Acts 1
1 I have made the former treatise, O Theophilus, of al that Jesus began to doe and teach,
ஹே தி²யபி²ல, யீஸு²: ஸ்வமநோநீதாந் ப்ரேரிதாந் பவித்ரேணாத்மநா ஸமாதி³ஸ்²ய யஸ்மிந் தி³நே ஸ்வர்க³மாரோஹத் யாம்’ யாம்’ க்ரியாமகரோத் யத்³யத்³ உபாதி³ஸ²ச்ச தாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி பூர்வ்வம்’ மயா லிகி²தாநி|
2 Vntill the day that hee was taken vp, after that hee through the holy Ghost, had giuen commandements vnto the Apostles, whome hee had chosen:
ஸ ஸ்வநித⁴நது³: க²போ⁴கா³த் பரம் அநேகப்ரத்யயக்ஷப்ரமாணௌ: ஸ்வம்’ ஸஜீவம்’ த³ர்ஸ²யித்வா
3 To whome also he presented himselfe aliue after that he had suffered, by many infallible tokens, being seene of them by the space of fourtie daies, and speaking of those thinges which appertaine to the kingdome of God.
சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³தி³நாநி யாவத் தேப்⁴ய: ப்ரேரிதேப்⁴யோ த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ த³த்த்வேஸ்²வரீயராஜ்யஸ்ய வர்ணநம அகரோத்|
4 And when he had gathered them together, he commanded them, that they should not depart from Hierusalem, but to waite for the promise of the Father, which sayde hee, yee haue heard of me.
அநந்தரம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸபா⁴ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா இத்யாஜ்ஞாபயத், யூயம்’ யிரூஸா²லமோ(அ)ந்யத்ர க³மநமக்ரு’த்வா யஸ்திந் பித்ராங்கீ³க்ரு’தே மம வத³நாத் கதா² அஸ்²ரு’ணுத தத்ப்ராப்திம் அபேக்ஷ்ய திஷ்ட²த|
5 For Iohn in deede baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the holy Ghost within these fewe daies.
யோஹந் ஜலே மஜ்ஜிதாவாந் கிந்த்வல்பதி³நமத்⁴யே யூயம்’ பவித்ர ஆத்மநி மஜ்ஜிதா ப⁴விஷ்யத²|
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore the kingdome to Israel?
பஸ்²சாத் தே ஸர்வ்வே மிலித்வா தம் அப்ரு’ச்ச²ந் ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ ப⁴வாந் கிமிதா³நீம்’ புநரபி ராஜ்யம் இஸ்ராயேலீயலோகாநாம்’ கரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யதி?
7 And hee saide vnto them, It is not for you to know the times, or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his owne power,
தத: ஸோவத³த் யாந் ஸர்வ்வாந் காலாந் ஸமயாம்’ஸ்²ச பிதா ஸ்வவஸே²(அ)ஸ்தா²பயத் தாந் ஜ்ஞாத்ரும்’’ யுஷ்மாகம் அதி⁴காரோ ந ஜாயதே|
8 But yee shall receiue power of the holy Ghost, when he shall come on you: and ye shalbe witnesses vnto me both in Hierusalem and in all Iudea, and in Samaria, and vnto the vttermost part of the earth.
கிந்து யுஷ்மாஸு பவித்ரஸ்யாத்மந ஆவிர்பா⁴வே ஸதி யூயம்’ ஸ²க்திம்’ ப்ராப்ய யிரூஸா²லமி ஸமஸ்தயிஹூதா³ஸோ²மிரோணதே³ஸ²யோ: ப்ரு’தி²வ்யா: ஸீமாம்’ யாவத்³ யாவந்தோ தே³ஸா²ஸ்தேஷு யர்வ்வேஷு ச மயி ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ தா³ஸ்யத²|
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they behelde, he was taken vp: for a cloude tooke him vp out of their sight.
