Acts 26
1 Then Agrippa sayd vnto Paul, Thou art permitted to speake for thy selfe. So Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himselfe.
தத ஆக்³ரிப்ப: பௌலம் அவாதீ³த், நிஜாம்’ கதா²ம்’ கத²யிதும்’ துப்⁴யம் அநுமதி ர்தீ³யதே| தஸ்மாத் பௌல: கரம்’ ப்ரஸார்ய்ய ஸ்வஸ்மிந் உத்தரம் அவாதீ³த்|
2 I thinke my selfe happy, King Agrippa, because I shall answere this day before thee of all the things whereof I am accused of the Iewes.
ஹே ஆக்³ரிப்பராஜ யத்காரணாத³ஹம்’ யிஹூதீ³யைரபவாதி³தோ (அ)ப⁴வம்’ தஸ்ய வ்ரு’த்தாந்தம் அத்³ய ப⁴வத: ஸாக்ஷாந் நிவேத³யிதுமநுமதோஹம் இத³ம்’ ஸ்வீயம்’ பரமம்’ பா⁴க்³யம்’ மந்யே;
3 Chiefly, because thou hast knowledge of all customes, and questions which are among the Iewes: wherefore I beseech thee, to heare me patiently.
யதோ யிஹூதீ³யலோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே யா யா ரீதி: ஸூக்ஷ்மவிசாராஸ்²ச ஸந்தி தேஷு ப⁴வாந் விஜ்ஞதம: ; அதஏவ ப்ரார்த²யே தை⁴ர்ய்யமவலம்ப்³ய மம நிவேத³நம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
4 As touching my life from my childhood, and what it was from the beginning among mine owne nation at Hierusalem, know all the Iewes,
அஹம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரே ஸ்வதே³ஸீ²யலோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே திஷ்ட²ந் ஆ யௌவநகாலாத்³ யத்³ரூபம் ஆசரிதவாந் தத்³ யிஹூதீ³யலோகா: ஸர்வ்வே வித³ந்தி|
5 Which knewe me heretofore, euen from my elders (if they would testifie) that after the most straite sect of our religion I liued a Pharise.
அஸ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வேப்⁴ய: ஸு²த்³த⁴தமம்’ யத் பி²ரூஸீ²யமதம்’ தத³வலம்பீ³ பூ⁴த்வாஹம்’ காலம்’ யாபிதவாந் யே ஜநா ஆ பா³ல்யகாலாந் மாம்’ ஜாநாந்தி தே ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ யதி³ த³தா³தி தர்ஹி தா³தும்’ ஸ²க்நுவந்தி|
6 And now I stand and am accused for the hope of the promise made of God vnto our fathers.
கிந்து ஹே ஆக்³ரிப்பராஜ ஈஸ்²வரோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாணாம்’ நிகடே யத்³ அங்கீ³க்ரு’தவாந் தஸ்ய ப்ரத்யாஸா²ஹேதோரஹம் இதா³நீம்’ விசாரஸ்தா²நே த³ண்டா³யமாநோஸ்மி|
7 Whereunto our twelue tribes instantly seruing God day and night, hope to come: for the which hopes sake, O King Agrippa, I am accused of the Iewes.
தஸ்யாங்கீ³காரஸ்ய ப²லம்’ ப்ராப்தும் அஸ்மாகம்’ த்³வாத³ஸ²வம்’ஸா² தி³வாநிஸ²ம்’ மஹாயத்நாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸேவநம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யாம்’ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ குர்வ்வந்தி தஸ்யா: ப்ரத்யாஸா²யா ஹேதோரஹம்’ யிஹூதீ³யைரபவாதி³தோ(அ)ப⁴வம்|
8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible vnto you, that God should raise againe the dead?
ஈஸ்²வரோ ம்ரு’தாந் உத்தா²பயிஷ்யதீதி வாக்யம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ நிகடே(அ)ஸம்ப⁴வம்’ குதோ ப⁴வேத்?
