< Colossians 1 >

1 Paul an Apostle of Iesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,
Nĩ niĩ Paũlũ, mũtũmwo wa Kristũ Jesũ nĩ ũndũ wa wendo wa Ngai, tũrĩ hamwe na Timotheo mũrũ wa Ithe witũ,
2 To them which are at Colosse, Saintes and faithfull brethren in Christ: Grace bee with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
Tũramũtũmĩra marũa maya inyuĩ andũ arĩa aamũre, o inyuĩ ariũ na aarĩ a Ithe witũ mũtũire mũrĩ ehokeku thĩinĩ wa Kristũ kũu Kolosai: Mũrogĩa na wega na thayũ ciumĩte kũrĩ Ngai Ithe witũ.
3 We giue thankes to God euen ye Father of our Lord Iesus Christ, alway praying for you:
Hĩndĩ ciothe rĩrĩa tũkũmũhoera, nĩtũcookagĩria Ngai ngaatho, o we Ithe wa Mwathani witũ Jesũ Kristũ,
4 Since wee heard of your faith in Christ Iesus, and of your loue toward all Saintes,
tondũ nĩtũiguĩte ũhoro wa ũrĩa mwĩtĩkĩtie Kristũ Jesũ, o na ũrĩa mwendete andũ arĩa othe aamũre,
5 For the hopes sake, which is laide vp for you in heauen, whereof yee haue heard before by the word of trueth, which is the Gospel,
naguo nĩ wĩtĩkio na wendani iria ciumanaga na kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro kĩrĩa mũigĩirwo kũu igũrũ na kĩrĩa mũrĩkĩtie kũigua ũhoro wakĩo thĩinĩ wa ũhoro ũrĩa wa ma, na nĩguo Ũhoro-ũrĩa-Mwega
6 Which is come vnto you, eue as it is vnto al the world, and is fruitful, as it is also amog you, from ye day that ye heard and truely knew ye grace of God,
ũrĩa ũmũkinyĩire. Kũndũ guothe gũkũ thĩ Ũhoro-ũyũ-Mwega nĩũraciara maciaro na nĩũratheerema, o ta ũrĩa ũkoretwo ũgĩĩka gatagatĩ-inĩ kanyu kuuma mũthenya ũrĩa mwaũiguire na mũkĩmenya wega wa Ngai na ma.
7 As yee also learned of Epaphras our deare fellowe seruaunt, which is for you a faithfull minister of Christ:
Mwamenyire ũhoro ũcio kuuma kũrĩ Epafara, ũrĩa twendete, na mũruti wĩra hamwe na ithuĩ o we mũtungatĩri wa Kristũ wa kwĩhokeka ithenya riitũ,
8 Who hath also declared vnto vs your loue in the Spirit.
na nowe ũtũheete ũhoro wa ũrĩa mwendaine mũrĩ thĩinĩ wa Roho.
9 For this cause wee also, since the day wee heard of it, cease not to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be fulfilled with knowledge of his will in all wisdome, and spirituall vnderstanding,
Nĩ ũndũ wa ũguo-rĩ, kuuma mũthenya ũrĩa twaiguire ũhoro ũcio wanyu, tũtirĩ twatigithĩria kũmũhoera, tũgĩthaithaga Ngai amũiyũrie ũmenyo wa wendi wake, na amũheage ũũgĩ na ũtaũku wothe maũndũ-inĩ mothe ma kĩĩroho.
10 That ye might walke worthy of the Lord, and please him in all things, being fruitefull in all good workes, and increasing in the knowledge of God,
Na tũhooyaga ũguo nĩguo mũhote gũtũũra mũtũũrĩre ũringaine na ũrĩa Mwathani endaga na mũmũkenagie maũndũ-inĩ mothe: mũciarage maciaro mawĩra-inĩ mothe mega marĩa mũrutaga, na mũkũrage thĩinĩ wa ũmenyi wa kũmenyana na Ngai,
11 Strengthened with all might through his glorious power, vnto all patience, and long suffering with ioyfulnesse,
mũgĩĩkagĩrwo hinya na ũhoti wothe kũringana na hinya wake ũrĩ na riiri nĩgeetha mũhote gũkiragĩrĩria mũno mũtegũthethũka na mũrĩ na gĩkeno,
12 Giuing thankes vnto the Father, which hath made vs meete to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saintes in light,
na mũgĩcookagĩria Ithe witũ ngaatho, ũrĩa ũmũtuĩte aagĩrĩru a kũgaya igai rĩa arĩa aamũre ũthamaki-inĩ wa ũtheri.
13 Who hath deliuered vs from the power of darkenesse, and hath translated vs into the kingdome of his deare Sonne,
Nĩgũkorwo Ngai nĩatũhonoketie, agatũruta ũthamaki-inĩ wa nduma, na agatũthaamĩria ũthamaki-inĩ wa Mũriũ ũrĩa endete mũno,
14 In whome we haue redemption through his blood, that is, the forgiuenesse of sinnes,
thĩinĩ wake-rĩ, nĩtũkũũrĩtwo na tũkarekerwo mehia maitũ.
15 Who is the image of the inuisible God, the first begotten of euery creature.
Ũcio nĩwe mũhianĩre wa Ngai ũrĩa ũtonekaga, na nĩwe irigithathi harĩ indo ciothe iria ciombirwo.
