Acts 4
1 And as they spake vnto the people, the Priestes and the Captaine of the Temple, and the Sadduces came vpon them,
யஸ்மிந் ஸமயே பிதரயோஹநௌ லோகாந் உபதி³ஸ²தஸ்தஸ்மிந் ஸமயே யாஜகா மந்தி³ரஸ்ய ஸேநாபதய: ஸிதூ³கீக³ணஸ்²ச
2 Taking it grieuously that they taught the people, and preached in Iesus Name the resurrection from the dead.
தயோர் உபதே³ஸ²கரணே க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யோத்தா²நம் உபலக்ஷ்ய ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ம்ரு’தாநாம் உத்தா²நப்ரஸ்தாவே ச வ்யக்³ரா: ஸந்தஸ்தாவுபாக³மந்|
3 And they layde handes on them, and put them in holde, vntill the next day: for it was now euentide.
தௌ த்⁴ரு’த்வா தி³நாவஸாநகாரணாத் பரதி³நபர்ய்யநந்தம்’ ருத்³த்⁴வா ஸ்தா²பிதவந்த: |
4 Howbeit, many of them which heard the word, beleeued, and the number of the men was about fiue thousand.
ததா²பி யே லோகாஸ்தயோருபதே³ஸ²ம் அஸ்²ரு’ண்வந் தேஷாம்’ ப்ராயேண பஞ்சஸஹஸ்ராணி ஜநா வ்யஸ்²வஸந்|
5 And it came to passe on the morow, that their rulers, and Elders, and Scribes, were gathered together at Hierusalem,
பரே(அ)ஹநி அதி⁴பதய: ப்ராசீநா அத்⁴யாபகாஸ்²ச ஹாநநநாமா மஹாயாஜக:
6 And Annas the chiefe Priest, and Caiaphas, and Iohn, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the hie Priestes.
கியபா² யோஹந் ஸிகந்த³ர இத்யாத³யோ மஹாயாஜகஸ்ய ஜ்ஞாதய: ஸர்வ்வே யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரே மிலிதா: |
7 And whe they had set them before them, they asked, By what power, or in what Name haue ye done this?
அநந்தரம்’ ப்ரேரிதௌ மத்⁴யே ஸ்தா²பயித்வாப்ரு’ச்ச²ந் யுவாம்’ கயா ஸ²க்தயா வா கேந நாம்நா கர்ம்மாண்யேதாநி குருத²: ?
8 Then Peter ful of the holy Ghost, said vnto them, Ye rulers of the people, and Elders of Israel,
ததா³ பிதர: பவித்ரேணாத்மநா பரிபூர்ண: ஸந் ப்ரத்யவாதீ³த், ஹே லோகாநாம் அதி⁴பதிக³ண ஹே இஸ்ராயேலீயப்ராசீநா: ,
9 For as much as we this day are examined of the good deede done to the impotent man, to wit, by what meanes he is made whole,
ஏதஸ்ய து³ர்ப்³ப³லமாநுஷஸ்ய ஹிதம்’ யத் கர்ம்மாக்ரியத, அர்தா²த், ஸ யேந ப்ரகாரேண ஸ்வஸ்தோ²ப⁴வத் தச்சேத்³ அத்³யாவாம்’ ப்ரு’ச்ச²த²,
10 Be it knowen vnto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye haue crucified, whome God raised againe from the dead, euen by him doth this man stand here before you, whole.
தர்ஹி ஸர்வ்வ இஸ்ராயேலீயலோகா யூயம்’ ஜாநீத நாஸரதீயோ யோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்ட: க்ருஸே² யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரவித்⁴யத யஸ்²சேஸ்²வரேண ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தா²பித: , தஸ்ய நாம்நா ஜநோயம்’ ஸ்வஸ்த²: ஸந் யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸம்முகே² ப்ரோத்திஷ்ட²தி|
11 This is the stone cast aside of you builders which is become the head of the corner.
நிசேத்ரு’பி⁴ ர்யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரயம்’ ய: ப்ரஸ்தரோ(அ)வஜ்ஞாதோ(அ)ப⁴வத் ஸ ப்ரதா⁴நகோணஸ்ய ப்ரஸ்தரோ(அ)ப⁴வத்|
12 Neither is there saluation in any other: for among men there is giuen none other Name vnder heauen, whereby we must be saued.
