Acts 20
1 Nowe after the tumult was appeased, Paul called the disciples vnto him, and embraced them, and departed to goe into Macedonia.

2 And when hee had gone through those parts, and had exhorted them with many words, he came into Grecia.

3 And hauing taried there three moneths, because the Iewes layde waite for him, as hee was about to saile into Syria, hee purposed to returne through Macedonia.
Human siya nagpabilin didto sulod sa tulo ka bulan, ang tinagong laraw nga gihimo batok kaniya pinaagi sa mga Judio sa hapit na siya maglayag padulong sa Siria, busa nakahukom siya sa pagbalik agi sa Macedonia.
4 And there accompanied him into Asia, Sopater of Berea, and of them of Thessalonica, Aristarchus, and Secundus, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus, and of them of Asia, Tychicus, and Trophimus.
Giubanan siya hangtod sa Asya nila ni Sopater nga taga-Berea, ang anak ni Pyrrhus; si Aristarchus ug Secundus nga mga magtutuo gikan saTesalonica; si Gaius nga taga-Derbe; si Timoteo; ug Tychicus ug si Trophimus nga gikan sa Asya.
5 These went before, and taried vs at Troas.
Apan kining mga tawhana miuna kanamo ug nagahulat kanamo sa Troas.
6 And we sailed forth from Philippi, after the dayes of vnleauened bread, and came vnto them to Troas in fiue dayes, where we abode seuen dayes.
Human sa adlaw sa tinapay nga walay patubo milayag kami gikan sa Filipos, ug sa lima ka adlaw miabot kami kanila sa Troas. Didto nagpabilin kami sulod sa pito ka mga adlaw.
7 And the first day of the weeke, the disciples being come together to breake bread, Paul preached vnto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued the preaching vnto midnight.
Sa unang adlaw sa semana, sa nagkatigom na kami aron sa pagpikaspikas sa tinapay, si Pablo nagsangyaw sa mga magtutuo. Naglaraw siya nga mobiya pagkasunod adlaw, busa nagpadayon siya sa pagsangyaw hangtod sa pagkatungang gabii.
8 And there were many lightes in an vpper chamber, where they were gathered together.
Adunay daghan nga lampara sa ibabaw nga bahin sa lawak diin kami nagkatigom.
9 And there sate in a windowe a certaine yong man, named Eutychus, fallen into a dead sleepe: and as Paul was long preaching, hee ouercome with sleepe, fell downe from the thirde loft, and was taken vp dead.
Diha sa bintana may naglingkod nga usa ka ulitawo nga ginganlan ug Eutychus, nga giabot sa halalom nga paghikatulog. Kay taas na kaayo ang pagsangyaw ni Pablo, kining ulitawo, nga nahinanok pa gihapon, nahulog gikan sa ikatulong andana ug gisakwat nga patay na.
10 But Paul went downe, and layde himselfe vpon him, and embraced him, saying, Trouble not your selues: for his life is in him.
Apan mikanaog si Pablo, mihapa siya kaniya, ug migakos kaniya. Unya miingon siya, “Ayaw kamo kaguol, kay siya buhi pa.”
11 Then when Paul was come vp againe, and had broken bread, and eaten, hauing spoken a long while till the dawning of the day, hee so departed.
Unya misaka siya balik sa taas ug gipikaspikas ang tinapay ug nangaon. Human sa pagpakigsulti kanila ug dugay hangtod sa kaadlawon, mibiya na siya.
12 And they brought the boye aliue, and they were not a litle comforted.
Gidala nila pagbalik ang lalaki nga buhi ug nahupay pag-ayo.
13 Then we went before to shippe, and sailed vnto the citie Assos, that wee might receiue Paul there: for so had hee appointed, and would himselfe goe afoote.
Kami sa among kaugalingon milakaw pag-una kang Pablo ngadto sa sakayan ug milayag padulong sa Asos, sa tuyo nga pasakyon namo si Pablo. Mao kini ang gitinguha niya sa iyang kaugalingon nga pagabuhaton, tungod kay gituyo niya nga didto agi sa yuta.