16 For by him were all things created, which are in heauen, and which are in earth, thinges visible and inuisible: whether they be Thrones or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers, all things were created by him, and for him,
Nĩgũkorwo nĩwe wombire indo ciothe: indo iria irĩ igũrũ na iria irĩ thĩ, iria cionekaga na iria itonekaga, o na angĩkorwo nĩ itĩ cia ũnene kana maahinya, kana aathani o na kana arĩa marĩ ũhoti; indo ciothe ciombirwo nĩwe na nĩguo ituĩke ciake.
17 And hee is before all things, and in him all things consist.
Kristũ nĩwe warĩ kuo mbere ya indo ciothe, nacio indo ciothe itũũraga inyiitithanĩtio nĩwe.
18 And hee is the head of the body of the Church: he is the beginning, and the first begotten of the dead, that in all thinges hee might haue the preeminence.
Ningĩ nĩwe mũtwe wa mwĩrĩ, arĩ guo kanitha; na nĩwe kĩambĩrĩria na irigithathi harĩ andũ arĩa manariũka, nĩgeetha thĩinĩ wa maũndũ mothe atuĩke nĩwe mũtũũgĩrie kũrĩ indo ciothe.
19 For it pleased the Father, that in him should all fulnesse dwell,
Nĩgũkorwo Ngai nĩoonire arĩ wega atĩ ũiyũru wa Ngai wothe ũikare thĩinĩ wake,
20 And through peace made by that blood of that his crosse, to reconcile to himselfe through him, through him, I say, all thinges, both which are in earth, and which are in heauen.
na nĩ ũndũ wa Kristũ indo ciothe ituĩke cia kũiguithanio na Ngai, iria irĩ thĩ o na kana iria irĩ igũrũ, nĩ ũndũ wa ũrĩa aarehire thayũ na ũndũ wa thakame yake, ĩrĩa yaitirwo mũtharaba-inĩ.
21 And you which were in times past strangers and enemies, because your mindes were set in euill workes, hath he nowe also reconciled,
Hĩndĩ ĩmwe inyuĩ mwatũire mwamũranĩtio na Ngai na mwarĩ thũ ciake meciiria-inĩ manyu nĩ ũndũ wa mĩtugo yanyu mĩũru.
22 In that body of his flesh through death, to make you holy, and vnblameable and without fault in his sight,
No rĩu nĩamũiguithanĩtie na Kristũ na ũndũ wa ũrĩa aakuire arĩ na mwĩrĩ nĩgeetha amũrũgamie mbere yake mũrĩ atheru, na mũtarĩ na ũũgũ, o na mũtarĩ na ũcuuke,
23 If ye continue, grounded and stablished in the faith, and be not moued away from the hope of the Gospel, whereof ye haue heard, and which hath bene preached to euery creature which is vnder heauen, whereof I Paul am a minister.
mũngĩthiĩ na mbere na gwĩtĩkia mwĩhaandĩte na mũrĩ arũmu, na mũtekwenyenyeka kuuma kũrĩ kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro kĩrĩa kĩnyiitĩrĩirwo nĩ Ũhoro-ũrĩa-Mwega. Ũhoro ũcio nĩguo Ũhoro-ũrĩa-Mwega ũrĩa mwaiguire, na ũrĩa ũhunjĩtio kũrĩ ciũmbe ciothe cia gũkũ thĩ, na nĩguo niĩ Paũlũ nduĩkĩte ndungata yaguo.
24 Now reioyce I in my suffrings for you, and fulfill the rest of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, for his bodies sake, which is the Church,
Na rĩu nĩngenete nĩ ũndũ wa maũndũ marĩa thĩĩnĩtio namo nĩ ũndũ wanyu, na ngaiyũrĩrĩria thĩinĩ wa mwĩrĩ wakwa kĩrĩa gĩtigaire ũhoro-inĩ wa kũnyamario gwa Kristũ, ngamaiyũrĩrĩria nĩ ũndũ wa mwĩrĩ wake, na nĩguo kanitha.
25 Whereof I am a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which is giuen mee vnto you ward, to fulfill the word of God,
Na niĩ ndaatuirwo ndungata yaguo na ũndũ wa gũtũmwo nĩ Ngai ndĩmũrehere ũhoro wa Ngai mũũmenye kũna,
26 Which is the mysterie hid since the world began, and from all ages, but nowe is made manifest to his Saintes, (aiōn g165)
na nĩ guo hitho ĩrĩa ĩtũire ĩrĩ hithe kuuma o tene, njiarwa na njiarwa, no rĩu nĩũguũrĩirio arĩa aamũre. (aiōn g165)
27 To whome God woulde make knowen what is the riches of his glorious mysterie among the Gentiles, which riches is Christ in you, the hope of glory,
O acio nĩo Ngai oonire arĩ wega kũmenyithia hitho ya ũtonga ũrĩa ũrĩ riiri kũrĩ andũ-a-Ndũrĩrĩ, nayo hitho ĩyo nĩ atĩ Kristũ arĩ thĩinĩ wanyu, o we kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro gĩa gũkaagĩa na riiri.
28 Whome we preache, admonishing euery man, and teaching euery man in all wisdome, that we may present euery man perfect in Christ Iesus,
Ũcio nĩwe tũhunjagia, tũgĩtaaranaga na tũkĩrutaga o mũndũ wothe tũrĩ na ũũgĩ wothe, nĩgeetha tũkarũgamia o mũndũ wothe aagĩrĩire kũna thĩinĩ wa Kristũ.
29 Whereunto I also labour and striue, according to his working which worketh in me mightily.
Nĩ ũndũ wa gĩtũmi kĩu nĩndĩĩnogagia, ngĩĩgiaga kũringana na hinya wake wothe, ũrĩa ũrutaga wĩra na hinya thĩinĩ wakwa.