இதி வாக்யமுக்த்வா ஸ தேஷாம்’ ஸமக்ஷம்’ ஸ்வர்க³ம்’ நீதோ(அ)ப⁴வத், ததோ மேக⁴மாருஹ்ய தேஷாம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டேரகோ³சரோ(அ)ப⁴வத்|
10 And while they looked stedfastly towarde heauen, as hee went, beholde, two men stoode by them in white apparell,
யஸ்மிந் ஸமயே தே விஹாயஸம்’ ப்ரத்யநந்யத்³ரு’ஷ்ட்யா தஸ்ய தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம் ஊர்த்³வ்வக³மநம் அபஸ்²யந் தஸ்மிந்நேவ ஸமயே ஸு²க்லவஸ்த்ரௌ த்³வௌ ஜநௌ தேஷாம்’ ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ த³ண்டா³யமாநௌ கதி²தவந்தௌ,
11 Which also sayde, Yee men of Galile, why stande yee gasing into heauen? This Iesus which is taken vp from you into heauen, shall so come, as yee haue seene him goe into heauen.
ஹே கா³லீலீயலோகா யூயம்’ கிமர்த²ம்’ க³க³ணம்’ ப்ரதி நிரீக்ஷ்ய த³ண்டா³யமாநாஸ்திஷ்ட²த²? யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபாத் ஸ்வர்க³ம்’ நீதோ யோ யீஸு²ஸ்தம்’ யூயம்’ யதா² ஸ்வர்க³ம் ஆரோஹந்தம் அத³ர்ஸ²ம் ததா² ஸ புநஸ்²சாக³மிஷ்யதி|
12 Then returned they vnto Hierusalem from the mount that is called the mount of Oliues, which is neere to Hierusalem, being from it a Sabbath daies iourney.
தத: பரம்’ தே ஜைதுநநாம்ந: பர்வ்வதாத்³ விஸ்²ராமவாரஸ்ய பத²: பரிமாணம் அர்தா²த் ப்ராயேணார்த்³த⁴க்ரோஸ²ம்’ து³ரஸ்த²ம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரம்’ பராவ்ரு’த்யாக³ச்ச²ந்|
13 And when they were come in, they went vp into an vpper chamber, where abode both Peter and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartlemew, and Matthewe, Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Iudas Iames brother.
நக³ரம்’ ப்ரவிஸ்²ய பிதரோ யாகூப்³ யோஹந் ஆந்த்³ரிய: பி²லிப: தோ²மா ப³ர்த²ஜமயோ மதி²ரால்பீ²யபுத்ரோ யாகூப்³ உத்³யோகா³ ஸி²மோந் யாகூபோ³ ப்⁴ராதா யிஹூதா³ ஏதே ஸர்வ்வே யத்ர ஸ்தா²நே ப்ரவஸந்தி தஸ்மிந் உபரிதநப்ரகோஷ்டே² ப்ராவிஸ²ந்|
14 These all continued with one accorde in prayer and supplication with the women, and Marie the mother of Iesus, and with his brethren.
பஸ்²சாத்³ இமே கியத்ய: ஸ்த்ரியஸ்²ச யீஸோ² ர்மாதா மரியம் தஸ்ய ப்⁴ராதரஸ்²சைதே ஸர்வ்வ ஏகசித்தீபூ⁴த ஸததம்’ விநயேந விநயேந ப்ரார்த²யந்த|
15 And in those dayes Peter stoode vp in the middes of the disciples, and sayde (nowe the nomber of names that were in one place were about an hundreth and twentie.)
தஸ்மிந் ஸமயே தத்ர ஸ்தா²நே ஸாகல்யேந விம்’ஸ²த்யதி⁴கஸ²தம்’ ஸி²ஷ்யா ஆஸந்| தத: பிதரஸ்தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே திஷ்ட²ந் உக்தவாந்
16 Yee men and brethren, this scripture must needes haue beene fulfilled, which the holy Ghost by the mouth of Dauid spake before of Iudas, which was guide to them that tooke Iesus.
ஹே ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ண யீஸு²தா⁴ரிணாம்’ லோகாநாம்’ பத²த³ர்ஸ²கோ யோ யிஹூதா³ஸ்தஸ்மிந் தா³யூதா³ பவித்ர ஆத்மா யாம்’ கதா²ம்’ கத²யாமாஸ தஸ்யா: ப்ரத்யக்ஷீப⁴வநஸ்யாவஸ்²யகத்வம் ஆஸீத்|
17 For hee was nombred with vs, and had obteined fellowship in this ministration.
ஸ ஜநோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யவர்த்தீ ஸந் அஸ்யா: ஸேவாயா அம்’ஸ²ம் அலப⁴த|
18 He therefore hath purchased a field with the reward of iniquitie: and when he had throwen downe himselfe headlong, hee brast asunder in the middes, and all his bowels gushed out.
