Acts 2
1 And when the day of Pentecost was come, they were al with one accord in one place.
A když přišel den padesátý, byli všickni jednomyslně spolu.
2 And suddenly there came a sounde from heauen, as of a russhing and mightie winde, and it filled all the house where they sate.
I stal se rychle zvuk s nebe, jako valícího se větru prudkého, a naplnil všecken dům, kdež seděli.
3 And there appeared vnto them clouen tongues, like fire, and it sate vpon eche of them.
I ukázali se jim rozdělení jazykové jako oheň, kterýž posadil se na každém z nich.
4 And they were all filled with the holy Ghost, and began to speake with other tongues, as the Spirit gaue them vtterance.
I naplněni jsou všickni Duchem svatým, a počali mluviti jinými jazyky, jakž ten Duch dával jim vymlouvati.
5 And there were dwelling at Hierusalem Iewes, men that feared God, of euery nation vnder heauen.
Byli pak v Jeruzalémě přebývající Židé, muži nábožní, ze všelikého národu, kterýž pod nebem jest.
6 Nowe when this was noised, the multitude came together and were astonied, because that euery man heard them speake his owne language.
A když se stal ten hlas, sešlo se množství, a užasli se, že je slyšel jeden každý, ani mluví přirozeným jazykem jeho.
7 And they wondered al, and marueiled, saying among themselues, Beholde, are not all these which speake, of Galile?
I děsili se všickni, a divili, řkouce jedni k druhým: Aj, zdaliž nejsou tito všickni, kteříž mluví, Galilejští?
8 How then heare we euery man our owne language, wherein we were borne?
A kterak my slyšíme jeden každý jazyk náš, v kterémž jsme se zrodili?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the inhabitants of Mesopotamia, and of Iudea, and of Cappadocia, of Pontus, and Asia,
Partští, a Médští, a Elamitští, a kteříž přebýváme v Mezopotamii, v Židovstvu a v Kappadocii, v Pontu a v Azii,
10 And of Phrygia, and Pamphylia, of Egypt, and of the partes of Libya, which is beside Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, and Iewes, and Proselytes,
V Frygii a v Pamfylii, v Egyptě a v krajinách Libye, kteráž jest vedlé Cyrénu, a příchozí Římané, Židé, i v nově na víru obrácení,
11 Creetes, and Arabians: wee hearde them speake in our owne tongues the wonderful works of God.
Kretští i Arabští, slyšíme je, ani mluví jazyky našimi veliké věci Boží.
12 They were all then amased, and douted, saying one to another, What may this be?
I děsili se všickni a divili, jeden k druhému řkouce: I což toto bude?
13 And others mocked, and saide, They are full of newe wine.
Jiní pak posmívajíce se, pravili: Mstem se zpili tito.
14 But Peter standing with ye Eleuen, lift vp his voice, and said vnto them, Ye men of Iudea, and ye all that inhabite Hierusalem, be this knowen vnto you, and hearken vnto my woordes.
A stoje Petr s jedenácti, pozdvihl hlasu svého, a promluvil k nim: Muži Židé, a všickni, kteříž bydlíte v Jeruzalémě, toto vám známo buď, a ušima pozorujte slov mých.
15 For these are not drunken, as yee suppose, since it is but the third houre of the day.
Jistě nejsou tito, jakž vy se domníváte, zpilí, poněvadž jest teprv třetí hodina na den.
16 But this is that, which was spoken by the Prophet Ioel,
Ale totoť jest, což jest předpovědíno skrze proroka Joele:
17 And it shalbe in the last daies, saith God, I wil powre out of my Spirite vpon al flesh, and your sonnes, and your daughters shall prophecie, and your yong men shall see visions, and your old men shall dreame dreames.
A budeť v posledních dnech, (dí Bůh, ) vyleji z Ducha svého na všeliké tělo, a prorokovati budou synové vaši, i dcery vaše, a mládenci vaši vidění vídati budou, a starci vaši sny míti budou.
18 And on my seruauntes, and on mine handmaides I will powre out of my Spirite in those daies, and they shall prophecie.
A zajisté na služebníky a na služebnice své v těch dnech vyleji z Ducha svého, a budou prorokovati.
19 And I wil shew wonders in heauen aboue, and tokens in the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and the vapour of smoke.
A ukáži zázraky na nebi svrchu, a znamení na zemi dole, krev a oheň a páru dymovou.
20 The Sunne shalbe turned into darkenesse, and the moone into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come.
Slunce obrátí se v temnost, a měsíc v krev, prvé než přijde ten den Páně veliký a zjevný.
21 And it shalbe, that whosoeuer shall call on the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued.
A staneť se, že každý, kdožkoli vzýval by jméno Páně, spasen bude.
22 Yee men of Israel, heare these woordes, JESUS of Nazareth, a man approued of God among you with great workes, and wonders, and signes, which God did by him in the middes of you, as yee your selues also knowe:
Muži Izraelští, slyšte slova tato: Ježíše toho Nazaretského, muže od Boha zveličeného mezi vámi mocmi a zázraky a znameními, kteréž činil skrze něho Bůh u prostřed vás, jakož i vy sami víte,
23 Him, I say, being deliuered by the determinate counsell, and foreknowledge of God, after you had taken, with wicked handes you haue crucified and slaine.
Toho vydaného z uložené rady a předzvědění Božího vzavše, a skrze ruce nešlechetných ukřižovavše, zamordovali jste.
