Acts 10
1 Futhermore there was a certaine man in Cesarea called Cornelius, a captaine of the band called the Italian band,
ಕೈಸರೈಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವನಿದ್ದನು. “ಇಟಲಿಯ ದಳ” ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿನ ದಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿ.
2 A deuoute man, and one that feared God with all his housholde, which gaue much almes to the people, and prayed God continually.
ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಭಕ್ತಿವಂತರೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ಕೊರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಅನುದಿನವೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
3 He sawe in a vision euidently (about the ninth houre of the day) an Angel of God comming in to him, and saying vnto him, Cornelius.
ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ಗಂಟೆಯ ಸಮಯ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು. ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವದೂತನು ಬಂದು, “ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೇ!” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವ ದೇವದೂತನನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡನು.
4 But when hee looked on him, hee was afrayd, and sayd, What is it, Lord? and he sayd vnto him, Thy prayers and thine almes are come vp into remembrance before God.
ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಭಯದಿಂದ ದೇವದೂತನನ್ನೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ, “ಏನು ಸ್ವಾಮೀ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳು, ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದಾನಗಳು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ.
5 Nowe therefore send men to Ioppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter.
ಈಗ ನೀನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಪೇತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಸೀಮೋನನನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳು.
6 Hee lodgeth with one Simon a Tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to doe.
ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ಮನೆ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ದೇವದೂತನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
7 And when the Angel which spake vnto Cornelius, was departed, he called two of his seruants, and a souldier that feared God, one of them that waited on him,
ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೇವದೂತನು ಅದೃಶ್ಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಚಾರಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿವಂತನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಿಪಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕರೆದು,
8 And tolde them all things, and sent them to Ioppa.
ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
9 On the morow as they went on their iourney, and drew neere vnto the citie, Peter went vp vpon the house to pray, about the sixt houre.
ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿನ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಸಮಯ ಯೊಪ್ಪ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಆಗತಾನೇ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಲು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
10 Then waxed hee an hungred, and would haue eaten: but while they made some thing ready, he fell into a trance.
ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಸಿವಾಗಿ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕೆನಿಸಿತು. ಊಟ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನು ಧ್ಯಾನ ಪರವಶನಾದನು.
11 And hee sawe heauen opened, and a certaine vessell come downe vnto him, as it had bene a great sheete, knit at the foure corners, and was let downe to the earth.
ಪರಲೋಕವು ತೆರೆಯಲಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೂಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತುವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿಯುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
12 Wherein were all maner of foure footed beastes of the earth, and wilde beastes and creeping things, and foules of the heauen.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಾಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಸರೀಸೃಪಗಳು, ಹಾರಾಡುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವು.
13 And there came a voyce to him, Arise, Peter: kill, and eate.
ಆಗ, “ಪೇತ್ರನೇ, ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ಕೊಂದು ತಿನ್ನು,” ಎಂಬ ವಾಣಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.
14 But Peter sayd, Not so, Lord: for I haue neuer eaten any thing that is polluted, or vncleane.
ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು, “ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ನನ್ನಿಂದಾಗದು! ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಿಷಿದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಾನೆಂದೂ ತಿಂದವನಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದನು.
15 And the voyce spake vnto him againe the second time, The things that God hath purified, pollute thou not.
ವಾಣಿಯು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಬಾರಿಗೆ, “ದೇವರು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧವೆನ್ನಬೇಡ,” ಎಂದಿತು.
16 This was so done thrise: and the vessell was drawen vp againe into heauen.
ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನಡೆದಮೇಲೆ, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಆ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.
17 Nowe while Peter douted in himselfe what this vision which he had seene, meant, beholde, the men which were sent from Cornelius, had inquired for Simons house, and stoode at the gate,
ಈ ದರ್ಶನದ ಅರ್ಥವೇನೆಂದು ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲು, ಇಗೋ, ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಜನರು ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು.
18 And called, and asked, whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
ಅವರು ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಸೀಮೋನ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವನೋ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರು.
19 And while Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit sayde vnto him, Beholde, three men seeke thee.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲು, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಸೀಮೋನನೇ ಇಗೋ, ಮೂವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
20 Arise therefore, and get thee downe, and goe with them, and doute nothing: For I haue sent them.
ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಹೋಗು. ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಲು ಹಿಂಜರಿಯಬೇಡ, ನಾನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರುವೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
21 Then Peter went downe to the men, which were sent vnto him from Cornelius, and sayd, Beholde, I am he whome ye seeke: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ನಾನೇ. ನೀವು ಬಂದಿರುವ ಕಾರಣವೇನು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
22 And they sayd, Cornelius the captaine, a iust man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Iewes, was warned from heauen by an holy Angel, to send for thee into his house, and to heare thy wordes.
