Daniel 4
1 Nebuchad-nezzar King vnto all people, nations and languages, that dwell in all the world, Peace be multiplied vnto you:
Ķēniņš Nebukadnecars visiem ļaudīm, tautām un mēlēm, kas dzīvo pa visu zemi: miers lai jums ir papilnam!
2 I thought it good to declare the signes and wonders, that the hie God hath wrought toward me.
Man ir paticis izsludināt tās zīmes un tos brīnumus, ko tas visuaugstākais Dievs pie manis darījis.
3 How great are his signes, and how mightie are his wonders! his kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
Jo Viņa zīmes ir lielas un Viņa brīnumi ir vareni, Viņa valstība ir mūžīga valstība un Viņa valdīšana paliek līdz radu radiem.
4 I Nebuchad-nezzar being at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace,
Es, Nebukadnecars, dzīvoju droši savā namā un laimīgi savā pilī.
5 Saw a dreame, which made me afraide, and the thoughtes vpon my bed, and the visions of mine head troubled me.
Tad es redzēju sapni, kas mani izbiedēja, un tās domas, ko es savā gultā domāju, un manas galvas parādīšanas mani iztrūcināja.
6 Therefore made I a decree, that they should bring all the wise men of Babel before mee, that they might declare vnto me the interpretation of the dreame.
Un es pavēlēju visus Bābeles gudros atvest manā priekšā, lai tie man teiktu šī sapņa izstāstīšanu.
7 So came the inchanters, the astrologians, the Caldeans and the sothsayers, to whom I tolde the dreame, but they could not shew me the interpretation thereof,
Tad tie gudrie, vārdotāji, Kaldeji un pareģi atnāca, un es tiem teicu to sapni, bet tie man to neizstāstīja,
8 Till at the last Daniel came before mee, (whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, which hath the spirite of the holy gods in him) and before him I tolde the dreame, saying,
Tiekams pēdīgi manā priekšā nāca Daniēls, ko sauc par Beltsacaru pēc mana dieva vārda un iekš kā ir to svēto dievu gars, un es tam teicu to sapni:
9 O Belteshazzar, chiefe of the enchanters, because I know, that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell mee the visions of my dreame, that I haue seene and the interpretation thereof.
Beltsacar, gudro virsniek, par ko es zinu, ka svēto dievu gars ir iekš tevis, un nekāds noslēpums tev nav grūts, tad saki nu mana sapņa parādīšanu, ko es esmu redzējis, un viņa izstāstīšanu.
10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed. And beholde, I sawe a tree in the middes of the earth and the height thereof was great:
Bet tas ir, kas manam prātam rādījās uz manas gultas. Es skatījos, un redzi, viens koks bija zemes vidū, un tas bija ļoti augsts.
11 A great tree and strong, and the height thereof reached vnto heauen, and the sight thereof to the endes of all the earth.
Tas koks bija liels un resns, un viņa augstums sniedzās līdz debesīm, un tas bija redzams līdz pasaules galam.
12 The boughes thereof were faire and the fruite thereof much, and in it was meate for all: it made a shadow vnder it for the beastes of the fielde, and the foules of the heauen dwelt in the boughes thereof, and all flesh fedde of it.
Viņa zari bija skaisti, un viņa augļi bagāti, un barība tam bija priekš visiem; zemes zvēri apakš viņa atrada pavēni, un putni apakš debess dzīvoja uz viņa zariem, un visa miesa no tā barojās.
13 I sawe in the visions of mine head vpon my bed, and beholde, a watchman and an holy one came downe from heauen,
Un es redzēju savas galvas parādīšanā uz savas gultas, un raugi, svēts sargs nonāca no debesīm.
14 And cried aloude, and said thus, Hew downe the tree, and breake off his branches: shake off his leaues, and scatter his fruite, that the beastes may flee from vnder it, and the foules from his branches.
Tas sauca ar spēku un sacīja tā: nocērtiet to koku un apcērtiet viņa zarus un noplūciet viņa lapas un izkaisiet viņa augļus, lai zvēri apakš viņa aizbēg un putni no viņa zariem aizskrien.
15 Neuerthelesse leaue the stumpe of his rootes in the earth, and with a band of yron and brasse binde it among the grasse of the fielde, and let it be wet with the dewe of heauen, and let his portion be with the beastes among the grasse of the fielde.
Bet to celmu ar saknēm atstājiet zemē, bet vara un dzelzs pinekļos, lauka zālē, lai viņš no debess rasas top slacināts, un viņa daļa lai ir kā lopiem zāle laukā.
16 Let his heart be changed from mans nature, and let a beasts heart be giuen vnto him, and let seuen times be passed ouer him.
