Acts 13
1 There were also in the Church that was at Antiochia, certaine Prophets and teachers, as Barnabas, and Simeon called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manahen (which had bin brought vp with Herod the Tetrarche) and Saul.
௧அந்தியோகியா பட்டணத்திலுள்ள சபையிலே பர்னபாவும், நீகர் என்னப்பட்ட சிமியோனும், சிரேனே ஊரானாகிய லூகியும், காற்பங்கு தேசத்தின் அதிபதியாகிய ஏரோதுடன் வளர்க்கப்பட்ட மனாயீனும், சவுலும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளாகவும் போதகர்களாகவும் இருந்தார்கள்.
2 Nowe as they ministred to the Lord, and fasted, the holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the worke whereunto I haue called them.
௨அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்து, உபவாசித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபோது: பர்னபாவையும் சவுலையும் நான் அழைத்த ஊழியத்துக்காக அவர்களைப் பிரித்துவிடுங்கள் என்று பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் உரைத்தார்.
3 Then fasted they and prayed, and layde their hands on them, and let them goe.
௩அப்பொழுது உபவாசித்து ஜெபம்பண்ணி, அவர்கள்மேல் கரங்களை வைத்து, அவர்களை அனுப்பினார்கள்.
4 And they, after they were sent foorth of the holy Ghost, came downe vnto Seleucia, and from thence they sayled to Cyprus.
௪அப்படியே அவர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் அனுப்பப்பட்டு செலூக்கியா பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்து, கப்பல் ஏறி, அங்கிருந்து சீப்புருதீவிற்குப் போனார்கள்.
5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the worde of God in the Synagogues of the Iewes: and they had also Iohn to their minister.
௫சாலமி பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்தபோது அவர்கள் யூதர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் தேவவசனத்தைப் போதித்தார்கள். யோவானும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவிக்காரனாக இருந்தான்.
6 So when they had gone throughout the yle vnto Paphus, they found a certaine sorcerer, a false prophet, being a Iewe, named Bariesus,
௬அவர்கள் பாப்போ பட்டணம்வரைக்கும் தீவைக் கடந்துவந்தபோது, பர்யேசு என்னும் பெயர்கொண்ட மாயவித்தைக்காரனும் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசியுமான ஒரு யூதனைப் பார்த்தார்கள்.
7 Which was with the Deputie Sergius Paulus, a prudent man. He called vnto him Barnabas and Saul, and desired to heare the woorde of God.
௭அவன் விவேகமுள்ள மனிதனாகிய செர்கியுபவுல் என்னும் அதிபதியோடு இருந்தான். அந்த அதிபதி பர்னபாவையும் சவுலையும் அழைத்து, அவர்களிடத்தில் தேவவசனத்தைக் கேட்க ஆசையாக இருந்தான்.
8 But Elymas, ye sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstoode them, and sought to turne away the Deputie from the faith.
௮மாயவித்தைக்காரன் என்று அர்த்தங்கொள்ளும் பெயரையுடைய எலிமா என்பவன், அதிபதியை இயேசுவை விசுவாசிக்காமல் திசைதிரும்பும்படி செய்ய, அவர்களோடு எதிர்த்து நின்றான்.
9 Then Saul (which also is called Paul) being full of the holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
௯அப்பொழுது பவுல் என்று சொல்லப்பட்ட சவுல் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் நிறைந்தவனாக அவனை உற்றுப்பார்த்து:
10 And sayde, O full of all subtiltie and all mischiefe, the childe of the deuill, and enemie of all righteousnesse, wilt thou not cease to peruert the straight waies of the Lord?
௧0எல்லாக் கபடமும் அக்கிரமமும் நிறைந்தவனே, பிசாசின் மகனே, உண்மைக்கெல்லாம் பகைவனே, கர்த்தருடைய செம்மையான வழிகளைப் புரட்டுவதை நிறுத்தமாட்டாயோ?
