Deuteronomy 11
1 Therefore thou shalt loue the Lord thy God, and shalt keepe that, which he commandeth to be kept: that is, his ordinances, and his lawes, and his commandements alway.
Hụ Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke gị nʼanya, na-edebezukwa ikpe ya na ụkpụrụ ya na ihe niile o nyere nʼiwu.
2 And consider this day (for I speake not to your children, which haue neither knowen nor seene) the chastisement of the Lord your God, his greatnesse, his mighty hande, and his stretched out arme,
Chetanụ taa na ọ bụghị ụmụ unu, kama ọ bụ unu onwe unu jiri anya unu hụ ịdọ aka na ntị Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu. Ọ bụ unu hụrụ ịdị ukwuu ya, ịdị ike ya, ịrụsị ọrụ ike nke ike ya,
3 And his signes, and his actes, which hee did in the middes of Egypt vnto Pharaoh the King of Egypt and vnto all his land:
ihe ịrịbama ya niile na ihe niile o mere nʼIjipt, otu o si megide Fero eze Ijipt na ndị ala Ijipt niile.
4 And what he did vnto the hoste of the Egyptians, vnto their horses, and to their charets, when he caused the waters of the red Sea to ouerflowe them, as they pursued after you, and the Lord destroied them vnto this day:
Unu hụrụ ihe o mere ndị agha Ijipt na ịnyịnya ha, na ụgbọ agha ha. Otu o si mee ka ha laa nʼiyi nʼime Osimiri Uhie, mgbe ha na-achụ unu ọsọ, na otu Onyenwe anyị si wetara ha ịla nʼiyi ebighị ebi.
5 And what he did vnto you in the wildernesse, vntill yee came vnto this place:
Ọ bụghị ụmụ unu hụrụ ihe o meere unu nʼoge ahụ niile unu nọ nʼọzara tutu unu erute nʼebe a,
6 And what he did vnto Dathan and Abiram the sonnes of Eliab ye sonne of Reuben, when the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them with their housholds and their tents, and all their substance that they had in the middes of al Israel.
na ihe o mere Datan na Abiram, ụmụ Eliab, ndị si nʼebo Ruben, otu ala si meghee ọnụ ya loda ha, ha na ezinaụlọ ha, ụlọ ikwu ha na ihe ọbụla nke dị ndụ ha nwere nʼetiti Izrel niile.
7 For your eyes haue seene all the great actes of the Lord which he did.
Ma ọ bụ anya unu hụrụ oke ihe ịtụnanya ndị a niile Onyenwe anyị mere.
8 Therefore shall ye keepe all the commandements, which I commaund you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possesse the land whither ye goe to possesse it:
Lezienụ anya debe iwu ndị a m na-enye unu taa, ka unu nwee ike, baa bichikwaa ala ahụ unu na-agafe Jọdan inweta,
9 Also that ye may prolong your daies in the land, which the Lord sware vnto your fathers, to giue vnto them and to their seede, euen a lande that floweth with milke and honie.
ka unu bie ogologo ndụ nʼime ala ahụ Onyenwe anyị ṅụrụ nʼiyi inye nna nna unu ha, na ụmụ ụmụ ha, ala mmiri ara ehi na mmanụ aṅụ na-eru na ya.
10 For the land whither thou goest to possesse it, is not as the lande of Egypt, from whence ye came, where thou sowedst thy seede, and wateredst it with thy feete as a garden of herbes:
Nʼihi na ala a unu na-aga ịbanye nʼime ya inweta adịghị ka ala Ijipt, ebe unu si pụta, ebe ị na-agha mkpụrụ gị, were ụkwụ tụwara mmiri ụzọ, dịka a na-eme nʼubi akwụkwọ nri.
11 But the land whither ye goe to possesse it, is a land of mountaines and valleis, and drinketh water of the raine of heauen.
