Acts 7
1 Then sayd the chiefe Priest, Are these things so?
தத: பரம்’ மஹாயாஜக: ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந், ஏஷா கதா²ம்’ கிம்’ ஸத்யா?
2 And he sayd, Ye men, brethren and Fathers, hearken. That God of glory appeared vnto our father Abraham, while he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
தத: ஸ ப்ரத்யவத³த், ஹே பிதரோ ஹே ப்⁴ராதர: ஸர்வ்வே லாகா மநாம்’ஸி நித⁴த்³த்⁴வம்’| அஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷ இப்³ராஹீம் ஹாரண்நக³ரே வாஸகரணாத் பூர்வ்வம்’ யதா³ அராம்-நஹரயிமதே³ஸே² ஆஸீத் ததா³ தேஜோமய ஈஸ்²வரோ த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ த³த்வா
3 And said vnto him, Come out of thy countrey, and from thy kindred, and come into the land, which I shall shewe thee.
தமவத³த் த்வம்’ ஸ்வதே³ஸ²ஜ்ஞாதிமித்ராணி பரித்யஜ்ய யம்’ தே³ஸ²மஹம்’ த³ர்ஸ²யிஷ்யாமி தம்’ தே³ஸ²ம்’ வ்ரஜ|
4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldeans, and dwelt in Charran. And after that his father was dead, God brought him from thence into this land, wherein ye now dwell,
அத: ஸ கஸ்தீ³யதே³ஸ²ம்’ விஹாய ஹாரண்நக³ரே ந்யவஸத், தத³நந்தரம்’ தஸ்ய பிதரி ம்ரு’தே யத்ர தே³ஸே² யூயம்’ நிவஸத² ஸ ஏநம்’ தே³ஸ²மாக³ச்ச²த்|
5 And hee gaue him none inheritance in it, no, not the bredth of a foote: yet he promised that he would giue it to him for a possession, and to his seede after him, when as yet hee had no childe.
கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்தஸ்மை கமப்யதி⁴காரம் அர்தா²த்³ ஏகபத³பரிமிதாம்’ பூ⁴மிமபி நாத³தா³த்; ததா³ தஸ்ய கோபி ஸந்தாநோ நாஸீத் ததா²பி ஸந்தாநை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஏதஸ்ய தே³ஸ²ஸ்யாதி⁴காரீ த்வம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யஸீதி தம்ப்ரத்யங்கீ³க்ரு’தவாந்|
6 But God spake thus, that his seede should be a soiourner in a strange land: and that they should keepe it in bondage, and entreate it euill foure hundreth yeeres.
ஈஸ்²வர இத்த²ம் அபரமபி கதி²தவாந் தவ ஸந்தாநா: பரதே³ஸே² நிவத்ஸ்யந்தி ததஸ்தத்³தே³ஸீ²யலோகாஸ்²சது: ஸ²தவத்ஸராந் யாவத் தாந் தா³ஸத்வே ஸ்தா²பயித்வா தாந் ப்ரதி குவ்யவஹாரம்’ கரிஷ்யந்தி|
7 But the nation to whome they shall be in bondage, will I iudge, sayth God: and after that, they shall come forth and serue me in this place.
அபரம் ஈஸ்²வர ஏநாம்’ கதா²மபி கதி²தவாந், யே லோகாஸ்தாந் தா³ஸத்வே ஸ்தா²பயிஷ்யந்தி தால்லோகாந் அஹம்’ த³ண்ட³யிஷ்யாமி, தத: பரம்’ தே ப³ஹிர்க³தா: ஸந்தோ மாம் அத்ர ஸ்தா²நே ஸேவிஷ்யந்தே|
8 Hee gaue him also the couenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begate Isaac, and circumcised him the eight day: and Isaac begate Iacob, and Iacob the twelue Patriarkes.