11 Nowe therefore behold, the hand of the Lord is vpon thee, and thou shalt be blinde, and not see the sunne for a season. And immediately there fel on him a mist and a darknes; and he went about, seeking some to leade him by the hand.
௧௧இதோ, இப்பொழுதே கர்த்தருடைய கை உன்மேல் வந்திருக்கிறது, கொஞ்சகாலம் நீ சூரியனைப் பார்க்காமல் குருடனாக இருப்பாய் என்றான். உடனே அவன் தன் கண்பார்வையை இழந்தான்; அவன் தடுமாறி, தனக்கு கை கொடுக்கிறவர்களைத் தேடினான்.
12 Then the Deputie when he sawe what was done, beleeued, and was astonied at the doctrine of the Lord.
௧௨அப்பொழுது அதிபதி நடந்தவைகளைப் பார்த்து, கர்த்தருடைய உபதேசத்தைக்குறித்து அதிசயப்பட்டு, விசுவாசித்தான்.
13 Nowe when Paul and they that were with him were departed by shippe from Paphus, they came to Perga a citie of Pamphylia: then Iohn departed from them, and returned to Hierusalem.
௧௩பின்பு பவுலும் அவனைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களும் பாப்போ பட்டணத்தைவிட்டுக் கப்பல் ஏறிப் பம்பிலியாவில் இருக்கும் பெர்கே பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள். யோவான் அவர்களைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்து, எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போனான்.
14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antiochia a citie of Pisidia, and went into the Synagogue on ye Sabbath day, and sate downe.
௧௪அவர்கள் பெர்கே பட்டணத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, பிசீதியா நாட்டிலுள்ள அந்தியோகியாவிற்கு வந்து, ஓய்வுநாளிலே ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குச் சென்று, உட்கார்ந்தார்கள்.
15 And after the lecture of the Law and Prophets, the rulers of ye Synagogue sent vnto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye haue any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
௧௫மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாண புத்தகமும் தீர்க்கதரிசன புத்தகமும் படித்துமுடிந்தபின்பு: சகோதரர்களே, நீங்கள் மக்களுக்குப் புத்திச்சொல்ல விரும்பினால் சொல்லுங்கள் என்று சொல்லச்சொல்லி ஜெப ஆலயத்தலைவர்கள் அவர்களுக்கு ஆள் அனுப்பினார்கள்.
16 Then Paul stoode vp and beckened with the hand, and sayde, Men of Israel, and yee that feare God, hearken.
௧௬அப்பொழுது பவுல் எழுந்திருந்து, கையசைத்து: இஸ்ரவேலர்களே, தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிற மக்களே, கேளுங்கள்.
17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt in the land of Egypt, and with an high arme brought them out thereof.
௧௭இஸ்ரவேலராகிய இந்த மக்களுடைய தேவன் நம்முடைய முற்பிதாக்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு எகிப்து தேசத்தில் அவர்கள் பரதேசிகளாக வாழ்ந்தபோது அவர்களை உயர்த்தி, தமது வல்லமையுள்ள கரத்தினால் அங்கிருந்து அவர்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணி,
18 And about the time of fourtie yeeres, suffered he their maners in the wildernesse.
௧௮நாற்பது வருடங்களாக வனாந்திரத்தில் அவர்களை ஆதரித்து,
19 And he destroied seuen nations in the land of Chanaan, and deuided their lad to them by lot.
௧௯கானான் தேசத்தில் ஏழு மக்கள் இனங்களை அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய தேசத்தை இவர்களுக்குச் சொந்தமாகப் பங்கிட்டுக் கொடுத்து,
20 Then afterward he gaue vnto them Iudges about foure hundreth and fiftie yeeres, vnto the time of Samuel the Prophet.
௨0பின்பு ஏறக்குறைய நானூற்று ஐம்பது வருடங்களாக சாமுவேல் தீர்க்கதரிசிவரைக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு நியாயாதிபதிகளை நியமித்துவந்தார்.
21 So after that, they desired a King, and God gaue vnto them Saul, the sonne of Cis, a man of ye tribe of Beniamin, by the space of fourty yeres.