Ma ala unu na-agafe Jọdan inweta bụ ala nwere ugwu na ndagwurugwu, nke na-aṅụ mmiri ozuzo si nʼeluigwe.
12 This land doth the Lord thy God care for: the eies of the Lord thy God are alwaies vpon it, from the beginning of the yeere, euen vnto the ende of the yeere.
Ọ bụ ala nke Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu nʼonwe ya na-elekọta! Site nʼụbọchị ruo nʼụbọchị, sitekwa na mbido afọ ruo nʼọgwụgwụ afọ, anya ya adịghị apụ na ya.
13 If yee shall hearken therefore vnto my commandements, which I commaund you this day, that yee loue the Lord your God and serue him with all your heart, and with all your soule,
Ya mere, ọ bụrụ na unu ga-eji ntụkwasị obi rube isi nʼiwu ya niile, nke m na-enye unu taa, ọ bụrụkwa na unu ga-eji obi unu niile na mmụọ unu niile hụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu nʼanya, ọ bụrụkwa na unu ga-efe ya ofufe,
14 I also wil giue raine vnto your land in due time, the first raine and the latter, that thou maist gather in thy wheat, and thy wine, and thine oyle.
ọ ga na-ezite mmiri ozuzo nʼoge ya, mmiri ozuzo nke mbụ na nke ikpeazụ, nke ga-eme ka ọka unu mịa mkpụrụ hiri nne, ka unu nwee ọtụtụ vaịnị, nweekwa mmanụ oliv.
15 Also I will send grasse in thy fieldes, for thy cattel, that thou maist eate, and haue inough.
Ọ ga-eme ka anụ ụlọ gị nwee ahịhịa ha ga-ata, gị onwe gị ga-enwekwa ihe oriri dị ukwuu. Afọ ga-ejukwa gị nʼihe i nwere.
16 But beware lest your heart deceiue you, and lest yee turne aside, and serue other gods, and worship them,
Ma lezienụ anya, ka ahapụ ịrafu obi unu mee ka unu wezuga onwe unu, bido ife chi ndị ọzọ ofufe, kpọọkwa isiala nye ha.
17 And so the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and he shut vp the heauen, that there be no raine, and that your lande yeelde not her fruit, and yee perish quickly from the good land, which the Lord giueth you.
Mgbe ahụ, iwe Onyenwe anyị ga-adị ọkụ nʼebe unu nọ, ọ ga-agbachi eluigwe, mmiri agaghị ezo, ala agaghị epupụtakwa ihe ubi, unu ga-alakwa nʼiyi nʼotu ntabi anya, nʼezi ala ahụ Onyenwe anyị na-enye unu.
18 Therefore shall ye lay vp these my words in your heart and in your soule, and binde them for a signe vpon your hand, that they may be as a frontlet betweene your eyes,
Meenụ ka okwu m ndị a dịgide nʼobi unu na nʼime mmụọ unu. Keenụ ha dịka ihe ịrịbama nʼelu aka unu, kekwasịkwa ha dịka ihe ncheta nʼegedege ihu unu.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them, whe thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp.
Kuzierenụ ha ụmụ unu, na-ekwu ihe banyere ha mgbe ị na-anọdụ nʼụlọ gị, na mgbe ị na-aga nʼokporoụzọ, mgbe ị na-edina ala na mgbe i si nʼihe ndina bilie.
20 And thou shalt write them vpon the postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates,
Dee ha nʼelu ibo ọnụ ụlọ gị na nke ọnụ ụzọ ama gị.
21 That your daies may be multiplied, and the daies of your children, in ye land which the Lord sware vnto your fathers to giue them, as long as the heauens are aboue the earth.
Ka ụbọchị ndụ unu na nke ụmụ unu dị ogologo nʼala ahụ unu na-aga ibi nʼime ya, nke Onyenwe anyị kwere nna unu na nkwa. Dịka ogologo ụbọchị niile ha nke eluigwe dị nʼelu, ụwa dịkwa nʼokpuru ya.