தத்³பி⁴ந்நாத³பராத் கஸ்மாத³பி பரித்ராணம்’ ப⁴விதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி, யேந த்ராணம்’ ப்ராப்யேத பூ⁴மண்ட³லஸ்யலோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ கிமபி நாம நாஸ்தி|
13 Now when they sawe the boldnes of Peter and Iohn, and vnderstoode that they were vnlearned men and without knowledge, they marueiled, and knew them, that they had bin with Iesus:
ததா³ பிதரயோஹநோரேதாத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம் அக்ஷேப⁴தாம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தாவவித்³வாம்’ஸௌ நீசலோகாவிதி பு³த்³த்⁴வா ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம் அமந்யந்த தௌ ச யீஸோ²: ஸங்கி³நௌ ஜாதாவிதி ஜ்ஞாதும் அஸ²க்நுவந்|
14 And beholding also the man which was healed standing with them, they had nothing to say against it.
கிந்து தாப்⁴யாம்’ ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ தம்’ ஸ்வஸ்த²மாநுஷம்’ திஷ்ட²ந்தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தே காமப்யபராம் ஆபத்திம்’ கர்த்தம்’ நாஸ²க்நுந்|
15 Then they commanded them to goe aside out of the Council, and conferred among themselues,
ததா³ தே ஸபா⁴த: ஸ்தா²நாந்தரம்’ க³ந்தும்’ தாந் ஆஜ்ஞாப்ய ஸ்வயம்’ பரஸ்பரம் இதி மந்த்ரணாமகுர்வ்வந்
16 Saying, What shall we doe to these men? for surely a manifest signe is done by them, and it is openly knowen to all them that dwell in Hierusalem: and we cannot denie it.
தௌ மாநவௌ ப்ரதி கிம்’ கர்த்தவ்யம்’? தாவேகம்’ ப்ரஸித்³த⁴ம் ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ கர்ம்ம க்ரு’தவந்தௌ தத்³ யிரூஸா²லம்நிவாஸிநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ லோகாநாம்’ ஸமீபே ப்ராகாஸ²த தச்ச வயமபஹ்நோதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நும: |
17 But that it be noysed no farther among the people, let vs threaten and charge them, that they speake hencefoorth to no man in this Name.
கிந்து லோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யம் ஏதத்³ யதா² ந வ்யாப்நோதி தத³ர்த²ம்’ தௌ ப⁴யம்’ ப்ரத³ர்ஸ்²ய தேந நாம்நா கமபி மநுஷ்யம்’ நோபதி³ஸ²தம் இதி த்³ரு’ட⁴ம்’ நிஷேதா⁴ம: |
18 So they called them, and commanded them, that in no wise they should speake or teach in the Name of Iesus.
ததஸ்தே ப்ரேரிதாவாஹூய ஏததா³ஜ்ஞாபயந் இத: பரம்’ யீஸோ² ர்நாம்நா கதா³பி காமபி கதா²ம்’ மா கத²யதம்’ கிமபி நோபதி³ஸ²ஞ்ச|
19 But Peter and Iohn answered vnto them, and said, Whether it be right in the sight of God, to obey you rather then God, iudge ye.
தத: பிதரயோஹநௌ ப்ரத்யவத³தாம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாஜ்ஞாக்³ரஹணம்’ வா யுஷ்மாகம் ஆஜ்ஞாக்³ரஹணம் ஏதயோ ர்மத்⁴யே ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய கோ³சரே கிம்’ விஹிதம்’? யூயம்’ தஸ்ய விவேசநாம்’ குருத|
20 For we cannot but speake the things which we haue seene and heard.
வயம்’ யத்³ அபஸ்²யாம யத³ஸ்²ரு’ணும ச தந்ந ப்ரசாரயிஷ்யாம ஏதத் கதா³பி ப⁴விதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
21 So they threatened them, and let them goe, and found nothing how to punish them, because of the people: for all men praised God for that which was done.