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ தஸ்மை த்வக்சே²த³ஸ்ய நியமம்’ த³த்தவாந், அத இஸ்ஹாகநாம்நி இப்³ராஹீம ஏகபுத்ரே ஜாதே, அஷ்டமதி³நே தஸ்ய த்வக்சே²த³ம் அகரோத்| தஸ்ய இஸ்ஹாக: புத்ரோ யாகூப்³, ததஸ்தஸ்ய யாகூபோ³(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ த்³வாத³ஸ² பூர்வ்வபுருஷா அஜாயந்த|
9 And the Patriarkes moued with enuie, solde Ioseph into Egypt: but God was with him,
தே பூர்வ்வபுருஷா ஈர்ஷ்யயா பரிபூர்ணா மிஸரதே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரேஷயிதும்’ யூஷப²ம்’ வ்யக்ரீணந்|
10 And deliuered him out of all his afflictions, and gaue him fauour and wisdome in the sight of Pharao King of Egypt, who made him gouernour ouer Egypt, and ouer his whole house.
கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்தஸ்ய ஸஹாயோ பூ⁴த்வா ஸர்வ்வஸ்யா து³ர்க³தே ரக்ஷித்வா தஸ்மை பு³த்³தி⁴ம்’ த³த்த்வா மிஸரதே³ஸ²ஸ்ய ராஜ்ஞ: பி²ரௌண: ப்ரியபாத்ரம்’ க்ரு’தவாந் ததோ ராஜா மிஸரதே³ஸ²ஸ்ய ஸ்வீயஸர்வ்வபரிவாரஸ்ய ச ஸா²ஸநபத³ம்’ தஸ்மை த³த்தவாந்|
11 Then came there a famine ouer all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction, that our fathers found no sustenance.
தஸ்மிந் ஸமயே மிஸர-கிநாநதே³ஸ²யோ ர்து³ர்பி⁴க்ஷஹேதோரதிக்லிஷ்டத்வாத் ந: பூர்வ்வபுருஷா ப⁴க்ஷ்யத்³ரவ்யம்’ நாலப⁴ந்த|
12 But when Iacob heard that there was corne in Egypt, he sent our fathers first:
கிந்து மிஸரதே³ஸே² ஸ²ஸ்யாநி ஸந்தி, யாகூப்³ இமாம்’ வார்த்தாம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ப்ரத²மம் அஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாந் மிஸரம்’ ப்ரேஷிதவாந்|
13 And at the second time, Ioseph was knowen of his brethren, and Iosephs kindred was made knowen vnto Pharao.
ததோ த்³விதீயவாரக³மநே யூஷப்² ஸ்வப்⁴ராத்ரு’பி⁴: பரிசிதோ(அ)ப⁴வத்; யூஷபோ² ப்⁴ராதர: பி²ரௌண் ராஜேந பரிசிதா அப⁴வந்|
14 Then sent Ioseph and caused his father to be brought, and all his kindred, euen threescore and fifteene soules.
அநந்தரம்’ யூஷப்² ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணம்’ ப்ரேஷ்ய நிஜபிதரம்’ யாகூப³ம்’ நிஜாந் பஞ்சாதி⁴கஸப்ததிஸம்’க்²யகாந் ஜ்ஞாதிஜநாம்’ஸ்²ச ஸமாஹூதவாந்|
15 So Iacob went downe into Egypt, and he dyed, and our fathers,
தஸ்மாத்³ யாகூப்³ மிஸரதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³த்வா ஸ்வயம் அஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாஸ்²ச தஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே(அ)ம்ரியந்த|
16 And were remoued into Sychem, and were put in the sepulchre, that Abraham had bought for money of the sonnes of Emor, sonne of Sychem.
ததஸ்தே ஸி²கி²மம்’ நீதா யத் ஸ்²மஸா²நம் இப்³ராஹீம் முத்³ராத³த்வா ஸி²கி²ம: பிது ர்ஹமோர: புத்ரேப்⁴ய: க்ரீதவாந் தத்ஸ்²மஸா²நே ஸ்தா²பயாஞ்சக்ரிரே|
17 But when the time of the promise drewe neere, which God had sworne to Abraham, the people grewe and multiplied in Egypt,
தத: பரம் ஈஸ்²வர இப்³ராஹீம: ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ ஸ²பத²ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யாம்’ ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாம்’ க்ரு’தவாந் தஸ்யா: ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாயா: ப²லநஸமயே நிகடே ஸதி இஸ்ராயேல்லோகா ஸிமரதே³ஸே² வர்த்³த⁴மாநா ப³ஹுஸம்’க்²யா அப⁴வந்|
18 Till another King arose, which knewe not Ioseph.
ஸே²ஷே யூஷப²ம்’ யோ ந பரிசிநோதி தாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏகோ நரபதிருபஸ்தா²ய
19 The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and euill entreated our fathers, and made them to cast out their yong children, that they should not remaine aliue.
