2 Timothy 3

1 This knowe also, that in the last dayes shall come perilous times.

τουτο δε γινωσκε οτι εν εσχαταισ ημεραισ ενστησονται καιροι χαλεποι

2 For men shalbe louers of their owne selues, couetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, vnthankefull, vnholy,

εσονται γαρ οι ανθρωποι φιλαυτοι φιλαργυροι αλαζονεσ υπερηφανοι βλασφημοι γονευσιν απειθεισ αχαριστοι ανοσιοι

3 Without naturall affection, truce breakers, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, no louers at all of them which are good,

αστοργοι ασπονδοι διαβολοι ακρατεισ ανημεροι αφιλαγαθοι

4 Traitours, headie, high minded, louers of pleasures more then louers of God,

προδοται προπετεισ τετυφωμενοι φιληδονοι μαλλον η φιλοθεοι

5 Hauing a shewe of godlinesse, but haue denied the power thereof: turne away therefore from such.

εχοντεσ μορφωσιν ευσεβειασ την δε δυναμιν αυτησ ηρνημενοι και τουτουσ αποτρεπου

6 For of this sort are they which creepe into houses, and leade captiue simple women laden with sinnes, and led with diuers lustes,

εκ τουτων γαρ εισιν οι ενδυνοντεσ εισ τασ οικιασ και αιχμαλωτευοντεσ γυναικαρια σεσωρευμενα αμαρτιαισ αγομενα επιθυμιαισ ποικιλαισ

7 Which women are euer learning, and are neuer able to come to the acknowledging of the trueth.

παντοτε μανθανοντα και μηδεποτε εισ επιγνωσιν αληθειασ ελθειν δυναμενα

8 And as Iannes and Iambres withstoode Moses, so doe these also resist the trueth, men of corrupt mindes, reprobate concerning the faith.

ον τροπον δε ιαννησ και ιαμβρησ αντεστησαν μωυση ουτωσ και ουτοι ανθιστανται τη αληθεια ανθρωποι κατεφθαρμενοι τον νουν αδοκιμοι περι την πιστιν

9 But they shall preuaile no longer: for their madnesse shalbe euident vnto all men, as theirs also was.

αλλ ου προκοψουσιν επι πλειον η γαρ ανοια αυτων εκδηλοσ εσται πασιν ωσ και η εκεινων εγενετο

10 But thou hast fully knowen my doctrine, maner of liuing, purpose, faith, long suffering, loue, patience,

συ δε παρηκολουθηκασ μου τη διδασκαλια τη αγωγη τη προθεσει τη πιστει τη μακροθυμια τη αγαπη τη υπομονη

11 Persecutions, and afflictions which came vnto me at Antiochia, at Iconium, and at Lystri, which persecutions I suffered: but from them all the Lord deliuered me.

τοισ διωγμοισ τοισ παθημασιν οια μοι εγενετο εν αντιοχεια εν ικονιω εν λυστροισ οιουσ διωγμουσ υπηνεγκα και εκ παντων με ερρυσατο ο κυριοσ

12 Yea, and all that will liue godly in Christ Iesus, shall suffer persecution.

και παντεσ δε οι θελοντεσ ευσεβωσ ζην εν χριστω ιησου διωχθησονται

13 But the euill men and deceiuers, shall waxe worse and worse, deceiuing, and being deceiued.

πονηροι δε ανθρωποι και γοητεσ προκοψουσιν επι το χειρον πλανωντεσ και πλανωμενοι

14 But continue thou in the thinges which thou hast learned, and which are committed vnto thee, knowing of who thou hast learned them:

συ δε μενε εν οισ εμαθεσ και επιστωθησ ειδωσ παρα τινοσ εμαθεσ

15 And that thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures of a childe, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation, through the faith which is in Christ Iesus.

και οτι απο βρεφουσ τα ιερα γραμματα οιδασ τα δυναμενα σε σοφισαι εισ σωτηριαν δια πιστεωσ τησ εν χριστω ιησου

16 For the whole Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teache, to conuince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousnesse,

πασα γραφη θεοπνευστοσ και ωφελιμοσ προσ διδασκαλιαν προσ ελεγχον προσ επανορθωσιν προσ παιδειαν την εν δικαιοσυνη

17 That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect vnto all good workes.

ινα αρτιοσ η ο του θεου ανθρωποσ προσ παν εργον αγαθον εξηρτισμενοσ