யத³க⁴டத தத்³ த்³ரு’ஷ்டா ஸர்வ்வே லோகா ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய கு³ணாந் அந்வவத³ந் தஸ்மாத் லோகப⁴யாத் தௌ த³ண்ட³யிதும்’ கமப்யுபாயம்’ ந ப்ராப்ய தே புநரபி தர்ஜயித்வா தாவத்யஜந்|
22 For the man was aboue fourtie yeeres olde, on whome this miracle of healing was shewed.
யஸ்ய மாநுஷஸ்யைதத் ஸ்வாஸ்த்²யகரணம் ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ கர்ம்மாக்ரியத தஸ்ய வயஸ்²சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³வத்ஸரா வ்யதீதா: |
23 Then assoone as they were let goe, they came to their fellowes, and shewed all that the hie Priestes and Elders had said vnto them.
தத: பரம்’ தௌ விஸ்ரு’ஷ்டௌ ஸந்தௌ ஸ்வஸங்கி³நாம்’ ஸந்நிதி⁴ம்’ க³த்வா ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகை: ப்ராசீநலோகைஸ்²ச ப்ரோக்தா: ஸர்வ்வா: கதா² ஜ்ஞாபிதவந்தௌ|
24 And when they heard it, they lift vp their voyces to God with one accord, and said, O Lord, thou art the God which hast made the heaue, and the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them,
தச்ச்²ருத்வா ஸர்வ்வ ஏகசித்தீபூ⁴ய ஈஸ்²வரமுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ப்ரோச்சைரேதத் ப்ரார்த²யந்த, ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ க³க³ணப்ரு’தி²வீபயோதீ⁴நாம்’ தேஷு ச யத்³யத்³ ஆஸ்தே தேஷாம்’ ஸ்ரஷ்டேஸ்²வரஸ்த்வம்’|
25 Which by the mouth of thy seruant Dauid hast saide, Why did the Gentiles rage, and the people imagine vaine things?
த்வம்’ நிஜஸேவகேந தா³யூதா³ வாக்யமித³ம் உவசித², மநுஷ்யா அந்யதே³ஸீ²யா: குர்வ்வந்தி கலஹம்’ குத: | லோகா: ஸர்வ்வே கிமர்த²ம்’ வா சிந்தாம்’ குர்வ்வந்தி நிஷ்ப²லாம்’|
26 The Kings of the earth assembled, and the rulers came together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
பரமேஸ²ஸ்ய தேநைவாபி⁴ஷிக்தஸ்ய ஜநஸ்ய ச| விருத்³த⁴மபி⁴திஷ்ட²ந்தி ப்ரு’தி²வ்யா: பதய: குத: ||
27 For doutlesse, against thine holy Sonne Iesus, whome thou haddest anoynted, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel gathered themselues together,
ப²லதஸ்தவ ஹஸ்தேந மந்த்ரணயா ச பூர்வ்வ யத்³யத் ஸ்தி²ரீக்ரு’தம்’ தத்³ யதா² ஸித்³த⁴ம்’ ப⁴வதி தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்வம்’ யம் அதி²ஷிக்தவாந் ஸ ஏவ பவித்ரோ யீஸு²ஸ்தஸ்ய ப்ராதிகூல்யேந ஹேரோத்³ பந்தீயபீலாதோ
28 To doe whatsoeuer thine hand, and thy counsell had determined before to be done.
(அ)ந்யதே³ஸீ²யலோகா இஸ்ராயேல்லோகாஸ்²ச ஸர்வ்வ ஏதே ஸபா⁴யாம் அதிஷ்ட²ந்|
29 And nowe, O Lord, beholde their threatnings, and graunt vnto thy seruants with all boldnesse to speake thy word,
ஹே பரமேஸ்²வர அது⁴நா தேஷாம்’ தர்ஜநம்’ க³ர்ஜநஞ்ச ஸ்²ரு’ணு;
30 So that thou stretch forth thine hand, that healing, and signes, and wonders may be done by the Name of thine holy Sonne Iesus.