௨௧அதற்குப்பின்பு மக்கள் தங்களுக்கு ஒரு ராஜா வேண்டுமென்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள்; அப்படியே தேவன் பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கீசுடைய மகனான சவுலை நாற்பது வருடங்களாக அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்.
22 And after he had taken him away, he raised vp Dauid to be their King, of whom he witnessed, saying, I haue found Dauid the sonne of Iesse, a man after mine owne heart, which will doe all things that I will.
௨௨பின்பு தேவன் சவுலைத் தள்ளி, தாவீதை அவர்களுக்கு ராஜாவாக ஏற்படுத்தினார். ஈசாயின் மகனாகிய தாவீதை என் மனதிற்கு பிடித்தவனாகப் பார்த்தேன்; எனக்கு விருப்பமானவைகளையெல்லாம் அவன் செய்வான் என்று அவனைக்குறித்து சாட்சியும் சொன்னார்.
23 Of this mans seede hath God according to his promise raised vp to Israel, ye Sauiour Iesus:
௨௩அவனுடைய வம்சத்திலே தேவன் தமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படியே இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு இரட்சகராக இயேசுவை எழும்பப்பண்ணினார்.
24 When Iohn had first preached before his coming the baptisme of repentance to all the people of Israel.
௨௪இவர் வெளிப்படுவதற்குமுன்னே மனம்திரும்புவதற்கான ஞானஸ்நானத்தைப்பற்றி யோவான் இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லோருக்கும் போதித்தான்.
25 And when Iohn had fulfilled his course, he saide, Whom ye thinke that I am, I am not he: but beholde, there commeth one after me, whose shooe of his feete I am not worthy to loose.
௨௫யோவான் தன் பணிகளை முடிக்கிறபோது: நீங்கள் என்னை யார் என்று நினைக்கிறீர்கள்? நான் அவர் இல்லை, இதோ, எனக்குப்பின்பு ஒருவர் வருகிறார், அவருடைய காலணிகளை அவிழ்ப்பதற்குக்கூட நான் தகுதியானவன் இல்லை என்றான்.
26 Yee men and brethren, children of the generation of Abraham, and whosoeuer among you feareth God, to you is the woorde of this saluation sent.
௨௬சகோதரர்களே, ஆபிரகாமின் வம்சத்தில் பிறந்தவர்களே, தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்களே, இந்த மீட்பின் வசனம் உங்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
27 For the inhabitants of Hierusalem, and their rulers, because they knewe him not, nor yet the woordes of the Prophets, which are read euery Sabbath day, they haue fulfilled them in condemning him.
௨௭எருசலேமில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களும் அவர்கள் அதிகாரிகளும், அவரைத் தெரியாமலும், ஓய்வுநாட்களில் வாசிக்கப்படுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வாக்கியங்களைத் தெரியாமலும், அவரை தண்டனைக்குள்ளாக்கியதினால் அந்த வாக்கியங்களை நிறைவேற்றினார்கள்.
28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate to kill him.
௨௮கொலை செய்யப்படுவதற்கான காரணங்கள் ஒன்றும் அவரிடத்தில் இல்லாதிருந்தும், அவரைக் கொலைசெய்யும்படிக்குப் பிலாத்துவை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
29 And when they had fulfilled all things that were written of him, they tooke him downe from the tree, and put him in a sepulchre.
௨௯அவரைக்குறித்து எழுதியிருக்கிறவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் அவர்கள் நிறைவேற்றினபின்பு, அவரை மரத்திலிருந்து இறக்கி, கல்லறையிலே வைத்தார்கள்.
30 But God raised him vp from the dead.
௩0தேவனோ அவரை மரணத்திலிருந்து உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார்.
31 And hee was seene many dayes of them, which came vp with him from Galile to Hierusalem, which are his witnesses vnto the people.