அஸ்மாகம்’ ஜ்ஞாதிபி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ தூ⁴ர்த்ததாம்’ விதா⁴ய பூர்வ்வபுருஷாந் ப்ரதி குவ்யவஹரணபூர்வ்வகம்’ தேஷாம்’ வம்’ஸ²நாஸ²நாய தேஷாம்’ நவஜாதாந் ஸி²ஸூ²ந் ப³ஹி ர்நிரக்ஷேபயத்|
20 The same time was Moses borne, and was acceptable vnto God, which was nourished vp in his fathers house three moneths.
ஏதஸ்மிந் ஸமயே மூஸா ஜஜ்ஞே, ஸ து பரமஸுந்த³ரோ(அ)ப⁴வத் ததா² பித்ரு’க்³ரு’ஹே மாஸத்ரயபர்ய்யந்தம்’ பாலிதோ(அ)ப⁴வத்|
21 And when he was cast out, Pharaohs daughter tooke him vp, and nourished him for her owne sonne.
கிந்து தஸ்மிந் ப³ஹிர்நிக்ஷிப்தே ஸதி பி²ரௌணராஜஸ்ய கந்யா தம் உத்தோல்ய நீத்வா த³த்தகபுத்ரம்’ க்ரு’த்வா பாலிதவதீ|
22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdome of the Egyptians, and was mightie in wordes and in deedes.
தஸ்மாத் ஸ மூஸா மிஸரதே³ஸீ²யாயா: ஸர்வ்வவித்³யாயா: பாரத்³ரு’ஷ்வா ஸந் வாக்யே க்ரியாயாஞ்ச ஸ²க்திமாந் அப⁴வத்|
23 Nowe when he was full fourtie yeere olde, it came into his heart to visite his brethren, the children of Israel.
ஸ ஸம்பூர்ணசத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³வத்ஸரவயஸ்கோ பூ⁴த்வா இஸ்ராயேலீயவம்’ஸ²நிஜப்⁴ராத்ரு’ந் ஸாக்ஷாத் கர்தும்’ மதிம்’ சக்ரே|
24 And whe he saw one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and auenged his quarell that had the harme done to him, and smote the Egyptian.
தேஷாம்’ ஜநமேகம்’ ஹிம்’ஸிதம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தஸ்ய ஸபக்ஷ: ஸந் ஹிம்’ஸிதஜநம் உபக்ரு’த்ய மிஸரீயஜநம்’ ஜகா⁴ந|
25 For hee supposed his brethren would haue vnderstand, that God by his hande should giue them deliuerance: but they vnderstoode it not.
தஸ்ய ஹஸ்தேநேஸ்²வரஸ்தாந் உத்³த⁴ரிஷ்யதி தஸ்ய ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ண இதி ஜ்ஞாஸ்யதி ஸ இத்யநுமாநம்’ சகார, கிந்து தே ந பு³பு³தி⁴ரே|
26 And the next day, he shewed himselfe vnto them as they stroue, and woulde haue set them at one againe, saying, Syrs, ye are brethren: why doe ye wrong one to another?
தத்பரே (அ)ஹநி தேஷாம் உப⁴யோ ர்ஜநயோ ர்வாக்கலஹ உபஸ்தி²தே ஸதி மூஸா: ஸமீபம்’ க³த்வா தயோ ர்மேலநம்’ கர்த்தும்’ மதிம்’ க்ரு’த்வா கத²யாமாஸ, ஹே மஹாஸ²யௌ யுவாம்’ ப்⁴ராதரௌ பரஸ்பரம் அந்யாயம்’ குத: குருத²: ?
27 But he that did his neighbour wrong, thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a prince, and a iudge ouer vs?
