< Amos 4 >

1 Heare this worde, ye kine of Bashan that are in the mountaine of Samaria, which oppresse the poore, and destroy the needie, and they say to their masters, Bring, and let vs drinke.
Nụrụ okwu a, unu nne ehi nke Bashan, ndị na-ebi nʼelu ugwu Sameria, unu ndị inyom na-emegbu ndị ogbenye, ma zọpịakwa ndị mkpa na-akpa, ndị na-asị di ha, “welatara anyị ihe ọṅụṅụ”
2 The Lord God hath sworne by his holines, that loe, the dayes shall come vpon you, that hee wil take you away with thornes, and your posteritie with fish hookes.
Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị ewerela ịdị nsọ ya ṅụọ iyi, sị, “Ụbọchị ahụ aghaghị ịbịa mgbe a ga-eji nko dọkpụrụ unu pụọ; jiri nko azụ dọkpụrụ ọ bụladị onye ikpeazụ nʼime unu.
3 And ye shall goe out at the breaches euery kow forward: and ye shall cast your selues out of the palace, saith the Lord.
Ọ bụ site nʼoghere dị iche iche e mere na mgbidi obodo, ka onye ọbụla ga-esi nʼahịrị nʼahịrị pụọ, a ga-atụga unu nʼụzọ Hamon.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
4 Come to Beth-el, and transgresse: to Gilgal, and multiplie transgression, and bring your sacrifices in the morning, and your tithes after three yeres.
“Gaanụ na Betel, ma jehie. Jeenụ Gilgal mee ka mmehie baa ụba. Butenụ ihe aja unu ụtụtụ niile. Webatakwanụ onyinye otu ụzọ nʼụzọ iri unu nʼụbọchị atọ ọbụla.
5 And offer a thankesgiuing of leauen, publish and proclaime the free offrings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord God.
Chụọnụ aja nsure ọkụ dịka aja ekele, site nʼachịcha koro eko; kpọsaakwanụ banyere onyinye afọ ofufu niile unu na-enye, nyaanụ isi banyere ha, unu bụ ndị Izrel, nʼihi na nke a bụ ihe unu hụrụ nʼanya ime.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
6 And therefore haue I giuen you cleannes of teeth in all your cities, and scarcenesse of bread in all your places, yet haue ye not returned vnto me, saith the Lord.
“E mere m ka unu nwee eze dị ọcha nʼobodo unu niile, mekwa ka ụkọ nri dị nʼọnụmara unu niile ma unu alọghachikwuteghị m.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
7 And also I haue withholden the raine from you, when there were yet three moneths to the haruest, and I caused it to raine vpon one citie, and haue not caused it to raine vpon another citie: one piece was rained vpon, and the piece whereupon it rained not, withered.
“Ọzọkwa, Mụ onwe m gbochikwara mmiri izoro unu, mgbe ọ fọdụrụ ọnwa atọ tupu owuwe ihe ubi ebido. Enyere m otu obodo mmiri ozuzo, ma gbochie ya izoro obodo nke ọzọ. Mmiri zoro nʼotu ubi, ma nke mmiri ezoghị na ya kpọnwụrụ.
8 So two or three cities wandred vnto one citie to drinke water, but they were not satisfied: yet haue ye not returned vnto me, saith the Lord.
Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
9 I haue smitten you with blasting, and mildewe: your great gardens and your vineyardes, and your figtrees, and your oliue trees did the palmer worme deuoure: yet haue ye not returned vnto me, saith the Lord.
“Ezitere m ọrịa nchakpọ nʼubi unu niile a gbara ogige, ya na ubi vaịnị unu niile, ọtụtụ oge, werekwa ọrịa na-eripịa ihe ubi na ọmụma ebu bibie ha, zitekwa igurube nke richapụrụ osisi fiig na osisi oliv unu niile, ma nke a emeghị ka unu lọghachikwute m.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
10 Pestilence haue I sent among you, after the maner of Egypt: your yong men haue I slaine with the sworde, and haue taken away your horses: and I haue made the stinke of your tentes to come vp euen into your nostrels: yet haue yee not returned vnto me, saith the Lord.
“Ezitere m nʼetiti unu ajọ ọrịa na-efe efe dịka ndị ahụ m zitere ndị Ijipt. Ejiri m mma agha gbuo ụmụ okorobịa unu, mee ka a dọta ịnyịnya agha unu nʼagha. Emere m ka isisi ọjọọ ndị niile nwuru nʼọmụma ụlọ ikwu unu jupụta imi unu, ma nke a emeghị ka unu lọghachikwute m.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
11 I haue ouerthrowe you, as God ouerthrew Sodom and Gomorah: and ye were as a firebrand pluckt out of the burning: yet haue ye not returned vnto me, saith the Lord.
“Akwaturu m ụfọdụ nʼime unu dịka mgbe Chineke kwaturu Sọdọm na Gọmọra. Unu dịka ọlọkọ nkụ ọkụ alọpụtara site nʼọkụ, ma unu alọghachikwuteghị m,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
12 Therefore, thus wil I do vnto thee, O Israel: and because I wil doe this vnto thee, prepare to meete thy God, O Israel.
“Nʼihi ya, ihe ndị a ka m na-aga ime gị, gị bụ Izrel. Ebe ọ bụkwa na ejikerela m ime gị ihe ndị a, jikere, O Izrel, izute Chineke gị.”
13 For lo, he that formeth the mountaines, and createth the winde, and declareth vnto man what is his thought: which maketh the morning darkenesse, and walketh vpon the hie places of the earth, the Lord God of hostes is his Name.
Ma lee, onye na-akpụ ugwu niile, onye na-ekekwa ifufe, nke na-ekpughekwa echiche uche ya nye mmadụ, onye na-emekwa ka chi ọbụbọ ghọọ ọchịchịrị, na-azọchakwa ugwu niile nʼọbụụkwụ ya, Onyenwe anyị Chineke Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile bụ aha ya.