24 Whome God hath raised vp, and loosed the sorrowes of death, because it was vnpossible that he should be holden of it.
Jehož Bůh vzkřísil, zprostiv bolestí smrti, jakož nebylo možné jemu držánu býti od ní.
25 For Dauid sayeth concerning him, I beheld the Lord alwaies before me: for hee is at my right hand, that I should not be shaken.
Nebo David praví o něm: Spatřoval jsem Pána před sebou vždycky; nebo jest mi po pravici, abych se nepohnul.
26 Therefore did mine heart reioyce, and my tongue was glad, and moreouer also my flesh shall rest in hope,
Protož rozveselilo se srdce mé, a zplésal jazyk můj, nýbrž i tělo mé odpočine v naději.
27 Because thou wilt not leaue my soule in graue, neither wilt suffer thine Holy one to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
Nebo nenecháš duše mé v pekle, aniž dáš viděti svatému svému porušení. (Hadēs g86)
28 Thou hast shewed me the waies of life, and shalt make me full of ioy with thy countenance.
Známé jsi mi učinil cesty života, a naplníš mne utěšením před oblíčejem svým.
29 Men and brethren, I may boldly speake vnto you of the Patriarke Dauid, that hee is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre remaineth with vs vnto this day.
Muži bratří, sluší směle mluviti k vám o patriarchovi Davidovi, že i umřel, i pochován jest, i hrob jeho jest u nás až do dnešního dne.
30 Therefore, seeing hee was a Prophet, and knewe that God had sworne with an othe to him, that of the fruite of his loynes hee woulde raise vp Christ concerning the flesh, to set him vpon his throne,
Prorok tedy byv, a věděv, že přísahou zavázal se jemu Bůh, že z plodu ledví jeho podlé těla vzbudí Krista, a posadí na stolici jeho,
31 Hee knowing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soule shoulde not bee left in graue, neither his flesh shoulde see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
To předzvěděv, mluvil o vzkříšení Kristovu, že není opuštěna duše jeho v pekle, ani tělo jeho vidělo porušení. (Hadēs g86)
32 This Iesus hath God raised vp, whereof we all are witnesses.
Toho Ježíše vzkřísil Bůh, jehož my všickni svědkové jsme.
33 Since then that he by the right hande of God hath bene exalted, and hath receiued of his Father the promise of the holy Ghost, hee hath shed foorth this which yee nowe see and heare.
Protož pravicí Boží jsa zvýšen, a vzav zaslíbení Ducha svatého od Otce, vylil to, což vy nyní vidíte a slyšíte.
34 For Dauid is not ascended into heauen, but he sayth, The Lord sayd to my Lord, Sit at my right hande,
Neboť David nevstoupil v nebe, ale on praví: Řekl Pán Pánu mému: Seď na pravici mé,
35 Vntill I make thine enemies thy footestoole.
Dokudž nepoložím nepřátel tvých za podnože noh tvých.
36 Therefore, let all the house of Israel know for a suretie, that God hath made him both Lord, and Christ, this Iesus, I say, whome yee haue crucified.
Věziž tedy jistotně všecken dům Izraelský, žeť Bůh i Pánem ho učinil i Kristem, toho Ježíše, kteréhož jste vy ukřižovali.
37 Now when they heard it, they were pricked in their heartes, and said vnto Peter and the other Apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we doe?
To slyševše, zkormouceni jsou v srdci, a řekli Petrovi a jiným apoštolům: Což máme činiti, muži bratří?
38 Then Peter said vnto them, Amend your liues, and bee baptized euery one of you in the Name of Iesus Christ for the remission of sinnes: and ye shall receiue the gift of the holy Ghost.
Tedy Petr řekl jim: Pokání čiňte, a pokřti se jeden každý z vás ve jménu Ježíše Krista na odpuštění hříchů, a přijmete dar Ducha svatého.
39 For the promise is made vnto you, and to your children, and to all that are a farre off, euen as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Vámť zajisté zaslíbení to svědčí a synům vašim, i všechněm, kteříž daleko jsou, kterýchžkoli povolal by Pán Bůh náš.
40 And with many other words he besought and exhorted them, saying, Saue your selues from this froward generation.
A jinými slovy mnohými osvědčoval a napomínal, řka: Oddělte se od pokolení toho zlého.
41 Then they that gladly receiued his word, were baptized: and the same day there were added to the Church about three thousand soules.
Tedy ti, kteříž ochotně přijali slova jeho, pokřtěni jsou, a připojilo se v ten den duší okolo tří tisíců.
42 And they continued in the Apostles doctrine, and fellowship, and breaking of bread, and prayers.
I zůstávali v učení apoštolském, a v společnosti, a v lámání chleba, a na modlitbách.
43 And feare came vpon euery soule: and many wonders and signes were done by ye Apostles.
I přišla na všelikou duši bázeň, a mnozí divové a zázrakové dáli se skrze apoštoly.
44 And all that beleeued, were in one place, and had all things common.
Všickni pak věřící byli pospolu, a měli všecky věci obecné.
45 And they sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all me, as euery one had need.
A prodávali vládařství a statky, a dělili mezi všecky, jakž komu potřebí bylo.
46 And they continued dayly with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread at home, did eate their meate together with gladnesse and singlenesse of heart,
A na každý den trvajíce jednomyslně v chrámě, a lámajíce po domích chléb, přijímali pokrm s potěšením a sprostností srdce,
47 Praysing God, and had fauour with all the people: and the Lord added to the Church from day to day, such as should be saued.
Chválíce Boha, a milost majíce u všeho lidu. Pán pak přidával církvi na každý den těch, kteříž by spaseni byli.