22 For if ye keepe diligently all these commandements, which I command you to doe: that is, to loue the Lord your God, to walke in all his waies, and to cleaue vnto him,
Ọ bụrụ na unu elezie anya debe iwu niile m na-enye unu taa, na-ahụkwa Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu nʼanya, na-eso ụzọ ya, na-adaberekwa na ya,
23 Then will the Lord cast out all these nations before you, and ye shall possesse great nations and mightier then you.
Onyenwe anyị ga-achụpụ mba niile bi nʼala ahụ unu na-aga inweta, unu ga-anapụkwa ha ala ahụ, ọ bụladị na ha buru ibu, siekwa ike karịa unu.
24 All the places whereon the soles of your feete shall tread, shalbe yours: your coast shalbe from the wildernes and from Lebanon, and from the Riuer, euen the riuer Perath, vnto ye vttermost Sea.
Ebe ọbụla unu zọnyere ụkwụ unu nʼala ahụ aghọọla nke unu, site na ndịda Negeb ruo Lebanọn, sitekwa nʼOsimiri Yufretis ruo Osimiri Mediterenịa. Ha ga-abụ nke unu.
25 No man shall stande against you: for the Lord your God shall cast the feare and dread of you vpon all the land that ye shall treade vpon, as he hath said vnto you.
Ọ dịghị onye ọbụla pụrụ imegide unu nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu ga-emenye ha egwu na ụjọ nʼafọ nʼụzọ ọbụla unu na-aga, dịka o kwere na nkwa.
26 Beholde, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
Lee, taa, ana m eche nʼihu unu ngọzị Onyenwe anyị na ọbụbụ ọnụ.
27 The blessing, if ye obey the commandements of the Lord your God which I command you this day:
Ngọzị ga-adịrị unu ma ọ bụrụ na unu edebe iwu Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu, nke m na-enye unu taa.
28 And ye curse, if ye wil not obey the commandements of the Lord your God, but turne out of the way, which I commande you this day, to go after other gods, which ye haue not knowen.
Nkọcha ahụ ga-adị ma ọ bụrụ na unu ajụ irube isi nye iwu niile nke Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke unu, wezuga onwe unu nʼụzọ ahụ nke m nyere unu nʼiwu taa site nʼịgbaso chi ndị ọzọ, nke unu na-amaghị.
29 When the Lord thy God therefore hath brought thee into ye lande, whither thou goest to possesse it, then thou shalt put the blessing vpon mount Gerizim, and the curse vpon mount Ebal.
Mgbe Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu mere ka unu nweta ala ahụ, a ga-esite nʼelu ugwu Gerizim kwupụta ngọzị ga-adịrị unu, a ga-esitekwa nʼelu ugwu Ebal kwupụta ọbụbụ ọnụ ga-adakwasị unu.
30 Are they not beyond Iorden on that part, where the sunne goeth downe in the land of the Canaanites, which dwel in the plaine ouer against Gilgal, beside the groue of Moreh?
Gerizim na Ebal bụ ugwu dị nʼofe Jọdan, nʼakụkụ okporoụzọ dị nʼọdịda anyanwụ. Ọ dị nso nʼebe osisi ukwu ndị ahụ toro na More, nʼala ndị Kenan ahụ bi nʼAraba, nʼakụkụ Gilgal.
31 For yee shall passe ouer Iorden, to goe in to possesse the land, which ye Lord your God giueth you, and ye shall possesse it, and dwell therein.
Nʼihi na unu na-aga ịgafe osimiri Jọdan, ịbanye nweta ala ahụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu na-enye unu. Mgbe unu nwetara ya biri nʼime ya,
32 Take heede therefore that ye doe all the commandements and the lawes, which I set before you this day.
hụnụ na unu rubere isi debe iwu niile na ụkpụrụ niile m na-eche nʼihu unu taa.
