Colossians 3
1 If yee then bee risen with Christ, seeke those thinges which are aboue, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God.
௧நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுடன்கூட எழுந்ததுண்டானால், கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இடத்திலுள்ள மேலானவைகளைத் தேடுங்கள்.
2 Set your affections on things which are aboue, and not on things which are on the earth.
௨பூமியிலுள்ளவைகளை இல்லை, மேலானவைகளையே விரும்புங்கள்.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
௩ஏனென்றால், நீங்கள் மரித்தீர்கள், உங்களுடைய ஜீவன் கிறிஸ்துவோடு தேவனுக்குள் மறைந்திருக்கிறது.
4 When Christ which is our life, shall appeare, then shall ye also appeare with him in glory.
௪நம்முடைய ஜீவனாகிய கிறிஸ்து வெளிப்படும்போது, நீங்களும் அவரோடுகூட மகிமையிலே வெளிப்படுவீர்கள்.
5 Mortifie therefore your members which are on the earth, fornication, vncleannes, the inordinate affection, euill concupiscence, and couetousnes which is idolatrie.
௫ஆகவே, விபசாரம், அசுத்தம், மோகம், தீய எண்ணம், விக்கிரக ஆராதனையான பொருளாசை ஆகிய இந்த உலகத்திற்குரிய பாவ சுபாவத்தை அழித்துப்போடுங்கள்.
6 For the which things sake ye wrath of God commeth on the children of disobedience.
௬இவைகளினாலேயே கீழ்ப்படியாமையின் பிள்ளைகள்மேல் தேவனுடைய கோபம் வரும்.
7 Wherein ye also walked once, when ye liued in them.
௭நீங்களும் முற்காலத்தில் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே வாழ்ந்தபோது, அவைகளைச் செய்துகொண்டுவந்தீர்கள்.
8 But now put ye away euen all these things, wrath, anger, maliciousnes, cursed speaking, filthie speaking, out of your mouth.
௮இப்பொழுதோ கோபமும் மூர்க்கமும் பொறாமையும், உங்களுடைய வாயிலிருந்து வரக்கூடாத நிந்தனையும், வம்புவார்த்தைகளுமாகிய இவைகளையெல்லாம் விட்டுவிடுங்கள்.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that yee haue put off the olde man with his workes,
௯ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பொய் சொல்லாதிருங்கள்; பழைய மனிதனையும் அவன் செய்கைகளையும் களைந்துபோட்டு,
10 And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,
௧0தன்னைப் படைத்தவருடைய சாயலுக்கு ஒப்பாக பூரண அறிவடையும்படி புதிதாக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனிதனை அணிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறீர்களே.
11 Where is neither Grecian nor Iewe, circumcision nor vncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond, free: But Christ is all, and in all things.
௧௧அதிலே கிரேக்கனென்றும் யூதனென்றுமில்லை, விருத்தசேதனம் உள்ளவனென்றும், விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவனென்றுமில்லை, யூதனல்லாதவனென்றும் வெளிதேசத்தானென்றுமில்லை, அடிமையென்றும் சுதந்திரமானவனென்றுமில்லை; கிறிஸ்துவே எல்லோரிலும் எல்லாமுமாக இருக்கிறார்.
12 Now therfore as the elect of God holy and beloued, put on the bowels of mercies, kindnesse, humblenesse of minde, meekenesse, long suffering:
௧௨ஆகவே, நீங்கள் தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட பரிசுத்தரும் பிரியருமாக, உருக்கமான இரக்கத்தையும், தயவையும், மனத்தாழ்மையையும், அமைதியையும், நீடிய பொறுமையையும் அணிந்துகொண்டு;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiuing one another, if any man haue a quarel to another: euen as Christ forgaue, euen so doe ye.
௧௩ஒருவரையொருவர் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, ஒருவர்பேரில் ஒருவருக்குக் குறைபாடு உண்டானால், கிறிஸ்து உங்களுக்கு மன்னித்ததுபோல, ஒருவருக்கொருவர் மன்னியுங்கள்.
14 And aboue all these thinges put on loue, which is the bond of perfectnes.
௧௪இவை எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும், பூரண நற்குணத்தின் கட்டாகிய அன்பை அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye are called in one body, and be ye thankfull.
௧௫தேவசமாதானம் உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் ஆளக்கடவது, இதற்கென்றே நீங்கள் ஒரே சரீரமாக அழைக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாகவும் இருங்கள்.
16 Let the worde of Christ dwell in you plenteously in all wisdome, teaching and admonishing your owne selues, in Psalmes, and hymnes, and spirituall songs, singing with a grace in your hearts to the Lord.
௧௬கிறிஸ்துவின் வசனம் உங்களுக்குள்ளே எல்லா ஞானத்தோடும் பரிபூரணமாக குடியிருப்பதாக; பாடல்களினாலும் கீர்த்தனைகளினாலும் ஞானப்பாட்டுகளினாலும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் போதித்து புத்திசொல்லிக்கொண்டு, உங்களுடைய இருதயத்திலே கர்த்த்தரைப் பக்தியுடன் பாடி;
17 And whatsoeuer ye shall doe, in worde or deede, doe all in the Name of the Lord Iesus, giuing thankes to God euen the Father by him.
௧௭வார்த்தையினாலாவது செயல்களினாலாவது, நீங்கள் எதைச்செய்தாலும், அதையெல்லாம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே செய்து, அவர் மூலமாகப் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள்.
18 Wiues, submit your selues vnto your husbands, as it is comely in the Lord.
௧௮மனைவிகளே, கர்த்தருக்கேற்கும்படி உங்களுடைய கணவர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள்.
19 Husbands, loue your wiues, and be not bitter vnto them.
௧௯கணவன்மார்களே, உங்களுடைய மனைவிகளில் அன்பு செலுத்துங்கள், அவர்கள்மேல் கசந்துகொள்ளாதிருங்கள்.
20 Children, obey your parents in all thing for that is well pleasing vnto the Lord.
௨0பிள்ளைகளே, உங்களுடைய பெற்றோருக்கு எல்லாக் காரியத்திலேயும் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள்; இது கர்த்தருக்கு விருப்பமானது.
21 Fathers, prouoke not your children to anger, least they be discouraged.
௨௧பிதாக்களே, உங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகள் மனம் தளர்ந்துபோகாதபடி, அவர்களை கோபமூட்டாமலிருங்கள்.
22 Seruants, be obedient vnto them that are your masters according to the flesh, in all things, not with eye seruice as men pleasers, but in singlenes of heart, fearing God.
௨௨வேலைக்காரர்களே, சரீரத்தின்படி உங்களுடைய எஜமான்களாக இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு எல்லாக் காரியத்திலேயும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, நீங்கள் மனிதர்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்த விரும்புகிறவர்களாகப் பார்வைக்கு பணிவிடைசெய்யாமல், தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களாகக் கபடமில்லாத இருதயத்தோடு பணிவிடைசெய்யுங்கள்.
23 And whatsoeuer ye doe, doe it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men,
௨௩நீங்கள் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்துவைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறதினாலே, உரிமைப்பங்கின் பலனைக் கர்த்தராலே பெறுவீர்களென்று அறிந்து,
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receiue the reward of the inheritance: for ye serue the Lord Christ.
௨௪எதைச்செய்தாலும், அதை மனிதர்களுக்கென்று செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்கென்றே மனப்பூர்வமாகச் செய்யுங்கள்.
25 But he that doeth wrong, shall receiue for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
௨௫அநியாயம் செய்கிறவன் தான் செய்த அநியாயத்திற்குரிய பலனை அடைவான்; பட்சபாதமே இல்லை.