௩௧இயேசு கலிலேயாவிலிருந்து எருசலேமுக்குத் தம்மோடு வந்தவர்களுக்கு அநேகநாட்கள் தரிசனமானார்; அவர்களே மக்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவருக்குச் சாட்சிகளாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
32 And we declare vnto you, that touching the promise made vnto the fathers,
௩௨நீர் என்னுடைய மகன், இன்று நான் உம்மைப் பெற்றேன் என்று இரண்டாம் சங்கீதத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியே,
33 God hath fulfilled it vnto vs their children, in that he raised vp Iesus, euen as it is written in the seconde Psalme, Thou art my Sonne: this day haue I begotten thee.
௩௩இயேசுவை உயிரோடு எழுப்பினதினாலே தேவன் நம்முடைய முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு அருளிய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நமக்கு நிறைவேற்றினார் என்று நாங்களும் உங்களுக்கு நற்செய்தியாக அறிவிக்கிறோம்.
34 Nowe as concerning that he raised him vp from the dead, no more to returne to corruption, he hath said thus, I wil giue you the holy things of Dauid, which are faithfull.
௩௪அவர் இனி ஒருபோதும் அழிவுக்குட்படாதபடி தேவன் அவரை உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார் என்பதைக்குறித்து: தாவீதுக்கு அருளின நிச்சயமான கிருபைகளை உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவேன்’ என்று உரைத்தார்.
35 Wherefore hee sayeth also in another place, Thou wilt not suffer thine Holy one to see corruption.
௩௫அன்றியும், ‘உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தர் அழிவைக் காணவிடமாட்டீர்’ என்று வேறொரு சங்கீதத்தில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறது.
36 Howbeit, Dauid after hee had serued his time by the counsell of God, hee slept, and was laid with his fathers, and sawe corruption.
௩௬தாவீது தன் காலத்திலே தேவனுடைய விருப்பத்தின்படி அவருக்கு ஊழியம் செய்தபின்பு மரித்து, தன் முற்பிதாக்களிடத்திலே சேர்க்கப்பட்டு, அழிவைக் கண்டான்.
37 But he whom God raised vp, sawe no corruption.
௩௭தேவனால் உயிரோடு எழுப்பப்பட்டவரோ அழிவைக் காணவில்லை.
38 Be it knowen vnto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached vnto you the forgiuenesse of sinnes.
௩௮ஆதலால் சகோதரர்களே, இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மூலமாக உங்களுக்குப் பாவமன்னிப்பு உண்டாகும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்படுகிறதென்றும்,
39 And from al things, from which ye could not be iustified by the Law of Moses, by him euery one that beleeueth, is iustified.
௩௯மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே நீங்கள் எவைகளில் இருந்து விடுதலையாகி நீதிமான்களாக்கப்பட முடியாமலிருந்ததோ, விசுவாசிக்கிற எவனும் அவைகளிலிருந்து இயேசுவாலே விடுதலையாகி நீதிமானாக்கப்படுகிறான் என்றும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்திருப்பதாக.
40 Beware therefore lest that come vpon you, which is spoken of in the Prophets,
௪0அன்றியும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் புத்தகத்திலே:
41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and vanish away: for I woorke a woorke in your daies, a woorke which yee shall not beleeue, if a man would declare it you.
௪௧அசட்டைப்பண்ணுகிறவர்களே, பாருங்கள், ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு அழிந்துபோங்கள்! உங்களுடைய நாட்களில் நான் ஒரு செயலைச் செய்திடுவேன், ஒருவன் அதை உங்களுக்கு விளக்கிச் சொன்னாலும் நீங்கள் நம்பமாட்டீர்கள்” என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறபடி, உங்களுக்கு நடக்காதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள் என்றான்.
42 And when they were come out of the Synagogue of the Iewes, the Gentiles besought, that they woulde preach these woordes to them the next Sabbath day.
௪௨அவர்கள் யூதர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயத்திலிருந்து புறப்படும்பொழுது, அடுத்த ஓய்வுநாளிலே இந்த வசனங்களைத் தங்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்று யூதரல்லாதோர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள்.