தத: ஸமீபவாஸிநம்’ ப்ரதி யோ ஜநோ(அ)ந்யாயம்’ சகார ஸ தம்’ தூ³ரீக்ரு’த்ய கத²யாமாஸ, அஸ்மாகமுபரி ஸா²ஸ்த்ரு’த்வவிசாரயித்ரு’த்வபத³யோ: கஸ்த்வாம்’ நியுக்தவாந்?
28 Wilt thou kill mee, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?
ஹ்யோ யதா² மிஸரீயம்’ ஹதவாந் ததா² கிம்’ மாமபி ஹநிஷ்யஸி?
29 Then fled Moses at that saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begate two sonnes.
ததா³ மூஸா ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம்’ கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா பலாயநம்’ சக்ரே, ததோ மிதி³யநதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³த்வா ப்ரவாஸீ ஸந் தஸ்தௌ², ததஸ்தத்ர த்³வௌ புத்ரௌ ஜஜ்ஞாதே|
30 And when fourtie yeres were expired, there appeared to him in the wildernes of mout Sina, an Angel of the Lord in a flame of fire, in a bush.
அநந்தரம்’ சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³வத்ஸரேஷு க³தேஷு ஸீநயபர்வ்வதஸ்ய ப்ராந்தரே ப்ரஜ்வலிதஸ்தம்ப³ஸ்ய வஹ்நிஸி²கா²யாம்’ பரமேஸ்²வரதூ³தஸ்தஸ்மை த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ த³தௌ³|
31 And when Moses sawe it, hee wondred at the sight: and as he drew neere to consider it, the voyce of the Lord came vnto him, saying,
மூஸாஸ்தஸ்மிந் த³ர்ஸ²நே விஸ்மயம்’ மத்வா விஸே²ஷம்’ ஜ்ஞாதும்’ நிகடம்’ க³ச்ச²தி,
32 I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold it.
ஏதஸ்மிந் ஸமயே, அஹம்’ தவ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாணாம் ஈஸ்²வரோ(அ)ர்தா²த்³ இப்³ராஹீம ஈஸ்²வர இஸ்ஹாக ஈஸ்²வரோ யாகூப³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்²ச, மூஸாமுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய பரமேஸ்²வரஸ்யைதாத்³ரு’ஸீ² விஹாயஸீயா வாணீ ப³பூ⁴வ, தத: ஸ கம்பாந்வித: ஸந் புந ர்நிரீக்ஷிதும்’ ப்ரக³ல்போ⁴ ந ப³பூ⁴வ|
33 Then the Lord said to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feete: for the place where thou standest, is holy ground.
பரமேஸ்²வரஸ்தம்’ ஜகா³த³, தவ பாத³யோ: பாது³கே மோசய யத்ர திஷ்ட²ஸி ஸா பவித்ரபூ⁴மி: |
34 I haue seene, I haue seene the affliction of my people, which is in Egypt, and I haue heard their groning, and am come downe to deliuer them: and nowe come, and I will sende thee into Egypt.
அஹம்’ மிஸரதே³ஸ²ஸ்தா²நாம்’ நிஜலோகாநாம்’ து³ர்த்³த³ஸா²ம்’ நிதாந்தம் அபஸ்²யம்’, தேஷாம்’ காதர்ய்யோக்திஞ்ச ஸ்²ருதவாந் தஸ்மாத் தாந் உத்³த⁴ர்த்தும் அவருஹ்யாக³மம்; இதா³நீம் ஆக³ச்ச² மிஸரதே³ஸ²ம்’ த்வாம்’ ப்ரேஷயாமி|
35 This Moses whome they forsooke, saying, Who made thee a prince and a iudge? the same God sent for a prince, and a deliuerer by the hand of the Angel, which appeared to him in the bush.
கஸ்த்வாம்’ ஸா²ஸ்த்ரு’த்வவிசாரயித்ரு’த்வபத³யோ ர்நியுக்தவாந், இதி வாக்யமுக்த்வா தை ர்யோ மூஸா அவஜ்ஞாதஸ்தமேவ ஈஸ்²வர: ஸ்தம்ப³மத்⁴யே த³ர்ஸ²நதா³த்ரா தேந தூ³தேந ஸா²ஸ்தாரம்’ முக்திதா³தாரஞ்ச க்ரு’த்வா ப்ரேஷயாமாஸ|
36 Hee brought them out, doing wonders, and miracles in the land of Egypt, and in the red sea, and in the wildernes fourtie yeeres.