Viņa sirds lai top pārvērsta, ka vairs nav cilvēka sirds, un lopa sirds lai viņam top dota, kamēr septiņi laiki paiet pār viņu.
17 The sentence is according to the decree of the watchmen, and according to the word of the holy ones: the demaunde was answered, to the intent that liuing men may knowe, that the most High hath power ouer the kingdome of men, and giueth it to whomsoeuer he will, and appointeth ouer it the most abiect among men.
Tas ir to sargu padoms, kas top sludināts, to svēto spriedums ir tā lieta; lai, kas dzīvo, atzīst, ka tam Visuvaldītājam vara ir pār cilvēku valstību, un viņš to dod, kam gribēdams, un pār to ieceļ to zemāko starp cilvēkiem.
18 This is the dreame, that I King Nebuchad-nezzar haue seene: therefore thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof: for all the wisemen of my kingdome are not able to shewe mee the interpretation: but thou art able, for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
Šo sapni es, ķēniņš Nebukadnecars, esmu redzējis. Tu tad, Beltsacar, izstāsti to, tādēļ ka visi manas valsts gudrie man to nevar izstāstīt, bet tu to gan māki, tāpēc ka svēto dievu gars ir iekš tevis.
19 Then Daniel (whose name was Belteshazzar) held his peace by the space of one houre, and his thoughts troubled him, and the King spake and said, Belteshazzar, let neither the dreame, nor the interpretation thereof trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and saide, My lord, the dreame be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.
Tad Daniēls, kam Beltsacars vārdā, iztrūcinājās vienu stundu, un viņa domas viņu izbiedēja. Tad ķēniņš iesāka un sacīja: Beltsacar, lai tas sapnis un viņa izstāstīšana tevi neizbiedē. Beltsacars atbildēja un sacīja: mans kungs, šis sapnis lai notiek taviem ienaidniekiem un viņa izstāstīšana taviem pretiniekiem!
20 The tree that thou sawest, which was great and mightie, whose height reached vnto the heauen, and the sight thereof through all the world,
Tas koks, ko tu esi redzējis tik lielu un resnu, un kura augstums sniedzās līdz debesīm, un kas bija redzams pa visu pasauli,
21 Whose leaues were faire and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meate for all, vnder the which the beastes of the fielde dwelt, and vpon whose branches the foules of the heauen did sit,
Un kura zari skaisti, un kam bija daudz augļu, un kur barība bija priekš visiem, apakš tā lauka zvēri dzīvoja, un kura zaros putni apakš debess ligzdas taisīja, -
22 It is thou, O King, that art great and mightie: for thy greatnesse is growen, and reacheth vnto heauen, and thy dominion to the endes of the earth.
Tas tu esi, ķēniņ, kas palicis liels un stiprs, jo tava augstība ir tā augusi, ka tā sniedzās līdz debesīm, un tava valstība iet līdz pasaules galam.
23 Where as the King sawe a watchman, and an holy one, that came downe from heauen, and said, Hew downe the tree and destroy it, yet leaue the stumpe of the rootes thereof in the earth, and with a bande of yron and brasse binde it among the grasse of the fielde, and let it be wette with the dewe of heauen, and let his portion be with the beastes of the fielde, till seuen times passe ouer him,
Ka nu ķēniņš vienu sargu, vienu svētu, redzējis no debesīm nākam un sakām: nocērtiet to koku un samaitājiet viņu, bet atstājiet to celmu ar saknēm zemē, bet vara un dzelzs pinekļos laukā zālē, ka viņš no debess rasas top slacināts, un viņa daļa lai ir ar lopiem uz lauka, tiekams septiņi laiki pār viņu paiet; -
24 This is the interpretation, O King, and it is the decree of the most High, which is come vpon my lord the King,
Šī ir tā izstāstīšana, kungs ķēniņ, un šis ir tā Visuaugstākā padoms, kas nāks pār manu kungu, ķēniņu:
25 That they shall driue thee from men, and thy dwelling shalbe with the beasts of the fielde: they shall make thee to eate grasse as the oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dewe of heauen: and seuen times shall passe ouer thee, till thou knowe, that the most High beareth rule ouer the kingdome of men, and giueth it to whom so euer he will.
Tu tapsi izstumts no cilvēkiem un dzīvosi pie lopiem laukā, un tev dos ēst zāli kā vēršiem, un debess rasa tevi slacinās, un septiņi laiki paies pār tevi, tiekams tu atzīsti, ka tam Visuaugstākam vara ir pār cilvēku valstīm, tās dot, kam Viņš grib.
26 Where as they sayd, that one should leaue the stumpe of the tree rootes, thy kingdome shall remaine vnto thee: after that, thou shalt knowe, that the heauens haue the rule.
