Amos 7
1 Thus hath the Lord God shewed vnto mee, and beholde, he formed grashoppers in the beginning of ye shooting vp of the latter grouth: and loe, it was in the latter grouth after the Kings mowing.
Mao kini ang gipakita sa Ginoong Jehova kanako; ug, ania karon, gihimo niya ang mga panon sa dulon sa misugod pagtubo ang naulahing pagpanurok; ug, ania karon, mao kadto ang ulahing pagpanurok sa human ang mga pagpanggalab sa hari.
2 And when they had made an ende of eating the grasse of the land, then I saide, O Lord God, spare, I beseeche thee: who shall raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.
Ug nahitabo, sa diha nga sila nakatapus na sa pagpangaon sa mga balili sa yuta, unya ako miingon: Oh Ginoong Jehova, pasayloa, nagapakilooy ako kanimo; unsaon pagtindog ni Jacob? kay siya nagamay man.
3 So the Lord repented for this. It shall not be, saith the Lord.
Si Jehova nagbasul mahitungod niini: Dili kini mahitabo, nagaingon si Jehova.
4 Thus also hath the Lord God shewed vnto me, and behold, the Lord God called to iudgement by fire, and it deuoured the great deepe, and did eate vp a part.
Mao kini ang gipakita kanako sa Ginoong Jehova: ug, ania karon, ang Ginoong Jehova nagtawag sa pagpakig-away pinaagi sa kalayo; ug kini naglamoy sa dakung kahiladman, ug lamyon unta ang yuta.
5 Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseeche thee: who shall raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.
Unya miingon ako: Oh Ginoong Jehova, hunong una, nagapakilooy ako kanimo: unsaon pagpakatindog ni Jacob? kay siya nagamay man.
6 So the Lord repented for this. This also shall not be, saith the Lord God.
Si Jehova nagbasul mahitungod niini: Kini usab dili mahitabo, miingon ang Ginoong Jehova.
7 Thus againe he shewed me, and behold, the Lord stoode vpon a wall made by line with a line in his hand.
Mao kini ang iyang gipakita kanako: ug, ania karon, ang Ginoo mitindog tupad sa usa ka kuta nga binuhat pinaagi sa usa ka tunton, ug nagabitibit siya sa usa ka tunton.
8 And the Lord saide vnto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A line. Then said the Lord, Beholde, I wil set a line in the middes of my people Israel, and wil passe by them no more.
Ug si Jehova miingon kanako: Amos, unsay nakita mo? Ug ako miingon: Usa ka tunton. Unya miingon ang Ginoo: ania karon, ako magapahamutang usa ka tunton sa taliwala sa akong katawohan nga Israel; ako dili na gayud moagi kanila pag-usab;
9 And the hye places of Izhak shalbe desolate, and the temples of Israel shalbe destroyed: and I wil rise against the house of Ieroboam with the sworde.
Ug ang hatag-as nga mga dapit ni Isaac mahimong kamingawan, ug ang mga balaang puloy-anan sa Israel pagawagtangon; ug ako motindog batok sa balay ni Jeroboam uban ang usa ka espada.
10 Then Amaziah the Priest of Beth-el sent to Ieroboam King of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the middes of the house of Israel: the lande is not able to beare all his wordes.
Unya si Amasias, ang sacerdote sa Beth-el nagpadala usa ka sinugo kang Jeroboam, hari sa Israel, nga nagaingon: Si Amos nakigsabut batok kanimo sa taliwala sa balay sa Israel: ang yuta dili makahimo sa pagdala sa tanan niyang mga pulong.
11 For thus Amos saith, Ieroboam shall die by the sworde, and Israel shalbe led away captiue out of their owne land.
Kay mao kini ang giingon ni Amos: Si Jeroboam mamatay pinaagi sa espada, ug ang Israel sa pagkatinuod pagabihagon ngadto sa gawas sa iyang yuta.
12 Also Amaziah sayde vnto Amos, O thou the Seer, goe, flee thou away into the land of Iudah, and there eate thy bread and prophecie there.
Ingon man usab si Amasias miingon kang Amos: Oh ikaw nga Manalagna, lumakaw ka, kalagiw ngadto sa yuta sa Juda, ug didto kumaon ka sa tinapay, ug panagna didto:
13 But prophecie no more at Beth-el: for it is the Kings chappel, and it is the Kings court.
Apan ayaw na panagna pag-usab sa Beth-el; kay kini mao ang balaan nga puloy-anan sa hari, ug kini mao ang balay nga harianon.
14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no Prophet, neither was I a prophets sonne, but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of wilde figs.
Unya mitubag si Amos, ug miingon kang Amasias: Ako dili manalagna, ni anak nga lalake sa manalagna ako; ako hinoon bakero, ug usa ka magaatiman sa mga kahoyng sicomoro:
15 And the Lord tooke me as I followed the flocke, and the Lord said vnto me, Go, prophecie vnto my people Israel.
Ug gikuha ako ni Jehova gikan sa pagka-magbalantay sa panon sa kahayupan, ug si Jehova miingon kanako: Lakaw, panagna sa akong katawohan nga Israel.
16 Now therefore heare thou the word of the Lord. Thou sayest, Prophecie not against Israel, and speake nothing against the house of Izhak.
Busa karon mamati ka sa pulong ni Jehova: Ikaw nagaingon: Ayaw panagna batok sa Israel, ug ayaw pagtagaka ang imong pulong batok sa balay ni Isaac;
17 Therefore thus sayth the Lord, Thy wife shall be an harlot in the citie, and thy sonnes and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be deuided by line: and thou shalt die in a polluted land, and Israel shall surely go into captiuitie forth of his land.
Busa mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Ang imong asawa mahimong bigaon diha sa ciudad, ug ang imong mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye mangapukan pinaagi sa espada, ug ang ang imong yuta pagabahinon pinaagi sa latid; ug ikaw sa imong kaugalingon mamatay sa yuta nga mahugaw, ug ang Israel sa pagkatinuod bihagon ngadto sa gawas sa iyang yuta.