ஸ ச மிஸரதே³ஸே² ஸூப்²நாம்நி ஸமுத்³ரே ச பஸ்²சாத் சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³வத்ஸராந் யாவத் மஹாப்ராந்தரே நாநாப்ரகாராண்யத்³பு⁴தாநி கர்ம்மாணி லக்ஷணாநி ச த³ர்ஸ²யித்வா தாந் ப³ஹி: க்ரு’த்வா ஸமாநிநாய|
37 This is that Moses, which saide vnto the children of Israel, A Prophet shall the Lord your God raise vp vnto you, euen of your brethren, like vnto me: him shall ye heare.
ப்ரபு⁴: பரமேஸ்²வரோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணஸ்ய மத்⁴யே மாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம் ஏகம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வக்தாரம் உத்பாத³யிஷ்யதி தஸ்ய கதா²யாம்’ யூயம்’ மநோ நிதா⁴ஸ்யத², யோ ஜந இஸ்ராயேல: ஸந்தாநேப்⁴ய ஏநாம்’ கதா²ம்’ கத²யாமாஸ ஸ ஏஷ மூஸா: |
38 This is he that was in the Congregation, in the wildernes with the Angell, which spake to him in mount Sina, and with our fathers, who receiued the liuely oracles to giue vnto vs.
மஹாப்ராந்தரஸ்த²மண்ட³லீமத்⁴யே(அ)பி ஸ ஏவ ஸீநயபர்வ்வதோபரி தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸம்’லாபிநோ தூ³தஸ்ய சாஸ்மத்பித்ரு’க³ணஸ்ய மத்⁴யஸ்த²: ஸந் அஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ தா³தவ்யநி ஜீவநதா³யகாநி வாக்யாநி லேபே⁴|
39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but refused, and in their hearts turned backe againe into Egypt:
அஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாஸ்தம் அமாந்யம்’ கத்வா ஸ்வேப்⁴யோ தூ³ரீக்ரு’த்ய மிஸரதே³ஸ²ம்’ பராவ்ரு’த்ய க³ந்தும்’ மநோபி⁴ரபி⁴லஷ்ய ஹாரோணம்’ ஜக³து³: ,
40 Saying vnto Aaron, Make vs gods that may goe before vs: for we knowe not what is become of this Moses that brought vs out of the land of Egypt.
அஸ்மாகம் அக்³ரே(அ)க்³ரே க³ந்தும் அஸ்மத³ர்த²ம்’ தே³வக³ணம்’ நிர்ம்மாஹி யதோ யோ மூஸா அஸ்மாந் மிஸரதே³ஸா²த்³ ப³ஹி: க்ரு’த்வாநீதவாந் தஸ்ய கிம்’ ஜாதம்’ தத³ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந ஜ்ஞாயதே|
41 And they made a calfe in those dayes, and offered sacrifice vnto the idole, and reioyced in the workes of their owne handes.
தஸ்மிந் ஸமயே தே கோ³வத்ஸாக்ரு’திம்’ ப்ரதிமாம்’ நிர்ம்மாய தாமுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய நைவேத்³யமுத்ம்ரு’ஜ்ய ஸ்வஹஸ்தக்ரு’தவஸ்துநா ஆநந்தி³தவந்த: |
42 Then God turned himselfe away, and gaue them vp to serue the host of heauen, as it is written in the booke of the Prophets, O house of Israel, haue ye offred to me slaine beasts and sacrifices by the space of fourtie yeres in the wildernes?
தஸ்மாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்தேஷாம்’ ப்ரதி விமுக²: ஸந் ஆகாஸ²ஸ்த²ம்’ ஜ்யோதிர்க³ணம்’ பூஜயிதும்’ தேப்⁴யோ(அ)நுமதிம்’ த³தௌ³, யாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ க்³ரந்தே²ஷு லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, யதா², இஸ்ராயேலீயவம்’ஸா² ரே சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்ஸமாந் புரா| மஹதி ப்ராந்தரே ஸம்’ஸ்தா² யூயந்து யாநி ச| ப³லிஹோமாதி³கர்ம்மாணி க்ரு’தவந்தஸ்து தாநி கிம்’| மாம்’ ஸமுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ப்ரக்ரு’தாநீதி நைவ ச|
43 And ye tooke vp the tabernacle of Moloch, and the starre of your god Remphan, figures, which ye made to worship them: therefore I will carie you away beyond Babylon.
