता पण इतर दैवतांची तुम्हास ओळख नाही.
29 When the Lord thy God therefore hath brought thee into ye lande, whither thou goest to possesse it, then thou shalt put the blessing vpon mount Gerizim, and the curse vpon mount Ebal.
२९तुमचा देव परमेश्वर तुम्हास त्या प्रदेशात घेऊन जाईल. तुम्ही लवकरच तो प्रदेश ताब्यात घ्याल. तेथे गेल्याबरोबर तुम्ही गरिज्जीम डोंगरावर जा, व आशीर्वाद उच्चारा. मग तेथून एबाल डोंगरावर जाऊन शापवाणीचा उच्चार करा.
30 Are they not beyond Iorden on that part, where the sunne goeth downe in the land of the Canaanites, which dwel in the plaine ouer against Gilgal, beside the groue of Moreh?
३०हे डोंगर यार्देन नदीच्या पलीकडे, सुर्य माळवतो त्या दिशेला अराबात राहणाऱ्या कनानी लोकांच्या प्रदेशात, पश्चिमेकडे गिलगाल शहराजवळच्या मोरे येथील ओक वृक्षांजवळ आहेत.
31 For yee shall passe ouer Iorden, to goe in to possesse the land, which ye Lord your God giueth you, and ye shall possesse it, and dwell therein.
३१तुम्ही यार्देन नदी पार करून जाल. तुमचा देव परमेश्वर देत असलेली जमीन तुम्ही ताब्यात घ्याल. ती तुमची असेल. त्यामध्ये वस्ती कराल तेव्हा
32 Take heede therefore that ye doe all the commandements and the lawes, which I set before you this day.
३२मी आज सांगितलेले नियम व विधी यांचे काळजीपूर्वक पालन करा.