தத³நந்தரம்’ குகர்ம்மணா லப்³த⁴ம்’ யந்மூல்யம்’ தேந க்ஷேத்ரமேகம்’ க்ரீதம் அபரம்’ தஸ்மிந் அதோ⁴முகே² ப்⁴ரு’மௌ பதிதே ஸதி தஸ்யோத³ரஸ்ய விதீ³ர்ணத்வாத் ஸர்வ்வா நாட்³யோ நிரக³ச்ச²ந்|
19 And it is knowen vnto all the inhabitants of Hierusalem, in so much, that that field is called in their owne language, Aceldama, That is, the field of blood.
ஏதாம்’ கதா²ம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்நிவாஸிந: ஸர்வ்வே லோகா விதா³ந்தி; தேஷாம்’ நிஜபா⁴ஷயா தத்க்ஷேத்ரஞ்ச ஹகல்தா³மா, அர்தா²த் ரக்தக்ஷேத்ரமிதி விக்²யாதமாஸ்தே|
20 For it is written in the booke of Psalmes, Let his habitation be void, and let no man dwel therein: also, Let another take his charge.
அந்யச்ச, நிகேதநம்’ ததீ³யந்து ஸு²ந்யமேவ ப⁴விஷ்யதி| தஸ்ய தூ³ஷ்யே நிவாஸார்த²ம்’ கோபி ஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி நைவ ஹி| அந்ய ஏவ ஜநஸ்தஸ்ய பத³ம்’ ஸம்’ப்ராப்ஸ்யதி த்⁴ருவம்’| இத்த²ம்’ கீ³தபுஸ்தகே லிகி²தமாஸ்தே|
21 Wherefore of these men which haue companied with vs, all the time that the Lord Iesus was conuersant among vs,
அதோ யோஹநோ மஜ்ஜநம் ஆரப்⁴யாஸ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபாத் ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸோ²: ஸ்வர்கா³ரோஹணதி³நம்’ யாவத் ஸோஸ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே யாவந்தி தி³நாநி யாபிதவாந்
22 Beginning from the baptisme of Iohn vnto the day that hee was taken vp from vs, must one of them bee made a witnesse with vs of his resurrection.
தாவந்தி தி³நாநி யே மாநவா அஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ திஷ்ட²ந்தி தேஷாம் ஏகேந ஜநேநாஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யீஸோ²ருத்தா²நே ஸாக்ஷிணா ப⁴விதவ்யம்’|
23 And they presented two, Ioseph called Barsabas, whose surname was Iustus, and Matthias.
அதோ யஸ்ய ரூடி⁴ ர்யுஷ்டோ யம்’ ப³ர்ஸ²ப்³பே³த்யுக்த்வாஹூயந்தி ஸ யூஷப்² மததி²ஸ்²ச த்³வாவேதௌ ப்ரு’த²க் க்ரு’த்வா த ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ ப்ரார்ய்ய கதி²தவந்த: ,
24 And they praied, saying, Thou Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shewe whether of these two thou hast chosen,
ஹே ஸர்வ்வாந்தர்ய்யாமிந் பரமேஸ்²வர, யிஹூதா³: ஸேவநப்ரேரிதத்வபத³ச்யுத:
25 That he may take the roume of this ministration and Apostleship, from which Iudas hath gone astray, to goe to his owne place.
ஸந் நிஜஸ்தா²நம் அக³ச்ச²த், தத்பத³ம்’ லப்³து⁴ம் ஏநயோ ர்ஜநயோ ர்மத்⁴யே ப⁴வதா கோ(அ)பி⁴ருசிதஸ்தத³ஸ்மாந் த³ர்ஸ்²யதாம்’|
26 Then they gaue foorth their lottes: and the lotte fell on Matthias, and hee was by a common consent counted with the eleuen Apostles.
ததோ கு³டிகாபாடே க்ரு’தே மததி²ர்நிரசீயத தஸ்மாத் ஸோந்யேஷாம் ஏகாத³ஸா²நாம்’ ப்ரரிதாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே க³ணிதோப⁴வத்|
