Amos 7
1 Thus hath the Lord God shewed vnto mee, and beholde, he formed grashoppers in the beginning of ye shooting vp of the latter grouth: and loe, it was in the latter grouth after the Kings mowing.
Kastoy ti impakita ni Yahweh kaniak. Pagammoan, nangpataud isuna iti pinangen a dudon idi mangrugi nga agrusing dagiti mula, ket pagammoan, daytoy ti nabatbati a mula kalpasan a naapiten ti bingay ti ari.
2 And when they had made an ende of eating the grasse of the land, then I saide, O Lord God, spare, I beseeche thee: who shall raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.
Kalpasan nga inibus dagiti dudon dagiti mula iti daga, kinunak, “Apo a Yahweh, pangaasim ta mamakawanka; kasano a makalasat ni Jacob? Ket nagbassit unay isuna.”
3 So the Lord repented for this. It shall not be, saith the Lord.
Imbabawi ni Yahweh ti maipapan iti daytoy. “Saanto a mapasamak daytoy,” kinunana.
4 Thus also hath the Lord God shewed vnto me, and behold, the Lord God called to iudgement by fire, and it deuoured the great deepe, and did eate vp a part.
Kastoy ti impakita ni Yahweh nga Apo kaniak: Pagammoan, nangayab ti Apo a ni Yahweh iti apuy tapno mangukom. Minagaan daytoy ti nalawa ken nauneg a danum nga adda iti uneg ti daga ken manguram pay koma iti daga.
5 Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseeche thee: who shall raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.
Ngem kinunak, “Apo a Yahweh, pangaasim ta saanmo nga aramiden dayta; kasano a makalasat ni Jacob? Ket nagbassit unay isuna.”
6 So the Lord repented for this. This also shall not be, saith the Lord God.
Imbabawi ni Yahweh ti maipanggep iti daytoy, “Uray daytoy ket saanto a mapasamak,” kinuna ni Yahweh nga Apo.
7 Thus againe he shewed me, and behold, the Lord stoode vpon a wall made by line with a line in his hand.
Kastoy ti impakitana kaniak: Pagammoan, nagtakder ti Apo iti abay ti pader, nga adda iggemna a tinnag.
8 And the Lord saide vnto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A line. Then said the Lord, Beholde, I wil set a line in the middes of my people Israel, and wil passe by them no more.
Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Amos, ania ti makitkitam?” Kinunak, “Maysa a tinnag.” Ket kinuna ti Apo, “Agikabillakto iti tinnag kadagiti tattaok nga Israel. Saankonto ida nga ispalenen.
9 And the hye places of Izhak shalbe desolate, and the temples of Israel shalbe destroyed: and I wil rise against the house of Ieroboam with the sworde.
Madadaelto dagiti nangangato a disso ni Isaac, madadaelto dagiti nasantoan a disso ti Israel, ket tumakderakto nga addaan iti kampilan maibusor iti balay ni Jeroboam.
10 Then Amaziah the Priest of Beth-el sent to Ieroboam King of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the middes of the house of Israel: the lande is not able to beare all his wordes.
Kalpasana, nangipatulod ni Amasias a padi ti Betel iti maysa a mensahe kenni Jeroboam nga ari ti Israel: “Nagpanggep ni Amos maibusor kenka iti tengnga ti balay ti Israel. Saan a maibturan ti daga ti amin a saona.
11 For thus Amos saith, Ieroboam shall die by the sworde, and Israel shalbe led away captiue out of their owne land.
Ta kastoy ti imbaga ni Amos: 'Matayto ni Jeroboam babaen iti kampilan ken awan duadua a maitalawto a kas balud ti Israel iti lugar nga adayo iti dagana.”
12 Also Amaziah sayde vnto Amos, O thou the Seer, goe, flee thou away into the land of Iudah, and there eate thy bread and prophecie there.
Kinuna ni Amasias kenni Amos, “Profeta, pumanawka, agsublika idiay daga ti Juda, ket manganka sadiay iti tinapay ken agipadtoka sadiay.
13 But prophecie no more at Beth-el: for it is the Kings chappel, and it is the Kings court.
Ngem saankan nga agipadto ditoy Betel gapu ta daytoy ket santuario ti ari ken balayna.”
14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no Prophet, neither was I a prophets sonne, but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of wilde figs.
Ket kinuna ni Amos kenni Amasias, “Saanak a profeta wenno putot iti maysa a profeta. Agpaspastorak iti arban ken agay-aywanak kadagiti kayo a sikamoro.
15 And the Lord tooke me as I followed the flocke, and the Lord said vnto me, Go, prophecie vnto my people Israel.
Ngem innalanak ni Yahweh iti panagpaspastorko iti arban ket kinunana kaniak, 'Mapanka agipadto kadagiti tattaok nga Israelita.'
16 Now therefore heare thou the word of the Lord. Thou sayest, Prophecie not against Israel, and speake nothing against the house of Izhak.
Ita denggem ti sao ni Yahweh. Ibagbagam, 'Saanka nga agipadto maibusor iti Israel, ken saanka nga agsao maibusor iti balay ni Isaac.'
17 Therefore thus sayth the Lord, Thy wife shall be an harlot in the citie, and thy sonnes and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be deuided by line: and thou shalt die in a polluted land, and Israel shall surely go into captiuitie forth of his land.
Ngarud, kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: 'Agbalinto a balangkantis iti siudad ti asawam; matayto dagiti putotmo a babbai ken lallaki babaen iti kampilan; marukod ken mabingay-bingayto ti dagam; mataykanto iti narugit a daga, ken awan duadua a maitalawto a kas balud ti Israel manipud iti dagana.”