ததா² ஸ்வாஸ்த்²யகரணகர்ம்மணா தவ பா³ஹுப³லப்ரகாஸ²பூர்வ்வகம்’ தவ ஸேவகாந் நிர்ப⁴யேந தவ வாக்யம்’ ப்ரசாரயிதும்’ தவ பவித்ரபுத்ரஸ்ய யீஸோ² ர்நாம்நா ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யாண்யஸம்ப⁴வாநி ச கர்ம்மாணி கர்த்துஞ்சாஜ்ஞாபய|
31 And when as they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God boldely.
இத்த²ம்’ ப்ரார்த²நயா யத்ர ஸ்தா²நே தே ஸபா⁴யாம் ஆஸந் தத் ஸ்தா²நம்’ ப்ராகம்பத; தத: ஸர்வ்வே பவித்ரேணாத்மநா பரிபூர்ணா: ஸந்த ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய கதா²ம் அக்ஷோபே⁴ண ப்ராசாரயந்|
32 And the multitude of them that beleeued, were of one heart, and of one soule: neither any of them said, that any thing of that which he possessed, was his owne, but they had all thinges common.
அபரஞ்ச ப்ரத்யயகாரிலோகஸமூஹா ஏகமநஸ ஏகசித்தீபூ⁴ய ஸ்தி²தா: | தேஷாம்’ கேபி நிஜஸம்பத்திம்’ ஸ்வீயாம்’ நாஜாநந் கிந்து தேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வா: ஸம்பத்த்ய: ஸாதா⁴ரண்யேந ஸ்தி²தா: |
33 And with great power gaue the Apostles witnes of the resurrection of the Lord Iesus: and great grace was vpon them all.
அந்யச்ச ப்ரேரிதா மஹாஸ²க்திப்ரகாஸ²பூர்வ்வகம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸோ²ருத்தா²நே ஸாக்ஷ்யம் அத³து³: , தேஷு ஸர்வ்வேஷு மஹாநுக்³ரஹோ(அ)ப⁴வச்ச|
34 Neither was there any among them, that lacked: for as many as were possessours of landes or houses, solde them, and brought the price of the things that were solde,
தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே கஸ்யாபி த்³ரவ்யந்யூநதா நாப⁴வத்³ யதஸ்தேஷாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹபூ⁴ம்யாத்³யா யா: ஸம்பத்தய ஆஸந் தா விக்ரீய
35 And layde it downe at the Apostles feete, and it was distributed vnto euery man, according as he had neede.
தந்மூல்யமாநீய ப்ரேரிதாநாம்’ சரணேஷு தை: ஸ்தா²பிதம்’; தத: ப்ரத்யேகஸ²: ப்ரயோஜநாநுஸாரேண த³த்தமப⁴வத்|
36 Also Ioses which was called of the Apostles, Barnabas (that is by interpretation the sonne of consolation) being a Leuite, and of the countrey of Cyprus,
விஸே²ஷத: குப்ரோபத்³வீபீயோ யோஸிநாமகோ லேவிவம்’ஸ²ஜாத ஏகோ ஜநோ பூ⁴ம்யதி⁴காரீ, யம்’ ப்ரேரிதா ப³ர்ணப்³பா³ அர்தா²த் ஸாந்த்வநாதா³யக இத்யுக்த்வா ஸமாஹூயந்,
37 Where as he had land, solde it, and brought the money, and laid it downe at the Apostles feete.
ஸ ஜநோ நிஜபூ⁴மிம்’ விக்ரீய தந்மூல்யமாநீய ப்ரேரிதாநாம்’ சரணேஷு ஸ்தா²பிதவாந்|