கிந்து வோ மோலகாக்²யஸ்ய தே³வஸ்ய தூ³ஷ்யமேவ ச| யுஷ்மாகம்’ ரிம்ப²நாக்²யாயா தே³வதாயாஸ்²ச தாரகா| ஏதயோருப⁴யோ ர்மூர்தீ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: பரிபூஜிதே| அதோ யுஷ்மாம்’ஸ்து பா³பே³ல: பாரம்’ நேஷ்யாமி நிஸ்²சிதம்’|
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witnes, in the wildernes, as hee had appointed, speaking vnto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seene.
அபரஞ்ச யந்நித³ர்ஸ²நம் அபஸ்²யஸ்தத³நுஸாரேண தூ³ஷ்யம்’ நிர்ம்மாஹி யஸ்மிந் ஈஸ்²வரோ மூஸாம் ஏதத்³வாக்யம்’ ப³பா⁴ஷே தத் தஸ்ய நிரூபிதம்’ ஸாக்ஷ்யஸ்வரூபம்’ தூ³ஷ்யம் அஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷை: ஸஹ ப்ராந்தரே தஸ்தௌ²|
45 Which tabernacle also our fathers receiued, and brought in with Iesus into the possession of the Gentiles, which God draue out before our fathers, vnto the dayes of Dauid:
பஸ்²சாத் யிஹோஸூ²யேந ஸஹிதைஸ்தேஷாம்’ வம்’ஸ²ஜாதைரஸ்மத்பூர்வ்வபுருஷை: ஸ்வேஷாம்’ ஸம்முகா²த்³ ஈஸ்²வரேண தூ³ரீக்ரு’தாநாம் அந்யதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ தே³ஸா²தி⁴க்ரு’திகாலே ஸமாநீதம்’ தத்³ தூ³ஷ்யம்’ தா³யூதோ³தி⁴காரம்’ யாவத் தத்ர ஸ்தா²ந ஆஸீத்|
46 Who found fauour before God, and desired that hee might finde a tabernacle for the God of Iacob.
ஸ தா³யூத்³ பரமேஸ்²வரஸ்யாநுக்³ரஹம்’ ப்ராப்ய யாகூப்³ ஈஸ்²வரார்த²ம் ஏகம்’ தூ³ஷ்யம்’ நிர்ம்மாதும்’ வவாஞ்ச²;
47 But Salomon built him an house.
கிந்து ஸுலேமாந் தத³ர்த²ம்’ மந்தி³ரம் ஏகம்’ நிர்ம்மிதவாந்|
48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with handes, as saith the Prophet,
ததா²பி ய: ஸர்வ்வோபரிஸ்த²: ஸ கஸ்மிம்’ஸ்²சித்³ ஹஸ்தக்ரு’தே மந்தி³ரே நிவஸதீதி நஹி, ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதீ³ கதா²மேதாம்’ கத²யதி, யதா²,
49 Heauen is my throne, and earth is my footestoole: what house wil ye build for me, saith the Lord? or what place is it that I should rest in?
பரேஸோ² வத³தி ஸ்வர்கோ³ ராஜஸிம்’ஹாஸநம்’ மம| மதீ³யம்’ பாத³பீட²ஞ்ச ப்ரு’தி²வீ ப⁴வதி த்⁴ருவம்’| தர்ஹி யூயம்’ க்ரு’தே மே கிம்’ ப்ரநிர்ம்மாஸ்யத² மந்தி³ரம்’| விஸ்²ராமாய மதீ³யம்’ வா ஸ்தா²நம்’ கிம்’ வித்³யதே த்விஹ|
50 Hath not mine hand made all these things?
ஸர்வ்வாண்யேதாநி வஸ்தூநி கிம்’ மே ஹஸ்தக்ரு’தாநி ந||
51 Ye stiffenecked and of vncircumcised heartes and eares, ye haue alwayes resisted the holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you.