9 I also verely thought in my selfe, that I ought to doe many contrarie things against the Name of Iesus of Nazareth.
நாஸரதீயயீஸோ² ர்நாம்நோ விருத்³த⁴ம்’ நாநாப்ரகாரப்ரதிகூலாசரணம் உசிதம் இத்யஹம்’ மநஸி யதா²ர்த²ம்’ விஜ்ஞாய
10 Which thing I also did in Hierusalem: for many of the Saints I shut vp in prison, hauing receiued authoritie of the hie Priests, and when they were put to death, I gaue my sentence.
யிரூஸா²லமநக³ரே தத³கரவம்’ ப²லத: ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகஸ்ய நிகடாத் க்ஷமதாம்’ ப்ராப்ய ப³ஹூந் பவித்ரலோகாந் காராயாம்’ ப³த்³த⁴வாந் விஸே²ஷதஸ்தேஷாம்’ ஹநநஸமயே தேஷாம்’ விருத்³தா⁴ம்’ நிஜாம்’ ஸம்மதிம்’ ப்ரகாஸி²தவாந்|
11 And I punished them throughout all the Synagogues, and compelled them to blaspheme, and being more mad against them, I persecuted them, euen vnto strange cities.
வாரம்’ வாரம்’ ப⁴ஜநப⁴வநேஷு தேப்⁴யோ த³ண்ட³ம்’ ப்ரத³த்தவாந் ப³லாத் தம்’ த⁴ர்ம்மம்’ நிந்த³யிதவாம்’ஸ்²ச புநஸ்²ச தாந் ப்ரதி மஹாக்ரோதா⁴த்³ உந்மத்த: ஸந் விதே³ஸீ²யநக³ராணி யாவத் தாந் தாடி³தவாந்|
12 At which time, euen as I went to Damascus with authoritie, and commission from the hie Priests,
இத்த²ம்’ ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகஸ்ய ஸமீபாத் ஸ²க்திம் ஆஜ்ஞாபத்ரஞ்ச லப்³த்⁴வா த³ம்மேஷக்நக³ரம்’ க³தவாந்|
13 At midday, O King, I sawe in the way a light from heauen, passing the brightnes of the sunne, shine round about mee, and them which went with me.
ததா³ஹம்’ ஹே ராஜந் மார்க³மத்⁴யே மத்⁴யாஹ்நகாலே மம மதீ³யஸங்கி³நாம்’ லோகாநாஞ்ச சதஸ்ரு’ஷு தி³க்ஷு க³க³ணாத் ப்ரகாஸ²மாநாம்’ பா⁴ஸ்கரதோபி தேஜஸ்வதீம்’ தீ³ப்திம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந்|
14 So when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voyce speaking vnto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for thee to kicke against pricks.
தஸ்மாத்³ அஸ்மாஸு ஸர்வ்வேஷு பூ⁴மௌ பதிதேஷு ஸத்ஸு ஹே ஸௌ²ல ஹை ஸௌ²ல குதோ மாம்’ தாட³யஸி? கண்டகாநாம்’ முகே² பாதா³ஹநநம்’ தவ து³: ஸாத்⁴யம் இப்³ரீயபா⁴ஷயா க³தி³த ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏக: ஸ²ப்³தோ³ மயா ஸ்²ருத: |