43 Nowe when the congregation was dissolued, many of the Iewes and Proselytes that feared God, followed Paul and Barnabas, which spake to them, and exhorted them to continue in the grace of God.
௪௩ஜெப ஆலய கூட்டம் முடிந்தபின்பு, யூதர்களிலும் யூதமார்க்கத்தைப் பின்பற்றின பக்தியுள்ளவர்களில் அநேகர் பவுலையும் பர்னபாவையும் பின்பற்றினார்கள். அவர்களோடு இவர்கள் பேசி, தேவனுடைய கிருபையிலே நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்குப் புத்திசொன்னார்கள்.
44 And ye next Sabbath day came almost the whole citie together, to heare the worde of God.
௪௪அடுத்த ஓய்வுநாளிலே பட்டணத்தார் அனைவரும் தேவவசனத்தைக் கேட்பதற்காக கூடிவந்தார்கள்.
45 But when the Iewes saw the people, they were full of enuie, and spake against those things, which were spoken of Paul, contrarying them, and railing on them.
௪௫யூதர்கள் மக்கள் கூட்டங்களைப் பார்த்தபோது பொறாமைப்பட்டு, பவுலினால் சொல்லப்பட்டவைகளுக்கு எதிராகப் பேசி, அவர்களை அவமதித்தார்கள்.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas spake boldly, and sayde, It was necessarie that the woorde of God shoulde first haue beene spoken vnto you: but seeing yee put it from you, and iudge your selues vnworthie of euerlasting life, loe, we turne to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
௪௬அப்பொழுது பவுலும் பர்னபாவும் தைரியத்தோடு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: முதலாவது உங்களுக்குத்தான் தேவவசனத்தைச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாயிருந்தது; ஆனால் நீங்களோ அதை வேண்டாம் என்று தள்ளி, உங்களை நீங்களே நித்தியஜீவனுக்கு தகுதியற்றவர்கள் என்று தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிறபடியால், இதோ, நாங்கள் யூதரல்லாதோர்களிடத்திற்குப் போகிறோம். 47 For so hath the Lord commanded vs, saying, I haue made thee a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be the saluation vnto the end of the world.
௪௭நீர் பூமியின் கடைசிவரை இரட்சிப்பாக இருப்பதற்கு உம்மை மக்களுக்கு ஒளியாக வைத்தேன்” என்கிற வேதவாக்கியத்தின்படி கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கிறதினால் இப்படிச் செய்கிறோம் என்றார்கள்.
48 And when the Gentiles heard it, they were glad, and glorified the woorde of the Lord: and as many as were ordeined vnto eternall life, beleeued. (aiōnios g166)
௪௮யூதரல்லாதோர் அதைக்கேட்டு சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, கர்த்தருடைய வசனத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள். நித்தியஜீவனுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் எவர்களோ அவர்கள் விசுவாசித்தார்கள். (aiōnios g166)
49 Thus the worde of the Lord was published throughout the whole countrey.
௪௯கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் அந்த தேசம் முழுவதும் பிரசித்தமானது.
50 But the Iewes stirred certaine deuoute and honourable women, and the chiefe men of the citie, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coastes.
௫0யூதர்கள் பக்தியும் கனமும் பெற்ற பெண்களையும் பட்டணத்து முதலாளிகளையும் தூண்டிவிட்டு, பவுலையும் பர்னபாவையும் துன்பப்படுத்தும்படி செய்து, தங்களுடைய எல்லைகளுக்கு வெளியே அவர்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டார்கள்.
51 But they shooke off the dust of their feete against them, and came vnto Iconium.
௫௧இவர்கள் தங்களுடைய கால்களில் இருந்த தூசிகளை அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக உதறிப்போட்டு, இக்கோனியா பட்டணத்திற்குப் போனார்கள்.
52 And the disciples were filled with ioy, and with the holy Ghost.
௫௨சீடர்கள் சந்தோஷத்தினாலும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராலும் நிரப்பப்பட்டார்கள்.