14 Now when he was come vnto vs to Assos, and we had receiued him, we came to Mitylenes.
Sa nasugatan na namo siya sa Asos, gipasakay na namo siya sa sakayan ug miadto sa Mitylene.
15 And wee sailed thence, and came the next day ouer against Chios, and the next day we arriued at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium: the next day we came to Miletum.
Unya milayag kami gikan didto ug miabot pagkasunod adlaw atbang sa isla sa Chios. Sa pagkasunod adlaw midunggo kami sa isla sa Samos, ug pagkaugma midunggo kami sa siyudad sa Miletus.
16 For Paul had determined to saile by Ephesus, because hee woulde not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted to be, if hee could possible, at Hierusalem, at the day of Pentecost.
Kay nakahukom man si Pablo nga maglayag agi sa Efeso, aron dili siya malangan sa Asya; kay nagdali siya nga moabot sa Jerusalem sa adlaw sa Pentecostes, kung kining tanan mamahimo na niyang buhaton sa ingon.
17 Wherefore from Miletum, hee sent to Ephesus, and called the Elders of the Church.
Gikan sa Miletus nagpadala siya ug mga tawo ngadto sa Efeso ug gipatawag niya ang mga kadagkoan sa simbahan.
18 Who when they were come to him, hee said vnto them, Ye know from the first day that I came into Asia, after what maner I haue bene with you at all seasons,
Sa dihang miabot na sila ngadto kaniya, miingon siya kanila, “Nasayod na kamo sa inyong kaugalingon, nga sukad sa unang adlaw sa pagtunob sa akong tiil sa Asya, kung sa unsang paagi ako kanunay naggahin ug panahon alang kaninyo.
19 Seruing the Lord with all modestie, and with many teares, and tentations, which came vnto me by the layings awaite of the Iewes,
Nagpadayon ako pag-alagad sa Ginoo uban sa pagpa-ubos sa hunahuna ug inubanan sa mga luha, ug sa mga pag-antos nga nahitabo kanako tungod sa mga tinagong laraw sa mga Judio.
20 And how I kept backe nothing that was profitable, but haue shewed you, and taught you openly and throughout euery house,
Nasayod kamo nga wala akoy gilikayan sa pagpadayag kaninyo sa bisan unsa nga mapuslanon, ug giunsa ko kamo pagtudlo sa dayag ug miadto usab sa kabalayan.
21 Witnessing both to the Iewes, and to the Grecians the repentance towarde God, and faith toward our Lord Iesus Christ.
Nasayod kamo nga sa kanunay nagpahimangno ako kaninyong mga Judio ug mga Griyego mahitungod sa paghinulsol ngadto sa Dios ug sa pagtuo sa atong Ginoong Jesus.
22 And nowe beholde, I goe bound in the Spirit vnto Hierusalem, and know not what things shall come vnto me there,
Ug karon, tan-awa, moadto ako sa Jerusalem nga inagda sa Balaang Espiritu, nga walay kasayoran sa bisan unsang mahitabo kanako didto,
23 Saue that ye holy Ghost witnesseth in euery citie, saying, that bondes and afflictions abide me.
gawas sa gipamatuod sa Balaang Espiritu kanako sa matag siyudad ug nagaingon nga ang mga gapos ug pag-antos naghulat na kanako.
24 But I passe not at all, neither is my life deare vnto my selfe, so that I may fulfill my course with ioye, and the ministration which I haue receiued of the Lord Iesus, to testifie the Gospell of the grace of God.
Apan wala nako hunahunaa ang akong kinabuhi sa kung unsang paagi nga mas bililhon pa sa akong kaugalingon, aron mahingpit na ang akong lumba ug ang pag-alagad nga akong nadawat gikan kang Ginoong Jesus, sa pagsaksi sa ebanghelyo diha sa grasya sa Dios.