ಅವರು, “ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನು, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವನು, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವದೂತನಿಂದ ಆದೇಶಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
23 Then called he them in, and lodged them, and the next day, Peter went foorth with them, and certaine brethren from Ioppa accompanied him.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿರಲು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕರೆದನು. ಮರುದಿನ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದನು. ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಕೆಲವು ಸಹೋದರರು ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟರು.
24 And the day after, they entred into Cesarea. Nowe Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsemen, and special friends.
ಮರುದಿನ ಅವನು ಕೈಸರೈಯವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ತನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
25 And it came to passe as Peter came in, that Cornelius met him, and fell downe at his feete, and worshipped him.
ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆರಗಿ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರಮಾಡಿದನು.
26 But Peter tooke him vp, saying, Stand vp: for euen I my selfe am a man.
ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, “ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ನಾನೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
27 And as he talked with him, he came in, and found many that were come together.
ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪೇ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
28 And he sayd vnto them, Ye know that it is an vnlawfull thing for a man that is a Iewe, to company, or come vnto one of another nation: but God hath shewed me, that I should not call any man polluted, or vncleane.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರಿಗೆ: “ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೂದಿ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿರೂ ತಿಳಿದೇ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಷಿದ್ಧವಾದವನು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
29 Therefore came I vnto you without saying nay, when I was sent for. I aske therefore, for what intent haue ye sent for me?
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯಾವ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣವನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದೋ?” ಎಂದನು.
30 Then Cornelius sayd, Foure dayes agoe, about this houre, I fasted, and at the ninth houre I prayed in mine house, and beholde, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
ಆಗ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು, “ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ, ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಮೂರು ಗಂಟೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. ಆಗ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನೆದುರು ಬಂದು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡನು.
31 And sayd, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine almes are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
ಅವನು ನನಗೆ, ‘ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
32 Send therefore to Ioppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter (he is lodged in the house of Simon a Tanner by the sea side) who when he commeth, shall speake vnto thee.
ಪೇತ್ರನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿನ ಸೀಮೋನನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ಪೇತ್ರನು ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
33 Then sent I for thee immediately, and thou hast well done to come. Nowe therefore are we all here present before God, to heare all things that are commanded thee of God.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸು ನಮಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿರುವರೋ ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಈಗ ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೇವೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and sayd, Of a trueth I perceiue, that God is no accepter of persons.
ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ: “ದೇವರು ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಿಯಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಈಗ ನನಗೆ ಮನದಟ್ಟಾಗಿದೆ.
35 But in euery nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousnesse, is accepted with him.
ದೇವರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಮಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
36 Ye know the worde which God hath sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Iesus Christ, which is Lord of all:
ಸರ್ವಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
37 Euen the worde which came through all Iudea, beginning in Galile, after the baptisme which Iohn preached.
ಯೋಹಾನನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಏನು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
38 To wit, howe God anointed Iesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the deuill: for God was with him.
ದೇವರು ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದಲೂ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಡನೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಒಳಿತನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಪಿಶಾಚನಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತರಾದವರನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Iewes, and in Hierusalem, whom they slewe, hanging him on a tree.
“ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು. ಮರದ ಕಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ತೂಗುಹಾಕಿ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನಾಯಕರು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು,
40 Him God raysed vp the third day, and caused that he was shewed openly:
ಆದರೆ ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
41 Not to all the people, but vnto the witnesses chosen before of God, euen to vs which did eate and drinke with him, after he arose from the dead.
ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಮೊದಲೇ ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಯೇಸು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಊಟ, ಪಾನಮಾಡಿದ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
42 And he commanded vs to preach vnto the people, and to testifie, that it is he that is ordained of God a iudge of quicke and dead.
ಜೀವಿಸುವವರಿಗೂ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನೇಮಕವಾದವರು ಯೇಸುವೇ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
43 To him also giue all the Prophets witnesse, that through his Name all that beleeue in him, shall receiue remission of sinnes.
ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನಿಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು ಎಂದು ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
44 While Peter yet spake these wordes, the holy Ghost fell on al them which heard the word.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ, ಆ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದರು.
45 So they of the circumcision which beleeued, were astonied, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was powred out the gift of the holy Ghost.
ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ವರವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇತ್ರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
46 For they heard them speake with tongues, and magnifie God. Then answered Peter,
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು, ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which haue receiued the holy Ghost, as well as we?
“ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದದಂತೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡುವವರಿದ್ದಾರೋ? ನಾವು ಹೊಂದಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಇವರು ಸಹ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
48 So he commanded them to be baptized in the Name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tary certaine dayes.
ಆಗ ಅವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅನಂತರ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.