15 Then I sayd, Who art thou, Lord? And he sayd, I am Iesus whom thou persecutest.
ததா³ஹம்’ ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந் ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ கோ ப⁴வாந்? தத: ஸ கதி²தவாந் யம்’ யீஸு²ம்’ த்வம்’ தாட³யஸி ஸோஹம்’,
16 But rise and stand vp on thy feete: for I haue appeared vnto thee for this purpose, to appoint thee a minister and a witnesse, both of the things which thou hast seene, and of the things in the which I will appeare vnto thee,
கிந்து ஸமுத்திஷ்ட² த்வம்’ யத்³ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந் இத: புநஞ்ச யத்³யத் த்வாம்’ த³ர்ஸ²யிஷ்யாமி தேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ கார்ய்யாணாம்’ த்வாம்’ ஸாக்ஷிணம்’ மம ஸேவகஞ்ச கர்த்தும் த³ர்ஸ²நம் அதா³ம்|
17 Deliuering thee from this people, and from the Gentiles, vnto whom now I send thee,
விஸே²ஷதோ யிஹூதீ³யலோகேப்⁴யோ பி⁴ந்நஜாதீயேப்⁴யஸ்²ச த்வாம்’ மநோநீதம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தேஷாம்’ யதா² பாபமோசநம்’ ப⁴வதி
18 To open their eyes, that they may turne from darknes to light, and from the power of Satan vnto God, that they may receiue forgiuenes of sinnes, and inheritance among them, which are sanctified by fayth in me.
யதா² தே மயி விஸ்²வஸ்ய பவித்ரீக்ரு’தாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே பா⁴க³ம்’ ப்ராப்நுவந்தி தத³பி⁴ப்ராயேண தேஷாம்’ ஜ்ஞாநசக்ஷூம்’ஷி ப்ரஸந்நாநி கர்த்தும்’ ததா²ந்த⁴காராத்³ தீ³ப்திம்’ ப்ரதி ஸை²தாநாதி⁴காராச்ச ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரதி மதீ: பராவர்த்தயிதும்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸமீபம்’ த்வாம்’ ப்ரேஷ்யாமி|
19 Wherefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient vnto the heauenly vision,
ஹே ஆக்³ரிப்பராஜ ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ஸ்வர்கீ³யப்ரத்யாதே³ஸ²ம்’ அக்³ராஹ்யம் அக்ரு’த்வாஹம்’
20 But shewed first vnto them of Damascus, and at Hierusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Iudea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turne to God, and doe workes worthy amendment of life.
ப்ரத²மதோ த³ம்மேஷக்நக³ரே ததோ யிரூஸா²லமி ஸர்வ்வஸ்மிந் யிஹூதீ³யதே³ஸே² அந்யேஷு தே³ஸே²ஷு ச யேந லோகா மதிம்’ பராவர்த்த்ய ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரதி பராவர்த்தயந்தே, மந: பராவர்த்தநயோக்³யாநி கர்ம்மாணி ச குர்வ்வந்தி தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம் உபதே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரசாரிதவாந்|
21 For this cause the Iewes caught me in the Temple, and went about to kill me.
ஏதத்காரணாத்³ யிஹூதீ³யா மத்⁴யேமந்தி³ரம்’ மாம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வா ஹந்தும் உத்³யதா: |
22 Neuertheles, I obteined helpe of God, and continue vnto this day, witnessing both to small and to great, saying none other things, then those which the Prophets and Moses did say should come,
ததா²பி க்²ரீஷ்டோ து³: க²ம்’ பு⁴க்த்வா ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ பூர்வ்வம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தா²ய நிஜதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸீ²யாநாஞ்ச ஸமீபே தீ³ப்திம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யிஷ்யதி
23 To wit, that Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light vnto this people, and to the Gentiles.
ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³க³ணோ மூஸாஸ்²ச பா⁴விகார்ய்யஸ்ய யதி³த³ம்’ ப்ரமாணம் அத³து³ரேதத்³ விநாந்யாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ந கத²யித்வா ஈஸ்²வராத்³ அநுக்³ரஹம்’ லப்³த்⁴வா மஹதாம்’ க்ஷுத்³ராணாஞ்ச ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸமீபே ப்ரமாணம்’ த³த்த்வாத்³ய யாவத் திஷ்டா²மி|
24 And as he thus answered for himselfe, Festus said with a loude voyce, Paul, thou art besides thy selfe: much learning doeth make thee mad.