Bet kā ir sacīts, lai to celmu ar tā koka saknēm atstāj zemē: tava valsts tev pastāvēs, kad būsi atzinis, ka tas debesu Dievs valda.
27 Wherefore, O King, let my counsell be acceptable vnto thee, and breake off thy sinnes by righteousnes, and thine iniquities by mercy toward the poore: lo, let there be an healing of thine errour.
Tādēļ, kungs ķēniņ, lai tev mans padoms patīk, un atsvabinājies no saviem grēkiem caur taisnību un no saviem noziegumiem caur žēlastību pret nabagiem, redzi, vai varbūt tava labklāšanās nepastavēs vēl ilgāki. -
28 All these things shall come vpon the King Nebuchad-nezzar.
Tas viss uzgāja ķēniņam Nebukadnecaram.
29 At the end of twelue moneths, he walked in the royall palace of Babel.
Jo pēc divpadsmit mēnešiem, kad Viņš staigāja ķēniņa pilī Bābelē,
30 And the King spake and sayde, Is not this great Babel, that I haue built for the house of the kingdome by the might of my power, and for the honour of my maiestie?
Tad viņš, tas ķēniņš, runāja un sacīja: vai šī nav tā lielā Bābele, ko es esmu uztaisījis ķēniņam par mājokli caur savas varas stiprumu un par savas augstības godību?
31 While the worde was in the Kings mouth, a voyce came downe from heauen, saying, O King Nebuchad-nezzar, to thee be it spoken, Thy kingdome is departed from thee,
Šis vārds vēl bija ķēniņa mutē, tad balss no debesīm krita: tev, ķēniņ Nebukadnecar, top sacīts: tava valdība no tevis ir atņemta,
32 And they shall driue thee from men, and thy dwelling shalbe with the beastes of the fielde: they shall make thee to eate grasse, as the oxen, and seuen times shall passe ouer thee, vntill thou knowest, that the most High beareth rule ouer the kingdome of men, and giueth it vnto whomsoeuer he will.
Un tu no cilvēkiem tapsi izstumts un tava dzīve būs pie lopiem laukā, tev dos zāli ēst kā vēršiem, un tā paies septiņi laiki, tiekams tu atzīsti, ka tam Visuaugstākam vara ir pār cilvēku valstīm, un viņš tās dod kam gribēdams.
33 The very same houre was this thing fulfilled vpon Nebuchad-nezzar, and hee was driuen from men, and did eate grasse as the oxen, and his body was wet with the dewe of heauen, till his heares were growen as eagles feathers, and his nailes like birds clawes.
Tai pašā stundā šis vārds notika par Nebukadnecaru, un viņš no cilvēkiem tapa izstumts un ēda zāli kā vērši, un viņa miesas no debess rasas tapa slacinātas, tiekams viņa mati auga kā ērgļu spalvas un viņa nagi kā putnu nagi.
34 And at the ende of these dayes I Nebuchad-nezzar lift vp mine eyes vnto heauen, and mine vnderstanding was restored vnto me, and I gaue thankes vnto the most High, and I praysed and honoured him that liueth for euer, whose power is an euerlasting power, and his kingdome is from generation to generation.
Un pēc šā laika es, Nebukadnecars, pacēlu savas acis pret debesīm, jo mana saprašana man nāca atpakaļ, un es teicu to Visuaugstāko un slavēju un pagodināju to, kas dzīvo mūžīgi, tāpēc ka Viņa valdība ir mūžīga valdība, un Viņa valstība paliek līdz radu radiem.
35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and according to his will he worketh in the armie of heauen, and in the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, nor say vnto him, What doest thou?
Un visi zemes iedzīvotāji ir tā kā nekas, un Viņš dara pēc sava prāta ar debesu spēku un ar zemes iedzīvotājiem, un neviena nav, kas Viņa roku varētu aizturēt, vai uz Viņu sacīt: ko Tu dari?
36 At the same time was mine vnderstanding restored vnto me, and I returned to the honour of my kingdome: my glory and my beautie was restored vnto me, and my counsellours and my princes sought vnto me, and I was established in my kingdome, and my glory was augmented toward me.
Tanī laikā mans prāts man nāca atpakaļ ir mana valsts godība, mana augstība un mans spožums man nāca atpakaļ un mani runas kungi un varenie mani meklēja un es atkal tapu iecelts savā valstībā, un dabūju vēl lielāku godību.
37 Now therefore I Nebuchad-nezzar prayse and extoll and magnifie the King of heauen, whose workes are all trueth, and his wayes iudgement, and those that walke in pride, he is able to abase.
Nu es, Nebukadnecars, slavēju un paaugstināju un pagodināju to debesu Ķēniņu, jo visi Viņa darbi ir patiesība un Viņa ceļi taisnība, Viņš ir varens, tos pazemot, kas lepnībā staigā.