ஹே அநாஜ்ஞாக்³ராஹகா அந்த: கரணே ஸ்²ரவணே சாபவித்ரலோகா: யூயம் அநவரதம்’ பவித்ரஸ்யாத்மந: ப்ராதிகூல்யம் ஆசரத², யுஷ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷா யாத்³ரு’ஸா² யூயமபி தாத்³ரு’ஸா²: |
52 Which of the Prophets haue not your fathers persecuted? and they haue slaine them, which shewed before of the comming of that Iust, of whome ye are now the betrayers and murtherers,
யுஷ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷா: கம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நம்’ நாதாட³யந்? யே தஸ்ய தா⁴ர்ம்மிகஸ்ய ஜநஸ்யாக³மநகதா²ம்’ கதி²தவந்தஸ்தாந் அக்⁴நந் யூயம் அதூ⁴நா விஸ்²வாஸகா⁴திநோ பூ⁴த்வா தம்’ தா⁴ர்ம்மிகம்’ ஜநம் அஹத|
53 Which haue receiued the Lawe by the ordinance of Angels, and haue not kept it.
யூயம்’ ஸ்வர்கீ³யதூ³தக³ணேந வ்யவஸ்தா²ம்’ ப்ராப்யாபி தாம்’ நாசரத²|
54 But when they heard these thinges, their heartes brast for anger, and they gnashed at him with their teeth.
இமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா தே மந: ஸு பி³த்³தா⁴: ஸந்தஸ்தம்’ ப்ரதி த³ந்தக⁴ர்ஷணம் அகுர்வ்வந்|
55 But he being full of the holy Ghost, looked stedfastly into heauen, and sawe the glory of God, and Iesus standing at the right hand of God,
கிந்து ஸ்திபா²ந: பவித்ரேணாத்மநா பூர்ணோ பூ⁴த்வா க³க³ணம்’ ப்ரதி ஸ்தி²ரத்³ரு’ஷ்டிம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய த³க்ஷிணே த³ண்டா³யமாநம்’ யீஸு²ஞ்ச விலோக்ய கதி²தவாந்;
56 And said, Beholde, I see the heauens open, and the Sonne of man standing at the right hand of God.
பஸ்²ய, மேக⁴த்³வாரம்’ முக்தம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய த³க்ஷிணே ஸ்தி²தம்’ மாநவஸுதஞ்ச பஸ்²யாமி|
57 Then they gaue a shoute with a loude voyce, and stopped their eares, and ranne vpon him violently all at once,
ததா³ தே ப்ரோச்சை: ஸ²ப்³த³ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா கர்ணேஷ்வங்கு³லீ ர்நிதா⁴ய ஏகசித்தீபூ⁴ய தம் ஆக்ரமந்|
58 And cast him out of the citie, and stoned him: and the witnesses layd downe their clothes at a yong mans feete, named Saul.
பஸ்²சாத் தம்’ நக³ராத்³ ப³ஹி: க்ரு’த்வா ப்ரஸ்தரைராக்⁴நந் ஸாக்ஷிணோ லாகா: ஸௌ²லநாம்நோ யூநஸ்²சரணஸந்நிதௌ⁴ நிஜவஸ்த்ராணி ஸ்தா²பிதவந்த: |
59 And they stoned Steuen, who called on God, and said, Lord Iesus, receiue my spirit.
அநந்தரம்’ ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ யீஸே² மதீ³யமாத்மாநம்’ க்³ரு’ஹாண ஸ்திபா²நஸ்யேதி ப்ரார்த²நவாக்யவத³நஸமயே தே தம்’ ப்ரஸ்தரைராக்⁴நந்|
60 And he kneeled downe, and cried with a loude voyce, Lord, laye not this sinne to their charge. And when he had thus spoken, he slept.
தஸ்மாத் ஸ ஜாநுநீ பாதயித்வா ப்ரோச்சை: ஸ²ப்³த³ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா, ஹே ப்ரபே⁴ பாபமேதத்³ ஏதேஷு மா ஸ்தா²பய, இத்யுக்த்வா மஹாநித்³ராம்’ ப்ராப்நோத்|