25 And now behold, I know that henceforth ye all, through whome I haue gone preaching the kingdome of God, shall see my face no more.
Ug karon, tan-awa, nasayran ko nga kamong tanan, nga gisuroyan ko taliwala sa akong pagsangyaw mahitungod sa gingharian, dili na makakita sa akong panagway.
26 Wherefore I take you to recorde this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
Busa gipamatuod-an ko kaninyo niining adlawa, nga ako hinlo sa dugo ni bisan kinsang tawo.
27 For I haue kept nothing backe, but haue shewed you all the counsell of God.
Kay wala ako nagpugong sa pagpadayag kaninyo sa kinatibuk-ang kabubut-on sa Dios.
28 Take heede therefore vnto your selues, and to all the flocke, whereof the holy Ghost hath made you Ouerseers, to feede the Church of God, which hee hath purchased with that his owne blood.
Busa pag-amping kamo sa inyong kaugalingon, ug sa tanang panon nga kanila ang Balaang Espiritu naghimo kaninyong magtatan-aw, aron nga bantayan ninyo ang katilingban sa Ginoo nga gitubos niya pinaagi sa kaugalingon niyang dugo.
29 For I knowe this, that after my departing shall grieuous wolues enter in among you, not sparing the flocke.
Nasayod ako nga human sa akong pagbiya, magasulod taliwala kaninyo ang mga mapintas nga lobo, ug dili kaloy-an ang panon.
30 Moreouer of your owne selues shall men arise speaking peruerse thinges, to drawe disciples after them.
Nasayod ako nga bisan gani taliwala kaninyo ang pipila sa mga tawo moadto ug mosulti sa mga butang nga mangil-ad, aron sa pagpahimulag sa mga disipulo sa pagsunod kanila.
31 Therefore watche, and remember, that by the space of three yeres I ceased not to warne euery one, both night and day with teares.
Busa pagtukaw kamo. Hinumdomi nga sulod sa tulo ka tuig wala ako maghunong sa pagpahimangno sa matag usa kaninyo inubanan sa luha sa adlaw ug gabii.
32 And nowe brethren, I commend you to God, and to the worde of his grace, which is able to build further, and to giue you an inheritance, among all them, which are sanctified.
Ug karon gipiyal ko na kamo sa Dios, ug ngadto sa pulong sa iyang grasya, nga mao ang makahimo kaninyo sa pagpa-uswag ug maghatag kaninyo sa kabilin taliwala sa tanang gilain.
33 I haue coueted no mans siluer, nor gold, nor apparell.
Wala ako maibog sa tawong may plata, bulawan, o bisti.
34 Yea, ye knowe, that these handes haue ministred vnto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
Kamo sa inyong kaugalingon nasayod nga kining mga kamot nagsangkap sa akong kaugalingon nga mga panginahanglan ug niadtong kauban nako.
35 I haue shewed you all things, howe that so labouring, ye ought to support the weake, and to remember the wordes of the Lord Iesus, howe that hee saide, It is a blessed thing to giue, rather then to receiue.
Sa tanan nga mga butang naghatag ako kaninyo ug panig-ingnan kung unsaon ninyo pagtabang ang huyang pinaagi sa pagpamuhat, ug kung unsaon ninyo paghinumdom ang mga pulong sa Ginoong Jesus, mga pulong nga siya mismo miingon: “Labing bulahan ang paghatag kay sa pagdawat.”
36 And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled downe, and prayed with them all.
Human siya nagsulti niining paagiha, miluhod siya ug nag-ampo uban kanilang tanan.
37 Then they wept all abundantly, and fell on Pauls necke, and kissed him,
Labihan ang ilang paghilak ug migakos kang Pablo ug gihagkan siya.
38 Being chiefly sorie for the words which he spake, That they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him vnto the shippe.
Naguol gayod sila tungod sa iyang gipamulong, nga sila dili na makakita sa iyang panagway pag-usab. Unya giubanan nila siya hangtod sa sakayan.