தஸ்யமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ நிஸ²ம்ய பீ²ஷ்ட உச்சை: ஸ்வரேண கதி²தவாந் ஹே பௌல த்வம் உந்மத்தோஸி ப³ஹுவித்³யாப்⁴யாஸேந த்வம்’ ஹதஜ்ஞாநோ ஜாத: |
25 But he said, I am not mad, O noble Festus, but I speake the wordes of trueth and sobernes.
ஸ உக்தவாந் ஹே மஹாமஹிம பீ²ஷ்ட நாஹம் உந்மத்த: கிந்து ஸத்யம்’ விவேசநீயஞ்ச வாக்யம்’ ப்ரஸ்தௌமி|
26 For the King knoweth of these things, before whom also I speake boldly: for I am perswaded that none of these things are hidden from him: for this thing was not done in a corner.
யஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ அக்ஷோப⁴: ஸந் கதா²ம்’ கத²யாமி ஸ ராஜா தத்³வ்ரு’த்தாந்தம்’ ஜாநாதி தஸ்ய ஸமீபே கிமபி கு³ப்தம்’ நேதி மயா நிஸ்²சிதம்’ பு³த்⁴யதே யதஸ்தத்³ விஜநே ந க்ரு’தம்’|
27 O King Agrippa, beleeuest thou the Prophets? I know that thou beleeuest.
ஹே ஆக்³ரிப்பராஜ ப⁴வாந் கிம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³க³ணோக்தாநி வாக்யாநி ப்ரத்யேதி? ப⁴வாந் ப்ரத்யேதி தத³ஹம்’ ஜாநாமி|
28 Then Agrippa said vnto Paul, Almost thou perswadest me to become a Christian.
தத ஆக்³ரிப்ப: பௌலம் அபி⁴ஹிதவாந் த்வம்’ ப்ரவ்ரு’த்திம்’ ஜநயித்வா ப்ராயேண மாமபி க்²ரீஷ்டீயம்’ கரோஷி|
29 Then Paul sayd, I would to God that not onely thou, but also all that heare me to day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
தத: ஸோ(அ)வாதீ³த் ப⁴வாந் யே யே லோகாஸ்²ச மம கதா²ம் அத்³ய ஸ்²ரு’ண்வந்தி ப்ராயேண இதி நஹி கிந்த்வேதத் ஸ்²ரு’ங்க²லப³ந்த⁴நம்’ விநா ஸர்வ்வதா² தே ஸர்வ்வே மாத்³ரு’ஸா² ப⁴வந்த்விதீஸ்²வஸ்ய ஸமீபே ப்ரார்த²யே(அ)ஹம்|
30 And when he had thus spoken, the King rose vp, and the gouernour, and Bernice, and they that sate with them.
ஏதஸ்யாம்’ கதா²யாம்’ கதி²தாயாம்’ ஸ ராஜா ஸோ(அ)தி⁴பதி ர்ப³ர்ணீகீ ஸபா⁴ஸ்தா² லோகாஸ்²ச தஸ்மாத்³ உத்தா²ய
31 And when they were gone apart, they talked betweene themselues, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death, nor of bonds.
கோ³பநே பரஸ்பரம்’ விவிச்ய கதி²தவந்த ஏஷ ஜநோ ப³ந்த⁴நார்ஹம்’ ப்ராணஹநநார்ஹம்’ வா கிமபி கர்ம்ம நாகரோத்|
32 Then sayd Agrippa vnto Festus, This man might haue bene loosed, if hee had not appealed vnto Cesar.
தத ஆக்³ரிப்ப: பீ²ஷ்டம் அவத³த், யத்³யேஷ மாநுஷ: கைஸரஸ்ய நிகடே விசாரிதோ ப⁴விதும்’ ந ப்ரார்த²யிஷ்யத் தர்ஹி முக்தோ ப⁴விதும் அஸ²க்ஷ்யத்|
